Current I'm tempted to say "I've lost better friends than you" to a lote of people lately. I'm not sure what I ever want to say to the better friends that I've lost, though.

Twelve years ago, I said something on this website that continues to embarrassing me to this day. I was a stupid kid, like most, but I've never quite gotten the taste out of my mouth. Anyone who knew me at the time can tell you about it.

I love this website. I'm pretty sure my phylactery is stored wherever the webserver is and a significant chunk of me will just disappear when it ceases operation. Until then, it comforts me. I should go to the hardware store and paint my bedroom walls with the same soft, brownish grey that the background color has been for the last twelve years. Some of my friends can't wait for the site to go offline but I don't know of any other places that offer the same sense of community.

I'm an omni-gamer. I like board games, tabletop roleplaying games, admire tabletop war games, suck at riddles, and have an absurd library of video games. Survival horror is basically my favorite genre. Otherwise I'm a fan of esoteric, occult bullshit and punk rock. But disco's cool. Disco is what humanity sounds like when it chooses to be happy. Between you and I, I'd like to hope that the days of my life can sparkle like a disco ball, accreting like sparks from a grinder held up against the unwavering dark of deaths own shadow. Burn baby burn.

You and I, we're gonna die. We should be friends first, though. Write some checks we can't cash and make eachother smile. Make believe for a while.

Have you seen my DD yet, or were you waiting for the 24 hour thing, Jones? Just curious since I know you're busy and all. Probably wont have a post ready for a day or two anyhow.

I personally don't have a problem with it, the more the merrier, but my viewpoint is that you're GM and can do what the fuck you want to. Er, um, I mean, that is to say, no you can't have a spot on our prestigious team. Unless I can write a villain sheet. For funsies. And also for playing.

*Shrugs* I've only just a few days ago met you officially, but I've seen you around and know you got experience (I applied for the Emergence game right before the Guild fall), so go ahead and work up a sheet.

Oh no! Dani, the teenage girl with an uncontrollable demon bound to her soul that grants her massive power when in the presence of evil has been kidnapped by a modern Nazi organization with a leader on the same level as, or perhaps worse than, Hitler! Surely this is the end for our golden heroine, as questionable a term that may be!Man, this is not going to end well for In any case, waiting for a few members of my team to post before I do, since my next post will contain a time skip and I'm reluctant to do that until they've had their chances to finish up their things. Stuff, Lori.

I dropped Ben 10 mostly because of a lack of effectiveness that I'd been having overall on the games. Would any of you mind if I took a different character to join YA?

As long as we are doing that Daredevil team stuff with Deadpool and the NPCs I mentioned way back when, I'm interested to read it.*does so*I do think its strange to strip him of his origin and how powerful his role is as an attorney, but hey.

Kewl. The reason I shyed away from the normal origin is kinda obvious, but I didn't really take away his power as an attorney.

"Holy hookers, Batman'" shocked, I cried out loud.

If I'll help isn't even a question. I can't imagine the anarchy that could amount from that. Killing Billy might seem like it would stop a lot of violent crime, until you consider how many underlings would claw their way up to secure his spot as their own. With crime in Gotham, it's just like that old saying: When it rains, it pours.

"Where can I find Russo?" I asked, intending to act as a silent bodyguard. But at the same time, that might be a little too late. "No," I changed my mind. "Where's the whore house? From there I can secure a perimeter."

I palmed my face as I searched for the right question, then it hit me. "Where can I find Toots?" But still another question lingered, "What are you gonna do, Mr.Wayne?"

Why is Nightrunner everywhere I go........As for more interest, between getting evicted and college and work and other RPs, I've been very very distracted. I should however have a CS up soon, hopefully.

Call it similar taste. Really, that is probably what it amounts to.
I've created a sheet for Daredevil. It is on the front page with my Batman and Robin apps. Though the sheet itself is rather short and the abilities are less detailed than usual for one of my sheets, I'd like to think that this time I won't tie myself down by being quite so specific about what he has and knows. I left the history kinda vague so we could add onto it later. But, for my new Daredevil I have a few points to address.

First off, he's the son of Ra's Al Ghul. I decided to focus on the martial arts part of his background instead of going the bullied urchin/boxer route. His vendetta against the Kingpin isn't so personal this time around and neither is his battle for justice.

Secondly, he's not blind. I wanted to make him feel more like a ninja and less like a superhuman. Though his senses will still be super-sharp, to an impressive extent, they will not be doing the implausible things Daredevil would normally do.

Thirdly, he won't be using Matt Murdock quite as much as usual. It's something I struggled with last time and decided that this time (like the age-old Batman philosophy) that the civilian alias is the mask.

Training Room Simulation: Castle of The Nightingales, Titans Tower
10:43 AM, January 1 2016

Ricochet pushed himself off the ground with both hands and landed back on his feet. He spun around and popped Harley in the jaw, while she was still mumbling like a maniac. When his fist connected with her face, she spat out and coughed as she fell back, cornered.

Not giving the simulation the chance to hurt his friend again, he kept thrashing at her until she stopped trying to stand. From the corner of his eye, Johnny saw Tim's jaw drop as Harley went limp and slumped onto the floor. Tim looked at Johnny in horror as Ricochet turned back to him and grimaced.

"You didn't have to keep going!" Tim pleaded. "She was already done."

But, Ricochet merely sneered, "Are you even paying attention?"

"Of course I am! I just saw you beating a lunatic senseless."

"How is that bad?" Ricochet asked.

Tim paused before slowly whispering. "You didn't need to keep going."

"Who says? If the actual Harley Quinn shot at us and beat you as you lay on the ground while we were trying to rescue someone she was holding hostage, it's irresponsible to leave her conscious. All she is doing is endangering lives."

"So you beat her?"

"Yes!" Johnny shouted. "What do you think superheroes do? People at gunpoint don't get to walk away unless you actually stop the people waving the guns."

"But--we're not like that, though. We don't beat people who can't think straight."

"Yeah, we do. We imprison drunk drivers all the time. But people who's only thought is to ravage all things living get treatment and reeducation. I don't think you really understand what we do."

"Hey! Well it's not--..." Tim fell short as all of Johnny's worss sunk in.

"Exactly. If dressing up in a mask and beating people is bad, then we're all bad people. If it's not, we're in the clear. I'm just not afraid of going too far because of a little thing called self-control. Let people think what they want." As a final statement, he said, "If I really cross a line, I'd expect someone more responsible to stop me."

Then Ricochet grabbed Harley's mallet before he went up the stairs and marched into the highest room. There were three guards, a few more than Johnny was comfortable with, all standing around a chair in the center of the room. Johnny looked behind him to see that Scorpion was trailing behind, with a somewhat downhearted expression.

"Here's the plan..." Johnny whispered to his partner, giving him a full plan of action.

Seconds later, Ricochet sent a golden disk shuttling towards each of the guards. Two of the sentinels avoided damage by catching and slashing their disks, however the third was caught off guard and struck in the kidneys before a gas leaked out from the disk, rendering him completely disconnected from reality.

The two silent sentinels charged at Johnny, who initially posed as though he was about to take them on hand to hand. But when they got closer, Johnny stormed back to the stairs and launched himself down to the penultimate floor.

The two ninja came side by side down the stairway, each raising a katana and preparing to leap onto the silver-scalped hero. But when they did jump, they jolted forward and landed on their knees, their backsides were singed by a powerful blast coming from the Scorpion's tail, which had caught them from by climbing into the highest room moments before.

When they were unable to fight back because of the immense surprise, Johnny performed a spin-kick and smacked their faces simultaneously with the toe of his boot.

"Great timing, Tim," Johnny chuckled and playfully performed a curtsy.

Then, the two youths went back upstairs and grabbed the bound informant before carrying him down to ground level, at which point the exercise ended.
This game looks quite excellent, indeed. And... there he is. The closest thing I have to a roleplaying-father.
