Twelve years ago, I said something on this website that continues to embarrassing me to this day. I was a stupid kid, like most, but I've never quite gotten the taste out of my mouth. Anyone who knew me at the time can tell you about it.
I love this website. I'm pretty sure my phylactery is stored wherever the webserver is and a significant chunk of me will just disappear when it ceases operation. Until then, it comforts me. I should go to the hardware store and paint my bedroom walls with the same soft, brownish grey that the background color has been for the last twelve years. Some of my friends can't wait for the site to go offline but I don't know of any other places that offer the same sense of community.
I'm an omni-gamer. I like board games, tabletop roleplaying games, admire tabletop war games, suck at riddles, and have an absurd library of video games. Survival horror is basically my favorite genre. Otherwise I'm a fan of esoteric, occult bullshit and punk rock. But disco's cool. Disco is what humanity sounds like when it chooses to be happy. Between you and I, I'd like to hope that the days of my life can sparkle like a disco ball, accreting like sparks from a grinder held up against the unwavering dark of deaths own shadow. Burn baby burn.
You and I, we're gonna die. We should be friends first, though. Write some checks we can't cash and make eachother smile. Make believe for a while.

Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I had to remake this from scratch today right before I would've finished. Hope this is good enough.

Abilities: Scott can fire optic blasts that have thermal, electromagnetic, and kinetic energy. The cause for this is that his pupils actually have enzymes that transform the air in front of him into a plasmatic state. He often wears a visor that can screen his blasts while still allowing him sight. Because of this, when he initially opens fire, the beginning of his blasts are a more powerful burst than the remainder. Also, he has combat experience and strategic expertise gained from leading the X-men early in life.
Personality: Scott is an introvert, he keeps his plans to himself and is very cautious about who he gives information to. He is often seen as a jerk, a cynic, and a self-sanctimonious preacher. But he is none of these things. He is the most thoughtful of the X-Men, he is objective and is willing to make sacrifices to reach an end-game that he can feel comfortable with. Scott is valiant and direct in his actions, but he is not impulsive at all, merely passionate. Deep down he has fears that linger from his teenage years, a lack of confidence and unshakable feelings of insecurity.

When he was fifteen he was adopted by Charles Xavier, who brought him to his mansion he'd inherited and transformed into a school meant to train mutants to survive in the world.
It was there that he met Jean Grey, Bobby Drake, Hank Mccoy, and Warren Worthington III. They were all a closely knit group of friends despite having emotions fly and other bumps in the road. There were often times when his shy nature caused tension between him and Jean Grey due to a crush that never became anything more. Xavier helped train them to fight for the coexistence of humankind and mutantkind in a VR room where they ran various field missions with Scott as their leader. Codenamed Cyclops, he led the 'X-Men' into many battles meant to prove that they were just as beneficial to mankind as everyone else.
When he was seventeen, Beast, Angel, Marvel Girl, Iceman and Scott defeated Magneto in an air force base in Nebraska. Magneto had the goal of proving mutant superiority rather than yearning for peace as Charles had. This often led to hard contact between himself, the X-Men, and his own Brotherhood of Mutants. Rather than killing The X-Men, as he could have, instead he aimed to recruit them to his cause, seeing great potential in Scott particularly.
Honestly, Scott had seen great merits to joining Magneto's side and the more aggressive approach to asserting mutant rights. But he never did so that he wouldn't disappoint Xavier. As time went by, and as the Xavier Institute grew, Scott served as a teacher and remained leader of the X-Men. Then everything fell apart.
When Xavier died in 2012, he left the X-Men behind, unsure of what to do with himself because he believed that he could've prevented his death. Then it hit him, he'd carry on Xavier's dream, but in his own way. He'd take the more aggressive approach to defending mutant rights. Rather than hiding within the school, Scott created a team of mutants that would fight for Earth as a whole, believing that all along the X-Men had been Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Because the name X-Men signified a connection to the institute, he chose the name 'X-Tinction Team', because his new group would handle extinction level threats to any species. They also stood as a group that would rip apart an iron fist that would come down on mutants as a whole, no matter where it was in the world. He showed that mutants could be just as heroic as the Avengers. Even in the face of the incidents in 2013 and 2014, his team continues to stand firm in their course, taking great offense to the existence and use of the Sentinels.

Hearing Mr. Wayne holler from a distance, "Move in, Dick! Take them down hard and fast!" I doubled back on my back and returned to the vicinity of the mobster-mobile.
Five mafiosos versus Batman & Robin. I liked those odds. It took a second for me to leap off my bike and into the mess of disoriented mobsters. While they all screamed, my helmet screened out the whine of the sonic weaponry while amplifying communications with Wayne himself.
The driver struggled to stop covering his ears so he could stand up straight and aim his pistol at me. But his concentration was nonexistent due to the pain ringing through his ears. His hands shook wildly as he pointed the gun, like Vesper Fairchild at a party, but unlike Vesper, I wasn't going to give him the time of day. So I reached behind my back and tugged my telescoping staff from it's holster, spinning in a quick circle as it expanded. Like a weed-wacker, it twirled and whipped his hand, forcing him to throw the gun away. And while he was unarmed, I punched him in the face before doing a spinning kick that struck his jaw, instantly rendering him unconscious.
It all took about three seconds for me to beat the driver, and I saw that the Bat was now among us, helping me against the other four shell-shocked assassins.

You should be consider yourself lucky I'm not the GM, I have no patience for people who randomly alter their CS's. I expect CS's not to be altered once accepted unless it's to reflect current events in the IC.
I'm with Wraith on this one. It's one thing if you ask me, but I didn't accept the updated version of Deathstroke. I accepted the older one. We'll call this one lesson learned, but don't do it again, man. Because of a few recent developments and things learned from this game, I will make some tweaks to the rules shortly, but any disagreements with them can be brought directly to me via PM.
