'I suppose we have no choice then...' He nodded at Isabella, "We will go with your plan then." As he spoke Cinder rose up from the pile of ashes he had left earlier. He rustled his wings restlessly pushing off the ash from his delicate wings. Leval's two butterflies flew in slow arcs around each other making sure that each was okay. He followed Isabella to the new location, Rika in tow. Isabella gave them directions to the other students and moved into the room. Leval nodded his head at her wishing her luck. Before he left to travel his own path, he handed one of the pieces of rubber soles he had used to remove the shock collar. "The masked man made a shock collar appear around Isabella's neck earlier this will help provide some, however small, protection. I am also going to send Cinder with you, he can speed the healing process and some of the others may be injured. It's probably better to use him rather than your own light magic."

Leval turned and followed the Kitsune's instructions going towards Yoshihiro and Zephroth. He arrived just in time to see Yoshihiro fire the Luna Beam at the rather ugly creature. He quickly turned the beam invisible making it harder to dodge. He threw out several more threads of magic, one making an illusory globe of darkness around the creatures head hopefully preventing t from seeing and filled the room with the sounds of Zephroth's roars and growls to try and disorient it further.

Leval blinked in surprise not only had she been able to tell them who was still in the maze, but also what their names were. The Kitsune raised an arm towards him and he felt a peculiar sensation in his left arm. He moved it out from under the cloak and his arm was fully healed. Some burn scars remained where the arm had charred, but that was a very small price to pay. Leval smiled warmly at the Kitsune, bowing again in thanks. Leval considered the situation carefully and came to one conclusion. "We have to get out of the maze and get help. Maybe Arken can track down the masked man and get Shela and whoever else was taken back. We take down the Masked Man all the other creatures will probably stop. Isabella, are you able to lead us to the exit now in this form? I can fill you in on the details about us, Arken, and Ordinary Mystical Academy on the way."

"Damn!" Leval slammed his staff into the ground with his right hand. He could feel the pain of burnt left arm beginning to creep into his left. He breathes heavily for a moment calming himself down. He glanced back towards the Kitsune apologetically. "I am sorry, it was foolish for me to think that you have that information. Is there anything you might know that could help us? Anything at all would do."

He turned to the obviously worried Rika. "I think the masked man is the one controlling the entire situation. We fought and he kidnapped Shela... it was my fault. I threw everything I could at him and I failed." His knuckles tightened on his staff again, he calmed down again quickly to avoid upsetting Rika. "I don't know about the others, it's possible the man might have taken some of them as well. But I promise I am going to find them." He looked back at the Kitsune.

"My name is Leval and this is Rika. Can I take it that your name is Isabella? If this man trapped you 10,000 years ago, then this energy source I took must have belonged to him at some point. Are either of you skilled in dowsing or psychometry? If not, we will have to find someone that is to find him."

Leval quickly tore at the bottom of cloak, also storing the energy source he had ripped out for later observation. He quickly wrapped the dark fabric around Rika's demonic eye and then pressed his fingers against Rika's temples. Rika would see the same environment he had used in training of the holy landscape that he had said would help him control himself. As an added touch, calming classical music began to play around Rika. He could hopefully relax in the environment for a time to regain his control. "I am proud of you Rika, you did an amazing job keeping yourself under control."

He turned and watched the Kitsune glow orange in her fox form and turn into a woman. The Kitsune gave him a gentle now, which he returned in kind. "I am glad I could help you. But I have several questions and time is of the essence. Who took Shela? Where is he keeping her? Why does he have abilities like Arkan?"

Leval dodged out of the way of the energy blast, rolling on his right arm to avoid causing further damage to his injured arm. He nodded at what Rika had said and complied shrinking the light to an almost imperceptible sliver. The death being was about to use fire surge once more, but Leval wasted no time fearful that the creature would teleport away and heal as soon as it's attack was finished. "Block with water!" Seizing the moment of the creatures distraction, Leval teleported just inside its outstretched arms attempting to hook onto the center of the creatures power with Ash on the very top of his staff bringing it with range of Ash's healing magic. If the attacked successed, he would push off the being with all of his strength including using that of the staff shrinking to wrench the center from the death being. Leval hoped that the presence of Ash would weaken its defenses.

Leval saw the flames bursting up from the ground underneath him and teleported forward slightly to avoid the geyser of flame. However, another spurt of flame, came from behind him. He dodged to the rift but could not move fast enough to avoid all the damage. Searing pain enveloped his entirely left arm, and Leval let out a howl of pain. He glanced down at the arm, blistered were already forming, several patches of skin had been burnt black. Leval gritted his teeth and placed an illusion of numbness onto his arm. He could no longer use it, but for a brief time he wouldn't have to feel it. Behind him he heard the approach of small footsteps and saw Rika join him by his side.

"Leval, are you alright? Have you seen Argentina? She's here, she helped me."

Leval hid his left arm under his cloak to not upset the child. He shrunk his staff to its normal hook state. He grinned over at him and said "I'm fine, but am slightly busy at the moment. If you have any Life magic at your disposal cast it now!" Leval vanished and appeared atop the being of death attempting to reach into the hole with his staff and wrench out the large object fueling it.

Leval dodged out of the way of the blast and Ash managed to flutter close to Leval. Cinder was not as fortunate as he took the blast in full, disintegrating into a small pile of ashes onto the ground. Leval winced in sympathy for his friend but knew that Cinder's rejuvenation abilities would ressurect him in due time. Leval eyed the creature- it seemed to have been aiming at the butterflies rather than himself. Leval conjured another Weave and scores of illusory butterflies filled the field all barreling at the creatures right hand side in a swarm. Leval shifted himself and Ash, who had attached herself to his arm to the creatures left launching the sharp pointed end of his staff at the damaged area. Leval hoped the butterflies would distract the being enough to land another solid blow.
