My favourite settings are those stereotypical post-apocolypse dystopias that you would see the generic Young Adult book protagonist wander around, though I'm also open for Sci-Fi, Modern, and Historical settings. I'm not the biggest fan of Steampunk though, so it's slightly more difficult for me to get involved in those. When RPing, I prefer not to get involved into the stats side of things, as I'd much rather dive deep into the lore of both the setting I'm RPing with and the Characters/Nations I'm using for that RP in question. Now, for more about myself, I'm a massive fan of Music in general and a Singer. My favourite band changes what seems like weekly, though I'd say I'm a massive fan of Nine Inch Nails, Turnover, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Weathers, and Smashmouth The Wombats. My favourite songs are probably Closer, by Nine Inch Nails, Knights of Cydonia, by Muse, BYOB, by System of a Down, Pumped up Kicks, by Foster The People and I Don't Wanna Know, by Weathers. My favourite games are NBA2k18 and Crusader Kings 2, though I'm also a fan of HOI4 (yay Kaiserreich) and EU4. Database of some RPs I've ran: Age of Rebirth (Post WW3) The original. Was a popular NRP for it's time but eventually died out. The Rise of Man (Fallout-like RP) The "sequel" to Age of Rebirth. Was quite interesting building off the history of an NRP that already happened to create a new one. Sollus Supremus (Dune-like Space Opera) I decided to venture out of my comfort zone a bit with this one, some really generic Space Opera. Age of Rebirth: The Rising Tide [Post-Apocolyptic NRP] Honestly my favourite one I've ever made, though that's most likely because I've become a better writer over the past 3 years, considering I'm no longer 13, like I was when I made Age of Rebirth.
Could you please add northern Alberta (just the one chunk next to the top of my area). I've got some fun ideas about a hyper-religious Hutterite (basically Amish) civilization that survived the war, since they weren't near any major cities.

@MetalLoverI was meant to ask this for a while now so I say it. What should we assume about this apocalypse? And how messed up is the civilization? If this were fallout then practically all major infrastructures would be bombed and people have a hard time to know what's going on a few hundred kilometers away much less to know the state of the world. But given the location of our nations and all that I have the impression that while we did suffer an Apocalypse they recovered relatively well. Kind of like Age of Rebirth but with more anarchy.
Which one is the image you're aiming for?
The apocalypse drove the surviving members of humanity underground and a lot of infrastructure and technology was destroyed, but the 200 years underground + the surviving technology allowed for a lot of humanity to recover, just in different ways, meaning that one nation might be a bit steampunkish in nature, and another might be a bit more focused on the technology that they recovered and advanced from the Age of Rebirth, so to put it likely, its like an Age of Rebirth with more variation in technology and a lot more anarchy.

200 years ago the War of Gods, and it seemingly destroyed everything. It all began when the Second Ethiopian Empire and the Caliphate of Istanbul began slugging it out over control of Egypt, but it ended with the nukings of majority of the major cities of earth. Addis Ababa, Shanghai, Moscow, New York, Istanbul, London, and many more where destroyed, and humanity was driven underground, but that was in 2080, now, twenty years after humanity crawled out of its bunkers, after nations started to rise again, it seems that humanity is entering an Age of Rebirth. It is our turn to Rise again from the ashes, it is time for the Rise after the Rebirth.
Welcome to The Rise of Man, a Fallout-Like RP without all of the fantasy elements of the actual Fallout universe. This is also the Pseudo-Sequal of Age of Rebirth, an RP I hosted half a year ago. If you need any information on it here is the link to the actual Characters Tab, but you really don't need a base knowledge of the original lore. To move on to what this RP will be about, it will involve the Rise of Civilization after years of being underground. The War of Gods (Also known as the Final World War) devastated everything and resulted in a lot of technology being destroyed, but those 200 years underground led to different technologies being founded. Power Suits, small hand-held laser guns, and similar types of weapons. This along with the twenty years of being above ground and the rediscovery of how to create Automobiles, Zeplins, Boats, and Primitive Aircraft have led to first contact between the continents. To move on, nations cannot be large, in fact, I'll limit them to 10 territories per nation. That may sound small, but realize that colonization will be allowed with each post, meaning that you can grow larger. I will have to limit it to grabbing two pieces of land per post if they border you, and one piece of land if they don't.

2075: Tensions between the Caliphate and Ethiopia are nearing a war with the revealing that Zakariah was murdered by Istanbul's troops 2077: Ethiopia warns the Caliphate to give Jerusalem to them or face consequences, the Caliphate laughs this off. March 1st, 2080: Ethiopian Troops begin to march onto Egypt, causing Ottomans to begin Air strikes on Addis Ababa March 2nd, 2080: Greece and the Soviet Empire join Ethiopia in wiping out the Caliphate, causing the Caliphate to spread its troops out. July 15th, 2080: After a long stalemate Ethiopia nukes Istanbul out of existence. July 16th, 2080: In response, the Caliphate drops nukes on Moscow, Athens, and Addis Ababa. July 17th, 2080: An attempted peace fails and Ethiopia nukes Ankara, Mosul, and Baghdad. July 18th, 2080: The Caliphate nuke St. Petersburg and Kiev. November 13th, 2080: Julius lands in Cyprus. August 1st 2082 - Kyoto is hit with a clean nuke, leaving the area free of radiation, but utterly destroyed August 5th 2082 - Refugees from Kyoto flood into Nara after the destruction of their city. November 17th, 2082: All world governments have fallen at this point except for the Unified Territories of America and United free peoples of True Asia. December 31st, 2082: United free peoples of True Asia finally fall into full anarchy, leaving the UTA alone. July 4th, 2083: The assassination of the UTA's president leads to it falling into anarchy, destroying all of the worlds major governments. November 25th, 2092: Julius begins his conquest of the Holy land. December 24th, 2092: Julius begins his attempt to conquer Jerusalem. December 25th, 2092: He takes Jerusalem. April 22 2094 - All humans that were not sheltered in Japan have become mutated December 24th, 2112: Julius dies, leaving his son Justinian to take the throne. Janurary 2nd 2122 - Japan's Ecosystem has restabilized September 1st, 2139: Justinian dies, leaving Julius the Second to take the throne. October 15th, 2201: Julius the Second dies, after him two uneventful reigns. March 7th 2225 - Takeshi Minami is Born March 7th 2241 - Takeshi Minami recieves his first Visions March 16th 2243 - Takeshi leads the Kansaijin out of the Kansai Bunker and to Osaka April 26th 2243 - Kansaijin conquer Osaka Castle from a Mutant Tribe. Shogunate of Osaka is proclaimed. June 21st 2245 - Kanto Bunker is opened, The Kingdom of Kanto is founded December 25th, 2255: Julius the Third is crowned Emperor. December 25th, 2265: He begins to retake the Surface world. January 1st, 2266: He slaughters the fake Caliphate over Jerusalem. November 30th 2271 - Takeshi Minami dies, his son Hisoka Minami takes Control of the Shogunate. Feburary 28th 2272 - Hisoka invades Kanto, and annexes all territory save for that around Tokyo.
It is a mix of Futuristic, Steampunkish, and Fallout-like tech, depending on how your civilization developed in the bunker. It is up to you on how advanced it is, but don't make it so strong that it can over power everyone.
