So, as you could have guessed, I'm rewatching a certain series and let me tell you, it is darker than I remember it being when it first aired in second grade. It inspired me to run a game of it, with me playing the Aelita-esque character (and most of the school's faculty) and
@Cinderella Man playing the X.A.N.A of our alternate universe.
The roleplay will start the way the series does, not with you finding the computer and meeting each other, but with the computer and our version of X.A.N.A and Aelita already being known about in the group. We can have a throwback eventually that shows how you all met, but it'll be easier to just jump into it with everyone knowing what's going on.
Without further ado, here is what you need to know that's changed from the show.
[number of players] High schoolers at Kadic Academy in France have stumbled upon a supercomputer and the world known as Lyoko contained inside of it. They found it in a dusty room below an abandoned factory, a few full human skeletons littered around that have now been buried properly just outside school grounds by the group. There is a boy their age, Julius, inside of this world, and he has the power to tame the rogue program known as X.A.N.A who has recently been reactivated with the computer and started affecting the physical world.
The computer, however, comes with a program to turn back time itself and undo the damage that X.A.N.A has caused, and only those who have been to Lyoko or run the computer can remember anything that has happened. The students know that they must do whatever they can to stop X.A.N.A from succeeding at whatever it is planning, and find a way to set Julius free and learn about the origins of this mysterious supercomputer.

A Jeremy-esque character (feel free to PM or post in the thread if you are interested)
At least 3 others (more welcome though)
This roleplay will get decently dark at times, so be ready for some heavy shit.
