Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

Ooo, yay!

Rain Dash gave me an idea in her last OOC post. Hope you all find it as amusing as I did writing it. "Alpha Dog"
“Thank you Press.” She was relieved to find some help. She listened contently as she heard the sound of dog-food being poured into the bowl, then the sound of Carl’s happy chomping. “Does he have water? I’m sorry…” She heard the sound of water as well, then a plate and cup were put into her own hand. Would ask for coffee, no milk or sugar. She heard the word ‘bagel’ in the air, but did not understand its context. “Might I have a bagel please? Is there any butter or jam for it?” She figured it would be easier to ask for something that everyone was already eating. “Thank you very much.” She would have to make him breakfast in the future to return his kindness. (Occasionally she heard noises coming from him. Small clicking noises, or low tones, or a soft ‘whirrrr’. She wondered if the noises had something to do with his power, but did not ask.)

Press had found some strawberry jelly for her bagel. As she ate she tried to ignore Nathan and Cora’s exchange, it made her stomach churn and she was only able to eat half the doughy ring. Magara remained at the counter to eat her breakfast where she easily avoided both Nathanial and Coraline at the table and couch.

On the matter of their physical fitness training Magara did not have anything to say. She might shrug or nod. She assumed that she would be excused from any actual sport or difficult activity, just as she was in her physical education classes at school. Sometimes the teachers would try to get her into something simple like sit ups or push-ups. If she did only a few and stopped no one ever reprimanded her or encouraged her to push her forward. No one had expected much from her.

“Linn, Hello. What were you taking care of?” That train of thought was interrupted as she felt her scarf loosen around her head, then vanish.
Her hair would poof out like a dandelion, perhaps looking a bit ridiculous and lumpy after having been under the scarf. Then Linn carefully gathered it all up in her hands and tied it off in the back. Magara felt a bit exposed, but surprisingly, no one else in the room seemed to have an emotional-reaction to the state of her hair. So, she said “Thanks, It is fine.” She felt it with her hands every so often thereafter, as if checking to make sure everything was still in place.

She tilted her hand, hearing the sound of Linn biting it the apple. “Is that an Apple? Is there another?”

Carl would visit everyone during his ‘morning patrol’. After his official breakfast was done he ‘made the rounds’, sniffing everyone at least once (This was to confirm the identities, health, and general well-being of each squad member, as well as assist in leftover disposal should the soldiers find themselves with any extra food), patrolling the perimeter (to ensure general security and check for bombs that may have been planted the night before), and so on and so forth (He was a very energetic dog).

Carl noticed but was unaffected by the conflict between the two recruits. He knew that the one-who-smelled-like-burning-toast bothered his Dearest Human, but was not deemed an active threat at this time. Their fight was only normal behavior for newly formed squads and packs, they were trying to assert social and physical dominance within their ranks. Thankfully Carl knew that deep down inside he was the Alpha-dog, however his priority mission was, and always will be, Dearest Human. These squabbling pups should have felt lucky that he was out of the contest by default.

Mag @ the ice breakers:

The one thing that will be most apparent during the ice breakers is that Mag is very uncomfortable and very unaccustomed to being the focus of attention. I'm not sure what kind of games they play, but she is one of those people whom, when receiving the talking-stick or it is her turn to speak, though they may have seemed confident right before, and had been sitting their the whole time deciding how to answer the question, suddenly forget their whole life story and what the question even was, seeming to struggle to give the one word answers they manage to reply with. Classic stage fright.

She's from Turkey.
She has lived in Cypress and Istanbul.
"... Um... I don't know... " (The awkward answer to awkward 'what is your favorite color' question. Indirectly indicating that she has always been blind.)
Her favorite food is a Turkish dessert called Güllaç.
She would really know how to talk about her power, Vita might help out?
She would feel more confident answering any questions about Carl:
Carl is a retired military dog and now a service dog
Carl's favorite food is Lamb Kebabs, but really does love all kinds of food.
Carl is colorblind, so he does not have a favorite color either....

Map: Sweet! I'm working on its :3 *channels unrealized interior design dreams into Bap*'

EDIT: *working on post @.@*
Am I the only one who died not like bagels plain? XD

Sweet I'll work on a more detailed map :) thanks guys!
She had not gotten much sleep last night. She had waited until it was late then quietly crept back into the living room. Magara extended her power to make sure that no one was there to see her. “One… Two… Three… Four…” She started with one hand on the wall and measured her footsteps around the perimeter, measuring its size, then she would learn where everything inside was placed. Once she ‘mapped’ the room she would be able to get around quite comfortably, but tonight she nearly knocked over the television, stubbed her toe once, and knocked her knee twice. If she sensed anyone approaching she would quickly head back to her room.

She was dreaming that her and her family were playing all the ‘ice breaker’ games that the team had played last night. Then Vita’s alarm blared in her ears and shattered the fantasy. She clamped her hands over her ears, the blind girl was sensitive to sounds as well as the reactions to the neighbors within her empathetic field. Magara was used to a much gentler alarm named Carl…

Carl sat upright and gave a single warning bark. He dashed out into the hallway to see the source of the noise. He saw Vita, and a few recruits beginning to emerge. Wake-up-noise! In Carl’s experience breakfast was shortly after the wake-up-noise. He dashed back into the room and up onto the bed wagging his tail. He licked Magara’s neck and face to rouse her. He was a morning-dog.

It took her a bit longer than the rest to get ready, but soon she'd have her routine streamlined and she would be as fast as the rest (except for the Blur). Carl was helpful, fetching her things as she needed them. She didn’t have any sporty clothes for training. She wore a long sleeved tunic-length shirt (she didn’t know it but it was white with printed blue flowers), and loose pants (black), she bound up her fluffy hair under a long scarf (robins egg blue, a much different blue than her blouse). After she and Carl were dressed and freshened up they went into the hall and toward the kitchen.

Carl eagerly led the way. Magara had released him from duty, so he immediately found Ming at the kitchen table, sitting squarely beside her he gave her his best doggie-smile and wagged his tail.

Her power would ensure that she would not bump-into anyone, and she thought that her internal-map was good enough to find the kitchen, until she clipped the piano bench with her knee. ‘I thought that was three more steps to the left.’[i/] She thought, disappointed in herself. [i]'Perhaps someone moved it...'

The ice-breaker games and general interaction from the night before helped her learn the names, powers, and voices of her new mates. She could feel where they gathered, and felt various expression of hunger and fatigue rolling around groggily, peppered with satisfaction as food and coffee was found and consumed. She recognized their voices as she drew closer: Bruce, Linn, Stitches, Kyle… the electric guy (Cue sound of blender), Avis, Ming, Ambrose, there were a few others around who weren’t talking.

There was one she could identify with her power, it was the first time she found herself able to do such a thing, and was sure to stay away from him. He was the one who had been hurt last night, she had learned from the teachers that he had not been attacked, but had hurt himself with his power. His name was Nathaniel, and now he was in the middle of the living room area seething and boiling with anger, it bloomed from him. ’Does he always feel like that?

She reprimanded herself for not exploring the kitchen last night. She had no idea where anything was. Her hands found marble counter. She sighed as she smelled fresh coffee and sweet fruits. She turned toward the smell of coffee and with some luck found the machine. She usually had breakfast and tea before coffee, but was unsure of how much time was allotted before training.

She found the coffee machine, and slid her hands on the counter around it. She paused, reasoning with herself. 'Magara, I might look far less foolish asking for help than by groping around like a wild… blind person.'

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but she walked to the nearest person (unsure of exactly who it was). “Excuse me, can you help me find a mug? And a plate? I’m sorry but I do not know where anything is yet. And dog food." She spoke in a soft meek tone. "T-they told me that there would be food for Carl here?" She hoped that whoever she was talking to would understand. "I apologize..."

Or an obstacle course set to 80s music?

I also vote for this option.

@Scarifar In my defense Mag can not see nor sense mechanical things with her powers. lol. She'd be at a pretty big disadvantage against you. You might get more people noticing your characters stuff if you interacted more, I get that he is anti-social, and you do have a lot of posts, but all your posts are him doing his own thing and staying away from the group. Which is fine also... but it's up to you. Hope this doesn't come off the right way, just my polite opinion/observation.

@General assembly. I'm starting to work on my own post ^_^

@GM I was thinking of drawing a map out (I like maps) if that's okay with you. Also are the rooms in any particular order? Might be relevant to my character as the people in the rooms next to her's might be in her empathetic field. :3
That is fine with me to. :) I'm chill any way.
That would be a cool upgrade. :)

Suggestion: maybe she can heal but can't numb pain, that way our powers don't overlap there, and then we would really make a good med team.
