Current I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question. - Harun Yahya

Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

Eye have posted. :D

I will think that as haven Mal and Ada came by canoe we got there first?
The trio reached the city after a full day of travel. Haven was exhausted. The green hue of Mal's skin had given them some trouble at the threshold, but his parents and Haven's own father were known as reputable merchants who had visited the city before... So after a short discussion and a warning not to make any trouble, the guards let them inside the high walls and into saftey.

Haven didn't feel so safe. She was awed and intimidated by the sheer size of the place, she felt claustrophobic among the tightly stacked buildings, overwhelmed by the sheer number of people. She was scared of loosing her friends in such a place, she had no bearing here, could not see the sun to determine even the cardinal directions. If she got lost she would not even be able to find her way to the gate, she thought.

She would cling tightly to her friends, hooking an arm with either Mal or Ada as they moved along.

The other thing that bothered Haven was that, they were let into the city, but once inside everyone seemed to ignore them. In her home village, when something bad happened to someone everyone would extend a helping hand. Last year the white family lost their house to a fire, they did not want for a place to stay or food to eat until the village helped them rebuild. The guards at the gate did not seem interested in their story at all, and would roll their eyes at any mention of monsters. All the strange faces just seemed to slide right over them as if they weren't there.

"Have... H-have either of you been here before?" She felt weak, and had begun to lean on her friends not only for comfort and security, but now to help her stand.
Huzzah! So it shall be!

Let's say that to reach the city was ah... um... a whole day's travel!
Looks good to me ^_^ Shall I post for Lysander also? and his encounter with the eeeeevil queen?
Short post to keep things moving... I have more I can post... but uh... lets decide, I think as we all seem to be at different paces each group should wrap up their 'scene' then time-skip to the city.

What say-ye?
"Don't worry. Mal knows the way. Right?" He had a canoe, he had a plan. Haven was not like Ada, a stranger, she knew this village like the back of her hand. But she knew absolutely nothing of the world beyond it. She had to rely on both her companions, the more worldly Orc and Dwarf.

She followed Mal through the wood, keeping her steps as quiet as she could. "We think it's safe... but... I saw them in the woods before... they might still be around." There was no explanation needed for who 'they' were. The monsters. She hadn't the time to think about what they were, or what they were properly called, what they were made of, where they had come from... no she was to busy surviving to wonder...

Where had they gone?

I'm having trouble picking a picture for Lysander. >.< what do you think?
Name: King Caspian of Narnia
Age: 19
Appearance:
Skills: A charismatic leader well versed in the arts of strategy and warfare. He knows his way around a sword, and has also been schooled in the history of Narnia and its people. He has limited knowledge of that other world that the kings and queens of old had hailed from. He has a thirst for further knowledge of these other worlds, and the untold history and stories of Narnia.
Weaknesses: Curiosity and a headstrong attitude can get the young ambitious prince into trouble. Over his head, he often underestimates his opponents. Thinking that because Narnia and himself are the chosen of aslan nothing can stop them.
History: see books/movies for further details <3

Name: Prince Lysander of Atlantis
Age: 18
Appearance:
Skills: Lysanders main advantage is his own mind. Intelligent and cunning, also slightly telepathic. A power he has had since childhood, it has not been fully developed, but it can not be ignored so easily. He has been trained in the martial arts, and he has a strong and swift physique, but most his advantage comes from being able to anticipate his opponent rather than a true warrior skill set. He is much more of a thinker than a brawler.
Weaknesses: As much as he can use his powers to his advantage, he has reason to be less powerful than he is. He ignored his powers for a very long time, as he was overwhelmed by them. This can still happen if he is not careful, if he leaves himself to open or delves too deeply into the mind or heart of another.
He is also afraid of water.
History: Born the prince of Atlantis. His birth was prophesied, and he was supposed to reign in an era of prosperity with his special gifts. That’s not quite how things panned out. Lysander never wanted for anything, he was your typical spoiled rich prince… with a twist. He had telepathic and empathic powers from a very young age. The court took notice of his ‘special talents’ first as proof of the prophecy, then as a quaint personality quirk, then as something a bit annoying to be brushed off. For young Lysander was seeing into the minds and hearts of adults what no child ought to see, when he tried to warn his father of a conspiracy against him he was reprimanded and treated as though he were only seeking attention. He tried to shut out the voices and the feelings of others, he thought of himself as cursed rather than blessed.

The coupe happened, and Atlantis sunk that same day. Lysander escaped his execution by the aide of a loyalist named Rory. The two floated at sea for ages, and Rory died on that raft. Eventually Lysander washed up on the shores of Narnia.

my sword!
Naira was felt a wellspring of emotion in her belly, or several. Life on the mountain-side with the goats was uncomplicated, it was difficult, yes, but she could always be decisive, the right action was always obvious (Ascend, descend, climb, find food, eat, sleep, brush the fur, find the lost one, etc). It was not so simple when dealing with people, whom she spent much less time with.

Was it curiosity that drew her toward the woman? Naira had met few whom were not of Dan blood. The Dan had always respected the goddess, never harming a woman with child, and unlike what Naira had heard about the barbarian low-land countries Dan women were raised to be strong just as the men were. Yet, what people did this woman belong to, who supposedly were so close to Lithis?

Was it envy? Did she envy that such a thing came easy to this woman, that she had heard the voice of Lithis and knew her will.

Was it a call from Lithis herself? Did Lithis use her gentle strong hand to draw the Dan to her prophetess?

As a Dan, she knew that the Goddess did not reveal herself to everyone nor should she. She would speak with those who were worthy, those who were strong enough to endure her presence and carry her word. Every Dan child learned quickly that if you were not strong enough for your sword you could easily cut yourself upon it.

If this small barbarian woman was strong enough for the Goddess herself, a goat-herder would not be a problem.

“Your audience is thinning, it is not that the Dan do not have the strength to face the invaders and the witch. Should such a course be decided victory will be assured, for we the Dan live by strength. Yet, to turn away from the witch is not a small matter. She has proven herself to the mountain. If you want the faith of the Dan you must do so yourself. Starting with me."

She set her goat down, entrusting it to a capable looking youth whose blue eyes widened as he realized what was about to take place.

“My name is Naira Tupaarnaq Antiman. I would challenge you in a duel of honor. If the Goddess truly favors your word then she shall favor your sword.”

Now, the lowlanders were not accustomed to the ways of the Dan, and did not always understand or accept such challenges. It was considered dishonorable to take advantage of an ignorant enemy in such a way. But, this woman knew their tongue and claimed to know their ways. If she hesitated or faltered it would discredit her entirely. After all, if she knew the Dan she would know that It was only a matter of time before someone would challenge the prophetess.

If she accepted, a crowd would quickly gather, a much larger crowd than she had originally entertained with words alone. If she won ever Dan in this town would know every word that had already left her mouth, and listen to every word she would say thereafter. They would all consider the will of Lithis and her prophetess. If she lost this duel, then her speech would quickly be forgotten as blasphemous words should be.
