Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

Sorry if that was long winded or rambly!

But its cool, we both have a villain and a hero ^_^ I am enjoying how this is going!
Lysanders smile faded. "Well... as they sent me here, so, it would seem that no one keeps me safe."

Yes... I'm on my own. Always have been. It was a hard lesson the young prince learned early. Sure, he was pampered and spoiled as a child, but as soon as he said or did something they didn't like he was shut up or locked up, no one wanted to listen to what he had to say. That made him realize that everyone close to him only did so out of obligation. He could hear their thoughts after-all, he disgusted them. He was told that he was adored by the people and when the revolution happened... well... the people who supposedly adored him tried to kill him.

Titles and power meant nothing. Celine would now know this, her title had earned her exile just as his own had. The Queen offered him land... and he'd once again be hated monarch. Or he could keep sides with Narnia and play in Caspians shadow forever. Caspian might offer him land as well, but, the Narnians did not like him or trust him, the result would be exactly the same. Was one opportunity any better than the other?

Faith. That was all Caspian had. They had a magical summer-land where the trees dance and the animals sang, but they all just seemed to be biding time until a magic talking lion appeared to save them. What made Narnia so different from Mathias? Why would the talking-lion save Narnia rather than Mathias? Paradise Jadis said the word and it was salt in Lysander's ears. Narnia was hardly his paradise, Atlantis had been grander by far, more beautiful, but it was lost forever under the sea.

Magic. The Queen had magic and real power. She turned the whole land to ice with her thoughts. Lysander could not read her mind as he could the others, her heart was cold to his empathy, her motives remained her own. She must be powerful indeed.

"You offer a piece of the world, a fair price for any man... yet... I wish to be more than your puppet or your spy... I'd be your apprentice, and learn the secrets of magic itself, should I be worthy of it."

He had restrained and repressed his own gifts in an attempt to please his family when he was young. That had been a mistake. He had regained a bit of the talent he had shown in childhood... and surely that was only a shadow of his true potential. But he could not do that on his own...

... Perhaps Jadis would not want to offer any other a taste of the power she had earned. Lysander, for once, had no idea how she would react. He remembered when he was young and in his power felt so alone... he had felt alone ever since. Perhaps she felt the same at times, and might prefer the company of someone other than Dumas...

"Is there a way that we might commune? Surely you have some magic trick to suit that purpose. The King of Narnia has my trust, the princess will soon-after. If I could remain in that trust and feed you information, well, that would be most efficient to your cause." He took a step toward her on her throne. His eyes fixed upon her frosty brow, her delicate fingers, her pale cheek. "I shall prove myself to you in this mission, then, I would humble myself before you." He knelt before her icy throne, and leaned forward in a bow, he lifted the hem of her white skirt from the floor and kissed it.

As the vision overtook them, Caspian garbed a hold of Celine least the witch cast some spell to transport them or harm them...

... Instead was only a vision. A terrible vision. His grip on Celine tightened as he saw the animals and people enslaved.

The magic left Caspian feeling cold and empty. His eyes wide and he stared at the sad ghost.

"You have turned against your own sister? Or... perhaps, it was she who turned against you..." Caspian understood that family matters could be complicated, his own uncle nearly had him disposed. He hadn't thought of the Snow-Queen as humane before now, as anything more than a force of icy evil. Yet before him was evidence of her history. Perhaps her sister was the first heart she had broken.

Or, perhaps they were being tricked, some part of Caspian was certain that anyone related to Jadis must be evil themselves.

Yet there was something in her face, in her ghostly eyes, that made Caspian trust her words. Sorrow and Regret."I thank you for your words, kind ghost. May Aslan guide you..." He looked to his sword, a gift from Aslan. "You shall be avenged... Narnia shall be protected... and Mathias redeemed."

As the vision departed, Caspian's arms had loosened around Celine, and slid down her arm to grasp her hand. "I swear to you both by the sword of Aslan."

If what she said was true, then they had to keep faith in Aslan. Surely, Caspian thought, such a thing should be easy...
"Why Narnia? There are many lands upon this world, and from what I hear, many others beyond that." The Queen stepped toward him, Lysander didn't show it, but with each step he took he felt smaller and smaller. "Does some treasure lie within that country? Or is this some ancient grudge breaking into new mutiny?"

With each step she took, he felt colder and colder. Yet, the cold invigorated him, made his cheeks turn pink, his eyes sting, and his fingers tingle.

"And who are you, old wise woman, to think you could satiate my... 'appetite'?" He couldn't help but allow a small smile to curl upon his lip.

Caspian helped Celine onto the horse, after the kiss, he was more than glad to feel her on the centaurs back beside him. Though, he could not forget the purpose of their ride was less than romantic.

He saw the frost on the grass, the animals shied away from frostbite. "The Witche's Magic!" Caspian growled under his breath as he saw his land of spring transforming.

But the witch was not Jadis, Caspian would have recognized her instantly. She had a strange look about her, certainly magic... was she bewitched by magic? or---

Caspian was impressed that Celine showed no fear, she demanded the identity of the intruder, flying from the centaurs back with blade in hand.

Caspian quickly followed, and stepped between the ghost and the girl. She wishes to speak to me, I'll not have Celine harmed in my name...

"What do you mean? Sister? You scorch our shores with frost, do are you her messenger then? I am King Caspian, speak your intent, or suffer upon the blade of Aslan." He had not yet drawn his sword, but held his hand firmly upon it. She spoke in riddles, either because she was an emissary... or sought to distract him from the real danger. He was ready, to parley word or sword with the witch-woman... or her sister, as it were.
Lysander watched the interaction between Dumas and Jadis. She had given him an order, but his will had bended quite easily. An impressionable fellow, he will take the quicker route to reward or action I think. Lysander had interested Dumas, likely as he had seen the princess and all, it had clouded his judgment.

On the other-hand, though Jadis chided her captain (So he was her dog, to be chided but not to be blamed for his own basic nature), she did not seem overly angry or surprised. In fact, she called him a prince... "How do you know of me?" Lysander stepped toward her, squintin g, trying to see her more clearly through her glamor (be it magical or natural beauty). The Narnians had not heard of Atlantis, nor did anyone on Mathias have reason to either. He had not announced himself as a prince, or as anything other than a Narnia. But the Queen's cold gaze was knowing. As if she could see through him for what he truly was in a glance...

... and no one had ever given the prince that sort of feeling before.

"Brave? Foolish?" Lysander shrugged. "Both of these describe base and impulsive traits of men... what I am is interested." He gave the Queen a graceful bow. "I am Lysander. And as you already know I am sent from Narnia to know your plans and intentions... negotiate I suppose..." He trailed off, as if bored for a moment, and found himself studying her frosted brow, her sharp jawbone, her white gown. "What is it that you demand?" It was two questions in one. As the ambassador, what did Jadis demand of Narnia and Mathias?

And, as she spoke of delights, what would she demand there? Lysander was not like young Edward to be lured by candies, or Dumas to be foll low loves folly, if he were to betray Caspian and the others for a new master. It would be entirely of his own power...

... Or so he imagined. He underestimated the power of the great queen. Even as he saw her in all her glory, he foolishly thought, as men often do, that he was the wiser one.

Perhaps the Queen had been right to call him foolish.

Soft, floral, glorious... Caspian was lost in the moment when their lips met. He felt her hand in his hair as she returned the gesture gladly... he closed his eyes and began to slide a hand around her waist...

Then they were interrupted, he straightened as the Centaur neared. His cheeks were red but his eyes were sharp, focused on the news brought with him.

"Attack?" Jadis moved quickly. "Take us there." He and Celine both had live steel still in hand.

The centaur nodded, and Caspian mounted upon him. He turned toward Celine, and held out his hand toward her. "Hurry." As he looked down upon her, he was reminded of the smell of flowers, and was quite sorry they had been interrupted. Yet, he could hardly ignore an outright attack upon the place. It was also likely to be Show Queen's army, so Celine had as much at steak as he did in this war that had only just begun to touch his own land with her cold fingers... more at steak, as her land had already been consumed by ice and winter.

Jadis her name was a curse in his mind.

"Celine." he held out his hand to her, then the Centaur would take them toward their foe.
Haha nice posts everyone!
"Dangerous?" Haven was confused. They had made it to the city, and Mal spoke of finding his family. Hadn't they escaped the danger. "What would be dangerous?" After escaping monsters and fire, if Mal said something was dangerous it must be serious. She took a step closer to him, setting herself between the Orc and the dwarf as they traveled.

The buildings became shorter and shabbier, the frequency of green-tinted skin increased. She looked about warily for the danger that Mal implied.

Mal and his family were the only Orcs that Haven ever knew. She hadn't really thought about it. She was taught to be kind to everyone in the village and help whoever she could. Mal's parents were especially kind to her and the family bought her cabbages often. But now in the city she wondered, why did they all live in one place? Why didn't she see more of them at the cities entrance? Why are their houses so different? Her naieve mind tread upon these questions between wondering about the Danger Mal had warned of.
We had a blast!

Sorry it took so long to get on gear. And sorry about Lysander i'm trying to make him a super tool.
A shadow of a smile flickered across Lysanders face. “Oh?” it wasn’t hard to figure out what kind of ‘fate’ the former captain of the guard had in mind. The man was dripping with envy and lust every time the princess was mentioned, and now that the future was considered there was the pleasant tingling of anticipation. Useful indeed.

Lysander found himself comparing this man to Caspian. Their differences were obvious in mind and body. But each would find a worthy foe in the other should they ever come to quarrel over what they had in common. The girl.

Will Caspian go to war and risk his own country for a girl? Would that make him so different from this man who has betrayed everything he was once loyal to... for a girl?

Lysander also heard the echo of a thought before it manifested in a quickstep to trip up the prince. He didn’t trip as the captain had planned, but he didn’t keep up either, he stood on the spot as the guard wheeled around toward the door. Dumas delighted at first, thinking he had bested the boy, but as Lysander stood still, waiting with his hands folded as Dumas knocked and announced him. Lysander looked at him as he would a servant attending the door. It might remind the captain of what he once was… and what he still was to Jadis. If Lysander had a coin he would have tipped the man to drive the point home, but he didn’t, so he kindly thanked, and breezed by the man toward the new queen of Mathias.

A vision in white. Lysander's eyes widened to behold her. She was different from others, she felt different… and her mind…

was so cold.

~~~
Celine moved swiftly and gracefully and suddenly Caspian found himself nose-to-nose with the princess…. and blade to throat.
He swallowed hard, his brow was moist with sweat, and little tendrils of his dark hair stuck to his brow and were beginning to spiral out of control.
His face was so close to hers, he was stunned. Sure he was shocked that he had lost, but more so, he was struck by her blade and her loveliness. Her wild red hair was like a flaming crown, her lips and eyes smiled at their victory. He was sweating too, the adrenaline pumped in his ears. He wanted to lean forward, right then, and kiss her. Taste her smiling rosy lips with his own… it was only inches away...
She’ll cut me for sure. He thought hazily, aware of the cold steel at his throat. He’d lean forward anyhow, slowly, in that moment death seemed to small a risk to be bothered over. She might slit his throat, or top him otherwise… or maybe… just maybe… she’d allow him to steal this one kiss...
