A little bit.

But truthfully, rather then just reject it outright... I'm happy to sit down and try to make it work. Yes it might require some alterations, but the end result can be a better story.

Yeah I kinda scrapped this idea shortly after I came up with it, and started over completely from scratch. The end result was a Rimworld Crossover, more specifically the Rich Explorer Start, where a wealthy big game hunter from a high tech Glitterworld somehow winds up on Necromunda in the 41st millennium rather than the lawless Outer Rim planet he intended. Of course, he's not defenceless, and came prepared with a few months of food, some weapons, and several pieces of technology that will absolutely get him killed if anyone found out about them. He also did some training, and installed several gene mods before heading off. So he's also a lot more dangerous than a normal human, but not immune to bullets, and currently doesn't have any answers to psychic powers.

Its basically an ilsekai anime but in Warhammer 40k.
I'm looking for a long term partner or possibly even two who are well versed in Warhammer 40k lore, and maybe even make this into an original free to read novel depending on how well it goes.

The general plot of this roleplay is that a long forgotten underground facility the size of a city located out in the ash Wastes has come back online, and a new Abhuman faction called the Avvim steps out onto the surface for the first time. The Avvim's backstory is that they were an independent super soldier project created in an attempt to replace the Men of Iron when Necromunda was first settled, but the facility was abandoned when the Technobility of the Araneus Continuity took over the planet, and the Avvim were placed into stasis before they could be field tested. Now they're on the surface of Necromunda, and have no idea what's out there, but very quickly learn to keep a low profile so the Imperium doesn't come down on their heads. What follows is all kinds of wacky shenanigans as they launch operations to get their hands on new technologies, and try to figure out a way to get off the planet, and go somewhere where the Imperium can't find them.

The Avvim themselves are humans who've been genetically overhauled to be both much better fighters, and able to survive in harsh environments far more easily than normal humans. It would take too long to list all the improvements that were made, but the most important ones are that the Avvim are two to three times more physically capable than a baseline human in all regards, live up to two hundred years, can regenerate lost limbs, heal twice as fast, can clot gaping wounds in just a few minutes, absorb information four times more quickly while growing up, and are all minor psychic blanks because witches were very much a thing at that time. The technology they have access to is roughly on par with the Imperium, though they lack all the more exotic stuff that's out there, but make up for it by understanding how the technology they do have actually works, and they've got a matter printing device that uses power field technology to turn rocks into whatever materials they need.

So yeah, this would be a great way to introduce a newcomer to the setting if it ever is made into a proper story, and introduces a new lore friends faction as well.
