I'm looking for a long term partner with competent writing skills, posts every week or two, is well versed in Deltarune lore and won't make the caracters act completely out of character.

The basic plot is that a character named Joshua, who is from a completely original setting I've come up with, suddenly gets isekai'd into Hometown in the Deltarune world and finds himself standing on Carol Holidays front lawn. Worse yet is that Carol comes out and thinks Joshua is a tresspasser and he has to defend himseelf without causing a scene or worse killing Carol on accident.

What happens after that is Joshua trying to blend into a society that is radically different from the one he grew up in while trying to find a way back home. Major plot points include Joshua interacting with other major characters like Kris and possibly sleeping with Carol if the right criteria are met. Joshua has a thing for bad girls and I have a feeling Carol will like Joshua.

If you're interested just let me know and I'll message you with the background material on Joshua which is like 7k words long.
I'd be interested to see what you have hammered out so far and what you're still work shopping

Alright, I've gotten the first 2.5k words properly down and I'll note them to you.
Aw, dawn. I saw 40k and jumped into this thread.

I'm still working on the story and improving things as I go along. The only thing I'm still struggling with is whether the main character should be a genetically enhanced superhuman or one of the Xenos races I've come up with in the past.

I'd still be interested in doing an RP if you still are.

EDIT: Some ideas I have for roles my partner can play is a captured cyborg iseaki character in the same situation as the MC, an Eldar who is on the planet for whatever reason, or even just some wandering unsanctioned psyker to fill the role of the duos mage.

Here is an Excerpt of what to expect below.

Update: Nevermind. This is now cancelled.

Entry 1

My name is Kane Godfrey and I've taken it upon myself to document the events that transpired after my abduction. I have two good reasons for doing this. The first is having a bunch of booklets printed out so I can just hand them to whoever asks about my past and avoid the hassle of repeatedly having to explain things to random gawkers from off the streets. The second is to provide a record of what happened. That way if the worst case scenario happens there'll be a record of what happened and anyone who finds this can potentially get revenge for my poor damned soul.

For starters I'm obviously not native to Necromunda or likely even this reality for that matter. I was abducted from another planet called Earth by a godlike being, given the option to choose both my race and technology tree, then dumped into the middle of nowhere with nothing to my name but a few weapons.

This might come as a surprise to whomever reads this, but I was originally a normal human back then. Which was a huge problem because I didn't know what kind of world I was going into at the time, but it was a safe bet to say it was going to be incredibly hostile and I was just an ordinary, totally mentally stable, guy from off the streets. As you can tell by now, I have no problem committing mass murder in self defence, but my human body was simply not up to the task of what was needed.

So I hatched a cunning plan. I selected the Brotherhood of Nod tech tree and, after a brief conversation with the mysterious deity, was granted permission to build whatever body that could plausibly be done with this technology. Perfect.

I'm not going to explain everything about my new body because I'd wind up writing an entire book. So I'll just give a very abridged rundown now and explain things in further detail as the story goes along.

Lets start off with the basics. First you have a heavy duty regenerative Scrin Alloy skeleton with inhumanly powerful biomechanical synthetic muscles grafted on and a Ghost in the Shell style brain case that has mostly minor augmentations. The internal body houses various mechanical "organs" that fulfill a wide variety of purposes including a very efficient bio fuel reactor and even an internal fabrication system. The entire body is encased a thick, black, tough, technorganic, self repairing synth skin covering with naturally growing hair on the head which has a normal skin tone and almost completely human looking face. Other features include an armoured outer hard shell, blocky data horns where the ears would be, a thick bulletproof visor to protect the eyes and a Lazarus cloaking system. The entire body is largely self maintaining thanks to specialized nanotech produced by the previously mentioned organs and can repair all but the most catastrophic damage. Lastly the whole rig stands approximately two meters tall, weighs like eight hundred pounds and has a fully functioning dick. Because I'll be damned if I spend the rest of my existence without one of those.

Yeesh, even the super abridged version is long and dry sounding.

Anyways, after all that was done I woke up in an ashen wasteland that smelled like hazardous and broken dreams. I knew right off the bat I’d wound up in some nightmarish dystopic hellscape.

It just took me a short while to fully reconcile how awful this place really was.

When Kane Godfrey regained consciousness he instinctively gasped for air and while he could breathe, his lungs didn't feel even remotely right and his heartbeat simply wasn't there anymore. This prompted another series of knee jerk reactions as his body vainly tried to react to the changes it had gone through in a futile feedback loop. This resulted in him simply laying there and violently convulsing for who knew how long until he eventually calmed down enough to start thinking rationally and process the world around him.

Now relatively lucid again, Kane found himself lying on his back with his face looking at a sky so choked with pollution that the sun was barely visible through the blackened clouds. The air stank to high heaven of ashes and industrial pollutants with the only audible sounds being the faint howling of the wind. As he became more aware of his surroundings he noticed just how completely and utterly wrong his body felt. It was like he'd been transformed into a completely different entity with no time given to acclimate to the radical changes and then thrown into a hostile environment.

Which was exactly what had happened.

Seeing that there was nothing to gain from just lying there, Kane slowly got to his feet and tested his new body. He stumbled and nearly lost his balance a few times, like any newborn that was just learning to walk, but he was soon able to move around competently enough to not suddenly topple over.

Despite being in one of the most terrifying situations imaginable, Kane couldn't help but feel somewhat proud of that. He was only in his new body for a few minutes and already walking around like a pro.

Scanning the terrain around him, all Kane could see in every direction were endless fields of rock and ash with no signs of civilization in sight. In fact, now that he was paying attention, his vision seemed to be a lot clearer than it should have been. With a little concentration he could make out the minute cracks in rocks hundreds of meters away as if he were right next to them. He tried doing the same with his other senses and realized, to his absolute giddy joy, that yes he could. Kane could filter out specific sounds and massively amplify others or simply block them out altogether. The same went for his sense of smell which he immediately dialed down so the arcid stench of the wasteland wouldn't be so distracting.

Kane was about to investigate his surroundings further when a heads up display flashed into his vision and startled the ever loving hell out of him. He quickly realized it was because he had a visor going across his peripheral vision. After a few seconds of calming his nerves and messing around a bit he discovered, much like his senses, that he could control what was being displayed. He kept the basic mini map and ammunition counter combo for now. He could always customize things later.

After that little surprise Kane inspected his new body next and was pleased to discover he was now a two meter tall giant. His new cybernetic form was covered in heavy duty armour plating that was magnetically clamped directly onto his frame and the visible skin he could see underneath was pitch black with a slight sheen. From what he could see his physical build was slightly above average but incredibly well toned, and upon closer inspection, discovered he now had a finely sculpted six pack on display below his chest armour.

Without even thinking Kane reached behind himself and found a rock solid and perfectly shaped ass that would catch the eye of any woman with good taste.

Despite being abducted from his life by an eldritch god, wilfully transforming himself into a transhuman cyborg and then being dropped into an alien world he knew nothing about, the kind of situation that would have any sane man suffering an existential crisis, Kane found himself grinning widely and really hoping he could find a dance club.

Because he was sexy as hell now.

Kane's spirits rose even further when he discovered his trusty USMC Modern Combat Knife and Mark V LAR Grizzly Win Mag lying near his feet along with several clips of ammunition. He was an American citizen after all and it just wouldn't be right if he didn't exercise his right to bear arms.

Picking up the USMC Modern Combat Knife first, Kane looked at his reflection in the polished steel blade and barely recognized what he saw.

The stranger staring back at him was a boyish looking young man with pale skin and a face full of freckles. But the cuteness didn't stop there. He had full head of messy brown hair, green eyes, a small perky nose and a naturally innocent looking expression.

Aside the bulky data horns where the ears would normally be, this guy looked like the dictionary definition of an anime Bishōnen.

Kane immediately took back what he thought earlier about any woman with taste being attracted to him. With “this” body and “that” face any woman who wasn't the most die hard man hating lesbian was going to be ogling him. Probably a small number of men too.

This mood was dampened when Kane realized he had no way of practically carrying these items. So he ultimately had to carry everything in his hands.

Once he found civilization his first priority was going to be getting some travel supplies.

With everything of value now in hand, Kane looked up at the sun, did a few calculations and started walking east. He didn’t know if there was anything in that direction, but figured he’d find something eventually if he walked far enough. There had to be something on this planet or else he wouldn’t have been sent here. Right?

As Kane walked, he began fiddling around with his heads up display again. He vaguely remembered something about a tutorial when designing this body and maybe he’d find it in a menu.

I'm looking for a long term roleplay partner who is well versed in 40k lore to fill the role of mostly Rogue Traders while I play the original OC Xenos race I came up with during my free time and try my very best not to get them killed. This RP takes place in the Calyx Expanse a few centuries before the Angevin Crusade shows up so the OC Xenos will probably have to make a run for it in the long run in order to survive.

The original OC race in question are known as the Nephites. Long story short this race was originally enslaved by the Yu'Vath and modified to be both fighters and labourers but the Nephites eventually overthrew their masters and are now independent and largely isolationist. They suffered a number of attacks from other hostile factions over the years and have a powerful grid as a result but aren't particularly interested in expansion. Appearance wise the Nephites look a lot like a bigger and more heavily built version of the Drow from DND. They also have an army of Servitor like robots that look like the Supersoldaten 1960 from Wolfenstein.

Here's a preview of the RP below.

Chapter 1

Calyx Expanse, Tabula Rasa System, Planet Sheol

Year 62 of Millennium 39, Age of Plunder

The lone male Nephite watched from the observation spire, the glowing yellow irises of his eyes, usually alight with the excitement of discovering some fantastical new stellar phenomenon were now hardened stone. The scarlet sun of Sheol painted the horizon in brilliant hues of red and black, a daily spectacle the Nephites usually found comforting.

Today, however, the vibrant display was overshadowed by a more unsettling phenomenon in the star-strewn void above. The anomalous blip on their long-range scanners had initially been dismissed as solar flares or some other astronomical quirk. But the blip had resolved itself into something far more tangible and far more worrying: Three vessels, immense and radiating an energy signature unlike anything the Nephites had ever encountered. The lead vessel, a baroque monstrosity of gothic architecture and brazen display of power, dwarfed its two escorts, frigates that nonetheless bristled with weaponry and an aura of cold merciless brutality.

These ships were not of Nephite design. They were not even of the known factions of the surrounding regions, as catalogued by the Nephites limited star charts, painstakingly compiled over centuries of patient observation. These were… Foreign. Alien in a way that transcended mere biological differences. The Nephites were a species of dark grey skinned humanoids inhabiting heavily fortified obsidian palace cities in the most temperate zones of Sheol. Their physical forms, great in stature, heavily muscled, mildly psychically active and powerful enough that even the frothing green skinned barbarians perpetually infesting Sheol's dark forests could easily be dealt with, assuming they didn't just send in their robotic servants instead. They were a people of inward perfection, of slow, deliberate progress. Conflict with other sentient species was now rare, innovation and curiosity, while present, was tempered by a cautious respect for the unknown. Any new invention underwent an extensive process of testing and refinement before being released into society, both to ensure its safety and prevent unnecessary waste. But now the unknown had arrived on their doorstep, clad in armour plating and powered by massive energies they could scarcely comprehend.

The High Council, a collective of the wisest and most senior Nephites from across Sheol, had convened mere hours after the ships arrival. Debate had raged, echoing through the Council chambers in shouts and declarations. Some argued for immediate retaliation and the activation of the systems strategic defence grid, borderline obsolete relics of a long-forgotten time period. Others advocated for complete isolation, cloaking their cities, silencing their communications and hoping the newcomers would simply pass them by. The Lord High Xenologist, the designated First Contact Specialist, had argued for a different approach: Cautious observation, followed by tentative communication. While the risks were undeniable, the potential rewards – the knowledge, the technology, the perspective of another entirely new civilization – were too significant to ignore. After hours of deliberation, the Council had reluctantly agreed, swayed by the Xenologist's calm rationale, but mostly by the inexplicable backing of the Astral Seers Guild, who up until recently, had simply ignored the various goings on outside of their temple fortress.

The reasoning behind the Astral Seers sudden interest in politics after centuries of self imposed isolation was made known when they announced that this current era of stability and peace was coming to an end and the mysterious newcomers were simply heralds of things to come. They also cautioned that while these current visitors could be reasoned and negotiated with, most of their kind will not be so rational and do everything in their power to destroy the Nephites simply because they existed. The Astral Seers then finished with an even more ominous warning that they were going to have to tread very carefully when dealing with these beings in the centuries to come or risk the very real possibility of being annihilated.

After the Astral Seers announcement, the High Council got to work and that was that. There was no arguing against or even questioning of a seer guild who's predictions had a 100% success rate. If they said something was going to happen, it always happened and anyone who ignored their warnings usually wound up dead.

If they were lucky.

Now, as the lead vessel began to decelerate, entering into a stable orbit around Sheol, the Xenologist activated the planetary comm-array and transmitted the carefully compiled first contact package. Most of the information sent was what the Lord High Xenologist deemed safe for this type of situation such a hopefully translatable version of their language, basic cultural information, an abridged version of their history and while information was given on their military capabilities, most of it was massively downplayed as a precaution. Anything permitting to their former Yu'Vath overlords, the Chaos insurrections or the Nephites psychic abilities was omitted completely. There was no telling how the visitors would react to that so they played it safe for now.

After sending the transmission followed by several hours of nerve wracking silence the Nephites finally received a response “Greetings, inhabitants of this system. We are the Indomitable Spirit, a vessel of the Rogue Trader Lucian Atreus Marius, under the authority of the Imperium of Man. We come in peace, seeking trade and… Enlightenment.”
My original suggestion sill stands. Zaine is going to need someone from around the local neighbourhood to explain to him how the power structure of the hive cities works, the nature of the various gangs, where all the secret passages into the Underhive are, and what sorts of threats to watch out for. Plus he can fill the role of the duos caster which is the one thing Zaine can't do.
Yeah I don't know anything about Pokemon. Well I actually do. I just don't know the names or abilities of the 9000+ pokemon in the series or any of the million power stones, healing items, mega evolutions and everything else in that series. Maybe just have Jasper Coldwell Creek be an unsanctioned Psyker who is themed after a Pokemon Trainer? That way introducing him to the plot can be very easy by simply having him be the sole survivor of an Ash Waste Nomad raid on Zaine's base, and that's only because Zaine wants information.
Alright, my potential partner is clearly dealing with his own problems so I'm now looking for one or two potential partners once more. I've also properly thought out how this RP is going to start, and a proper system of progression.

Here is my characters backstory.

Zain Vandran is a Gittite born, and raised on the high tech Glitterworld of Ashod. He stands roughly nine feet tall, looks a bit like Kris from Deltarune, and is more jacked than Rambo. He was originally the host of his own very successful hunting show that can only be described as a deranged cross between The Crocodile Hunter and FPS Russia. Unfortunately his show was cancelled after its 12th season, and he was left with a vast amount of wealth, but not much to do with it. That was until he decided to do what numerous groups of Gittite had done before him, and travel to distant worlds on the Rim to relive the glory days of back when Ashod was just another lawless wasteland filled with monsters to fight. But he wasn't stupid about it, and took a few decades worth of various training courses on wasteland survival, and might have slightly abused the skill-trainer technology to ensure the lessons stuck. He also purchased all of the necessary supplies he'd need, and got himself an utterly epic refurbished orbit to surface drop pod that would act as his base of operations once he landed. Its a lot like an MCV from Command and Conquer now that I think about it.

The journey goes well except for the simple fact that Zaine has now woken up on the wrong planet, which in this case is one of the few habitable areas of the Ash Wastes of Necromunda. The original plan of starting his own country is still a go, and he gets to work on that. The Ash Waste Nomads quickly become a constant, and impossible to get rid of problem. Thankfully Zaine has turrets to deal with them, and he starts exploring his surroundings. After numerous encounters with various Underhive factions, and a few other things he can't fully explain, he soon starts wondering just where or even when he is.

The Gittite themselves are Xenohuman super soldiers created specifically to thrive in the harsh radiation blasted wastelands of Ashod, and crush the various warring factions to pave the way for the worlds recolonization, and development into something resembling civilization. Despite the colonial expedition forces just barely managing to keep the Gittite under control, they took out all of the other factions without too much trouble allowing Ashod to be colonized, and eventually made into a Glitterworld. Unfortunately the Gittite were still around in large numbers, and found themselves discontent with the whole 'world peace' thing, not to mention the complete lack of monsters to kill. Many grew fed up with the way things were, and travelled to lawless worlds on the Rim in search of purpose, usually becoming famed warlords as a result.

Here is a list of the Gittite's genetic traits. Yes I used a bunch of mods, but the game says this race is street legal so I'm going with it.

Jotun Frame, Tough Skin, Crushing Strength, Grudgy, Tactless, Long Living. Otherworldly, Innate Bloodlust, Deadly Raid Presence, Strong Stomach, Super Immunity, Suerclotting, Fast Wound Healing, Fast Growing, Genetic Stability, Psychically Deaf, Unhappy, Cold Tolerant, Heat tolerant, Psychically Deaf, Tox Resistance, Aggressive, Rowdy, Agile Fighter, Unruly, Robust, Early Maturity, Multiple Offspring, Short Pregnancy, High Libido, Fertile, Straight, Dominant Genes, Attractive, Red Eyes, Standard Body, Pale Skin, Red Eyes, Abrasive, Dark Vision, and Super Endurance.

Edit: Final version of the Gittite Xenotype has been upgraded to Jotun Frame, and added Psychically Deaf trait. Very physically large, and powerful. But also can't produce psykers, and are hard to control.
Is this still recruiting, im up for hammering out any lumps in the story... Necromunda is neccesserally over the top.

Yes. I was just about to post a reply saying that the other guy was clearly busy with other stuff, and that I was still looking for an RP partner. I was also in the process of typing out a properly thought out starting scenario for my Rimworld character that would have a somewhat natural progression like in the game. I'll post everything once I've gotten some rest.
Fair enough. Sounds like fun.

What gene mods did he have?

The character I've come up with is called Zain Vandran, and I've ultimately settled with making him one of the countless custom Xenohuman races I've created over the years. I also had a bunch of mods installed when I made this race, but I didn't use any of the stupidly overpowered game breaking stuff, and made a relatively simple, and street legal, according to the game anyways, warrior/survivor faction called the Gittite.

The list of genes goes as follows: Tough Skin, Crushing Strength, Grudgy, Tactless, Long Living, Innate Bloodlust, Deadly Raid Presence, Strong Stomach, Strong immunity, Fast Wound Healing, Superclotting, Fast Growing, Genetic Stability, Cold Tolerant, Heat Tolerant, Tox Resistance, Aggressive, Agile Fighter, Unruly, Robust, Early Maturity, Multiple Offspring, High Libido, Fertile, Straight, Dominant Genes, Pale Skin, Abrasive, Dark Vision, and Super Endurance. Powerful, but far from invincible, and with some noteworthy drawbacks.

As for this characters starting supplies, I'm going to go with mostly standard stuff one would expect, along with a few unique additions like a man portable military grade supercomputer filled with whatever knowledge could be downloaded from public servers, a high tech nanotech recycler, and a really advanced man portable 3D printer.

Edit: Yeah, I'm starting to think I should have this guy start on a feudal world or something similar since I want him to get off at some point.

Edit 2: I'm back from work, and I've properly thought out Zain Vandran's profile, the origins of the Gittite, and his equipment load out.

Zain Vandran is a Gittite born, and raised on the high tech Glitterworld of Ashod. He is six, and a half feet tall, 187 years old, looks a lot like Van pelt from Jumanji 1995, but is in the prime of his life thanks to Ashods rejuvenation technology, and looks more jacked than Rambo. He wears a suit of tan coloured flak armour with a pith helmet, and a dark red cape. But he wasn't stupid about it, and took various training courses on wasteland survival, and might have slightly abused the skilltrainer technology to ensure the lessons stuck. He also purchased all of the necessary supplies he'd need, and got himself an utterly epic refurbished orbit to surface drop pod that would act as his base of operations once he landed.

The Gittite themselves were super soldiers created specifically to thrive in the harsh radiation blasted wastelands of Ashod, and eliminate the various warring factions to pave the way for the worlds recolonization, and development into something resembling civilization. Despite the colonial expedition forces just barely managing to keep the Gittite under control, they wiped out all of the other factions without much trouble, allowing Ashod to be resettled, and eventually made into a Glitterworld. Unfortunately the Gittite were still around in large numbers, and found themselves discontent with the whole 'world peace' thing, not to mention the complete lack of monsters to kill. Many grew fed up with the way things were, and wound up travelling to lawless worlds on the Rim in search of purpose, usually becoming famed adventurers as a result.

The drop pod Zain is using is actually an updated version of the orbit-to-surface military bases his ancestors used when they first landed on Ashod. This 110 meter tall craft has 3D fabricators, defensive turrets, a miniature water treatment facility, crew quarters, cargo bays, storage tanks, a high end supercomputer, a nanotech recycler, and all of the other essentials Zain would need to start his own country. Its almost like a suped up version of the MCV from Command and Conquer.
