They begun their watch on the rooms by starting with the closest room. It was definitely a room of high class due to its flawless features and expensive décor. He wondered if all people of high class lived like this. As soon as Giichi mentioned that if he wanted to get on Yamato's good side, he would have to show him his worth. That caused Gin to shoot Giichi an icy glare. It wasn't directed at him but at the comment itself. Show him my worth? He isn't the Mizukage or the Hokage or a fucking jounin. I don't have to prove shit to him. He's a spoiled brat with a fucking superiority complex and I cannot stand that about people like him." Anger could definitely be heard in Gin's voice especially towards the end which had a bit of an edge to it. He turned away from Giichi and shook his head. His eyes no longer contained anger but confusion, trying to comprehend why he would have to prove anything to that guy or why anyone would want to look up to him. I don't know what you see in him. I don't know what anyone sees in him." At least this topic changed quickly when Giichi brought up tradition.

"Tradition huh? He placed his on his chin and his index finger underneath, in a sort of thinking gesture. Wouldn't really know too much about tradition. It's not like my family has ties back to the era of the 4th Shinobi War...well at least from what I know. Never really had a chance to talk to my father or mother about our family history." He eyes saddening a bit and his tone showed it. His voice softened a bit to almost a whisper. Whether or not Giichi heard he didn't care. "Kinda wish I had though." He thought to himself for a moment before turning to Giichi with a faux eye smile, trying to hide his emotion. "Would be pretty cool if I was related to like one of the old seven swordsmen of the Mist or like a Mizukage or something." He gave off a light chuckle with a genuine smile. That was something that he would like to know. He turned to face Giichi and crouched down low and deepened the tone of his voice and gave it a slight rasp to it. He gripped his the handle of his blade with a reverse grip while holding up his free hand in a fake single hand seal. "I am Gin Kakiyama, one of the Mist's Seven Swordsmen and descendent of Mangetsu Hozuki. Prepare yourself Giichi, for I will end your life with a single strike." He waited a moment for Giichi's reaction before standing up with a laugh. His eye smile lightening to something warmer. "A descendent of one of the swordsmen. Then again, Mangetsu didn't have kids so that wouldn't work...hahaha!"
