Team Jun: Gin Kakiyama, Somewhere near Tonaka Castle

Gin had shielded Chihiro with his body from some of the debris as Jun handled most of it. A few chunks impacted his back as expected from a blast from the infamous Shibuki blade. He turned to face the intruder with a glare that represent both fear intensity. He may not have known who the man was aside from his introduction, but with him wielding Shibuki, there was no denying it, that was "The Drunkard" Yopparai, one of the seven swordsmen of the mist, someone who should not be taken lightly.

"Mister Gin!"
"All ready on it." He muttered to himself. He had an idea of what he was dealing with. He immediately put up his Hidden Mist as thick as he could get it while Jun took Chihiro and got her out of there. The mist would bring it vision range to about 8 inches as the mist stretched around the house and over to a few nearby alley ways. He withdrew two kunai wrapped with explosive tags that he threw in the direction where he saw Yopparai before he disappeared, hoping they either made contact with him directly or in front of him. With that he followed suit like Jun while using his silent killing technique to hide the sound from his movement as he escaped through the window that Jun had exited from. Gin hadn't looked behind him as he escaped but only in the direction of where Jun had went off in. With this he spoke quietly into the mic low enough for only his team to hear.

"Jun you already know this but I'm going to say this anyway. Get Chihiro-sama out of here as quickly as you can and don't fucking worry about me. I'll try to hold them off if need be. I don't know for how long, but whatever time I can give you, use it well...She was right Jun... I'm a failure. I shouldn't be a ...But I'm going to make it up to her...One way or another...Gin out."

It was only a last resort but if it came to it he would give his life for his comrades. His gaze harden in front of him as he ran through the mist placing his hands together he made three water clones, and quickly put a henge over the two to make them look like Jun holding Chihiro as the clones disappeared into the alley that led to a street opposite of them. Gin would follow a safe distance behind the real Jun and Chihiro as a defensive measure against the drunkard and an unknown target that he had only glanced at. It would only be time until those to caught up but when they did he would be ready.

Gin stands around 6'0" and at 162lbs. He has a lean but muscular build showing that he had intense training. His Hair is long and white and kept in a ponytail. His eyes are separate colors. His left eye is white while his right is ice blue. His face is kept hidden behind a black mask outlined by what appears to be bone along the top, bottom and down the center which is accompanied by wrapping around his neck. He wears ninja mesh under a black and grey camo tactical vest. His lower torso he wears black and grey camofluage pants with black sandals. On his days off the mask is not present and he is usually seen in his black sandals, dark grey shorts that reach down slightly below his knees and a white button up shirt.

【Personality】
Gin is a bit of an introvert unless you can get close to him in which case he can be a handful. He has a perverted side which he really doesn't mind showing which is the reason why women can't stand him and he comes home in bruises. He tends to overthink sometimes and can be arrogant in his judgment but this is a quirk of his that he tries to manage. He likes keep a hand on his blade's handle as a safety habit. He like to have fun when he can but usually his form of fun is training. He will feel uncomfortable if people stare at him but other wise will try to smile. When things go wrong he tends to calm down and try to analyze the situation before continuing but if it becomes to much he will overthink it.

【History】
Gin was a good kid when he was 5. Respectful to adults and friendly to his peers. His father was an ANBU in the Mist while his mother worked at the hospital as a medical ninja. There were days when both his parents weren't home to help him train for the academy but rather at work. In these cases he would go to a friend-of-the-family's house to train. Most of the time it was another ANBU or Jounin house but it was training nonetheless, it was something that he enjoyed. He also loved women, something his father loved too. His father never cheated on his wife but would make comments about other women that would get him in trouble. Sadly though, Gin had picked up on this.

Around the age of 9 he had entered the academy years in the academy were relatively easy as far as combat training but he lacked the academic ability. He would ask for help from fellow peers and teachers on certain things. It would take him time but he would eventually understand what was being asked. His life took a turn for the worst one night around the age of 13. He was home when his parents were arguing about a mission that his father was going on the next day. He asked what was going on and his mother could only cry. His dad walked over to him and handed him his headband telling him that "I am proud of you Gin, you're becoming a remarkable ninja, almost as good as your old man. Someday you'll surpass me and I'll be there to see it."

Graduation day came and everyone's parents were there except for him. His mother had taken time off for his graduation but his father was out on a mission. It was towards the end of the graduation when an ANBU member approached Gin's mother and whispered something to her in which she fell from her chair sobbing. He didn't realize it at the moment but he had lost his father that day during the mission. The once open and friendly boy became more quiet and introverted. He would still talk to his friends but not as much. His training however never stopped but in fact increased significantly. When he made chuunin his mother pulled him aside before and handed him his father's blade as a gift. "Your father would want you to have this." With this his training increased even further as it was a reminder of what his father said. By age 19 he was known through his peers as an amazing ninja who could surpass his father if he kept at it.

【Family ties】
His family life was enjoyable and had caring parents, there were times that they would argue but it was over important things like missions affecting the future or finances. His father was a bit of a perv which he picked up on so it was no surprise that he was caught peeking into the women's bathhouse. When his father died he was a bit of a wreck, nothing that couldn't be overcome but still did its damage.

He has a unique balance of Taijutsu with Kenjutsu but he has mastered an art form that encompasses both his swords and his taijutsu skills he calls the Dancing Blade Technique. He had also learned a second style from his father before he died called the Crimson Mist Dance. He doesn't use this often but is efficient when he does. His ability to utilize his ninjutsu skills is great. He is well balanced in his actions on the battlefield.

Description:
This jutsu is meant to work in conjunction with the hidden mist jutsu. Once the user inflicts damage on an opponent, mostly laceration like wounds, the mist begins to absorb the blood and chakra of its victim, turning the mist red, hence the name. By the enemy’s chakra being absorbed into the mist, it increases its cloaking efficiency rendering sensor types or those with visual kekkei genkai almost useless as it acts like a jammer. As long as the enemy bleeds, the red mist will stay intact. However if the bleeding stops within a span of a minute, the red mist returns to its original mist state, reducing camouflage capabilities.

Sends an electrical current through wire to target. Mostly used in conjunction with ninja wire and/or water clones. By extending wire along a wet or moist battleground, Gin is able to send a strong electrical current through the wire across the “grid”. In order for it to properly work, there must be some water or moist area around the targeted area of effect. It is possible to use this technique without the use of water however the effectiveness of it is not as adequate.

Description:
Sukaikatta is a chakra blade meant to channel lightning and water chakra. Its blade must remain wet or in its sheath. As it is drawn, the friction from the blade against the inner parts of the sheath begin a spark that helps increase its cutting strength. By keeping the blade wet, it gives its damage capabilities an increase even for simple cuts. However in order for it to be used the way it was made the blade must be wet and/or drawn a certain way by pressing the blade up on the sheath throughout the drawn.

【Fighting style】
Chokashi is considered one of the few heavy hitters of Konaha thanks to his style which can be considered Shock and Awe. His style encompasses brute force with a mixture of agility and speed, which for most in the Akimichi clan, is fairly hard to do however his father and his closest friends helped him accomplished this through extensive and intense training regiments, some of which would last into the next morning. His calm nature and ability to endure a lot of pain thanks to his tolerance he built during his years in the academy and in the Akimichi compound allows him to take massive amounts of pain and inflict just as much back. As an Akimichi, he holds large reserves of chakra due to their eating habits and how they use their calories to convert to food.

Description:
The user builds up a his chakra into the center of his palm and forms a bright gold aura that outlines the center of the palm in a swirl pattern with lines that run up each finger, forming into small swirls. As the palm is thrust into an opponent, the chakra build up is release in the form of a giant bell with a sound that some say resembles that of 1000 gongs being hit at once. This attack is known to cause massive structural and natural damage as well as stop squads in their tracks. One could describe it as a combination of the Resengan and the Hyuuga's gentle fist palm strike.

【Personality】
Because of his status as an Akimichi, an heir nonetheless, he does hold himself highly however he does not let that get in the way of his friendships or interactions with others as seen in his humbleness and hospitality. He is usually very easy to get along with, even with those who have a more...abrasive personality. He likes to poke fun at others' problems but nothing in a demeaning manor, mostly out of fun. Chokashi is a protective individual and has a need to make sure the others around him are safe physically, emotional or spiritually. However he doesn't tolerate disrespect to him or those around him, especially when it comes to his family name. Being called fat or anything about his weight does not bother him however talking about his family name in his eyes is considered fighting words. He believes in Naruto Uzumaki's nindo way, "Never break a promise" and holds this to a high standard which can also make him appear stubborn at times, however to those that know Chokashi well, this is when he is serious. When a situation becomes life or death or just tense, his usual happy go lucky attitude is replaced with an eerie quietness and a for gaze. His stance changes from a loose feel to something more sturdy but battle ready.

【History】
At a young age, like all Akimichis, Chōkashi was teased about his weight. the first few years were a bother since he didn't understand why he was being bullied. It was something however he later learned after graduation to embrace thanks to his father teaching him about how an Akimichi gets their strength and abilities from their weight and would show the boy through training what he meant. His mother, a kind, gentle soul taught him how to cook at a young age, since it was expected that not only did the women know how to cook but the male as well. The better the cook, the better the relationship would be. With this, Chokashi would offer the few friends he had from the academy over to their monthly cookout which to his friends was "overwhelming" thanks to the abundance of food. This however only helped add to his bullying later because of the other families who were invited, some of their kids being the ones that teased him in school.

Later in life after graduation, when he was put in his team. He was put into a team of former "bullies", much to Chokashi's dislike. They would go about like any normal team as genin, completing menial tasks but what made it difficult at first for Chokashi was that his teammates would not give him the chance to actually show his worth. So one day during training he vowed to prove to them hpw strong he truly was in the Chuunin exam. Most laughed at him but he swore on his families honor and his own life, to him and later to many, that would show when he was truly serious about what he said.

The chuunin exms had rolled by and the first round went by with some complications that almost cost him and his team advancement. The second part of the exam, the fights, were a bit of a challenge to Cho because of how intense some of the fighters were. Many were surprised that Cho could last this long however his father had proclaimed that whatever Chokashi put his mind to he could accomplish. It was in the final exams where he proved just that by defeating a Hyuuga with his on Akimichi move the Buddhist Palm. Many were shocked that someone like him could even pull it off but that was the moment many changed their opinion about him. From there, he had quickly gained friends, many of them he considered family. He vowed to them all that he would protect every last one of them, even if it cost him his life.

【Family ties】
Because of the Akimichi's history in Konaha and the ninja they were consistently paired with, their main ties are with the Yamanaka Clan and the Naru Clan, both of which had supplied great ninja for great teams as seen with the Choj-Ino-Shika team back in the days of Naruto. They also have gained strong ties with the Uzumaki clan, the Inuzuka clan and the Hyuuga clan however not as strong as say the Uzumakis. Minamoru clan are only tied together through business as they offer the Minamoru armor and custom made MREs and other small supplies for their superstores.

Description: Tengoku no Bunki, also known as Heaven's Branch, is an 7ft bamboo bo staff carved from one of the most dense trees in the forest near Konaha, bored out and filled with chakra infused metal. Its neck is semi thin while either side ends in a heavy knot. This bo staff, as heavy as it may seem is actually quiet light and very manageable on the field. It's ability is to transfer some of the users chakra into each end and release with concussive force.

【Dreams and fears】
Less of a dream and more of what he tries to do everyday, he attempts to help everyone he can with the promise of being there for them. As far as fears he has no tue fears besides a horrible agonizing death. Should he die, he would want it to be quick.

He began to make his way down the staircase after he had shut the door to Fi's room. He was mentally drained from what occurred and just moved on instinct as he approached the staircase. Gin had expected to see Chihiro or Jun to be at the bottom of the staircase but instead it was barren minus the two dead guards. He leapt off the top step as he heard over coms Jun warning him of the incoming reinforcements and the alternate exit. As his jump brought him closer to the ground he applied chakra to his legs and fell into a crouched position before springing back up and jumping forward, kicking himself off the wall in front of him and to the left, out towards the hallway in the direction. It didn't take long for him to find it, however, he wasn't in the clearing yet.

As he made his way out the alternate exit, he could only see where Jun and Chihiro had gone to before seeing a bright flash promptly followed by an incredibly loud boom. He wasn't close enough to be blown away by the explosion but enough so that he was hit with the shockwave that immediately followed the flash. He was hurled some ways in the direction of his teammates. Thankfully however, the distance and air that he had gotten from the blast was enough for him to adjust his trajectory towards a building 3 doors down from where Jun and Chihrio had taken shelter. It wasn't going to be a perfect landing but it sufficed. He landed feet first to break most of the momentum before losing his footing as the rest of his body impacted. Gin shielded himself for the far as the ground came up to meet him. With a groan he slowly began to stand up, shaking off the small dirt and debris from the explosion. Quickly Gin brought his hands together and put up a henge and making his way up to the house.

Once Gin was inside, he turned to face the door and closed it, taking off his henge. He stared at the door for a moment, trying to comprehend all that had happened. But that was cut short however to the sounds of what seemed to be Chihiro in pain. He whipped his head around to see a badly wounded Chihiro as Jun was stitching her up. "Fuck" He said in a low voice. "get...me...water...please..." Without hesitation he pulled out his canteen and undid the lid before moving over to her and lifting her head so she could take a drink from it. 'This is all my fault. If I had just-' He shook his head as he tried to avoid thinking about it. He quickly took notice to Chihiro as she wrote down something on a piece of paper. He could only get a glimpse of it though but it was enough to put him on edge. ...these two people were watching when we left the estate, they are around us, I don't know what to make of them, they're strong though, their chakra is different, i do-. He tried changing his demeanor to fit what was going on presently, it was hard and it could still be shown in his tone of voice but he managed to do it. "If we're going to do something we best do it now..."

"Hiro...wha-wha...what's going on?!?"

'No...Chihiro...' He gasped quietly as he turned to see Chihiro standing above him, looking at the ceiling. "You fucking coward, you aren't a ninja Gin, you are a fucking coward, get the fuck over your morals and do your damn mission, you have no idea who these two are, and you still can do it...fine" His eyes widen as she reached for the blade."H-Hiro what are you doing? Wha-" "Ch-Ch-Ch-Chihiro-chan...Hiro-chan...HIRRROOOO! Gin yelled in a feeble attempt to stop her but to no prevail. The blade pierced the scared girls chest as Fi's eyes said it all. Betrayal, confusion, fear. All Gin could do was sit the in a kneeled position and be a spectator because he wouldn't eliminate his objective. "W-Wh-why...H-"

He stared at her body, a shaky had moving up to remove his mask but was stopped short as he heard the blade being replanted into the floor, causing him to flinch. Quickly he was yanked off the ground, his eyes wide as he looked into Chihiro's own which showed anger and guilt, but most of all, sadness.. Though, she would now have to carry the guilt and burden of this, something that Gin could have...Should have. "Fi was my friend, my little sister and I fucking killed her, I DID YOUR JOB!" He scanned her face, hoping to see something different but her eyes were not changing. She sent daggers into him and he could feel it in the pit of his soul. He looked away from her and back at Fi's lifeless body and gritted his teeth.

"Listen here, when you're given a fucking job, you do it, regardless of your fucking morals, you think I wanted to kill her, I wanted to kill Cho? No! But I got the fuck over it, you need to figure out which side your on, because if that wasn't Fi, you could be dead, FUCKING DEAD GIN! Fucking figure out if you are cut out for this shit" He was thrown back to the ground. He didn't try to resist, he deserved it. In stead he stayed there and looked at Fi. She seem so at peace even after what just happened. Gin brought up his weak hand and took off his mask, something he never did unless something really, REALLY bothered or upset him. He never turned off his mic so it wouldn't be a surprise if that other teammate heard all of this. He decided just to sit there next to the doorway and stared at Fi. His headset resting on his lap, the button pressed in without him realizing it.

"She's right Fi...I'm not a ninja...I'm a fucking coward. You know though, you were lucky Fi, to have some like her in your life. His voice began to tremble. "B-Because I don't. I don't have a little sister or brother. I'm by myself...but you had her...A sweet caring individual, one who would lay her life down for family and friends. Instead she took yours because I let my morals get in the way of my judgment. I'm a coward, a disgrace and-AND NOW BECAUSE I FAILED SHE HAS TO BEAR THAT WEIGHT! NNNNAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" He could no longer hold it in, he screamed in pain and sorrow, but not because he failed to do it, but because he failed to do it for a friend. He was upset for Chihiro, one of the very few friends he had in Konaha since he moved there. He considered her like family and he failed her.

His scream was heard through the hallway as it traveled down and past Chihiro. After a moment he stood up weakly and went over to Fi, gently picking her up and moved her to her bed, his breath hitching almost in a rhythmic pattern as he neared the bed. He gently placed her in the bed. She looked so peaceful. His face show little emotion besides guilt. He placed her legs under the covers and gently crossed her arms. Carefully he brought the covers up to her face. He took in as much detail as possible before placing the covers over her. and turning towards the door. As he went to leave something caught his eye on the table that Fi had sat next to. He gazed at it before moving closer to see it. It was a small red box with gold wrapping around it for décor. Next to it a small envelope which read "Hiro-onee san. It wasn't sealed. Gin looked back at the doorway before looking back at the envelope and opened it.

Dear Hiro-Onee,
I heard you were coming to visit us so I decided to get you something special since I haven't seen you in awhile. It's a necklace with a picture inside of one of the days during the summer when we were younger. You remember right. I was scared to swimming because I thought I would drown, but you said that you wouldn't let me. I had so much fun with you that day. We should go swimming sometime this summer.

He looked at the box before picking it up and opening it. Inside contained a necklace that was enscribed with "Sisters Forever". Soberness remained on his face as he closed the box, put the letter back inside the envelope and placing both in his bag and moving to the doorway, picking up his mask, blade and headset. He placed the bomb next to the table where Fi sat. It wasn't to far from where she laid. "I'm on my way." Was his only reply.
