Most of you should be accepted, pending CS approval, since I've had a stalk through all of your profiles for previous writing (as samples). But there are a few who joined newly so I'm gonna ask for a sample either now or when I set up the thread this week. You can PM it to me, it doesn't have to be written in the character you wanna use here. You don't have to write a huge post, something common for your style will be fine. So @Suzuiya @ArmoredSloth69 @murdoc there's no rush for you to submit this since y'all are going for secondary chars; just do it before you wanna hop in IC. And to answer your question@Suzuiya I will need the sample (and CS) before I can definitively say if you're in or not :)

@Amy Of course! But as with every band even 1D there are lead vocals and... less lead vocals. Either way, I'm happy for you guys to have what you want. @Undine Two isn't a crowd.

What kind of roles are you going for? And if in the band, is your char playing instrument(s) and/or singing?

Rem there's back up singers, dancers, all sorts of support acts around the main crew too that you can play.

I would prefer for the band members and manager to be only one char per person while those playing only other secondary chars, they can have two or more.

Name: Aiden
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Species: Human to Vampire

Crimes Committed: A slew of cybercrimes including bank, computer and wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, money laundering; to do with hacktivism such as espionage, whistleblowing and sabotage (primarily national and international countries and multinational corporations).

Appearance: Aiden stands at 6'1" with a lanky frame. He usually slouches in an old t-shirt, hoodie, a pair of comfy jeans and well-worn sneakers. Although blessed with good looks, physical appearance is not something he cares about so his hair is let long over his nape and a shadow of a scruffy beard is often seen on him. He has no piercing or other distinguished bodily marking besides a personalised tattoo of the hackivist organisation he's in that's at the base of his skull (hidden by his hair).

Personality: The young man is calm, cool and collected. Rationality is his greatest asset. Nearly nothing fazes him that he can't rely on quick, logical thinking to utilise the available resources around him to manage the situation. While he can be attuned to his own emotional state, he keeps his reactive feelings under control; he doesn't do outbursts or fights.

If the situation concludes in a disadvantageous way for him despite his efforts, Aiden is willing to pay the price for the moment to Get Out of Jail, so to speak. Eg if he can't talk his way out of a fight and he's cornered, he will take the beating as best as he can without a struggle.

All the while, however, swearing vengeance on the person for the injustice dealt upon him.

Aiden cares easily and strongly for those around him, strangers included. He finds it easier to converse deep feelings through text than verbal words, but shows affection without embarrassment and lavishes gifts when he can.

The sense of empathy merged with an ethos of vengeful justice forms a strong part of his conduct: an eye for an eye, so that the injurer may feel what the victim felt (and come to change for the better).

The primary drive of his genius and possibly the worst of his personality is egotism. Aiden is motivated to prove himself and wholly believes he can be the one to achieve what others have found nigh impossible. He is passionate and steadfast in his convictions regardless of any naysayer, and oftentimes his success feeds the vicious cycle. When results fall short, Aiden blames the plan, the missteps he should have anticipated; and should a consequence turn dire, he cannot admit that he was wrong. He is not the best team player.

Greatest Fear: Fire, as in trapped in an inferno. Related phobias: fog, quite severe; mild claustrophobia in unfamiliar rooms.

What do you think is the hardest part about RPing?

Translating what I can see and feel in my mind into words. It's frustrating how words can be tediously inefficient or there are a thousand ways to describe an image (I'm a visual and feelings person).

4-5 bandmates are about to become wildly successful in the Pop world, here's a look at their everyday lives and outrageous drama that unfolds.

It's a Casual, moderately paced game. I expect about 2 IC posts a week for the core crew, a few mid-sized paragraphs at best, no speed-posting please. My GM style: I prompt and I have certain requisites in a scene that need to be fulfilled, everything else can and will be invented by you that I'll run as canon. I like surprises and I'm adaptable. It's give and take between all of us. (Passive players please look elsewhere.) I also like to PM players and vice versa for upcoming plot twists. Presumed character and character relationships are strongly encouraged; therefore PM each other (include the GMs).

What will be different about the game is its transience. I hope for a dedicated core group (the band and manager and maybe others I can't think of yet) with supporting members eg girl/boyfriends/dates, psycho stalker, paparazzi, whatever you want - who can be played by people who want to hop in for a bit and hop out again.

I'm happy for somebody to come aboard as Co-GM, somebody who's familiar with slice of life drama and celebrity gossip, for when I inevitably run out of prompts to throw at the cast. You needn't play IC to be the Co-GM.

I'll set up the OOC and IC next week if y'all are interested.

A note about the bandmates: 19-21 year olds, girls and/or guys. The band is a strictly controlled product, so if you're aiming for the angsty loner, be prepared for growing pains. Unique snowflakes will not be entertained. Keep it real, yo.
