>That awkward moment when you learn the religious revival movement you were headin was actually a vehicle for a Lovecraftian Abomination masquerading as a God to jack your body and take over the world

>That moment when you realize that you can only do fandom RPs because you're bad at original characters. This is what I get for never playing DnD

"We come in peace, shoot to kill' eh? ;)
Not even out thinks machines. He talks them into committing suicide. And will definitely be remembered as long the Federation endures.
Well, fortunately the Feddies have the power of technobabble on their side. And if not, we've got several vessels with ship/fleet bust ing weapons to deal with the Hive Ship when it inevitably stabs us in the back.
Yeah, and they have Wraith!McKay. Not looking forward to dealing with that. Thank goodness for my dual 'f--- you' cannons.
Oh shoot. Panic mode activated.
Ba'al looked over the diverse group with growing interest as more and more people roused from their slumber to find themselves in this strange place. A near babble of talking arose, and it seemed that no one had answers here, some lashing out angrily while others just sat around in some sort of stupor. Then there were the embarrassing ones, like the guy who ran over and face planted on the ground while shouting. It did succeed in earning a chuckle from Ba'al in terms of silliness, but that hardly mattered here.

A man came over, with blond hair and wearing an overabundance of red, asking loudly as to whom had mentioned Earth. Ba'al knew that to be him, since he had been the one who spoke, and he approached this man, all while planning. They weren't from the SGC, none of them were, so if he twisted the truth somewhat to make them trust him more, no one could call him on it, and he wouldn't be able to break the subterfuge because he would remember what he had added to the deception already.

"I did," he replied boldly, stepping forward. "I am Ba'al, Supreme Commander of the Goa'uld Star Empire. Earth was my destination before I was swept away to here, but this, this is like no place I have ever seen on that planet. And given that I appear to have come alone, leads me to believe that we have been swept up by some powerful entity, perhaps the Ancients, and deposited in this place."
The Doctor walked over and sat down at a small circular table, across from Rose, relaxing with a leg sticking out as he rested his right hand on the surface of the table itself, giving off all the impression in the world that he was relaxed and enjoying himself. Which he was. After all, there hadn't been any running or screaming or general panic, so he had the time to enjoy himself and just watch, observe, do what he did best. The tea quickly arrived, as well as some food, and the Doctor was comfortable enough letting Rose pour him some before doing the same for herself.

He lifted his tea cup as well, humming at the taste of the soft colored liquid as he drank it in slow sips. Absolute perfect temperature, fine taste, it was stuff like this he didn't have a chance to appreciate during the War. Fortunately, actually drinking the beverage was enough to distract him from going down memory lane. "Of course,' he replied as he lowered his cup. "Don't want anything crazy happening at a resort. It's bad for business."

He sighed in appreciation as he placed his cup back down, eyes scanning the crowds. "I agree," he replied to her comment on the state of the tea, before giving them both refills from the pot that rested between them. He then picked up one of the tarts, quickly snapping it down. "The food isn't too bad either."
Ba'al is annoyed. Very annoyed. Fortunately, he's good at hiding pesky emotions like those.

Now then, not sure if I should wait for more people, or respond to Kaga since he did ask who mentioned Earth, and that was me....
Alright. get something up when you can, I don't mind.
It's pretty much just everyone waking up and asking some variation of "Where are we" "Why are we here" "Who did this" and answering "I don't know." We haven't even done introductions yet.
