It'd be easy if the Zat's 'kill in two shots feature works on other PC characters, so Morito not having a weapon wouldn't be that much of an issue.
Ba'al would go along with this. To earn the trust of the others, and because he sounds like an Ori Prior. And Ba'al doesn't like the Ori.
Nobuo amuses Ba'al. When he sets up his empire here, Nobuo can stay.
I know. Those mutual Wraith kills in SG always amused me.

Sadly, you can't really severely deplete a Wave Motion Gun. Mostly because you have to charge a capacitor to 120% to fire it, and it's fed into by the main engine. So it looks like they'll be offline for now.
Anyways, I doubt my reactor explosion would be as bad as Trek's, given that they're blowing stuff up while I'm just converting the vacuum of space into tachyon energy to power the engines (And the doom laser0. No matter-antimatter reactions here, no sir.
I haven't read the first one, so don't feel bad.
Ba'al assumptions; Time travel, Ascended being being dicks, alternate universe, alternate reality, weird planet in the boondocks of nowhere made by nostalgics. I like my theories more :p

Nah, I was making an obscure reference to a time travel novel. A modern fleet sent back to WWII and ended up on top of the US Pacific fleet, and some ships clipped onto each other. Big explosions ensue.

You mean Axis of Time, where an international fleet ends up at the battle of midway?
Valtare nodded to himself as Serena called out from inside the room, granting him permission to enter. And he did so quietly, swinging the door open and stepping inside, before gently closing it behind him. He scanned the room, seeing that she was behind the shades in the corner of the room, and thus his eyes returned to the window as he took in deep breathes, breathing in the familiar, and comforting scent that filled the room. It was a scent he was used to, and always left him feeling good.

He stood by the door as he waited, responding simply to her question. "Word ha it that another suitor will arrive today. So until then, it will be your usual lessons, ten some time with him, and a banquet later in the day." Hopefully this time would work out better than the last. Her parents weren't exactly the most patient types.
