Hey, it was never retconned, just shoved in a corner. Therefore it is still SG canon, therefore I can use it. I mean, I'm fairly certain they want everyone to pretend Hathor didn't exist either, but that still happened.
Alright, Well, I can either let Sorin handle it, or see if the 'three shot's disintegrates' effect works on things like dragons.
I suppose it would be too much to ask for the 'two shot kill' function on the Zat to work on the giant dragon, right?
Ah, the Ancients. Now that was a query that Ba'al was able and willing to entertain, even if his answer may not be quite as interesting as Sorin was expecting. They had their own...unique philosophy, after all, and his presence here would indicate that they either didn't care about the Viewer messing with their reality, they were complicit in it, or they weren't powerful enough to stop it, which was alarming indeed. Well, there was no way to know, and he doubted he would get an answer from them, so he dismissed that to focus on the task at hand.

He smiled knowingly as he began. "The Ancients were the first iteration of intelligent life in our galaxy, though they came from another. They seeded life throughout the stars, nurtured and cultivated civilizations, and built great works such as City-Ships and a network of devices we call 'Stargates' that allow travel between planets in an instant. So yes, comparatively I would say that they were very powerful."

He sighed as he crested another rock on the trail they took. "However, are we are left with are relics, such as the Stargate Network. The Ancient civilization vanished several thousand years ago, interbreeding with the humans of Earth and becoming lost to time. The vast majority though attained Ascension, leaving behind their mortal bodies to become being of pure energy on another plane of existence. They're still there, but they value free will and independence, so they don't interference in the affairs of us mere mortals much." Even if it was a problem that they had left behind. But he wasn't about to mention that to Sorin.
Thomas walked angrily through the devastated landscape, seeing shattered trees, rubble, churned ground all around him, candy wreckage transformed into a panorama of destruction. Much as it was though, he didn't care, muttering under his breath and venting his rage against Joshua in a forum in which his complaints would not be heard by anyone else. He was a leader, and he had to be strong, to be a mainstay that people could turn to. A leader did not show weakness before those he was leading, and so he wouldn't.

A slightly trembling hand reached up and grabbed a twig of peppermint, slipping it into his mouth, but almost immediately it was spit back out again, the Keyblade warrior wincing and sputtering at the turgid taste. He sighed, wiped his hands, and continued walking, until his attention was drawn by the sound of nearby movement. So, welcoming the distraction, Thomas went to see what it was. And what he found was....Turbo, as a Cy Bug, blasted and horribly damaged, barely able to move. Thomas might not like the guy, but at this point he just felt bad for him. It was a hell of a way to live.

And then he started talking, and the sympathy vanished as Turbo proclaimed his desire to at least defeat one member of the group before he went. Thomas took a step back in surprise as the armor cracked and scattered, revealing a centipede body with a lot of sharp bits, Turbo's head atop it. And then the former King rushed forward on the attack.

"Thanks," he replied with an anticipatory grin. "I needed to work out some aggression." So he flipped back, swiftly dodging the strikes that came at him as he got a bit of distance before coming to a halt. Ready, he reached out, touching the magic within him, focusing it on his sword, using Magic Blade, like he had learned so recently, but this time with a different spell imbued. Not simply fire, or ice, or lightning, but something far more destructive. Black Hole.

The Keyblade shimmered as magic ran through it, shimmered and vanished, light seeming to bend visibly around where the blade should be as it was affected by the Black Hole spell he had placed upon it. Ready then, he smirked and charged forward, striking quick and fast, using his size and agility to his advantage to dance around Turbo and wear him down, as he sliced and chopped off limb after limb and segment after segment. But there was no action taken for an immediate kill. Instead, it seemed he wanted to draw this out as long as he could, even if it made his opponent suffer. This would show him, would show all of them.
Well, Imma get a post up and at least try and take down Turbo. If Joshua throws one of his NPC's in, then I won't stop him.
Hm, well, I expect troll GM is a troll, but sure, why not. THen I can use my meteor hammer to it's full effectiveness.
Yay, one more fight. Time to slice and dice with enchanted Black Hole blade.
Ba'al should not be surprised, and he gave a mental sigh as two of the flying ones left to go over the forest, rendering their help less than useful due to obstructed sight, and he was left with Sorin as he headed up the rocky path towards the mountain in the distance. He held his zat at the ready, scanning the area for ambushes, predators, or other unsavory things, showing more caution than he would have normally since he didn't have a personal shield or a Sarcophagus handy to prevent or heal damage. so caution was the name of the game.

He looked back to Sorin as the man...vampire, inquired as to his opinion on their whole situation. Well now, there were several ways he could answer that, but he chose the one that seemed to be closest to the truth.

"Not particularly," he replied with a shrug. "Where I come from we confirmed the existence of alternate realities a long time ago. Certainly none as radically different as those these other competitors seem to come from, but given the sheer amount of alternate realities involved, it's understandable. Indeed, the Ancients created a device to allow easy travel to and from alternate realities before they ascended, but I have no had the opportunity to use one." So that was his piece. Time to see how Sorin reacted.
*Shrug* He has no time for stupid people. Besides, he has a gun that can kill in two shots. He should be fine.
