Kingdom Hearts: Signs of Zodiac

It was a quick run outside, the Heartless in the way no match for what was thrown against them. It gave Thomas a chance to observe Jake's combat skills, and he conceded that the older warrior had experience, and an evident pre disposition towards close range combat, though the jury was still out on that when there were only weak Heartless to fight. Once outside, he watched the exchange with some awkward confusion, not knowing the dynamics or story here and so he stayed silent as Taran decided to come back with them to face whoever the Big Bad was here. He had his own opinions on whether Reno needed help, but kept them to himself in any case. Jake would learn about that little facet himself soon enough, no need for Thomas to tell him.

So, they went back inside, Thomas hitting whatever was left over from Jake and Tarans attacks, providing magical support for what it was worth, though he made an effort to save energy for whatever fight was to come.The throne room was soon reached, and with Thomas near Jake, he soon got to enjoy the lingering smell as well. "Oh god that reeks," he added, pinching his nostrils shut as much as it helped with it. His eyes scanned the chamber, picking out a figure behind a wall of ice and the very evil looking figure waiting for them. As if he needed more approval, the ominous laugh and mention of Reno and Belle not being there was enough. "Whatever you did to them,. you're not going to get away with it," he replied, hands clenching as he dropped into a combat stance.

admittedly, there was a part of him that didn't feel bad about something happening to Reno, but that was overpowered by general concern. The fight was joined as Thomas moved forward, lashing out with his own Fira spells, to take down this 'Horned King', He didn't have any bag of bones so it wasn't like that was his job in any case. so it was moving, and dodging after he activated his armor with the appearance of an actual threat and began the magical duel.

Nah. there's always time to shop, since the bad guys are courteous enough to not attack you while you're making a purchase. Aren't they nice?

For some reason, perhaps the throbbing dark wound in his arm, Thomas didn't react well to the sarcasm directed at him. "Thanks old timer, but I bet you know that line about deceiving appearances as well as I do." He lowered his guard and his weapon, straightening from the crouch to face this other group. "Name's Thomas." His eyes widened slightly at the mention of another Keyblade wielder further up, and he had an idea as to whom that was. "Sounds fine by me, I guess," he replied, deferring authority to the older figure as much as it may rankle him. "Good to know Reno is here," he muttered as he fell in with the group, moving back out towards the exit.

Thomas head desking is a common enough occurrence when Reno is around.

Still nothing had revealed itself to Thomas, some relic of power, item of knowledge. It was annoying and perhaps even frustrating, though it should not have been the focus of his search in the first place. But he was confident that Reno was fine, since even if he got in a jam he could just hide in his Glider if his magic couldn't suffice, and if there was something that Reno with his magic couldn't beat then he probably had less of a chance of defeating it. So he took his time in his search, making sure it was all good and methodical even though it yielded no tangible results.

Still, it seemed that it was a good thing he had done so, for it meant he was better able to hear when noise did reach his ears. It was the sound of clashing blades, of magic blasts, and at that sound he pulled out his Keyblade and moved towards it, reasoning that it might be Belle or Reno. He moved fast, the sound of battle nearing until he reached them, waiting for a momentary lull to move out into the open around a corner, Keyblade in a ready position. To his surprise, it was not, in fact, Reno or Belle, and he reacted accordingly, shifting slightly in preparation for a fight. "Alright, good guy or bad guy," he called out, not dropping his guard for the moment.

I don't think I've ever seen Black Cauldron as it is, so I don't mind any way :p Anyways, I think I'm meeting Jake next, proably just running into you guys in the halls or something. I'll get working on a post.

Well, there were/are going to be two fights at least. The second one I planned to have in Wastelands for reasons that will be fairly apparent when we get there and so I don't feel the need to discuss them. I figured one would happen earlier, either at this point or if we did another stop over before the last few worlds or something, a bit iffy on the timing. Either way, I always assumed it would happen because either Thomas or Joshua just got tired of the other and decided to punch it out. But admittedly the reasoning when I originally planned it out was a lot more hazy than now, since it was earlier.

Hm yes. Which reminds me that I need to do more character stuff that kinda slipped my mind with the move and all. Trying to show that gradual slide getting worse rather than stuff coming out of relative nowhere, showing how bad it's actually getting. As for the fight, I thought you wanted to have that fight actually in Radiant Gardens via teleport, to prevent collateral damage since there's that huge wasteland outside.

Fun stuff in Twilight Town? Totally! Such as that fight we've been talking about for forever. However that comes about.

also, I'll post soonish. working out how to meet Reno and Saint.
