Should I let you post first? Cause all I would've done was to blow it up with a lot of grenades.

Eh, I'm not sure. At least Ruiko still has her Esper abilities since we never made it inside the building.
Well then, somebody is getting blown up.
Ba'al and Teal'c, Ha'tak, Central USA, Arcadia-1

To the credit of the Alliance, it was not long after Teal'c had contacted them that he got a response, indicating that at least one person there had their eye on the skies. That was good, since Ba'al didn't like to be kept waiting. Sure, he wouldn't have started a war over it, but he would have been less than pleased. And one did not antagonize the Goa'uld. But it probably would have been difficult anyway, given the ships that were apparently parked near the Alliance base. Oh well.

Ba'al didn't deign to answer himself, instead nodding to Teal'c, who opened the connection so that he could be seen. Time to see just how sociable the Alliance was. Ba'al listened carefully as the exchange began. This could be quite interesting.

"I am Teal'c, First Prime to Lord Ba'al of the Goa'uld. He seeks an audience with you," Teal'c explained succinctly and clearly. He was not one to waste words, that much was obvious. It just remained to be seen how it would go from there, now that the request had been made of the Alliance.

Saten Ruiko, Entrance, Conablum Labs

It quickly became apparent that their arrival had stirred up something of a hornets nest as guards responded to their presence, but that couldn't prepare her for when some girl showed up, kicking down the gate by herself and sending it rocketing at them. At least Banha stepped forward to block it, the thing bouncing off his shields and then sent flying back courtesy of Absolis. Nonetheless this girl immediately set Ruiko on edge, if only from the flagrant use of her strength to do such a thing which seemed so much like Mikoto back home.

She tried to keep it cool though, putting on a smile as she took a step forward. "Oh, did we interrupt something? Sorry, we didn't know if there were visiting hours or something like that." Okay, so not the most amazing introduction, but it would serve for the moment. Or so she hoped.

Before she could go on though another figure emerged, and Ruiko could be forgiven for staring a bit. It was....a giant spider. An anthropomorphic spider at that, which was pretty weird. Sure, Ruiko had dealt with some weird things, but that was pretty high up there! Well, she would just have to deal with it as best she could.

"Wha..." the comments, and the wink, threw her for another loop though. Was the spider flirting with her? Ruiko could only pray that she wasn't like Shirai, perverted and with a seemingly unstoppable desire to get what she wanted. Sure, Ruiko wasn't a totally stranger to that as well as Uiharu could attest, but she wasn't sure how she would deal with it if it was, well, a giant anthropomorphic spider.

She coughed, getting her wits back before she began, bowing as she made her introduction. "Hello. I'm Saten Ruiko, and these are Absolis Rivard and Banha Akiyama. We're here on behalf of God-Emperor Nova, and we were hoping we could talk to the head of the Labs, or somebody else important." Well, she'd made the attempt, even though she was no diplomat. Here was hoping that it worked out.
Bump on the sunny side.

That...

Was a typo.

Ah. Also, wasn't Rivard's first name Saber? ;)
Oh yes, @flamelord if and when you get in cobablum labs, your Esperanto powers will either be unusable or very limited because of psychic interference fields.

Got it. Though I'm not sure what's funnier, the way that you altered the word, or the fact that you actually said the word 'Esper' in your variation anyway, thus rendering the red of the word pointless :p
It had been a close call for Alex down in the archives. Certainly he hadn't been expecting that he would be confronted before he had gotten what he wanted from this place. Fortunately he had managed to convince them that his presence was not foreign, that he had some purpose in being there, and that had gotten them to go away and leave him be.

But it had ultimately been worth it in the end, as his investigation got him an old scroll, detailing the location of possible treasure deposits n Arcadia. Whether it had been explored or not was another matter, but he had a feeling that the more difficult areas had yet to be looked into. That was good, as far as he was concerned. Sure, it was no map to the Citadel, but if he could get one of those Relics then it would make his job that much easier later on.

With the scroll in his possession he slipped it into a bag and made his exit. The confrontation meant that he had been noticed, and he would rather not stick around if he had to. With how crazy things were, he didn't need to draw undue attention to himself. As a thief, that sort of thing was bad.

"Now then, I just need to get to Arcadia," Alex muttered to himself as he walked the streets of the capitol. He had gotten some time to think on it, to collect his supplies as well as his cash, and now he just needed to get to his destination. That was why he was headed to the port, so he could snag an airship to Arcadia.

Overall it wouldn't be too difficult for him, as far as he was concerned. He had hitched rides before, and either he would work it off or he would just sneak before. That was a part of his skill set after all. It was just a matter of how things looked when he arrived, and he was ready for any eventuality as he neared. He was ready to go on a trip.
For a moment there was nothing to Genevieve, just the foul taste of the...thing, on her tongue. She didn't know how this would save her, or if she had merely been tricked before her life would be drawn to an abrupt and brutally violent end. This was not how she had imagined things going, had always imagined things going in her sleep surrounded by her loved ones, not this twisted place.

"Krrt!" Then it hit her, swelling inside as a nauseating sensation inside her stomach, causing her to grit her teeth and double over. Her arms wrapped around her stomach at the same time, a grimace painted across her features. What, what was this? She couldn't pay attention to anyone else with her, not when she was being subjected to these strange feelings. There was only cause, and shew could only wonder what that disgusting meat was doing.

The fire hit her like a sack of bricks, Genevieve practically collapsing as tears dripped from her eyes. Her muscles felt like they were on fire, burning and ripping under the strain. Every moment was agony, a pain unlike any that she had experienced before. "Gaaahhh!" The cry tore free of its own volition, a pale expression of the sheer agony that she was in. Rather than being doubled over she merely crumpled to the ground, body heaving and shuddering without an end in sight.

'Mother, father, I'm sorry,' she whispered in her head, a silent plea to the painful oblivion that surrounded her. She didn't know why she was here, in this purgatory and hell. She had done what she was told, been respectful and dutiful to her parents. Her life had been focused on the eventual place that she would take in the business. Was this the punishment she had earned for wondering if there was more in life?

Then she felt it, another strange feeling welling up inside it. It was....weird, heady, almost enough to make her giddy with delight as the empty void left by the fire was filled once more. It made her feel different, yet she didn't know what that was. But she was feeling things that were different, not normal.

At last Genevieve was able to stagger back to her feet, her face split into a feral grin. She felt strong, powerful, better, like she could take on an entire army and win. Some part of her know that something was wrong, that she was being irrational, but she didn't care at all. From the sheer terror of being here, now she felt better than she had ever been. It was amazing!

Her gaze swept the area, sliding over the strange beings as she grinned. Where once there had been mind numbing fear now there was a bestial eagerness. She wanted to attack, to rip them to shreds and show them how she had felt. They seemed to recognize that and fled, lest Genevieve do unto them what they had done unto her. Good, they had better run.

With the shades fled, she naturally gravitated to the others with her, who seemed much like she was now. Even the injured girls had been healed. She didn't know how, she just knew. And that worried her, earning a growl as she took a step back. Her hands clenched, ready to attack or defend herself if need be. She was ready to face it, whatever happened next. That much she knew for certain.
Ba'al and Teal'c, Ha'tak, Over the continental USA, Arcadia-1

The conversation with Nova had gone relatively well, as far as Ba'al was concerned. Of course he appeared to be in a position of inferiority, but he had gotten a good read on the mans personality. That would help when he was planning, so that he could come up with a scheme to deal with him when the time came. For now Ba'al would play along, but he would not be in this position forever. that much he was sure of.

But once it had ended he hadn't returned home immediately. Instead he had ordered them off on a different course, heading off in America. He had his plans in place, and he wasn't yet ready to simply return home and make what preparations were needed to expand and conquer, whether it be this universe or another one.

Instead, he had set a course for the Alliance of Conquerors, his fleet still following and putting on quite the show of force as he made his way towards where they had reportedly set up shop. Nova did not dictate to Ba'al, and if Ba'al wished to talk to one of the other factions on this world then so be it. If Nova had a problem, he could destroy the Goa'uld fleet as he wished. But for now, nothing would stop the Supreme Commander.

From his seat, he nodded to Teal'c. "Hail the Alliance and let them know that we're coming, and that I would like to chat. I'd hate to cause a battle on accident."

"Yes Lord Ba'al," Teal'c replied, turning to the radio and doing just that. Well, they would see how the Alliance reacted to the offer, and the incoming fleet that accompanied it.

Saten Ruiko, Conablum Labs

With a wave back to Nova and a spring in her step, Ruiko would enter the portal along with the rest of her entourage. She had the crystal on hand, and she had mentally prepared herself for what she was about to do. She had never played diplomat before, and it would be an interesting experience to be sure. At least she had had the chance to practice with her powers, so she could defend herself if need be.

"Alright, let's go," she said to her companions with a grin, and Banha led the way as he moved through the portal. She did likewise, fighting through the strange feelings that accompanied the transport, before they found themselves in front of the labs. That had been odd, but bearable. Now it was time to do the job that they had come here to do.

She looked around as she stepped forward, confident in herself and the guys with her. "So, I guess this is the part where we knock and see who answers," she noted aloud as she advanced towards the facility, looking the gate over for a way to get past. Time to do this.

Ahsoka Tano, Eastgate City, Arcadia-2

Ahsoka sighed to herself as she explored, a hand resting near her hip as her gaze scanned the city. She was currently exploring the city, learning more about it and seeking some place that she could attain more information on this world, among other things.

The group had finally gotten the chance to settle down and relax and bit from their flight, and now that they had they could turn to important things. To Ahsoka, that meant figuring out how she had gotten here, how to get home, and how she might find Assaj again. She was sure that her companion was handling herself, to be fair, but the isolation was annoying. They worked much better as a pair.

Nothing to be seen for the moment, she turned a corner and headed down another street. Sooner or later she would find something interesting, and then they could start getting places.
@Flamelord is ba'al going to come with Banha, Absolis, and Ruiko?

Nah, Ba'al is going to go do his own thing. Perhaps pay a visit to the Alliance of Conquerors. Just out of courtesy as neighbors, of course.
