Well, here's my hat in the ring

Well, I was around the last time you ran this, so you should have expected that I'd be back for it. Hopefully it'll work out better than last time.
"Alright, be careful," Alex yelled back as he heard the muffled voices above him, indicating that someone was there to rescue him. It earned a sigh of relief, even if that was short lived due to how rapidly the metal above him froze. He quickly shifted back, as far from the ice as he could so he didn't get frozen too.

What he wasn't expecting was for the metal to crack, threatening to plunge onto him, only for himself to be surrounded in the safe protection of a metallic gauntlet. Eyes wide, he looked around to see an iron golem of sorts holding him, before placing him next to the twins. He stumbled momentarily before recovering, bowing with a flourish. "Thank you for the assist ladies," he said with a grin. "I'm not sure how I would have gotten out of there otherwise."

He took a moment to really look himself over then, testing for broken bones or sprains, and noting the many scratches and cuts that he had from the crash landing. "I'm fine," he reassured them. "Just a bit roughed up." This was not the sort of thing he had imagined happening when he set off on this expedition.

"Alright then. Be careful," he said to the duo as the twins headed off to look for more survivors of the crash, and Alex proceeded to look around as he tried to come up with what to do next. Well, he should probably help out, if only to build goodwill for later. Besides, he wasn't the sort of person to just sit around on his hands and coalesce. He needed to be doing something.

Before they could get far though someone began calling them again, or for the first time rather it seemed. He couldn't quite remember. Well, he might as well check it out, even if he wasn't sure why they would be by the river bank. "I'll go see how they're doing," he called to the twins with a gesture towards the river before walking off, ready to help out however was needed in dealing with this crash.

It's been like this all day.

Oh, I'm not talking about the server errors. This has kinda been a recurring issue for me, and I have no clue why.
So I have no idea what you guys are doing, but whenever I try to scroll in the IC my internet locks up, and I have no idea why. Needless to say, it's pretty frustrating.
Ah hell, let's bump this.
Surprisingly, the pirate captain/princess does not like being told what to do by complete strangers without a good reason why. Who'd have seen that coming?
Slowly a group began to coalesce into existence, Sarisa watching as those who had seemed intent on wandering before began to gather with her and her current companion, forming a group so they could debate or talk over their situation. She supposed that in this case a common sharing of knowledge would be alright, since it wasn't like she had anything to go on. A slight smile escaped as Jecht and his Moogle began to fight each other, but it was tempered by the knowledge that he was as much in the dark as she was right now.

It did seem to have drawn some attention, though, a blond man with ha harp approaching while some other fellow with a giant sword stood on his own for now. "Sorry, can't help you there," she replied with a shake of her head as he asked if she had her memories and knew where they were. Well then, surprisingly it seemed that she wasn't the only one with this problem. It seemed reasonable to assume that they all did.

She would be forgiven for not noticing he smaller being there until he had spoken, calling out to them and saying that his Moogle apparently had a direction for them to go in. It was something, if it was true. "That right," she asked, looking back to Mojito.

"Yep, kupo," Mojito confirmed with a nod, looking at the the Moogles present. Well then, it was interest to see that everyone else had Moogles with them too. Sarisa wondered why, but didn't ask about it.

Instead she focused on more important things, head swiveling to take in the entire landscape. There was no point in sticking around here, but given that she had no memory, it might not have been the wisest choice. "What do you think," she asked Mojito.

The Moogle hopped in place, giving its version of a shrug, or so it appeared to her. "Sounds good to me, kupo." At that point another woman drew near, drawing Sarisa's attention away as she began to talk. At least they had another person now, but the good mood rapidly vanished with words and actions that Sarisa was able to witness at the moment.

The way the woman looked at Sarisa like she was some dumb brute, and the way she talked with a pompous haughtiness immediately set SDarisa on edge. The woman frowned, her hand twitching for the dagger on her belt before she decided that it was a bad idea. Not that she wasn't confident in her skills, but a fight right now didn't seem like the wisest decision.

Nonetheless, she would not remain silent in the face of this obvious bias and smug superiority. "Oy," she spat out, glaring at the unnamed woman. "Don't think that you get to be in charge just because you're in fancy clothes and can use big words. I'm not being some brute muscle so you can hide in back. And the name's Sarisa Tycoon, if anyone cares." If she wanted to argue that, she could take her best shot.
Well, back from my trip and with a stable internet connection once more. I will work on getting a post up now.
Alex had managed to break free from the giant dragon thing, but he had little time to be relieved as the ship whined and shuddered, slanting downwards as air whipped past, with the vessel headed straight for the ground. Oh this was not good, this was not good at all. He could only assume that that had been the result of the dragon, which was very unfortunate.

But there was no time to lament his own misfortune, and he quickly acted to save himself from a very painful death. His tome activated as he grabbed on to the sturdiest structure that he could find, hanging on for dear life as the ship neared the ground. Dear god, this was going to be painful. "How do I keep getting myself in these situations," he grumbled, knuckles clenched as he waited for the impact. This was going to suck.

A groan escaped as Alex began to stir back to wakefulness, his head throbbing in pain and the rest of his body hardly as well off. His eyes opened to reveal a blurry expanse, which slowly resolved in a dark cave of sorts, blocks present and water nearby, the debris from the airship scattered about all over the place. Naturally, the crash had done a number on the place.

At the moment it looked like he was stuck, the metal having caved in in a fashion to hold him in place. He wasn't too damaged besides scrapes and bumps, but this was hardly the most adequate situation to be in. And he wasn't sure if he could use his tome for fear of dropping more debris on him, at least at the moment.

"Wonderful," he groaned to himself as he tried to move, a bit more confident when it didn't bring anything down on him. Pausing for a moment he could swear he heard someone calling his name, a sign that other people had survived the crash. Good. Otherwise he would have been really worried. "Hey, anyone there!" he called aloud, knocking on the metal near his face a bit to try and draw attention. Here was hoping someone could help him before he needed to save himself. Again.
