The surprise at the girl actually listening to what Alex was saying was overwhelmed by the surprise of Tori suddenly appearing again, after having been lost for so long. "Where did you get off to," he asked in confusion. She certainly hadn't been with them in the last room, and he hadn't seen her go off on her own while they were running for their lives.

"They're over there," he said as he gestured to the duo before looking back to the girl that was waiting for them to tell her what to do. It was very weird, and while he did like to think he was good at adapting, this thing was a bit outside of his area of experience, to say the least.

But hey, it seemed to be working out. If by 'working out', one meant that the giant robot that they were in appeared to be at the point of practically falling apart, but its own description. He wasn't certain, but it was easy enough to agree that that was a bad thing. Especially if this main reactor went up. He wasn't confident in his ability to be explosion proof in a pinch.

"Yes, yes it does," he said to the twins before looking forward once again. "Begin emergency shut down," he suggested to the girl even as he slipped forward. "I'll also be taking this." With that he grabbed for the thing atop her staff before pulling back, ready to make his escape from this place. They had something, though whether it proved to be valuable remained to be seen.
Well, here's my first character. I'll probably submit a villain when i come up with a good idea.

Name: IF

Universe: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth

Appearance:

Personality: IF is a knowledgeable person, used to traveling on her own and relying on her self. She can be overconfident when it comes to areas that she has a lot of knowledge in, and can be pretty headstrong when it comes down to it. She tends to plan out things and accomplish them in her own way, which can lead to problems when she is being dragged into ding things that she doesn't think help accomplish her own objectives, or those of the group. She does have a sarcastic side to her, but is ultimately a good person who will do the right thing.

Has a bit of wanderlust, due to not really knowing what it's like to have a home. Annoyed by the conversation topic of chest size, and has a serious addiction to her cell phone. Nonetheless, when the chips are down she will stand by her friends through thick and thin.

Abilities:
Demon Flames - A series of explosions rip through an area before a pillar of fire rises from the ground to burn anything caught inside it. Magical based, and it deals fire damage as you might expect

La Delphinus - Another area of effect attack that causes a pillar of light to rise from the ground, striking anything inside. While causing magical damage as a result of this, it also has a chance to seal an enemies skill, or in this case, Ability.

Green Nova - A skill that allows her to heal a single target of damage they have suffered. Can fully heal broken limbs, scratches, but more significant damage requires additional time and energy that she may not have in a battlefield situation.

Apocalypse Nova - IF's ultimate attack, this can only be pulled off when she has sufficiently charged up with energy. Bolts of energy are thrown out that explode on contact with the ground or a target, which she then follows up with a solid energy laced punch, before delivering a final vertical slice of energy for significant damage.

Alliance: Team Charmeine

Other:
Alright, new character. @Asuras can choose which one you think would be more useful.

Sure, I'm interested. Should be fun to see how this goes.
Unaware of the fact that they were being followed, the Tel'tak headed towards Chulak at all due speed, in preparation for their mission. All the men had been hand picked for their loyalty and skill, to overcome any challenge that might arise along the way. As far as they were concerned this had been an easy escape, though of course they were also worried more about the Ehtereals and ADVENT rather than the Imperium.

Soon enough though they arrived at their destination, a window opening up to admit them into orbit over Chulak. Once they had arrived the Tel'tak would begin scanning, checking the habitability of the planet and looking for signs of life, just in case. They didn't know what to expect out here, after all.

The scans came back fairly rapidly though, as one would expect. The planet was habitable, and with basically the same sort of atmosphere and climate of Chulak back home, but it also had no signs of previous life on it. If there had been Goa'uld in this universe, they had apparently never made it here. COmpared to Arcadia it was strange, but the Jaffa didn't put much thought into it at the moment.

With that confirmed they headed down to the planet's surface, settling down in an open clearing where they could set up a base camp. The Stargate would be moved out to the ground itself where the Jaffa would experiment a bit before managing to dial Arcadia, the Gates connecting between planetary systems as they did back back in their original universe. Which was, understandably, a good thing.

"Lord Ba'al," one of the Jaffa reported. "We are transmitting our survey data to you now. Chulak is uninhabited, and we should have no issue establishing a base here.

"Good," replied the hologram of the Supreme Commander, smiling as he looked around. "I will send reinforcements to you shortly. With the recent events we are going to need this base shortly. Continue and make sure that nothing ruins my plans."

"Understood, my Lord," the lead Jaffa agreed with a respectful bow. More troops would come through when the gate shut down, this time sent over from the Arcadian side of the network, from Jaffa to defensive emplacements and the beginnings of structures. The Goa'uld would not be doing this in half measures, that was for sure.

Back on Arcadia, the message sent out by the Imperium quickly reached the Goa'uld, delivered to the Supreme Commander as well as his wife as they relaxed in their joint throne room of the capital. The chairs were certainly elegant, not all that comfortable, but it wasn't like they spent all that much time in it anyway.

"So, it appears that the Imperium wish to meet again, this time to discuss the new threat that has appeared," Ba'al noted as he looked over the message before glancing over to Qetesh. It wasn't much of a surprise, he was just taken aback by how rapid it was. It had barely been half a day and already they were calling with supposedly vital information.

Qetesh let out a harrumph, glancing at the message before tossing it away. "The insolence of them. they claim to order us like we are simply soldiers to be called upon? These beings are a threat, but not an insurmountable one." oh yes, she was already planning to bring in more forces, and to erase whatever sting had been left from her retreat earlier. That was all there was to it.

An eyebrow rose as Ba'al shifted to look more towards his wife, practically unaware of the others in the room as he focused on the conversation at hand. "Still, it would not look favorably upon us to simply avoid the meeting. We could earn their gratitude and goodwill, which may be useful later."

That was dismissed with a wave by Qetesh, who did have a tendency to be a lot less practical than Ba'al. "My dear husband, don't you remember how they talked about us, how all the other factions here seem to view us with disdain and outright hatred? Why should we come simply because they call us? If these Tyranidd are as much of a threat as they are supposedly claiming them to be, then they will need all the allies they can get."

Ba'al grinned even as he hummed in agreement. "And if they so desperately need allies, they will have to come to us. I knew there was a reason I married you. Besides your good looks, of course." Well, they still had some time to decide what they wanted to do, but Ba'al was fairly confident in his decision. Thus far the Goa'uld had been treated as a third rate power that hardly worthy of notice. No longer, not if he had anything to say about it.
Alright, i edited Tyre onto the world map about where I think it'd be, though Asuras can obviously edit as they wait.

Though at this point I'm thinking of changing character just because of the imbalance we have in the group towards Mercunddyr. What does the Gm think?
Interested, though I haven't settled on a character yet
I did it before it was cool :V

Though I may go back and make something for Ollas or something. Especially since I'm not sure how much of Cynthia's backstory stuff matches what I've written about the region for my own guy
Sure, I'm willing to do it
I'm working on it. I promise.

Name: Edwyrd Oriwarin
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Race: Elvish
Nation: Federation of Mecrundyr
Position/Status: Merchant Prince of the Republic of Tyre
History: Within the constituent Republics of the Federation of Mecrundyr there are certain individuals, families that have extensive connections and economic ties that far surpass those of the average citizens. They are connected by blood and money, either through familial ties or a patrimonial relationship between the heads of those powerfuls families and the people that they helped put into certain positions within the Federations power structure, as well as the economic system. Edwyrd was a member of one of those families.

Edwyrd was the eldest son of an Elvish family, one that had come to the Federation some time ago. They had managed to cement themselves inside the city through the development of capital, and he was raised to take over the business one day, when his father had retired. They had their hands extended through the Republic of Tyre and into several of the Republics beyond, not the strongest of the families but certainly not the weakest of them. They were involved in trade, government, and had their interests well in hand. He was raised well and learned avidly, proving himself to have a bit of a charismatic talent that would serve him well.

Then everything changed. The arcane cannon of Baelwill was destroyed, the arch priestess assassinated, and the people of that land returned home or simply vanished, leaving everyone to wonder what had happened. The winds of change had started to blow, and even Edwyrd could feel that.

Yet in the Federation things stayed the same. There were some murmurings, some calls for people to march and reclaim the world for themselves, but ultimately nothing came of it. There was no profit in war, in rambunctious change and violent conflict, not with the system that had been set up in the past. And ultimately the people were more concerned with the threat of the Werefolk, now more of a concern than ever since Baelwill is not around to keep them suppressed.

Ultimately Edwyrd came to power in a manner that he would not have liked, his father visiting some of his friends when the village was attacked by Werefolk, and he was killed while assisting in the defense. that left Edwyrd to take up leadership of his family, with the connections and influence that that implies. It has not been so easy settling in, but the transition was managed without significant loss, and now he is ready to go on.

Yet he is not content. Young, ambitious, not content with the status quo. Edwyrd plans to rise to the top of the Federation, and to make his mark on the world. Whatever it takes. And if that means striking against Baelwill, then so be it.

Skills and Abilities:

Tongue of Gold - Practically a necessity for any patrician, Edwyrd is very much a 'people person'. He has been trained in the art of conversation and debate, and how to interact with people. Whether it be talking with a rich aristocrat or a common shoemaker on the street, he knows just how to make a friend and leave a mark, which can be very useful when it comes to negotiations and diplomatic meetings. Not perfect, perhaps, but definitely above the norm

Mind of Money - As one would understand by his occupation, Edwyrd has a keen understanding of finances and the working of business, whether it be the operation of a business, the management of trade, government finances, or what have you. It comes down to knowing how the money flows, the right palms to grease to get things moving your way, and in a system where wealth is the true determinator of the influence that you have in society he is essentially geared towards that sort of lifestyle. Something that will probably come to good use in a military campaign.

Melting Pot of the World - The Republic of Tyre is a part of the Federation of Mecrundyr, a nation renowned for trade and its cosmpolitan nature. This means that the Republic is home to a multitude of people and races, from humans to elves and beyond. It is a nation stewing in ideas and beliefs, meaning that it is a very progressive society, even if it is not the most warlike as it could potentially be. Those who are educated, such as Edwyrd himself, have had some significant contact with other beliefs and ideologies, meaning a greater understanding in learning and places to pursue the development of knowledge

Song of the Sellsword - As a Republic that invests heavily in trade and mercantilism, Tyre relies primarily on the usage of mercenary forces when defending itself. While it can mobilize its population for a conflict if need be, it is much more efficient to use the wealth that many of the patricians have available to hire others to fight for them in their conflicts. While previously this may have been against other Republics in the Federation over various trade disputes that have spilled out of control, now it is primarily directed against the Werefolk. Nonetheless, it allows for a readily available source of military force, without the time, effort, and danger involved in training the populace to fight.
