The years behind me grow and become brighter whilst the years ahead shrink and become dimmer, providing me an excellent opportunity to use the word 'whilst'. Now I'm tired and can't think of anything else funny to say. Let's see, classy info dump should do. I am FlitterFaux this time around, I tend to get horribly busy (still am) and leave the guild sometimes for years at a time but I just can't stay away forever. I'm not awesome enough for advanced but fast paced one lining does not work for me either so casual is juuusst right. I'm a lady, possibly past 29 but don't ask which 29th birthday I'm at, I like rainbows which is good because they're hard to escape in Hawaii, I like fantasy and sci fi with liberal sprinklings of horror and drama, and I'm tired again. I'll finish the rest later. Edit: Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone. I can start a private conversation... with myself!? Epic. Truly epic.

"Yes, sadly many do get hurt every year. I find it hard to watch and I usually try to avoid coming outside during the festival. But today I was... distracted and not paying attention to where I was going. And, well... Krysanthia gestured at the mess and sighed.

At least it seemed Tinnun had not noticed what she almost said about being too hungry. But she simply had to offer the chef extra when she was once again reunited with her rupees, not just for the damage but for a full meal later. The smells seemed to be getting more potent the longer she stayed here, especially the seasonings that were clearly from Akaala. This reminded her just how long she had been away and for the first time in many years Krysanthia felt homesick. She looked for an extra seat to sit with Tinnun for a while, limping a bit and trying to ignore the pain.

"I'm sorry, you came to enjoy the festival, not listen to my woes. Um, may I ask how things are back in Akaala? Have you come from Hebra? It's... been a long time since I left and I haven't been to visit since. Is that where you learned to cook? I think I recognize some of the spices you use."

Oh right, I meant under their robes. Intriguing mystery. @Sho Minazuki

Got half a post but need a break for sleep, will finish tomorrow @UmbreonRogue
Makes sense. Loved Twilight princess and especially the story of the Twili themselves, beautiful race. And am I interpreting you correctly, Subrosia exists they just don't go wandering about hyrule? I'm interested to know what you think they might look like?
Just out of curiosity, I never thought to ask until now, are the Twili a thing somewhere in your world, Sho? For that matter other more obscure races?

On yet another side-track I didn't find anything myself but do the Subrosians have a legitimate appearance besides robes with eyes?

And does the fact that the breath of the wild Rito have hands that are also their wings bother anyone else? I mean sure, I've been guilty of worse crimes against physics and obviously playing a Rito as I am I can deal. But the primary feathers, bending and gripping and doing hand things... yes, I think creepy is the word I am looking for. Good thing I am a fan of creepy.
Krysanthia was glad Tinnun had agreed to let her pay for the ruined food, for some reason the thought of being forgiven the debt made her uncomfortable. Likely that was her uncles' influence. Though the man had been unpleasant enough to simply leave when she was old enough one of his few virtues was that he always honored a debt though he loathed owing anyone anything. She felt this was a good value to hold herself to now that she thought about it.

As Tinnun approached her, offering a wing in greeting, Krysanthia realized at last she was still kneeling in dirt. She pulled herself up to stand to nearly her full height having to favor her leg and lean down slightly to take Tinnun's wing in both of of hers. To say Krysanthia was tall for a Rito woman would be understating the facts; she was tall compared to most men. Yet somehow she did not come across as intimitating despite her borderline ridiculous height. To a perceptive person it would be easy to see how she held herself and how, even though she had to look down at most people, her gaze was just off from direct eye contact, all very insecure and submissive tells.

"It's very nice to meet you, master chef Chordata. I just wish the event could have been.. gentler." She said shaking Tinnun's wing gently but with a firm grip before letting go and putting her wings behind her back. She also took a step back not wanting the other Rito to feel crowded, considering the actual crowd was already quite thick here. "If I knew where you were staying I could bring you the rupees later when things will be calmer. Just as well we don't go there now, I suppose, I'm a little to hun- I mean tired! Too tired to fly back immediately," she stumbled over her words almost letting slip how she had flown too much and eaten too little today. As kind and forgiving as Tinnun was Krysanthia could not imagine asking for anything to eat would look very good until she had her rupees in hand. So she tried to ignore the protests of her stomach and the tantalizing smell of the chefs wares. "Besides, maybe I should stay here for now, in case something happens and the healers need an extra hand." she continued, changing the subject. She could see over the heads of the spectators to where the armored Goron victor stood triumphantly, knives still protruding between the plates of his armor. He looked as if he did not even feel them, and considering Goron physiology, maybe he didn't. She could not see his former opponent or the medic but the crowd did not seem disturbed so she hoped that meant the other man was going to be fine.

Mmm, ditto to the picking wisely, but nothing wrong with one or a few RPs at a time. All the better to focus your energies.
Yeah, all that still stands so welcome back from your hiatus. And don't worry, if I can figure things out (slowly but I am) after being gone years, you will probably have no trouble :3
Welcome to the guild, glad you decided to join us! Plenty of fantasy here so I think you'll find what you are looking for.
