That cracked me up, great answer. Seriously, though, I like that as a change of pace. I usually have chars w all or parts of their story I don't want everyone to know day one. Skye's background isn't a preffered secret but IC she would be reluctant to get into details about recent events so... yeah, works for me. (So does less work atm...)

Well, I'm officially cleared to join team Jumpercable ^_^ Working on the CS now. I want to post it here on the OOC for review, it will probably need much in the way of tweaking for balance. My char is getting into a rare way of using Dust, and getting into it deep. I've found very little info on putting Dust in one's body.

Yeah, not too much on tattoos there but thank you for the help anyway. I really don't want to break rules, not my thing, so... what if I just post my idea and get some feedback on if it's going too far.

Imagine a girl in a dwindling group of survivors who suddenly finds herself the last person worth a damn for fighting. She also finds herself in possession of a substantial amount of Dust. But she lacks the ability to create the kind of high class weapons hunters use, in fact the weapons available are overall 'not great.' Solution: put Dust into tattoos for more power behind those weapons. Result: weapons consistently break putting herself and others in greater danger. New solution: become the weapon. She sews small crystals into her body, adds extensive Dust infused tattoos, and creates vials of Dust diluted by water. She tried consuming pure Dust but that was extremely painful and wrecked her digestive system. Even the diluted form continues to aggravate the damage. New Result: she gained enough physical speed, strength, and durability to go one on one with many kinds of Grimm and rip them apart with her bare hands.

So, yeah. I feel my idea could really be pushing or surpassing reasonable limits.

Aw, yeah Sho is pretty cool :3 And hey, my char does not have a weapon yet for coming out of the wilderness pretty recently. Her preference to focus on her body partly grew out of mundane weapons frequently breaking on her and nearly killing her half the time. But a proper weapon in the future that won't shatter in her face? Could change how she chooses to support the team. But again I really need more data about what happens to people when they put Dust into their bodies. Most of this character concept relies on that information.

Oh hey! I actually know (sort of) Sho. Awesome. My current concept is more of a tank with the option of hand to hand.... um, more berserker than refined martial artist. Her style is not pretty starting off, very brutal and centered on killing an attacker as fast as possible. Raw, anything goes, survival at any cost mentality. Not an unstoppable killing machine though, she literally can't hurt anything with pure intentions. Ah, that's getting off topic though. Two assassins and one tank on the team, and then a tank/striker hybrid? Opinions? I mean I kinda like the idea but RP ain't just about the One.

Lmao, wow. Lots of calls for jumpercable, there. Kinda wish I could be everywhere at once but I only have plans for one char. At least for now. Would a general idea of what I had in mind help? Probably stepping up for Jumpercable if I can but opinions on if the char would fit? Very short version: Faunus, fighter that prefers to use her body as the weapon (my understanding is that some people put Dust right into their bodies, but I really need to know the limits on that) armored coat unless survival requires speed. Having some serious issues physically and socially, readjusting to civilized life after years of 'stuck in wilderness' BS (she did harsh things to her body in the name of survival) Not a loner by nature, wants to reconnect to people, but the ordeals and relatively recent loss are making that difficult.

Of course, any of this is subject to change and it's pretty basic first stage concepts. But... helpful?

Yeah I imagine among the players it wouldn't be a big deal, especially if many are already Faunus. But I did get the impression from what (admittedly little) I know about the world it was a noteworthy issue. Anywhen, I still need to wait for the official Yes or No so fingers crossed.
