As expected of being borned with the exquisite beauty of the Hatake, Mikan's appearance is deceitfully defined as an industrial and alluring woman with an old soul. Her long flowing white hair compliments her ivory skin with a mole from her upper left cheek, and thick eyelashes that stunningly draws the attention of men. Mikan's hazel-brown eyes are visibly seen with her cut bangs, accentuating her energetic yet intimidating stare.
She stands 5'0 given that she practices healthy living and eats her signature food, orange. As a Hatake, a farmer clan means healthy and gorgeous genes. Her wardrobe is the most modern among her peers, to the point she's not considered a ninja, she prefers monotonous colors, from cardigans, furred jackets, scarves, short-pants exposing her thick thighs,and modern sandals.

Mikan is the incarnation of pride which stemmed from her pampered upbringing, bolstered with constant praises of excellence even in the small and petty things. She's moody, boisterous, vain, and lacks respect for the people surrounding her and most of all mocks tradition despite its major contribution to the peace times today, conceitedly, Mikan boasted of redefining what a ninja is supposed to be than clinging to their dogmatic principles. Her talent is what drove her away from acting like a normal person, the problems she deals with is the ninja code, contrary to their teachings, Mikan is disobedient of the ninja code and treats it like a sport. She is in fact, poisoned by her belief of being the Hatake's chosen one given their selective choice of training those with white hair, since there are so little white-haired Hatake, Mikan claimed all the glory to herself.

The Hatake are hardly recognized as a ninja family because only its white-haired kin are trained in the shinobi-arts while its main body are Farmers . This dogmatic view is backed up by their belief that the god of lightning, blessed, the white-haired kin with exceptional battle prowess and inhumane adaptibility in any difficult situation. Unfortunately, this is false, as those with white hair simply lacked pigmentation and melanin from birth, making them no different from non-powered ninja. Mikan is privileged to be a ninja because of her clan's beliefs, her abilities are honed to a prodigious level through sheer dedication and hard work of the art, like her white-haired keen, Mikan has the natural affinity for the white-colored lightning release due to their unique chakra signature that glows white.

The term bloodline often slandered the Hatake family's intellegence interchangeably by renowned clans throughout the ninja world. Mikan is the Hatake's peerless ace since the late Hokage, Futaba, hardworking and genius blends harmoniously due to her capacity to create jutsu. She possesses both a curious mind and a photographic memorization along with an innovative mindset, all three at once that made her a recent international star among the Kenjutsu practitioners in the world. Mikan is a time-cutting learner, she finds shortcuts to mitigate the time cost of learning which stemmed from her constant abusive desire to learn anything, particularly found in Kenjutsu.
This talent is strongly rivaled by Uchiha Nozomi, the daughter of the 12th Hokage, Uchiha Satoru. Kaisouken (Blade Steal)Blade Steal is a technique that is derived from Mikan's intensive weapons knowledge, where Mikan uses her exceptional insight to deduce and mimic another opponent's styles, for instance, swordsmanship or technique through rapid analysis. She can grasp most forms in a couple of minutes and even discover its flaws and seconds to create improvised versions of it, which leaves a bad taste on the original owner of the technique. Likewise, Mikan earnestly trains her mind and body to better adapt into forms that are seemingly impossible to execute and unto her hands, she makes it possible.
