"You need to get out more in that case. Hey as a reward for cheering me up, I'm going to tell you a secret. Flood isn't my real name." Flood said in a whispered tone. " So what else do you like to do besides reading?" He asked changing the topic without even realizing it again.

Flood smiled at her. "Thank you. Maybe you're right, but either way I need a solution, even if it's temporary. This is affecting me too much." Flood said as he looked around. "It's good to know I have friends in this school though. Sorry if I've been complaining, what's up with you? Anything special happen to you recently?"

She stood, grabbing her food and she went over to the table and sat next to him. "Hey, you okay?" she asked, setting her food down.(i know, i know, blah blah blah, i get it! But, someone needs to take course of action, and i guess it has to be me.... Now hush, you criticizers)

Because of that, I'm treated like an outcast or worse, I'm treated like a punching bag. Not a literal one, I would easily kick their asses in a fight but a verbal one. It doesn't matter where you go, people are opinionated bigots." Flood said with a bit of sorrow, as he picked at his food. "It's become so bad that I'm becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. The voices are going away, but the only reason why is because their thoughts are becoming a part of my normal thought pattern. I don't know if my genetics make me more susceptible to insanity, but I can feel it. It's creeping up on me. I haven't slept in 3 days, every time I go to sleep the things I see devour my sanity. It won't stop. Dont ever envy my healing factor. I'm practically invulnerable with my healing factor, but the trade off isn't worth it. " Flood finished as he teared up slightly. He was going insane. The lack of human contact and isolation would drive anyone mad. He needed friends, who wouldn't judge him.
