"So you're using me to do it?" stated Meruin. Well, she didn't mind. Beating her and helping Tyler would just be hitting two birds with one stone then. "I'll have to challenge you again sometime in the future, now that I think about it. You're responsible for one of the biggest milestones I've had so far, so I can use you to measure just how much I've improved."

Tyler immediately began sweating. "There's no need to do that." He sounded highly nervous.

Meruin nodded. "We are, although it seems we have to wait until Lady Chase is done with her lessons. Weren't you going to attend them, by the way?" she asked. "Oh, also, if you're free, I'll need you to help me with a few spells I plan to use against Mithrail. You don't need to do much."

"I'm always free. Besides, I want to wipe that smug grin off of her face. I just don't want to enough to risk my position." Tyler explained with a smile.

"Sure, that's multiplayer." He grabbed the box and inserted the disk into the console. He started up the game and grabbed three controllers. "Let's play." After a couple of hours he looked at the time. "You guys are probably going to want to go to your rooms or something. You can stay if you want, it's just late and stuff. I know you guys are going to need sleep." He suggested as he looked at them both.

"Whatever I can get my hands on really. Which is surprisingly a lot of stuff." He picked up his mattress and revealed that the back was cut open. He ripped it open to reveal various different games, guns, small amounts of cash, and an ornate Katana.

"Are we still going on that field trip?" Tyler asked. He really was quite excited for it.

Ryan stepped up and smiled. "Two teams of four huh? Alright, whoever wants to pass the class and crush all competitors in your way, join my team." He said with the utmost confidence. "I promise you that if you join my team, nobody shall stand in your way."

Tyler frowned. 'And here I was thinking I could get a free show. Drat.' He thought to himself. He ignored Meruin's glare and looked at her calmly. "You're going to fight her soon anyways. Just thought I would help speed things up." He said in a low tone so Mithrail wouldn't hear. "Do you think she dislikes fire? I know I would with all those wind spirits." He winked at Meruin and whistled casually.
