GMs: Floodtalon, Cynder All aboard the Soul Train!
Rules As far as the "nobody knows your identity" goes, there will be exceptions to this rule: best friends, siblings, parents, partners, etc. Play around with that! Everyone MUST have a secret or a reason for their terrors – but, do not reveal in the CS, flesh it out during the Roleplay! Since this Persona, romance is permitted! In fact, encouraged. But if you want sexy time, you do sexy time in PMs and not in the Roleplay. You'll get a warning if you start drama outside of the Roleplay, after that, you'll be kicked from the Roleplay. Not a rule, but I'd really love to see some proper grammar and character development here. Take your time when writing a response. If you have any questions, PM me or ask here in the thread, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Only one warning for godmodding, power-playing or meta-gaming. Do not kill another player's character without their permission. It is okay to attack their character, but not kill them. As a follow-up to the two previous rules: do not control another's character without their consent. Listen to the Co-Mods, they have the same powers that I do. Do not speed-post. There will not be a posting order, but I don't want two pages between just two people, alright? Enjoy the Roleplay and all the chaos to come! CS [ Your Image for appearance goes here. May be real life or anime, just no pornography. ] Real Name [ Simple enough, your real, full name goes here. ] Alias [ Your alias on Soul Train. ] Gender [ Male or female. ] Age [ Varies. Can be badass or superhero-like, whatever suits your needs. Could even be casual.] Occupation [ What do you do for a living? What school do you attend? Tyler awoke to a hospital room surrounded by people taking off helmets. He took off his helmet with a bit of struggle and looked at his arms. "Yup, I'm back home all right. Just as many scars as before." He commented to himself as he saw multiple people reuniting with family members. He looked around for his dad and saw no one. He sighed and pressed the call nurse button near him.

Flood collapsed on the floor and smiled. "Looks like it's the end of my dream life. It was fun while it lasted." He looked at everyone smiling and laughing. "Good for them. I'm glad I had friends." He whispered to himself as he began crying with a smile on his face. 'Maybe one day... One day I can make SAO again. But without the death.' He thought with a hopeful grin. " Good bye."
Flood opened up his inventory and began grabbing out weapons that he had hoarded over the years. He then started throwing all of them at the boss. Then he used another Sword Skill to attempt to end it.
I sent you a PM.
Makoto looked at the intricacies of the mask Flood had made. She agreed with Phoebe. "Yeah, the inside looks so intricate, wouldn't it be uncomfortable? Could you depict multiple people's fear at once?" She wondered allowed. If many people were looking at the mask at once, then it would have to project many different fears, or a common fear.
" It cannot depict multiple fears at once. Yet. I'm working on a way to make one glance at the mask cause fear for ten minutes at a time. And I don't need to worry about it being uncomfortable." He grabbed a small part of the mask to reveal the mask had a cover for the switches. "I'm not going to reveal how my mask works. If I did then everyone could make one." He said in a somewhat offended tone. "I'm not stupid."
All aboard the Soul Train! Heat has taken the state of Colorado by storm. It is now mid-June and the school districts are now on vacation in the sleepy town of Bedford. As a result, more and more students have begun to tune into the daily Soul Train radio program which runs on the local classic rock station between the hours of one to five AM. Though insomnia is a trend now, it is not during the school year. And that's where we find our heroes and heroines. Whether you're a middle school or high school student, a college student or a grown adult, you've been part of the program for a majority of the year . . the past couple of years, even. Taking up a fake alias, you join in a talk-show along side of various other anonymous users from around your town until you are able to counter your night terrors and ultimately succumb to sleep. Everyone on the Soul Train has secrets. . . or so the rumor goes. And it's very much the truth. Everyone on the Soul Train has a secret of their own, a reason for their night terrors. A story to tell and a fear to overcome and not even that – a secret life? Ratings have never been higher for the Soul Train. And that's because the regulars have begun to take up arms . . . against their own nightmares? Oh, did we forget to mention that portion? I suppose so! As it is so, the ratings for Soul Train have never been higher! As of recent, the night terrors have been creating a much more powerful influence over the town. The physical manifestations of people's night terrors begun to rabidly roam the streets at night while some are in deep REM state. Terrorizing and roaming about, they cause much chaos for the town and the only ones to strike them down? A series of masked, anonymous users of the Soul Train, armed to the core and ready to protect what they care about. The only secret is your own . . and your identity. Nobody knows who you are besides yourself. Nobody else who participates in Soul Train or listens to it has a clue as to who you are. You are a hero of the night and the only thing that people know you by is your . . . alias? Of course, you're not completely hidden from secrecy. Your heroics are widely acknowledged by members of Bedford, though some may only treat you and the others are "town rumors" or "town lore". Word hasn't gotten outside of Bedford quite yet, but there's a belief that if the nightmares spread, then more heroes will rise. But nobody acknowledges your actions more than your listeners. Every night, Soul Train is bombarded by listeners, asking for advice or asking questions to their idols, their heroes. Some members of Soul Train become so involved in this activity that they've begun to carry handheld radios in order to keep up with their fans! Though your tactics, weapons, weaponry and anything else will vary, depending on your personal tastes. Be wary though – you might just give yourself away! But the most unique portion of anyone who is a member of Soul Train? The fact that they can have a companion at their side. No, no, not the other members of Soul Train, but you are able to fight with anyone you choose, of course. The fact that they are fighting along side of themselves -- well, a portion of themselves. A part of their soul. Persona. A Persona, a weapon, your fans and a team of allies are your side seems great, right? But who knows how people would react if they found out it was you? Remember to stay alive, keep your identity a secret and stay in the game. . . The night is alive. And you're one of the first people to get a taste of it.
Poison Ivy... Makoto realized that she was going to really work on catching up on some old time hero/villain news. With a name like that, It was no wonder Phoebe had controlling vines as her power. Phoebe's description of the situation, though brief, seemed rather heated. Makoto decided that she wouldn't touch the subject anymore. It sounded both personal and sensitive. Makoto turned to look at Flood as he spoke about the mask. She turned away by the time he brought it to his face. "That is both an amazing weapon and making me uncomfortable." She said to Flood. She didn't even want to know what her deepest fear was. There were lots of things she feared and in her current emotional state, she didn't think there was much she could handle. The events of yesterday ever gnawed on her. "Maybe save that for a real fight?" She suggested. Makoto wanted to offer her assistance to Phoebe and Ryan but with it being about their engagement and all... it seemed like something she should leave to them to sort out.
"Don't worry it's not on." He took off the mask and showed her the inside. There was a tinny button inside along with several switches and knobs.
