The Character
Name: Ryan Chideta
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: Ryan is 4"11 with a relatively skinny build, he weighs just above 100 pounds. He has naturally blue hair which is typically brushed so his bangs are in front of his left eye. He has several scars all over his body which he covers with long concealing clothing. His eye color is blue while his left eye is completely yellow. He thinks it's ugly so he covers up his left eye with his hair. He always wears jackets and jeans so he can cover up as much skin as possible. He sometimes wears gloves but he finds them uncomfortable so he will leave his hands uncovered.
Personality: Ryan is first and foremost a street rat. He has been in an orphanage in Haven for a very long time and lost his parents at a young age. Because of that he has problems with figures of authority and older people in general. He tends to be very stubborn and dislikes asking for help. Ryan gets bored easily and due to that he will do many things to many people for entertainment. It's not so much that he's a troublemaker, it's more that he doesn't know how to keep himself occupied. He tends to be somewhat pessimistic but he knows that there is good in the world. He just wants to know where. He has no friends and because of that can be very akward in social situations. He tends to just walk away if he gets into a conversation he doesn't want to be in. Has a bit of a Napoleon Complex.
Capabilities: Ryan's upbringing involved a lot of theft and running. He has gotten very good at theft and running. He's fast in a fight and faster at escaping one. He knows how to talk his way out of any situation and if that fails he can throw some dirt in a guy's eyes and take him down. He's practically a master of dirty fighting. He has shown a talent for spells but is afraid to use them for various reasons. If he was to get over that fear he would be an almost untouchable force in battle as he shot out fireballs and windstroms to stir up dust clouds, where he would then implement hit and run strategies. Or as he likes to call them, "Hit and Fun" strategies.
Weaknesses: If you can force Ryan into a corner he's screwed. He depends on large open spaces so he can have the advantage of fast movement during battle. He's also not very good at up close battles despite being a wielder of the Keyblade. If you can stay close to him and not give him a chance to run away then you've practically defeated him. He also has a fear of darkness and clowns.
History: Ryan's parents died at a very young age. Ever since he was six he has lived either on the streets or in an orphanage. Either way he always stole stuff from street vendors so he could live. His left eye is completely yellow and because of that people thought he was a Heartless in human form. He had to steal food so he could stay healthy and whenver he was caught he was beat. At the age of 12 he joined a public school where he learned many things. A few months in he got bored so he decided to pull a prank on the entire school. He was going to be loved he had thought. Little did he know. He got his hands on some spells, he was going to use a wind spell to blow away all the papers in the school. He had no knowledge of the magical power he had. Ryan ended up creating a tornado which killed everyone in the school. After that he was heavily traumatized and required years of therapy. A few months in he wandered into a forest of darkness. He wandered through the darkness for 7 days and 7 nights. On the seventh day his keyblade appeared to him and showed him how to see through the dark. After finding his way out he was found by the Legion. This brings us to the present where he has been drafted into Keyblade Master's Academy to learn how to wield the power inside of him.
The Blade
Name: Ventus Morientis

... Do you hear it? They whisper ancient secrets...

... But they know, that even they shall one day perish...Ventus Morientis is of an interesting design. It has no hand guard, the blade is double sided unlike most keyblades, and most importantly it seems to be two different keyblades. One side is "wavy" as it appears to be smooth and perfectly made, the blade is in the form of a crescent moon. While the other side is "jagged" it looks like a preschool kid made it as it juts out at weird angles, clearly made to hurt humans instead of Heartless, the blade takes the form of half of the Heartless emblem. The part of it leading up to the blade is half black and half white.
Strength: Ventus Morientus is made for speedy confrontations. You move in and go for a couple of solid hits and you move back out before you get hit. It's designed to be as fast as possible. It's a one handed weapon which means that casting spells with it is also very easy.
Weaknesses: Blocking is not an option. Without a hand guard you're more likely to get your hand cut off then you're going to block any solid hit.
