I unfortunately can't post because we haven't reached my dungeon yet. I don't know what's going on in the story, but maybe that would be a good way to revitalize this. A new dungeon could make things exciting.

Cobalt Chideta

Cobalt sighed and tossed his wallet on the table. He cursed lightly under his breath and began to speak. "Pay for whoever needs to be payed for Oswald. I have to go take care of this." He had fully expected something like this to happen, but not in front of so many people. This was going to take some work to fix. Cobalt pushed his chair out and walked towards where Diamond had run off to.

It took a little running but he caught up to her quickly. "Is there any particular problem you have with me? I get it, I fucked up last night. I'm trying to fix it okay! I payed for like, five people just now so I could try and make up for my mistake!" He was yelling now and getting quite frustrated. He took a deep breath and sighed. "I didn't ask to be the leader you know, if I had been listening when Headmaster Ozpin said I was then I sure as hell would've declined. Do you want to be leader or something? I can make that happen. Probably." He wasn't too sure about that last part actually. He would have to talk to Headmaster Ozpin about that one.

"Oswald told me the whole story. I'm not gonna claim I'm any better or worse than your last teammate. I'm going to be the best that I can though. But I can't be that best unless I have a team to back me up. I'm not asking to be friends, although I do want to be. I'm asking for another chance. So can we please start over? I'm Cobalt Chideta, it's nice to meet you." Cobalt reached his hand out and smiled.

Ryan finished his tea and smiled. A few more minutes passed and he sighed. "Is everyone else good? I have finished my tea." Ryan said as he put his cup down on a nearby table.

That would be very disappointing. I quite liked the idea of this RP. But now we're dead like all the cannon fodder ANBU.

Ryan also accepted the cup of tea. Personally he preferred coffee, but it would be rude to say no. A few minutes passed and Ryan smiled. "This is the most peace we've gotten all journey I think."

People were beginning to pour in as time least on and Ryan moved onto Math. While it's far from his worst subject, probably his best as a matter of fact, he still needed to study all of this material he had missed during the transfer. He opened up his new book and began scanning the pages. This was promptly interrupted. Ryan jerked as he heard a scream coming from a table nearby. He dropped his book on his foot by accident, a heavy book at it, and let out a quiet curse. He looked up and saw some girl being harrased by two older guys. Ryan glared at this interruption with a crown and shook his head. One of them stopped and began his own studying but then spoke up once more. These people were annoying, it's not like they were the center of the world. Other people study here too! Ryan picked his book up and let out a deep sigh.

"Excuse me, could you refrain from being so boisterous? We are currently in a public library you know. Where people study. In peace." Ryan glared at the guy before he opened his book back up and continued his reading. Honestly some people were just so rude. No respect for the sanctity of the library. What was the rule on exponents again?

'There is nothing I could do to make this guy mad.' Ryan thought to himself as he bowed his head. "Its very nice to see you again. You probably don't remember me but I'm Professor Sycamore's assistant."

Cobalt looked over at Sapphire and frowned. He didn't like this girl very much, she seemed to be a very negative person. He was going to ignore her for now but he didn't think they would ever get along.

"I have a saying that I typically stick by. The first impression should always be great, cause it may be the last as well. That's why I'm a little stressed about how I'm coming off to everyone." Cobalt explained to Oswald after he told him to relax. Then Gren came back and Cobalt tilted his head.

"Wait what? I'm the leader?" He thought back to his initial conversation with Headmaster Ozpin and frowned.

One Day Ago

Cobalt nodded and smiled as he listened to the headmaster explain where he was going to be staying and such. As he zoned out and thought about how cool Beacon was, Ozpin continued to talk."You will be the leader of your team and as such will be responsible for all of them. They are on a mission but should be back later today." Cobalt vaguely acknowledged all of this as he thought about whether or not he should make a welcome back feast. Nothing too big probably. Ozpin coughed to get his attention and Cobalt's eyes focused. "Oh, yes of course! I'll get out right now! You're a busy man and I don't want to keep you waiting for me!" Cobalt got out of his chair and began to leave when Ozpin spoke. "You're forgetting your schedule Mr. Chideta. We wouldn't want you to be tardy." Cobalt chuckled and grabbed it from the desk. " Sorry." He backed out of the room and closed the door. Damn. That guy really knows how to make a guy feel at home. He's so calm all the time.

Present

"Oh yeah. Huh." Cobalt really should've played better attention when Headmaster Ozpin was talking. "I am not the type of guy to go blindly charging in. Unless I'm bored and I have at least a 96.438152 percent chance of winning the encounter. Then yeah I'll probably go charging in blindly." He smiled at the end of that statement and drank some more water. He put the glass backed down and his eyes twinkled. "I'm far from stupid."

Gren mentioned a party and energy practically began to radiate off of Cobalt. "Are we heading to any bars? I've been told I'm a fun drunk." He did not come from a town with good nor strict bouncers. Alcohol was a very available thing for him. "Wait who's Sapphire's uncle?"

Cobalt began drinking a lot of water as more and more people showed up. He was not going to be able to pay for all of these people. God this new guy who approached was kinda scary too. One guy spoke up about paying and Cobalt practically collapsed on himself as all of his tension released. "Oh thank god, I wasn't sure if I could pay for this many people." Cobalt wiped his brow and let out a sigh of relief.

Emerald spoke up and he put his water down. Cobalt sighed and ran his thumb over his knuckles. "Yeah, that was another reason I invited you guys here today. I feel like I made a bad impression today and I wanted to start over. I'm Cobalt Chideta. I hope I make for a good team and that fortune smiles upon us always." Cobalt actually pushed his seat out and got up. He bowed formally with his head looking down. He then pulled his chair back in and sat back down. Cobalt blushed slightly and smiled.
