Ryan looked up and saw Ayano standing near him asking about his manga. He took a quick glance around to make sure she wasn't talking to anyone else and stared at her. His gaze brightened somewhat as he thought of a response. "The series is a bit complicated and it has a very deep lore. Let me think for a second... Well, the series is about-" Ryan was then soundly interrupted by a new person.

The new person had an aura of confidence about them, practically the exact opposite of Ryan. He seemed to know about RWBY though, so he was alright in his book. "Yeah, that's exactly what it's about. There's a Japanese dub out right now if you're interested. It's the first American anime to be dubbed in Japan." Ryan smiled and looked at the new boy. "Although I must ask as well, who are you? I'm Ryan Chideta, a recent transfer student." Ryan closed his manga and reached out his hand for a handshake.

Ryan walked out of class with a frown on his face. It was strange, he was close to catching up completely but he was still unhappy. He was going to do very well grade wise, yet nobody was around to see his good grades. His mother was constantly busy and his father was... yeah. He headed over to the Anime and Manga club and sat down at a close desk. He pulled out a copy of the new RWBY manga, he watched the show on YouTube, and began reading.

After a few minutes he looked up and realized that he was the only one there. Man, he was a real loser. Showing up more often than the actual president. He shrugged and went back to his manga. He didn't have anyone to impress.

Chen shrugged and began sipping at his alcohol. Beggars can't be choosers after all. He turned towards the tv that was showing Agatha and Azrael and smiled. He briefly considered activating The High Priestess just to analyze them but decided against it. That would make future fights boring.

Chen smirked and flopped into one of the seats at the bar. "Do you have anything against serving minors? Because I would love a shot of whiskey or two." He put on his most charming grin and slapped a 20 dollar bill onto the table.

They nerfed him hard though. The homing attack isn't nearly as broken.

Cobalt Chideta-Dorms

Cobalt double checked all of his equipment that he had prepared last night. Then he triple checked and checked once more just for good measure. He had taken some sleeping pills last night just to make sure he got a good amount of sleep for the mission and he prepared all of his stuff 12 hours in advance. He looked over to Diamond and smiled. That was kind of her, maybe she was getting over the whole gun in her face thing.

"No thanks Diamond, I'm good. Wait Emerald, we're supposed to leave as a team! God damn it." Why did Ozpin set him up as a leader again? This was such a bad decision on his part. 'At least this will be an easy mission.' Cobalt put on his coat and boots, brushed his hair out of his face, threw on the 27 Smasher onto his back, and put on his backpack full of ammo, food, and any other essentials.

"Are we all good, nobody is missing anything? Speak now or forever hold your peace!" He waited a moment for Oswald or Diamond to respond and nodded resolutely. "Ok, we're all set. Let's head to the Commons Area!" Cobalt heard Diamond's scroll get a message and looked at her. He then looked at the clock and sighed.

This past week had been intense. He nearly destroyed any possible trust between himself and Diamond, sorta fixed it, fought a Megaladeus! And that party was insane, he never knew that Gren could handle so much alcohol. 'I still want those damn rocket boots.' Cobalt looked over his stuff again and nodded. "Alrighty then, let's head out." He walked out the door and headed towards the Commons Area. People moved out of his way surprisingly fast, then again he did look pretty scary.

He arrived there in a timely fashion and looked at their supervisor. "Good morning Ms. Vanhomrigh. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Etiquette seemed to be the way to go with this teacher.

Ryan woke up in the morning with a terrible headache. He took a few pills to dull the pain and considered not going to school. A few minutes later he had his backpack and he was walking to school. He groaned a little as he felt his heavy backpack drag him down. Perhaps he should only bring one book of manga every day instead of ten. He probably should've brought the pills with him. Oh god why didn't he bring the pills with him?

Ryan arrived at school and headed straight to class. He pulled out a manga and laughed at its absurdity. This helped distract him from his headache, this was pretty crazy. People summoning their personality to battle demons. And to do so they had to accept their problems. How insane! Ryan could never do something like that. At least the main character was cool. "I can relate to you Door-Kun. You have such a crazy life." The bell rang and Ryan put away the manga. He still needed to catch up on school a little.

Cobalt watched the entire situation with a passive gaze. It was better to let them sort out their own problems, stepping in would make them reliant on others help. He would've stepped in if things got too bad though. When Gren called everyone over, Cobalt got up with a minor sigh as he stretched out his limbs.

He walked over to Gren and nodded. "Nice handling of the situation. It's good to see that not everyone solves problems by punching them." Cobalt looked at Gren and muttered something to himself. He shook his head and spoke a little louder. "Does the offer on getting me Rocket Boots still stand?" He asked with a hopeful tone. Rocket Boots sounded super cool.
