Appearance
Golden horns sprout out of Tomi golden locks of blond hair. Her eyes are also the color of wealth, betraying her origins as a Gold Dragon. The time of great flying scaly lizards are long gone, however, and nowadays people will meet Tomi under the guide of a pale skinned medium sized monster girl with a great tail covered by iron strong scales. Most time, she liked to dress as little as possible or, to be precise, as lazily as possible and only wear a kind of veil or loose clothings, but if necessity arise Tomi will be wearing golden scale-like armor over her arms, legs, shoulders and chest, leaving her belly area exposed. That armor seemingly appears at will when needed, as are a pair of dragon wings that seamlessly appear and disappear from her lower back.
Personality
Tomi is lazy. She likes sleeping, and anything that is low effort. While most other dragons have an arrogant attitude towards everyone else, Tomi mostly have an uninterested approach in all things - except treasures and what she considers as. Of course, her uninterested approach can also lead her to be seen as arrogant, but she doesn't necessarily mean bad by it as it is part of her nature, and dragons are after all ruled by instinct more than most other monsters.
Abilities
Dragon Wings - Tomi has seemingly no wings, but can seamlessly make them appear or disappear from her lower back and take flight if necessary. An ability born from dragon natural abilities mixed with a bit of magic.
Inferno - No surprises her to anyone who's ever stepped outside or read a book - as other members of her species, Tomi has access to her fire breathing ability. Whether in human form or dragon, her breath seem to have the same destructive power. However it also takes a toll on Tomi, making her very tired...like most other actions she does.
Immense Strength - Perhaps less spread among all species of dragons, Tomi is incredibly strong physically. All dragons are strong and intelligent, but Tomi - or perhaps gold dragons, she never met another one - has access to incredible strength when she feels like putting her back into it.
Dragon Form - As most people are probably aware of due to their original power levels, dragons have not completely fallen under the spell of the New Demon Lord. That is to say, they retained the ability to temporarily change back to their dragon form from before the new Demon Lord took over. This is not often used, unless in dire danger or to carry treasures - or men - back to their lair with ease.
Background
Tomi was born as a dragon monster girl. The first few years of her life were spent with what she guessed was her mother, but ended up quickly being left on her own as was probably custom for Gold Dragons. With the instincts kicking in, she did not struggle that much to carve a place for herself in the wilderness. Life was incredibly lonely, but she actually did not mind it at all and was content with her lot, not even imagining for a second that there could be more to life than this - which was, living as an absolute Ruler of the Earth on anything inside her immediate territory.
Indeed, for it is possible for a dragon to never meet, or mate, with a human male for their whole life contrary to some other monsters. One day, though, Tomi learned of the fate that would befall her if that was to happen and did not exactly enjoy the fact. That is exactly why she made the trip. One day, after she had killed off a few would-be dragon slayers, the still alive 'intellectual' of the group threatened her by telling her what would happen if she was to stay around here all her life. Tomi did not believe at first, and set out to do some research which included books, libraries and maybe even speaking to other dragon monster girls. Sadly - or not, depending on your position on this whole monster girl business - what the man had said was true. Annoyed but determined, Tomi left her territory to seek a mate. Not anyone would do, though, as it would have to be a worthy human male that stroke her fancy.
Her travels and goal was what led her, one way or another, to Akamagaseki island and to Lady Kyouko. Not having been fruitful in her quest, Tomi came to the conclusion that if she was to meet someone worthy and special, she would have to surround herself with worthy and unique people. What better way to stumble upon powerful individual than to follow other decently powerful beings on some sort of quest. Yes, Tomi would tag along and help, if necessary - but not before taking a nap on that ship...
Favorite Monster Girl: Honestly has no ideas, but I think I gotta go with Dragon 'cause those are the ones that caught my fancy.

I read some people write about clans and families, I am/was under the impression it was monster girls families. So if I want to play something more like a devil, succubus or any other half animals monster girls, they either were humans before or formed from mana?

From what I gather, not all Monster Girls are changed from Humans, right? I saw some that are and some that aren't, and the Wiki is massive and I had a hard time separating the smut from the lore. Lol.
I have been searching for images that jogs my imagination for a character. Might have found something. Now will go through CS's to get a general idea of what we got and what we're searching for and come up with something. x_x

Haven Academy, Celestial SwanMentions
As with the rest of the students, Artemisia soon found herself in the large room with the rest of the academy newcomers. A quick look around revealed her the location of Midori, the student she spoke with right before coming in here. She also spot the taller guy she almost had a fight with. Truth be told, he was hard to miss with his 6'5 height, towering over the others near him. The rest were unfamiliar faces, except maybe for a few who seemed to draw attention back when they were outside.
In a way, headmaster Lockhart was as Artemisia imagined. She looked like an experienced Huntress and spoke like one, with an assured tone and going to the point, something which the red head respected a lot. Her speech, however, was different than what may have been expected from a Headmaster. Then again, it made sense. This wasn't some school, it was a Hunter Academy. Everyone here would soon risk their lives: while studying to become a hunter and for the rest of their lives. If this speech would deter anyone from marching on, then surely they were in the wrong place to begin with.
Artemisia listened intently to the speech, as was expected of her, then confirmed her identification card was in the pamphlet. After the whole thing, she left and headed straight to the Hotel. Everyone would end up over there anyway, so if they had to discuss might as well be in the comfort of the Hotel. Once over there, she would check in, find a comfortable enough seat in the main lobby and crashed in it, sighing deeply.
"Patience? Man... that's just plain bad luck." Artemisia...wasn't known for her patience. Still, orders were orders. Maybe there was some kind of place to practice while waiting in this Hotel?

Tales of Symphonia. That has been my favourite RPG for a long time, and in part my English Teacher too as I wanted to get better at it to play that damn game.
