Kay listened to him as she looked around and found herself walking over to a cherry blossom tree, placing her hand delicately on it and smiling. "it's amazing, it's so peaceful here" she remarked before looking over her shoulder and back at him, her eyes getting the blue hue back as she calms down. "I can't believe this is here, this house just amazes me more and more John. What you can do is incredible" she told him honestly, turning round properly and leaning against the tree to face him.

Chas did understand where she was coming from, but he was sure if they needed boxes for any reason then they'd find some on any floor. Yet in his expertise of breaking into places somewhat on a regular basis because of helping John, he knew what he was talking about. He wasn't exactly proud of the illegal activities he had to do to help John, but he knew it was the only way most of the time. He pressed the button to call for the lift when they got there, finding luckily that the lift was already on their floor as the doors instantly opened. He let Serena walk in first before following suit and pressed the button for the fourth floor.
Kay nodded, glad that he was willing to join her for some fresh air. She walked with him to the back and still couldn't fully understand how he had a back garden inside the house. Then she reminded herself that nearly everything in this place was magical and was probably best to not question it. She looked around and sighed like she had an intake of breath and felt fresh air for the first time. "this is beautiful" she commented, starting to smile again.

"that'd be all well and good but we're not pretending to be couriers, we're security. Something tells me security guards don't bring in parcels for people." he explained as he looked at the map, "bingo! The staff break room is up on the fourth floor also, we can use that as our excuse for needing the lift" he said, thinking it was a much better simpler plan than anything else. It also would come across as much more believable.
Kay listened to his reasons and nodded softly, understanding better his reasons. She saw his hands shaking which made her slide her hand down his arm and grabbed his hands, giving them a comforting squeeze. "I get it, I mean...I get it now. It was and still is a lot to take in and I still need to let my mind fully compute it all logically but i'm understanding your reasons. I guess, I guess the reason why it's a shock is because I'm not used having people fight for me in this way. It's been so long since I've had anyone have my back and fight for justice for what I've gone through. It's overwhelming John. I've had to fight alone for just over two years nearly on the streets, it's hard to acknowledge there's anyone out this world who would want to fight by my side" She explained, her tone a lot softer than when she previously spoke to him. "I'm so sorry I snapped at you, you didn't deserve any of that tone." she apologised, not letting go of his hands.

At Serena's question Chas took out his phone and checked his notes that he was forwarded by his contact. "Looks to be on the fourth floor, back left corner of the building" he replied, swiping his figner left to right on the screen to bring up the map. "We'll need the left hand side lift on this floor in the atrium. We just need to get to it without being spotted by the receptionist, or at least, without drawing too much attention to ourselves and why we'd need that lift." he explained, showing her the map of the place, pointing at the places they need as he did so.
Kay looked toward where he was gesturing, wondering how there could be a backyard garden at the back of this mill house. From the outside it didn't seem like there was anything of the sort around but she trusted John and nodded. She was surprised that he was trying to smoking as he seemed the type to only do something if he truly wanted to do it, and smoking seemed like something he wouldn't want to do. It was seeming that she really didn't know him at all, which shouldn't be a surprise to her as they hadn't known each other that long after all. "Then come with me, maybe the fresh air and quiet will help distract you from wanting to smoke" she replied. She did at first want to be alone, but now she was starting to second guess that decision as she could tell from his face that he was just feeling guilty or bad for his decisions. She stepped closer to him and placed her hand on his shoulder, "I don't blame you for wanting to help give me closure John" she told him.

Chas was more than prepared to knock out one of the guards, when Serena took charge and got her shadows to do both of the guards before he could even start creeping closer. SO instead he pulled one of the guards into the closet whilst her shadows pulled the other one, that Serena had already managed to undress mostly. He undressed the other one and quickly changed, making sure they both had the caps, putting it on instantly. He felt glad that some of the uniform fitted over his current clothing, having to only change the jeans he was wearing to the military combat trousers properly and his shoes to the boots. He then dug into his bag and pulled out some gags, where he gagged the guards to keep them quiet if they woke up, then left the closet, locking it up with the keys that he also stole from the guard he 'borrowed' the clothing from. "I'm ready when you are" he said quietly.
In time Kay would see the truth and reality of what he was saying, but right now her mind was racing with so many thoughts and feelings, she couldn't fully sort through them all to see straight. "I.. I'm sorry John, I don't mean to be rude, there's just so much going through my head, I can't compute it all. If you wanna smoke, go ahead, I'm hardly gonna stop you when this is your home" she added, finally stopping her pacing and looking at him. Her grey blue eyes looking more grey than blue as they seemed to change with her mood. "I'm gonna step outside for some air.. I need to get my thoughts into place" she told him. She didn't plan on going far, just to the front door but she hoped if she went outside she would be able to calm down more.

Chas nodded and started walking in with her, "I agree. Something just feels so off with this place." he agreed with her, reaching the gate to which he scanned in the id card to get them both inside. It didn't take too much effort to get far enough in which took them round and behind a couple of security guards. Using signs, he told her to take the one on the left whilst he went for the one on the right. If they could knock them out, they could use their uniforms and ID badges to get where the nurses and doctors couldn't. He also figured as the security had baseball caps, it would help disguise their faces from any cameras around.
Kay listened to what he said to defend the actions of the three of them and their choices for initially keeping it from her. Hearing him out she did get it, she understood the reasonings and if she was honest with herself and the roles were reversed, she probably would have done it the same way, but that didn't stop her from being ever so slightly pissed off that they chose her closure for her. "I'm not going to lie John, I'm quite pissed that the choice of closure has been chosen for me and I've not been given the option of agreeing to have this dealt with or not. But..." she began saying before sighing, "I get it...I'd probably have done the same thing if I was in your shoes." she admitted. "That doesn't mean it overrules my annoyance about this though. If I wanted it dealt with, I would have liked the choice of witnessing the justice take place or not, but now I'm not getting that. I'm being treated like a goddamned damsel in distress and if there's one thing I hate, it's that" She explained, unable to stay seated and found herself getting up and pacing. "I'm touched you wanted to help, that you felt you could do something in some form or another to close that chapter of my life though.." she sighed again, the realisation that two people she hadn't known for long were risking so much for her kicking in. "I can't believe they're risking everything to do this for me" she commented.

Chas had to admit, he was curious to how Serena would accomplish getting an ID card as they couldn't guarantee just having two doctors come out convienently, but low and behold that was exactly what happened. He gave the gesture of 'after you' to Serena, letting her command her shadows to steal the badge they needed, to save him doing the old but trusty 'bump and steal' tactic that he, Zed and John were known to do in the past. When the shadow succeeded in the theft and dropped it into his hands, he smirked, "consider me impressed" he smiled, keeping ahold of the badge in his hands. "shall we?" he asked, holding his arms out as if to 'lets go shall we?'.
Kay stared at John blankly for a moment as she tried to digest what he just told her. She didn't expect or necessarily want anyone to go on a witch hunt for the doctor, even if she did want retribution at times. She felt conflicted on how to react to the news, one part of her wanted to yell and scream at him for making that decision for her and not cluing her in on it, or even asking if it was what she wanted. Yet the other part of her wanted to hug him and thank him starting the process to close that part of her trauma away and end it once and for all. It took about a minute before her brain kicked in and reminded her that she needed to reply to John, as she pulled her legs down, turning so she was sitting on the couch properly, book on the coffee table. She ran her hands through her hair, holding them in place at the back of her neck. "that's why you all kept me out of the kitchen, to decide all of it without asking what I wanted?" she replied, her tone hard to read initially, but as she lowered her hands from her neck, the closing of them into fists showed she wasn't taking it well.

Chas looked up and around and saw the security was pretty much higher than he'd expect it to be, making him wonder why one would need such security measured if it was 'so above board'. The whole place was just suspicious to him and he did not like it one bit. "sneaking in somehow is the only way I think." he said, before pointing at the two security guards just inside. "our best bet would be get their uniforms and go in undercover, but it's getting to them to knock them out and get their uniforms that'll be the tricky bit. If we can get inside, I can find a worker's ID card to swipe for all the extra access" he explained.
Chas nodded at Serena's words. Fully agreeing with her. "I agree with therapy if things are really bad for someone, anything that helps is a good thing, but these places? Never heard a good thing about them."he replied, looking around before walking closer to the building's entrance gate."whatever we do in here it's going to cause one hell of a stir, so we gotta be smart about this" he told her. He just kept getting memories of when John signed himself into Ravenscar years ago and how how much it just broke his friend down before he left. He really hoped that them doing this for Kay and the other kids, that it would break the pain Kay clearly has, and they wouldn't be caught for it.

Kay had to raise an eyebrow at what John was implying when he started talking, her not liking how he began that sentence she wasn't sure she was going to like what was to come next. "what do you mean unfinished business in Seattle?" she asked suspiciously, putting her book and pencil down and looking at him.
Chas gave John a pat on the shoulder to be one last notion of reassurance that everything would be alright. He then walked outside to meet Serena and let her hold his hand as he let her do what she needed to to get them to Seattle. He watched on as the shadows enveloped around them, finding the experience quite overwhelming but did as he was told about not locking his knees together. He found himself out of natural instinct to close his eyes as they seemed to disappear from outside the mill house and were now a few meters away from the imposing building that was Seattle Hospital for youth mental health. Or so the people who owned the building like to call it. He checked she was alright, after gaining his own balance back, then looked toward the building. Just like Ravenscar, it felt like such a cliche typical depressing building to look at. "I'll never like seeing these buildings" he muttered.

*John's Mill House*

Kay looked up when she heard John walk in and ask what she was working on. "just some woodland landscape, was the first thing that came to mind" she smiled as she continued to draw, currently working on her shading and lighting. She shifted slightly to make sure she wasn't taking up all the space on the couch so if he wanted to, he could sit down.
When Serena said she had a much quicker way of getting there, Chas rose an eyebrow but nodded. He decided to trust that if Serena had a quicker and better way of getting there, then he would go with it. "okay" he replied, deciding to grab some protective stuff and anything else they might need just incase it turned more supernatural than they could be prepared for. He didn't think it would be that case, but he wasn't going to take any risks. "think I got anything we could need" he replied, before turning to John, "don't worry John, we'll be fine and back before you know it. Just keep Red safe here" he told him, gesturing toward the main room where Kay was. He had no idea where the nickname came from, especially as Kay wasn't just entirely an redhead but it came out of his mouth before he could stop himself.

He then turned to Serena, "okay, take the lead" he said to her, not knowing how her powers truly worked and was nervous but that wasn't going to stop him trusting her.
