Kay looked at him when he spoke, and she wished she could have said 'it's not your fault' but she couldn't, it was partially down to him but it wasn't entirely his fault. "it wasn't entirely your fault. Sure what you did didn't help matters, but Serena said there was something at play there." she explained. She got up and perched on the edge of his bed, laying down partially beside him. "what's done is done and didn't you tell me just earlier that there's no point in dwelling in guilt?" she pointed out to him, giving him a small smile.

Chas nodded, "John is John and will always be in worse states than everyone else. It's just who he is. To save his own skin he invited a damn demon inside him once. Ended up in prison in Mexico because the demon was taking over and killing people." he explained, "what I'm trying to say is that he's gotten out of worse situations than this. He's just stubborn. I'm not gonna hang around to fuss you, just to give you company and make sure that rune John did doesn't faulter for you during the night" he said to her.

Mika didn't think that Dean was getting ideas about what she was saying, but she wouldn't have put it passed him to pick holes in anything she was saying. He was smarter than most people gave him credit for, that much was true even if others wanted to deny it and just focus on Sam being 'the smart one'. Yet the fact she had even fooled Sam so far as well meant she had to be doing somehwat of a decent job of hiding who she is. It was rather saddening to hear how their dad was treating Sam, but also that Sam seemed to be getting more and more distant about the hunting life compared the others. She certainly never imagined she'd see the day where she'd hear Dean say he wasn't even sure if he wanted his little brother around. "maybe you should let Sam figure that out for himself? It wouldn't be that awful if he did go off to do his own path, he's a smart kid and he hasn'treally known anything normal right?" she replied, acting like she only knew this from what had been told through the grapevine.

"Even if he does decide to stay in one place at some point, he's always going to know you and John are his family and will know who to turn to if he gets into trouble" she said shrugging, taking another bite out of her own pizza. "But are family dramas really what you wanna talk about?" she asked him.

Seeing Anna's eyes go wide at what he said, Sam suddenly questioned if he did the right thing. Yet at the same time he knew that the days he was kept out of the loop, and lied to about why they were always living on the road, it really hurt him and made him frustrated. He listened to what she was saying about the shrine of clippings and addresses about places of so called vampire hang outs and he sighed, nodding recognising it all too well. "Dad does that as well. Uses the information I get for it too, annoyingly. Definitely seems your mom is a hunter and no, " he replied shaking his head, "I don't think what killed your dad was a vampire. WHen you said about a fire killing your dad, it was a fire that killed my mom" he said, he wasn't one hundred percent sure what did it, but he didn't think it was a vampire, it didn't fit their M-O.

Kay felt glad that finally John gave up on trying to protest against her suggestion for them both to rest up for the night. She pushed him into his room and helped him into the bed, even if he didn't feel like he needed it and pushed the chair to the end of his bed so he couldn't get to it easily in the middle of the night. she then sat back down on the chair next to his bed. "That'll teach you for moving in the first place, even if it for a good reason" she told him with a slight smirk.

Chas waved his hand in a manner as if to brush off her comment. "Don't be silly, they know where I am and she's sleeping over at a friend's house tonight anyway according to Renee. I'm right where I need to be" he told her as reassuringly as he could. He also knew that if John got too persistent on trying to leave in the middle of the night, Kay would need his help stopping him. He didn't think he would try anything but he wanted to be here just incase anyway.

NATALIA, MIKA AND SAM

Natalia and Mika both listened as Annabeth spoke and noticably calmed down a bit more as Natalia held her hands to calm the woman. Both were glad that she was starting to trust them all, at least enough to open up a little bit and let them touch her, unlike the last time Natalia tried to put her hand on her arm and she got shrugged off very abruptly. There was a lot of progress there in such a short amount of time which was very reassuring to the both of them. Both looked up as Sam exited the room and Annabeth went to him to point out he was leaving.

Sam just smirked and rolled his eyes at his brother's comeback before he exited the room, he was half expecting out of them all, it to be Annabeth to say something as she really didn't want him to leave. He nodded at her assumption and gave a small smile, "I am, I need to find some information from anywhere I can about who brought Dean back" he explained, just before she offered to come with him, which made him look at the girls and Dean before down at her, "uhh..." he began to say, scratching the back of his neck as he pondered if it was a good idea or not. "Alright, but only because I've seen you can look after yourself, but if I say stay back, please do?" he replied.

With it decided that Annabeth was going to go with Sam and by the sound of Dean's clap of his hands and asking about what to do, Mika looked at him and smiled, sensing he was staying behind just for the time being. She was about to suggest something when Esme beat her to it and suggested spin the bottle. It made her smirk whilst thinking 'oh here we go...a suggestion that Dean won't say no to, this could go south reaaaaaal quick'. "Sure, I'm down if the rest of you are" she replied, looking at Nat and Dean mostly. "I mean.. if it's a truth or dare based spin the bottle then sure, not my usual go to activity with my brother but what the heck" Natalia said with a shrug.

"Don't worry John, as a team we got this" Chas replied, understanding why he was worried but had faith that between them all they could keep both girls safe as well as themselves. "What Chas said" Kay replied, closing her pizza box, saving a few slices for a little later on as she wasn't sure she'd get any sleep whilst both John and Serena were in hospital beds.

She then stood up, plonked her pizza box on John's lap underneath his own and walked to behind his wheelchair. "Lets get you back into the bed before the nurses have a fit that you're up and out of bed" she told John before looking at Serena and Chas, "Eat up both of you and Serena, try and get some sleep okay? I'll pop in a bit later or something after I've helped this one" she said to her, gently patting John's shoulder.

Kay did not like the idea of them sneaking out during the commotion downstairs, so when Serena countered his idea with sense and valid points, Kay nodded in agreement. "she's right John. As much as you wanna get out of here, you're in no state to be able to leave. You got really seriously hurt and you almost died a couple of times on the operating table as it is. I'm with her on this one. We need to try and wait it out until morning like normal pstie ta for once." she said, backing Serena up. She also knew as much as she would love to heal John, the level of his wounds would probably completely wipe her out.

"we just need to make sure nothing happens to your seal" Chas spoke up finally after hearing both girls disagree with John in the way they did. "so I'm with the girls on this one. Three against one John" he added. "two of us are able bodied and can make sure everything goes okay" Kay said once more.

Mika wasn't going to entertain the next question of the cowboy boots with another answer. Instead she just smirked and shook her head. The conversation was already well and truly on to Bobby and she wondered where Dean was going with it all. He hadn't really asked her about Bobby for a long time. Not since he saved her ass from drowning that one siren hunt and she over the edge of a pier with said siren and struggled to get back to the surface. It was no doubt one of the few hunts that she was incredibly grateful for Dean following her and saving her, as she truly thought she was done for. After that, she had no problems with heading back to Bobby's for a few days to recooperate and be scolded by her uncle for being reckless.

She looked up again at him as her own question to him seemed to throw him off guard, glad that she wasn't the only one being thrown off balance metaphorically speaking for a moment or two. She listened to his reply and somehow knew exactly what time he was referring to, even if they had a lot of 'things between them', the memory making her smirk briefly. She found it interesting that Sam stayed with Bobby for a few days, "Sam still not being let on hunts I take it?" she asked, somewhat glad if that was the case. She noticed the stuttering and stammering for words from Dean and couldn't help but wonder what was making him to do so on such a such a simple question.

Sam watched Anna as she began to pace, seeing that everything that was being shared between the two of them was being processed in her mind. He also got the clear sign that he must have been the first she'd met who had a similar background to her, which got him thinking, would it really be all that bad to tell her the truth?

He listened to what she next said and rose an eyebrow when she said her mom had a lot satanic stuff, which he doubted was actually satanic but he could see why people would come to that conclusion on a lot of things hunters had to carry round. It wasn't all white magic and rainbows after all. He had to chuckle and smile when she went on her ramblings about not being a hooker or serial killer. "don't worry about it. That's not the craziest thing I've heard.. Believe me" he replied to her. "actually sounds a lot like my dad" he added. "I think your mom might be a hunter..." he finally said.

It took Kay a couple of moments to truly register what Serena was saying in her head before nodding, finding that if the professionals are too distracted with the ER downstairs then it'd sort of make sense to why they don't seem to care herself and Chas are here longer than they possibly should be. Even if they were told to leave, she dig her foot in and refuse to leave anyway, so in a way she was glad that they weren't being rushed out.

Both Kay and Chas could tell Serena was lying but they were going to say anything just yet as they didn't want to start any drama in the room. Both just wanted to eat their food with John and Serena and for a few minutes not worry about what was going on around them. Though Kay couldn't help but wonder if the tail she had and managed to lose on the way back to the a hospital, and this incident downstairs were related. She mentally shook the thought from her mind, 'no need to worry yourself now' she thought to herself.

Chas smiled, surprised by John's reply but thought it was a good surprise. He glanced at Serena and knew she could see the same look in John as he was seeing, whereas Kay had become a bit distracted by the fact food was in front of her. For someone who was highly observant during most times, she was being a bit oblivious in this particular moment.

"nurse said you both gotta wait to be checked over in the morning by your docs before a decision is made on when you're both discharged." Chas explained as he was the one that found that information out earlier. "so in other words, no more escaping your room after this and risk causing yourself anymore damage." Kay finally zoned back into the room and quipped. "I'd say we're pretty lucky as it is just being allowed to stay with you two. I'm sure visitor hours will probably be over by now" she added.

Kay did agree it was a valid reason for being up but she just worried that he would overdo it and hurt himself even more as he was the most injured out of him and Serena. "Fine, but I don't want you overdoing it" she replied, walking over to him and handing him his pizza box. She then sat on the remaining chair for herself, thinking they'd all be eating together int he one room so none of them were alone. She didn't want to tell them about the follower she had on the way back, that could wait for now.

Chas open his box and was impressed that Kay seemed to remember his taste in pizza topping from the one night before he ordered them all take out, grabbing a slice and starting to it. "Think you're gonna have your work cut out for ya John with Kay around" he sniggered between mouthfuls.
