The fact that Dean didn't like the idea of leaving the innocent people behind either was of some relief to Mika. It meant to her that her wave of compassion for others was valid and not a case of her heart getting in the way of the job. She noticed him constsntly looking in the rear view mirror to make sure they were getting out without being followed and when she looked herself, she felt happy enough to sit up a bit more and not lay low in the passenger seat so much.

Even if his words were more for his own benefit to justify his actions, Mika did get some relief out of them also. She knew he was right and there would be no way they could help those people in their state, and with the state of her leg injury, even bandaged and stitched up, she would be an easy target and easy to smell out to a vampire. Even if she had the right bullets already in her gun's chamber and magazine, she wouldn't be able to hold them off long enough to survive if she stayed in that room on the bed.

He wasn't the only one who knew him driving in his state all the way to Souix Falls was a bad idea, but they could at least drive to the next nearest area and hold up there for now. She hated not being able to drive herself but she knew if she tried to drive on her leg she would cause herself a lot worse damage than she already had. It also meant neither of them had to deal with drunk Bobby, she certainly didn't deal with him being drunkenly angry at them both and then turning into overprotective Uncle mode.

At Dean's joke she sniggered and smirked, glancing at him before looking on ahead again, "if you're paying" she quipped back jokingly. She was just coming down from the worry but it was still there, knowing that when he went out there to see what was going on on his own, he could have been attacked easily and she would have been oblivious until their room got attacked. Sure. She was terrified at the fact she could have been easily taken out but the idea of losing Dean scared her even more. They really were each other's weak point which was dangerous and worrying.
Kay nodded, "she also said with training or practice our power can double and be even stronger together, not only that it can also be used to be tapped into if one of us goes missing, meaning its like a magical GPS I guess" she explained, giving a shrug. "and if one of us feels an intense emotion, the other can feel it too. So it's not a negative thing at all and I wouldn't be surprised if Fee at some point shows you what she showed me" she added.

Chas and Josh didn't know what to expect when Serena went to touch the map, but Chas' eyebrow did raise when a silver mark appeared. As she touched it and then proceeded to get thrown back he looked on wide eyed. He didn't know how a simple scrying map could be capable of such things. Josh ran over to her and helped her back up, "you okay?? What the hell was that?!" he asked her.
MIKA, SAM AND NATALIA

Mika's justification for not just giving up on Dean was purely because she had sworn ever since she came clean to him to who she was that she would never walk out on him again. She wasn't going to just up and leave him no matter and whatever terrible things either of them did, she would be by his side. Sure, it was a serious shock to her to hear what he did and how he liked doing it, but she couldn't say she wouldn't have done or felt the same way if she was in his shoes. Hells, she probably wouldn't even lasted as long as he did and that in her eyes was admirable that he held out for as long as he did alone. She also fully believed that despite everything, he could be redeemed for what he did, that it wasn't his fault. Not only that, she loved him with all her heart and soul and after he did everything to not give up on her, even when she drove him near damn insane making him believe she was someone else and was infact dead, he kept persuing for the truth and to get her back. So the least she could was the same damn thing for him whether he thought he deserved it or not.

"Lets" she replied, before she walked inside with him and saw the scenes before them both. She felt like they had been gone for five minutes and all shit broke. She let him hold her hand a bit tighter when he saw the sight before him as well, knowing he was only going to get instantly about Sam despite everything that was going on. She was just massively confused, they told them that Annabeth didn't have her eyes, but here she was standing in front of them all with her eyes very much intact.

"I'm fine, but confused!" Sam replied to his brother, wanting to ask him if he was okay as he recognised when his brother had been crying but he knew this wasn't the time nor the place to do so, not to mention he was solely focused on Annabeth right now. He glanced back at Cason as he also asked Annabeth what happened and how it happened, when she started to say how it was difficult to explain, "Try me" he replied to her, not wanting the simple 'difficult to explain' excuse to be her only answer. That wasn't good enough for him, but it seemed to took Cason to figure it out for him to get the answers he was asking her. Ontop of that, Cason gave a name to the demon responsible, a demon name that he didn't recognise but looking at Dean and how he was reacting, it was evident that he did recognise the name.

As Dean reacted the way he did, Mika also felt shocked to hear Alistair's name said not once, but twice in a space of five minutes. Alistair was here!? If she had known, she would have loved to have the opportunity to go after the son of a bitch that tortured and turned Dean into a torturer, even if it would prove the stupidest idea known to man. She found herself feeling shocked at the outburst of Annabeth's. It made her step back slightly in surprise but not ocne did she let go of Dean's hand to give him that moral support he clearly so needed.

Natalia also found herself being frozen to the spot she was standing in when Annabeth admitted she got her eyes back from a demon named Alistair and if she didn't, he would have killed Sam. This information froze her in her tracks, but she also felt incredibly angry that Annabeth could have fallen for such a callous trick by a demon. She was beginning to wonder if believing demons was a common trait for the girl. "I can't believe you would believe a bloody demon over that!? Don't you get it? They'll say anything to get you to do what they want you to!" she couldn't help but scold the girl. It was then she saw the state of Esme, and it was becoming evidently clearer to her that Esme was a natural empath. Looking back at Annabeth, she waved her arm in the direction of Esme, "She's right, we could have helped! Dean, Mika and Bobby haven't been slaving away trying to find answers just for you to go and make deals with a bloody demon!" she sighed exasperated.

She had to pinch the bridge of her nose to make herself calm down and not punch the nearest thing. She was so incredibly done with demons twisting people's arms to get what they wanted. She herself was a victim of such a manipulative action so it always rubbed her wrong way when she saw others fall for the same game. Sam, as much as he was touched by the fact everyone was so quick to jump to his defence in a round about manner, he did think they had a point but he also had to question if they would have done things all that differently if they were in Annabeth's shoes. "Anna I'm glad you got your eyes back and you took the deal trying to do the right thing to save me, but they do have some valid points. Making deals like that, so abruptly never ends well for anyone. Esme is right, we could have found another way, or at least a way to do it together so you didn't get tied to Alistair through a deal" he told her, alot more calm than how the others were talking to her.

"I think everyone needs to calm down" he then said, looking at everyone in the room and seeing more and more how the name was affecting Dean, which got him thinking, how did he know this demon?

Mika wished just once they didn't have to deal with more complications than they already had. She knew that she wouldn't have been happy with Dean going after the vampires on his own as that was in her eyes, suicide. Yet she also wouldn't have put it passed him to have at least attempted it. So when he admitted he was choosing rationale over brawn she was openly surprised. That surprise must have been clear on her face as Dean made the comment he did, making her chuckle even in desperate times. "If we get out of this, consider me impressed" she smirked, as he ran to the car and squatted down with her to get the door open, whilst keeping safe.

She moved as quickly as she physically possible all things considered to get in the passenger side, feeling once again so glad that Dean knew how to drive. She looked out the windows as she saw a woman running up to them screaming that the vampires were ready to take the whole place. She didn't quite get what the woman was saying, so when Dean got in the driver's side and expained what she said, she nodded, knowing they really needed to get out of there. She did as he told her, keeping low in the seat still hearing the woman shouting after them both, clearly hoping they'd take her with them but they couldn't risk it.

As conflicted the decision to leave her behind made Mika feel, she knew it was for the best. She didn't make a habit of leaving people behind but for all they knew this woman was a vampire acting like a victim to get to them. "I just hope we're doing the right thing leaving these poor sods at the hands the vamps" she sighed as she watched the woman chasing them and begging.
Kay walked up the rest of the steps and leaned against the bannister nearer to John. "I found out quite a bit actually. It stems back to my mother's first incarnation. It's a bond that comes into fruition between the phoenix and the one they're destined to be linked to. It can happen in two ways. Either through like a marriage style ceremony where one gives themselves to the other or through a selfless act like I did with you, healing you to the point it put my life close to its death. Seems neither of us knowingly triggered it and it was sheer pot luck who triggered it first. You for saving my life or me saving yours" she explained. "that's the short version anyway.." she concluded.

Chas had never seen the map react in such a way, until now it was a normal map that was just enchanted but it had never done this. "we're here with you every step of the way. If it gets too much, let go of it" Chas advised.
Mika was perfectly content with Dean, thinking that just for once they'd have a night in. A motel that wasn't full of drama, but then came a thud and shattered all illusions that'd they be okay and could relax. She instantly sat up and let go of Dean as he did also, both of them being trained far too well to just let that noise and scream go unchecked. Like him, she hoped there wouldn't be another scream but when there was, she sighed as he got up and told her not to move.

She wanted to protest, go and help him but she knew she was not able to do so, so she just nodded, "okay.. Dean, be careful" she told him with pleading eyes before she watched him exit the room. Whilst he was out the room, she fought through the pain in her leg to scoot over to the edge of the bed so she could reach for her bag. She had no idea if she was going to either be an easy target because she couldn't move much, or if she would need to try and help Dean by defending herself from her location.

With discomfort and pain, she unzipped her bag from the floor and pulled out some pyjama shorts she always had in just incase. Pulling herself back on the bed properly she stretched over herself to yank her shorts on because she was not prepared to be laying here in just underwear and vest. As she tried getting her shorts on, she gritted her teeth as she did all she could to muffle her scream from the pain shooting through her leg.

She just managed to get her shorts on when her eyes darted up toward the door as she heard it open but sighed with relief when it was Dean coming back in and not a threat as she couldn't even get to gun in time if it wasn't him. "Dean what's going on out there?" she asked seeing him frantically grabbing their stuff and giving it to her wrapped in a towel, her question going unanswered.

"okay" she just trusted his decision on the matter, scooting to the edge of the bed again so it would be easier for him to grab ahold of her, whilst keeping one firm hand gripping their stuff on her lap. "it's vampires...isn't it?" she finally asked.
"sure thing" Chas replied to her, walking over a bit closer with Josh to help her up onto her feet. "I'll take you to the map" he added to her, letting Josh wrap one of her arms round him, as Chas did the same with her other arm. When he was satisfied she was supported well enough, he gave Josh to ok to start walking as he lead them to the map.

Kay looked at Trish and wondered if she was would be happy for this kid to hear what she found out. "here's fine" she eventually said, deciding that she didn't mind for Trish to overhear. "I've err..been chatting with Fee. She has information on the bond that's happened between us" she started by saying.
Similar to Dean, Mika saw Bobby more of her father than her uncle. She may still call him 'uncle Bobby' but she was certain he and her both knew she would have loved nothing more than to call him 'dad'. He brought her up when she literally lost everything, when things were so difficult to get through on her own and even when she shut him out through her grief, he was always there making sure she was fed and had something to try and focus on even if she didn't always do those things. She couldn't have asked for a better guardian quite frankly and was almost glad that people thought of her as dead thanks to the remains of another red headed teenager nearby. It meant she didn't have to put through all kinds of legal hoops before being given to Bobby even though her mother always wished for her to be with him if something were to happen.

She chuckled when he said how he was sure her mother could have taken her father and truth was, she could see that as well. Her mother was a stubborn woman and when she put her foot down, it was difficult to change her mind....much like Mika was now she realised. "Oh she definitely would have. She always had a soft spot for you" she told him, whilst keeping the other part of her reply to herself in her mind, which was 'she would have been proud to call you her own'.

She looked up at him when he moved slightly and hissed but saw he was looking a lot healthier now and even had a lot more colour back in his face, which she wondered if she was the same or not. She laughed broadly when he admitted how he always wanted her to slap him and she had to admit, that thought had crossed her mind a few times over the years. "Oh I always wanted to, you have no idea how much willpower I had to summon to not slap or punch him in his face for what he's said or done to you and Sam, let alone me" she replied to him.
"I'm glad you did and it's not just myself that kept the many polaroids" Mika replied knowing that her wall of stuck up polaroids would be one of the first things he would have noticed when he decided to enter her room when she wasn't there. It wasn't entirely shocking that he still had photos of Mary, she still kept one photo of her parents but it was always locked away in a drawer by her bed and very rarely ever saw the light of day. Even now in her twenties, it was far too painful to look at as she just always felt survivors guilt and that it was her fault they died because she refused to let Dean go. It was of course, not the case in the slightest but it's how she still felt.

She laughed as he pointed out how their lives hadn't really changed all that much since then as they were still getting into trouble with Bobby because of their noise and antics in her room which now she truly thought about it, was actually highly hilarious. "You got a point there. Which reminds me, we get that bigger bed he promised us for doing this damn hunt" she pointed out, oh how she was looking forward to that bigger more comfortable bed for the two of them.

When he also remembered the memory of her dad going for him she chuckled, remembering the speed at which Dean ran like it was yesterday. She nodded whilst chuckling at his remark about not stopping coming over, "That it true, even my mom was prepared to lie to him for us to be together. Think she was secretly shipping us together from the get go. She knew how much you protected me at school and stuff, and that's what meant a lot to her" she told him. She could tell how much better he was seeming to get and she was even sobering up and feeling a bit more with it herself.

Mika found herself thinking back intently at his next memory that came to his mind and it finally clicked, remembering those nights where Sam would not so willingly lie to John to help his big brother out. "I remember, even if he didn't agree all the time about our antics." she replied. "I'm pretty sure I even chewed your dad out once or twice which didn't always go great but man, it felt good to do" she smirked.
MIKA

As Dean hesitated to hug her back at first, Mika just let him take his time to process everything she said to him as well as the fact she was holding him protectively and lovingly. As he did slowly start to hug her back, she kept her arms around him and just let him sob into her shoulder, one hand lifting to the back of his head and holding his head softly, kissing the top of it. "Always Dean, no need to thank me for doing what I'd always do. We're equals and in this together remember?" she reminded him, with a soft smile in her tone.

Pulling away and doing what she did, she looked at him to make sure he would be okay, but something told her he wouldn't be okay for a long while but what she did know was that she would remain by his side the entire time through this. For her, it'd have to be something really major to make her walk away from him and with their lives, that was indeed saying something. She listened to him request that she did not tell Sam what he told her and as much as she didn't particularly like the idea of hiding something like this from Sam, she nodded her agreement. "okay, I won't tell him" she promised.

She then followed him toward the house again as he went on ahead before holding his hand out that she gladly took, interlocked their fingers and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. "You got this Dean and I'll always be by your side." she reminded him before walking inside with him.

SAM AND NATALIA

When Bobby snatched the bottle of whiskey out of Natalia's hand, she couldn't help but smirk at his retort about Dean, even though she knew deep down a lot of it was actually probably Mika. It was no surprise to her or Sam that Mika turned to drink when she was in the grieving stages of losing Dean and no matter how much they tried to stop her from drinking everything that Bobby owned or even stopping her from going to the shop to buy even more booze, Mika just continued anyway.

As he ran his hand down her jawbone and patted her face she smiled softly at him. "I'm alright thanks Bobby and I'm not surprised she is still being a picky eater, if she even eats anything at all" she remarked back. She was always so thankful that Bobby welcomed her so well as one of the crazy ass family that was the Winchesters.

She and Sam both listened as Bobby explained what went down with the summoning, both raising eyebrows at his remark about being asleep through most of it but the moment he mentioned Angels, both their interests were and truly piqued as Sam took the envelope from him and opened it to glance through the notes before Dean and Mika made their way back into the house.

"Seems we both had to deal with Angels then. It was an Angel named Samael who took Annabeth's eyes. He just came out of nowhere and started torturing her then took her eyes from her." he explained to Bobby, not noticing at first that Annabeth had snuck off out to the backyard as he was so focused on looking at the notes and sharing information with Bobby.

It was when however she came skidding back into the room that he looked up to see she was in another part of the room than she was before and she had her eyes back.."What the hell!? How do you have your eyes!?" he asked her in shock, shoving the envelope and notes into Nat's chest and walking right over to Annabeth, checkign her face for any sign her eyes were ever missing, looking at her with complete and utter shock and bafflement.

"What's going on?" Mika asked seeing the frantic commotion suddenly starting up in the main room.
