I am the fire - Constantine RP

Chas headed to his desk and looked for the red book which he eventually managed to find and picked it up. On the way bsck to John, he grabbed him a glass of water and some painkillers for him, bringing it all to him. He handed him the painkillers and water first, "here take these, it'll help with the pain you're feeling" he told him.

Josh nodded and tucked her into the bed, even though she was fully dressed. "get some sleep, if you need anything, just hollah okay?" he told her, giving her a reassuring smile. "hopefully with some sleep, your head will feel better, but if it doesn't ill grab you something okay?" he told her.

Kay started to get nightmares of the attacks, whimpering and fidgeting in her sleep, she couldn't stay still at all, her hands gripping the blanket tightly to her. The whimpering turned into beggings of 'stop!' repeatedly.

Chas heard him out and nodded, "its a start I guess. I'm just glad whoever they were, they were on our side. She wasted no time in getting the thugs away from us and sending them down south shall we say. Just wish she would have stayed long enough for us to know who she was." he replied. "right, let me get you some water and then you can tell me what I need to get to do this trace" he explained.

Josh nodded and took Serena to bed, knowing that the three of them wouldn't willingly rest if any one of them seemed the slightest bit distressed. Carrying her into her room, he laid her on the bed and pulled a blanket over her. "you need anything? Water? More blankets?" he asked, fussing a little bit.

Chas made John lay back down but did so carefully and slowly. "your body has taken one hell of a beat, you need to just slow down and let it recover for a bit. Sounds like you may have a bit of a concussion" he explained to him. "why don't I get you some water and stuff. Tell me what you wanna get or use to find out about this mysterious saviour of yours and I'll do it?" he suggested.

Josh smiled in a slightly smug manner when Bane backed him up on Serena needing to rest. "told you you need to rest up!" he said teasingly, but he was ho eatly happy that she seemed to relax a bit when seeing for herself that Kay was alright. "I'm sure Bane will stay with Kay for a bit or knowing Trish, she'll be making visits" he smiled, "so can I now take you to your room so you can rest up?" he asked her.

Chas quickly reacted to John's stumbling forward and grabbed him before he fell properly and did himself more injury. "woah! Mate lay back down! We can figure things out with you on this couch. If you move you'll undo all of Serena's work putting you back together so to speak" he told him.

Josh carried her to the bedrooms but made a point to stop at John's room where he carried her to the doorway to see that Bane was still with Kay and Kay was asleep. "see, she's fine" he told Serena. He then looked at Bane, "is she still passed out or just asleep?" he then asked.

Josh looked at John and nodded, "I'll take her to bed and carry her in to Kay just to satisfy her worries that Kay is okay" he told him, keeping a firm grip on Serena so he didn't drop her. "good idea, I'll keep an eye on John" Chas replied, hoping John won't move too much more himself.

When Bane placed his hand on her forehead, Kay felt more tiredness sweep over her, making her close her eyes. "wake me if something happens" she sleepily said to him as she drifted off to sleep for a bit. It may have been only early evening but the day felt like such a long and tiresome one.

Josh stood up and went after Serena, picking her up and carrying her, "no, you need to rest up. Like John says, Bane has Kay looked after so she'll be just fine" he told her. "so let's get you to your room so you can sleep a while and rest up" he said, making it clear in his tone that the suggestion was more like an order.

Kay sighed and just decided not to protest against what Bane was saying. "I guess..." she just simply said instead before a yawn escaped her. Her eyes feeling heavy again, but luckily she wasn't feeling like she could faint.

Josh and Chas both looked toward Serena seeing just how bad she did looked. "he's right, you don't look good. I think you need to lay down and rest in bed" Josh commented, worried about her. "he's right, you look like shit.. Pardon my language" Chas commented.

Kay didn't want to believe that healing John would have truly killed her and Fee, but she also knew Bane wouldn't lie to her either. "I just wanna help him... I feel so useless." she told Bane. "I hate being this...this damsel in distress figure... I'm so weak, it's pathetic" she rambled.

"you were both protecting Kay, in your own ways" Chas told them both, seeing how rough Serena looked. He hoped though that now she had vomited, she would start to feel better soon. "but mentally beating yourselves up over it won't do either of you any good. Just focus on the upside that you both got her back" he told them, being the voice of reason yet again.

"he's right ya know" Josh spoke up, moving the bowl to one side for her. "the more you two dwell on it, the more it'll eat you up mentally" he told them both. Whilst Kay listened to what Bane was saying uostsirs. "she should have let me heal John with my phoenix ability" she mumbled, hating that Serena was burning herself out.

Chas let what they were saying sink in, never thinking that Serena would go that far. John? Well, it didn't entirely surprise him that John would have gone that far. He kept his thoughts to himself however, "well if he was near enough killing Fee and Kay, then good riddance to the guy" he commented. "but makes sense why you guys not been fully yourselves, explains a lot actually" he added.

Kay didn't really respond to Bane's words, not really knowing what she could possibly say to it. "guess not..." she eventually did say, "how's John and Serena?" she asked.
