Hand to Hand Combat, yes?

Once again, I would like to contribute a Battleground to this fight if that would be acceptable.@Schradinger@ShidenBlades

In the Darkness of the Night

Daxius launched the kick mainly out of instinct, his demonic fighting spirit would occasionally go on auto pilot when he hadnt enough time to think about an attack rationally. He knew the kick would be just a little slower than he would have liked against a human who could dodge throwing knives. He was ready though, his left hand was reaching in towards his equipment belt as he lauched the kick which just barely missed the assasin.

Daxius flung his grappling claw at the assasin to follow up the kick, he would use this vicious instrument as he would a flail/whip hybrid allowing him to lash out at his dodging oppoenent at a fair distance, aiming the hook at his torso, as his body turned to face him.

Daxius's right hand still holding the sword in typical back hand fashion quickly jerked in the way of an incoming crossbow bolt, allowing him to bat it away, much like the man did with his throwing knives.

You may LOOK like a human, but you're just a fidgety rodent, and this is my rat trap!

The nasty blades of the grappling claw glinted in the street light as they flew towards the assasin.

Moschet Museum

Name: The Moschet Museum

Size: Outside arena floor space is 50 x 60 feet wide covered by mountains that reach for miles, indoors is a 120x60 feet hall

Properties: The outdoor arena has destructible stone structures and is always night time, the indoors has rickety upper level platforms and a large pit at the end of the museum, this pit is endless. Other than the mountain the Arena is fully destructable. You will start in the outdoor arena and the large entrances seen in the image will lead you to the main part of the museum. The interior structure of the Museum is mainly very dry wood which is fairly flammable, if a large enough fire is started, the whole building will burn down.

Player Capacity: up to 6 players can fight here.

Flavour Text: The Moschets were a very dangerous but powerful and famous married couple, they were rumored to be demons and had large enough egos they kept all their most prized possessions in a grand museum in a mountain construct. They were later killed by witch hunters, and the museum was vandalized on numerous occasions. But every so often the spirits of the Moschets will come to watch duels between powerful warriors in the place they were once so proud of.

Arena Chat Thread

Well I would be in favor of 2v2 tournaments with a split prize for the winning duo.
Also maybe a 4 man free for all for the semi finalists of a standard tournament.

If I, as the BattleGrounds 'groundsman' were given the authority I could make all sorts of cool death trap style arenas for special themed matches. Suspended platforms over an Acid pit? Frozen indoor arena with rabid polar bears? Fighting on top of a Colossus Eagle?

Dynamo is your man.

Practice Duel

The tackle attack was very satisfying, the man was a lot heavier than he looked, and the impact off knocking him down. The satisfaction would be short lived as this man acted as any good martial artist would, he pulled her into his guard, using his thighs like a vicegrip to keep her in from of him. His extended hips pushed her away just as she was thinking of attacking with the elbow, but it was no point it would be a wasted attack if she couldnt strike his head.

She didnt stop for a second, as every moment counted, he was still winded enough for to attempt something a bit more creative. She used the momentup of her previous elbow strike to drop her right arm underneath the man's left knee as it was wrapped around her waist. She would then attempt to use left arm in tadem with the right to pry and isolate his left leg and drop to the floor with it in a stiff ankle lock. Isa was a master at bone breaking submission moves. Using her immense strength she could attempt to twist and heavily damage the ankle in her left armpit or use her torso and both arms as leverage to attempt snap the shin bone. The fact that he had pants on as apposed to bare legs like most cage fighters meant that there was more grip would make his leg very difficult to slip out of such a vicious move.

In the Darkness of the Night

Dax was impressed with this wily human, he was able to dodge the throwing knives with relative ease, although one did manage to nick him. Th wound was covered by his robes but he could still smell a small amount of blood from his opponent. As he drew closed he knew his low sweep was obvious but grit his teeth and swung with it anyway....CLASH The dastardly assasin had dug his smaller blade in to block the attack, and at the same time reached in his cloak to throw something close range, probably at Dax's now exposed head.

Daxius did have time to try and guess what it was, so he used his lightning reflexes to turn his head and body around so whatever it was wouldnt hit him in the face. As he pivoted to the right, what felt like a thousand needles cut past his neck and shoulder, his armor was able to protect most of it, but the few that scratched his neck cut deep enough to sting dreadfully and open some small wounds that would soon begin to bleed.

Now this is a real fight, I was more than ready to bleed, Villain!

Daxius snarled as he used the momentum of his pivot to turn all the way around into a roaring spinning back kick, it was all one fluid motion as he aimed to kick at the assasin's neck/chest area.

ROLEPLAY DEATH BATTLE!

Okay I think ive got the perfect Battleground for this fight.

Flavour Text: This old cathedral was destroyed years ago, but was brought back by a benevolant spirit to exist on our mortal plane, it now exists and as an infinite number of corridors that lead nowhere in particular but set the stage for endless conflict for those who want to fight it out.
