It was hard to argue for Doctor Ikura's sake, no one had seen him since Viral's being put under, and that was years ago. The man was well and alive however, unless all of Vegeta's employees were somehow sorely mistaken. Even if the doctor's disappearance had been questionable there was a trail to follow, and what was known of him was good. He'd traveled around the world helping out in various places, using his knowledge of bio-engineering quite effectively. As Vegeta understood there was even a prototype medicine being developed that could help cure paralysis, one that was very nearly reaching its completion, all stemming from Ikura's research. While in comparison to the 'magic' of Saiyan healing systems this was a massive leap for humanity in terms of medical science. Surely a man who has been working on things like that couldn't be all bad, right? There was confidence in his father's associate, he just hoped that confidence wasn't misplaced.

"You had one instance and it's been forgiven, believe me. Maybe some people are going to be uneasy of you, that I can't fix. But hey..." Vegeta paused as they got to the base of the stairwell, turning to look at Viral. "People are afraid of me, and Shu and Takeshi, because we're part Saiyan. Not everyone is fond of Goku's legacy you know, some people really don't like what his race could mean for us. And frankly, after meeting our people neither do I." The rebels and those born here on Earth were an exception to the rule, and a rare one at that. He couldn't say for certain what the home planet was like, but if the Elites and even their subordinates were any hint then Saiyans were not a pleasant people as a whole. Beginning to climb the stairs Vegeta fished out a PDA from his pocket, going through arranging funds to the hospital to pay for their taking a room. "They'll look at you funny because people are confused when they see something they don't understand, it's normal. It doesn't mean they dislike you, there's just not exactly a whole lot of Beastmen like you around. In fact... If we count Yumi now there's only the two of you."

"I'm not that much of a Beastman!" Yumi retorted, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Just because I have ears like a cat and stronger senses doesn't make me a Beastman." Looking over at Viral then she smiled sheepishly, folding her hands in front of her. "Not that anything's wrong with being one. Don't get me wrong, it's just I don't really consider myself one. I'm more of a human with some changes, I guess." Or that was maybe her way of explaining herself. At this point she wasn't entirely certain what category she fell under anymore, not quite fitting into either or. Albeit Beastmen were a pretty broad spectrum, especially considering there was only one to go off of. Humans were different, even if they were all classified the same, so it wasn't so far fetched that she could be a Beastman too despite not resembling Viral. Yumi followed right along to the closest empty room, 209, standing beside the door as she let Vegeta finish whatever it was he was doing on his PDA. "The ears have been kind of handy," she added, smiling at Viral. "Let's me hear all sorts of things that I couldn't before. Kind of fun, I can eavesdrop if I wanted to."

"You shouldn't be, and you know that," Vegeta chastised, putting away his device. Getting a childish reaction out of Yumi he smirked, opening the door to the room they were going to be using. All of convenience of being a CEO was nice in a way, getting entrance to places like this and having funds and resources readily available. It was awfully easy going around the city when you had access to those things, but it came at a price. Not only was he not much for proper conduct as far as a CEO was concerned but the publicity he could certainly do without. He was a scientist, not a celebrity, yet he was hounded like one sometimes. The idea had come to mind of being rid of the company, just let someone else take over and deal with all the nonsense. Turns out however Viral wasn't very fond of that idea. "So you're going to corner me in with that, hm...?" Vegeta mused, looking over at Viral. Smiling slightly he sighed, shaking his head as he moved to stand against the wall. "I'll stay with the company then, if it pleases you. I just hope you can stomach my bickering from time to time."
Against perhaps all odds they were winning against a larger force. This was absolutely ludicrous, no one in their right minds would have started a battle like this. Never before had Caelan traveled with anyone so bold, it was alien that they had this kind of bravery. If he hadn't been so busy fighting and staving off attacks he might be laughing at the absurdity of what they were undertaking. The proof was right before his eyes though, the enemy was dwindling and they were still strong, not a single loss. They were going to get out of this, somehow, and he couldn't believe it. Throwing up another shield of ice the blonde mage cast a flurry of ice shards over the open expanse, nailing two archers in the chest and watching as they collapsed on their perches. That ought to do it for those pests, now they could focus more on the troops closer to them. All around him his companions were making short work of the enemy, decapitating and maiming people left and right. Caelan wasn't any better, he'd impaled a good many people and punctured lungs and other organs with his attacks, but it was out of necessity. He'd never killed someone before, not on this scale. Surely once the drama was over he'd be reeling from what was going on. Right now, however, the only thing on his mind was fight, fight, fight!

When matters seemed to be going in their favor a huge weight was cast upon their shoulders... Or the bridge, rather. With astounding fleeting movements the large man known as Onyx threw himself onto the bridge, shaking the structure upon his impact. The thought going through Caelan's mind was probably the same as everyone else's; This guy was huge! Not just round huge either, but he had a proper intimidating stature to him. Demoko's words didn't so much instill him with courage as it did make him near soil himself, but there was no turning back. At least the little guys had been dealt with, it would be a collective effort fighting this one. Goodness knows they were going to need all of their combined strength and the Goddesses' blessing to get through this battle. Looking around himself he saw the remnants of the enemy army being tidied up, by Link of all people. There was some satisfaction in that, the kid had seemed fairly hopeless up until now. If he was ready to fight then hell then Caelan was too. Smiling slightly he looked over at Onyx, trying to psyche himself up for the battle.

"Eh... I've lived a good life I guess. Nowhere near as rich as I'd like to be though." Bringing out a fair bit of water from the bottomless flask Caelan separated the liquid into smaller, more condensed chunks, gradually morphing them into ice shards. He could throw them individually with keen accuracy or create a hail of projectiles, both would be handy here. Considering how many people were present it would more likely be the single shot, quick firing shards than a scattered storm, no reason to go injuring his friends after all. Swallowing back nerves he reached up with one hand, pulling his goggles on over his eyes and training his sights directly on Onyx. Damn it, the guy just had to be completely covered in armor, hitting any vital points was going to be next to impossible. At least he'd be annoying like a gnat, that was the least he could do.
"Because the stranger wants to help, perhaps?" Yumi offered, interjecting, "He's a doctor, and he'll want to help you just on principle, since that's what they do. Plus if he's a friend of Vegeta's parents, combined with the fact he helped make you don't you think he's at least a little vested in your well being?" She couldn't speak for the man, but she liked to think Viral was seen as a child of his. Or at the very least something worth preserving. She was curious as to why the doctor had vanished up until this point though. If what she was saying was true then surely he'd have come to check in on their friend now and again. Peering out the window she watched as the hospital came into view, wondering just where inside Ikura was. Hopefully he wasn't with a patient at the moment, it wouldn't be very nice to take him for Viral's sake. The building didn't seem particularly busy despite its reputation, so hopefully they could find a room to wait in if need be. Shifting around as the vehicle came to a halt she waited patiently for the driver to open up the door, unable to suppress a smile as she climbed out of the vehicle. Yumi could really get used to this sort of treatment, though she could also see why Vegeta was annoyed by it. Sure it was nice now but all this hand-holding would get on anyone's nerves.

Vegeta was plenty prepared to drag Viral inside if need be. Much as he didn't want to force the treatment upon the Beastman he did need it, there was no debating that. The Saiyan was doing his best to remain patient, not laying so much as a finger on Viral as he motioned for the man to follow them inside. The man really didn't seem thrilled about going in, and he could sympathize to an extent. No one wanted to have their problems and fears exposed and held out to them, which presumably was exactly what Doctor Ikura was going to do. "The people in this city aren't new to you Viral, they've seen you before. And at any rate it's not as if you've ever done anything seriously harmful to them, so what reason would they have to be upset upon seeing you?" He treated it as though his being out in public was a problem, Vegeta begged to differ. "Not afraid? Good, then we can get going inside." Taking the side entrance meant circumventing the front desk, which made arranging an appointment a little tricky. A thought occurred to him then, and the CEO turned around to look at his driver. "Actually, Garlond? If you would, please go in and arrange an appointment. Tell them it's for myself, and that I've specifically requested Doctor Ikura. We'll be on the second floor, space providing." Nodding as his employee went off Vegeta smiled, leading the way to the side entrance.

There wouldn't be any real negative reactions to Viral, but there was ample curiosity. A few of the hospital employees were gathered on the side of the building taking a break when the trio approached, none of whom were quite sure what to make of the Beastman. They looked at him not so much with uncertainty or fright as they did curiosity, unfamiliar with the man. They recognized Vegeta however, and to a lesser extent Yumi even. The girl looked a little different than before but she was often seen around with the young man, it was a pretty common rumor that the two were involved. A few female nurses scrutinized her with accusing glares but kept quiet, not wanting to say anything off color with the bachelor around. Vegeta had picked up on their stares and once they were inside he exhaled, smacking his own forehead. "Seriously... I'm going to sell the company so people stop staring at me..." he grumbled, shaking his head. "Alright... Second floor stairs should be right around here..."
I'm thinking after I do my work for class I'll post as well... Provided I've got the okay from the GM's to attack Mr. Meanie Pants.
"We're not trying to dictate anything Viral. But it's in your best interest to try and do this, otherwise we wouldn't be so adamant about bringing you." They had backtracked all the way from Kaesstra to do this, Vegeta hoped that would mean something to the Beastman. He dared not to voice that of course, worried it would somehow insinuate that Viral was obligated to do things where that was never the case. "And you told your problems to people who aren't trained, and because of that we couldn't help. It doesn't make your problems not worth hearing though. Don't you want an expert's opinion before you just try to dismiss it?" Giving a sympathetic smile Vegeta glanced out the windshield, watching as they pulled into the parking lot of the hospital. It wasn't an overly large facility, certainly one of the smaller ones in the city, but it was renowned for its care. Fitting then that an expert like Doctor Ikura should work at an esteemed place. Or it could be merely coincidence, he wasn't sure. "And the hard stuff is never easy, right...? None of us think what you've been through is easy, but once you get talking it's bound to help."

In spite of a rather famous scientist being inside the hospital was fairly vacant, or at least the parking lot was. Garlond drove the trio right up to the front door, staying well along the side of the lane in case an emergency vehicle came along. The driver got out with the engine running and opened the passenger door, holding it open on Yumi's side to allow her out first. "Shall I wait here in the lot for you sir?" he asked politely, watching as Yumi climbed out, liking her fingers curiously. "Or... Shall I return to Capsule Corp?"

"Head on back, I'll call you if we need a ride later," Vegeta answered, stepping out and making way for Viral. Glancing at the hospital he felt his own nerves beginning to spike, he wondered how the Beastman was feeling. To meet someone who had been so close to their father and knew so much about Viral, it was really going to be something else. If they weren't here on more pressing matters he would have plenty of questions to ask. Perhaps another time, now wasn't proper to be quizzing the doctor. Smiling Vegeta looked down at Viral, motioning for him to come out and join them. "We can likely head in through the side or back if you want. I'm a benefactor of this place, I don't imagine they'll mind terribly if I use the side entrance."
"It's only been a month, give or take. And I do give them respect, it's not as though I'm berating them or anything of the sort," Vegeta replied, almost defensively. He had never taken on the professional attitude before, why start now? If it were a board meeting or some such then sure, he'd act as dictated, but in casual banter or every day chatter to hell with proper conduct. Leading Yumi and Viral out to the car he ushered the two of them in first, not very psyched about being chauffeured around. Having things done for him was awfully embarrassing, it made him feel incompetent. It wasn't like driving was all that complicated either, heck he did it fairly often just to take a break from everything. But the company board requested he let security and his driver take care of him more often, null as a point that may be. Anything that could remotely threaten him was well beyond them, yet he knew the decision and their efforts were well intentioned. It would be an insult not to let them do their jobs, however pointless they may really be. Vegeta debated on reworking the structure of his company before they left, perhaps reassign security to other people. Ah, but he was getting ahead of himself yet again. First things first, they needed to see to Viral.

Shutting the door Vegeta slid into the seat, motioning for the driver to get them moving. Were it not for the fact they were trying to not attract attention he'd not bother with the car. It would be leagues quicker to just fly to the hospital, even if they had to carry Viral. Traffic was starting to build so they were going to be a little while at least. Sighing softly he rested his arm on the door frame, laying his head in his hand as he looked out the window. Only a month gone and yet the city seemed alien to him. Untouched by battle, the lucky people here. It hadn't been the case when he had left of course yet already they had rebuilt and looked none the worse for wear. It was nice that their world had been relatively spared from conflict up to this point. He supposed they had the rebels to thank for that. As much tension as there might be between the two groups it was hard to deny that what they were doing was very helpful, and noble. Hopefully the bitterness subsided soon, Vegeta could see working with them rather nice. And he'd get access to all their gadgets and technology, a little bonus. "Viral, I know you don't want to do this, but it's for the best," he said, breaking the silence they'd been sitting in. "I don't have to lecture you on this, but I'm just saying. And I'm sure if you want privacy while you talk with Doctor Ikura he'd be more than happy to give it to you. Just tell him whatever's on your mind and he'll help you."
"I'm sure Doctor Ikura won't mind bumping you up on his list Viral. It's been ages since he's since you, I'm sure he'd love to know how you're fairing." Besides, the way Vegeta had understood it the good doctor wasn't exactly taking patients regularly. He was more here as an adviser, overseeing some project or another. Surely he could take a break from his schedule to attend to the very thing which he created. After leaving some rather casual banter with his secretary the three of them got into the elevator, and letting the door close he pressed the button for the lobby. Raising an eyebrow at Viral's chastising he couldn't help but chuckle, shrugging his shoulders as he rested against the side of the elevator. "You know I don't enjoy acting the part, Viral. If it were up to me I'd do away with my position and not bother with it any longer. Besides... Miss would imply that she is my senior, which she's actually a year younger. I'd rather address her as a friend than an underling or subordinate." He knew plenty of manners, but typically proper conduct as the head of a large corporation was not amongst them. If he was going to be representing the company then he wasn't going to be some stiff in a suit, that was too atypical and restricted for his liking. Vegeta liked to think his more laid back approach personified the company's expression of innovation and the free manner in which they did business. Either that or he was simply too lazy to put the effort into acting properly. Maybe a bit of both.

Stepping out of the elevator then Vegeta made a straight path for the door, thankful that it had been thought ahead of time to keep most people busy. Normally whenever he was walking around a good many scientists and employees would be flooding him with questions, since apparently he had to delegate every single little task in the corporation. He had assistants for that, didn't he? Meh, apparently not if he was the one being constantly asked. Nodding gratefully as the security guard let the trio out he went to the side of the car, stopping exasperatedly as the driver moved around to get the door for him. All of these things just bothered him, he wasn't anyone special just because he inherited the company. "Thanks, Garlond. We'll be going to the Merium Hospital by the way." Standing to the side of the door Vegeta smiled, waving in Yumi and Viral to go in first, much to the chagrin of his driver.

Vegeta might have little taste for the cushy life, but some of these perks were awfully nice. After all they had been through as of late it was a pleasant change of pace to have some things done for you. Flashing her friend a wide smile she quickly slipped into the vehicle, sliding over against the door to make room for the other two. "How come your personal car isn't as comfy as this? You drive a junker compared to this thing!" Ah, these were some really cushy seats. Nestling herself into the fabric Yumi looked around a little, her eyes lighting up seeing a small refrigerator. They had only just eaten, but it had been light and she was curious. Reaching down and opening up the container she was delighted to find a sealed plate of sushi, it being a favorite of hers. Giving Vegeta a pleading look she almost squealed when he nodded his head, beginning to snack on it excitedly. "Seriously... It's got food too? Mmm... The only food in your car is the stuff left on the floor."
"I wasn't suggesting you were a coward..." Yumi retorted, frowning as she looked away. "I just thought maybe you'd be more comfortable back here instead of a hospital."

"We'll go where Doctor Ikura has to be, we're already inconveniencing him I'm sure by showing up." Vegeta pointed out, trying to dismiss the conversation. "He'll be able to make time for you Viral, I'm certain of it. And if not we know where he is, it'll just be a matter of making an appointment with him." Depending on the number of patients the man had they may well only have to wait a short time to see him. Glancing back out the window he saw his company vehicle pull up, the driver get out to wait for the three of them. All of this ostentatious behavior that came with being a CEO was so annoying, he couldn't care less. But it was at his employees behest that he let them be driven, since it wasn't fitting of the son of Aito or some such nonsense. "Our ride is here, let's get moving. You might be reluctant now Viral, but you will be better once you visit this man, I'm certain of it."

After all, Doctor Ikura was the last man they could really turn to that had been involved in actually creating Viral. Sure, dozens of scientists had helped in the project, but their father, the RRA traitor and Ikura were the three who masterminded the entire project. If this didn't pan out then they'd have to find just a standard therapist, and somehow Vegeta didn't think that would work all too well. Motioning for his friends to follow he walked out of his office, sliding on his suit jacket as he left. "Amelia? We're going out for a bit, please reroute all my calls. Or tell them to stuff it, I don't really care." The surprised look on his secretary's face made him smirk, he loved messing with her sometimes. Poor girl did her best at her job but apparently was still not used to his lax behavior as the head of the company. Inside the elevator he stood just at the door, keeping his foot pressed against it to let the others get in as well.

"Everything is going to turn out fine Viral. We made it back to Earth, this is the last step to making you feel better," Yumi said, hoping to encourage the Beastman. Smiling she stepped just out of the room, taking her time to walk with her friend. "After this your problems will start to go away and you'll be back to your old self. Isn't that reason enough to see this through?" If he was helped then he'd be happy again, surely that had to be incentive enough. At this point it almost seemed like she and Vegeta wanted this more than Viral did.

If they were going to be living together then Takeshi wanted to do it right. Having his brother and friend sleeping in half-made rooms wasn't going to cut it, they had to make them nice to accommodate the two. This of course meant employing someone to do it, which included bringing a total stranger over to his home. Family and friends were one thing, but there was a reason he lived in the middle of nowhere still. Peering over at Shu the older boy sighed, not as okay with it as his sibling might be. "But don't you want a nice fluffy bed you can sleep on? And somewhere to put your clothes? Plus what if you get toys? I suppose we could buy you a television too, do you even watch TV?" He was getting way ahead of himself with this, maybe it was the lack of sleep. T'charrl sounded like he was perfectly okay with letting things be as they were too, there was no reason to put him up. "What if we got some kind of house for you out here then? Like a... I don't know... Mobile home. Or a ready made house or something..." His home was pre-built when he bought it too, and it had been rather nice so far. It would need to be a little larger to make due for the Kaesstrian but they could certainly do the same thing. "Unless you want to live somewhere else. Whatever you want to do, I guess."
Even now when they were on Ikura's doorstep Viral was against seeing the man. Really, it was a safe bet that this was not going to be a painful venture whatsoever and it would in fact help, surely the Beastman had to realize that. After all the doctor was one of a handful who truly knew how Viral worked, if anyone could sort this out it was him. Vegeta had promptly arranged them a ride to the hospital he was at, not wanting to fly or walk lest they draw attention. Until the chauffeur showed up they would wait in the office, him, Yumi and Viral. "Viral, you know as well as I do that we have to see Doctor Ikura, there's no backing out, certainly not now," the Saiyan pointed out, "Besides, he'll help you. It'll be nice to not have to worry about so much, right?" There was still a tiny tick of annoyance in Vegeta that they were having to find another person to do this. He had been left to care for Viral while this doctor had run off to do goodness knows what. He would have thought Ikura would be too busy hiding from the RRA to come out and do something like this, curious then that he was out in the open. Had something changed to let him venture out?

Yumi was on the same page as Vegeta on the matter, though her enthusiasm for going out wasn't quite as great. While really the only thing that had changed were her ears and hair it still felt like she was a totally new person and she was on display for the whole city. In reality perhaps half a dozen people had looked her way while they were coming to Capsule Corp, most men, so it was the same old story of being eyed by lecherous jerks. Still, it felt like she was being scrutinized for her new appearance and she didn't like it one bit. "It's not like he's all that far either," she offered, trying to sound hopeful. "Plus maybe he'll even agree to come back here and talk to you? Then we won't have to go out for the treatment after all." Yumi wondered if they still had the equipment used to create Viral in the building. Possibly, since she didn't think they'd dispose of something that had worked so well. It made more sense then to bring him here and work seeing as they had everything they might need on hand.

"Shu... We can't make a room with just those..." Takeshi mumbled, lifting his head to rest his chin on the table. "You need to make walls first," he explained, making gestures with his hands as he spoke, "And then put... Stuff in them to keep the room warm. Then build a roof, and put in windows, and a door, and a floor, and... Meh..." Quite briefly he'd asked Vegeta about home improvement before their had gone their separate ways and the guy hadn't exactly been a fountain of information. It was all stuff that was common sense, save the insulation maybe, and didn't tell them anything. Rooms and buildings had to be "structurally sound", whatever that meant. Apparently though a lot more work went into putting something together than Takeshi had originally thought. Not to mention the likely size that would be needed, looking over at T'charrl. The Kaesstrian was awfully big, he'd barely gotten inside as it was. As if reading his thoughts T'charrl brought up the very same issue.

Sitting up properly Takeshi gave a shake of his head, raising his arms up over his head with a groan to stretch. "We'll make a place for you to live here... It's no problem really. I don't want to make you have to go find your own place." He'd think too that T'charrl, with his worry over his powers, would be rather against being alone too. This way worked out better, it meant Shu had a friend around and hopefully T'charrl could relax more, a win-win. It was becoming quite evident that none of them were even remotely qualified to do this work, none of them knew how. Plus they didn't even have the materials to begin working, meaning they were going to have to go into the city either way. Or worse... "We're going to have to hire a contractor..." Takeshi finished, groaning again as he laid his head back on the table. "I don't want people at my house..."
Ah, the sanctity of their bedroom, and they'd made it without anyone seeing them. Takeshi was all too eager to get back inside, glad to finally get a new pair of pants, and some shoes too. He didn't even remember where the heck his boots had ended up, but he'd been barefoot for a while now as well. Just a shirt, Shu's shirt, wasn't cutting it. Going immediately to their dresser he pulled out a complete change of clothes, the only thing he was keeping on were his boxer shorts for obvious reasons. "We're just going to explore, I don't know exactly where we are going. Exploring is more fun when you don't have a place in mind anyways." Either that or he was just too lazy to come up with a proper destination right now. Most definitely the latter. After slipping on a fresh, much needed change of clothing Takeshi was more than ready to go. Still, he offered a shirt over to Shu, figuring even if his brother didn't want to get dressed it couldn't hurt. "I haven't seen a ton of the West wing actually, that's the one on the other wide of the ship. How about we go over there and look around? By the time we're done I bet it'll be time for lunch... Erm... Dinner? Whatever meal this is." He was getting confused with the lack of a clear day and night cycle. It would only be too soon when they finally got back home.

Ah, so Viral was angry about how she was handling the cleaver. Smiling sheepishly as he held out the belt she took it, carefully fastening it to her waist with a little bit of trouble, it was bigger than she was. After getting it as secure as she could she carefully placed it in the holster, giving it a small jiggle to make certain it was secure. "Sorry about that," she mumbled, flashing Viral a smile and rubbing at her neck. Now they were heading to the med bay it seemed, that was good. Hopefully whatever was going on with Viral could be solved, he didn't seem at all happy to be a giant kitty cat. Frankly she was pretty sure no one, perhaps save Shu, would be thrilled with that. Goodness knows the little Saiyan would have a field day if he turned all fuzzy. With Vegeta leading Yumi followed her friends out of the training hall, taking a last glance back at the room. What a mess, thanks goodness she wasn't going to be the one to clean it up.
The remainder of the journey to Earth, mercifully, had gone on without incident. Viral had been helped back to his regular form and conflict between parties, namely Yumi and Mizuna, had been avoided. As the familiar blue orb had come into view everyone gathered on the bridge, ecstatic to be returning home. It was almost too good to be true, their home world was right there and they would be landing in just under an hour's time. The planet was in one piece too, imagine that! No signs of Saiyan activity, and as they descended to the surface it looked like there had been no trouble whatsoever. It was an incredible relief to find their planet in good standing, there had been concern amongst those who called Earth home at what they may find upon returning. As they had a rather large ship they couldn't land it just anywhere, they needed a fairly big open space. To remedy that they landed on the distant outskirts of East City, in a large set of plains. What a beautiful sight it was, coming back to their own world after so long. As soon as the ramp had descended the eagerness to get onto the ground was palpable. Takeshi immediately laid out in the tall grass, hardly caring as he soaked up the rays and enjoyed the tufts beneath him. Yumi did much in the same, though her reuniting with the planet wasn't nearly as long coming. Vegeta only spent a little bit of time rejoicing too, having to get back to the ship to shut the systems down. All of the foreigners, the crew included, were quite delighted to be on the new world. As they should be, it was most likely going to be their home for quite some time.

Celebrating their return had lasted perhaps twenty minutes, but there were things to do and it had to stay at that. Viral needed help still and Doctor Ikura needed to be found, so there was that order of business. Not to mention getting a home for everyone who had come with the group back to Earth, there was that small matter as well. Since the latter would take quite some time it was decided the ship would act as a large house for now. The city wasn't all too far off, and Vegeta arranged to have supplies brought out in order to keep everyone happy. The only one who would be leaving the ship for now would be T'charrl, who was to move in with Shu and Takeshi. Getting everything sorted out in regards to where everyone was going they parted ways, agreeing to meet back at the ship when all business was attended to. To their end Vegeta brought Viral and Yumi back to Capsule Corp, being greeted by a rather jubilant and surprised staff seeing the trio's return. Takeshi, Shu and T'charrl went to the former's house in the meantime, intending on putting together a new room or two to accommodate the others. It didn't need to be said however their knowledge of construction was... Lacking.

The act of actually finding Ikura was going to prove to be tricky. They had the doctor's name, sure, but not his location. Earth was fairly expansive, tracking down a single person with no way of knowing where he might be was going to be a massive undertaking. They would have to find a trail and follow it, talk to people that knew him. After that they would have to travel, perhaps halfway across the planet, just to see the man. Gods, and this was all provided he was even alive. They had been given the name and that was all, not even if the man was alive. Or... Maybe that big worry was all for nothing.

"You're joking... He's here? As in, East City?" Vegeta couldn't believe it, his associate had to be pulling his leg.

"It's the truth sir. Doctor Ikura has been in town for a week, helping oversee a study at the local hospitals. We were told to direct you to him if you returned in time, he's been wanting to catch up with you it seems."

Vegeta facepalmed awfully hard, not quite believing it. Here he had been digging through old files and making calls all morning to locate old friends of the doctors, and the man was ten blocks away. Sighing softly he nodded in appreciation, waving the associate out before sitting on top of his desk. It would have been awfully nice to have known this yesterday when he'd returned, until they waited to the following morning to say a word on the matter. Smiling exasperatedly he looked over at Yumi and Viral, shrugging his shoulders. "Makes me wonder why I pay people to take calls and news for me. Imbeciles..." Running a hand through his hair he looked out the window of his office, staring down at the street some three stories below. "We know where he is now, at least. And he's expecting me, so it won't be an issue seeing him. Viral, are you ready? We can leave now if you want."

Shu and T'charrl had gotten plenty of sleep the night upon their return, but not Takeshi. After cleaning out the family room for his brother and friend to rest he had gone about almost fanatically cleaning his home. Sure enough it was a mess, with visible layers of dust settled everywhere, cobwebs, and stains from goodness knows what. That wasn't even to mention the foul smell coming from his refrigerator, he had opted to just pull the entire appliance out of his home and buy a new one later. By the time dawn had rolled around he was still scrubbing away, and when the others woke up he had only just finished. Now he was sitting at the kitchen table, or to be more precise laying across it partially. With his head down on top he let out a long winded sigh, rubbing at his hair before glancing up at Shu and T'charrl.

"Right... So more bedrooms... Shouldn't be too hard..." That meant going into town and buying supplies too. They could feasibly just cut down trees around his property, but they afforded him a privacy he'd rather not give up. Thank goodness they had found the suitcase, tucked away beneath his bed and entombed in cobwebs and other bits of who knows what. The money was still perfectly fine inside, if not a bit cry and crispy, definitely worn. Money was money though and a store would most certainly take it. Looking down at the case by his foot he leaned over, grabbing it and dropping it on top of the table. "Now... I don't even know where a lumber store is in East City. Or a hardware store. Man... I don't know where anything is right now..." Takeshi complained, letting his head drop onto the table again. Boy he was sleepy.
