Writing for Irene may be a bit tough initially as she'll be more "behind the scenes", but for where it calls for her I'll certainly write plenty.

And no worries, I tend to write lengthy intros as well :p I try to cater my length of post to whoever my partner is, but I can write plenty if allowed ^^
I've never played Watson, or Sherlock, or any of them, so let's give it our best first attempt! xD I look forward to your initial post eagerly!
Yeah, if it's something natural then it may not show up as a drug would, so Holmes would have trouble detecting it.

And if you feel like we've covered enough, then sure :D I am more than happy to get this party started!
xD I just imagined a full grown man in a squirrel suit... Amazing.

I'm sure we could easily fake some of the traits, like perhaps steroids for enhanced strength or some such.

Yeah, I would say the individual cases are a bit spread out, but its over the course of a month. Want there to be a fair bit for Sherlock and co. to look into. That works for me, and awesome :D
One of our villains should be squirrel-themed! >:D It'd be amazing!

Oooh, I like that idea. Reminds me greatly of the episode from Supernatural with that crazy cook, using Shamanism to gain abilities of animals. I could certainly get used to playing that out, especially if we concoct some seriously elaborate plans, then it could almost seem as if the magic really was working. Nothing like making a genius question themselves :D

Ooooh, first movie? I wanna watch it! :D I'll check to see if it's on.
I would gladly delve more into the occult and try and make it a believable story, if only for a while :) I loved the way they showed it, even if it was rather quick.

They are cute *o* We have two pet degus here, amongst other animals, and they are so adorable!

Yes, we should go ahead and plan out the first crime :) Maybe there could be some kind of kidnapped animals, which later suggests some sort of occult ritual using said animals, to get the ball rolling in that direction.
Aito would far prefer getting Viral onto a bed right now, but he worried moving the Beastman around at all would agitate his body further. It might take just moments for the soreness to fade, or perhaps even hours, it was best they take things slow until they knew exactly what was going to come of this. Having done his best to clean up his son's nose, Aito smiled sympathetically as he held fresh gauze against the blood as he tried to stifle the bleeding. "The pain is to be expected, and it'll pass, don't worry so much. We'll move you in a few minutes, no sense in rushing it and potentially hurting you," he responded, easing himself down so he sat beside the Beastman. "Don't worry about being overly active just yet, okay? Focus on settling down and breathing, that's all you've got to focus on." Once Yumi got back with food Aito hoped that Viral would have settled some, and perhaps they could get him to eat. The IV they were using would give some general nutrients, but a bag of fluids scarcely compared to having an actually full stomach.

"Just a few meters up Shu, nothing that difficult. Go on, try it," Kabocha urged, waving on the young Prince as he hovered in the air. The fact that Shu could even get in the air told him he knew how to use Ki, but the erratic way in which he did so ought to make it so that he couldn't to begin with. Keeping a close eye on the kid to watch his movements he frowned when Shu ricocheted into the air, managing to fly up and over his instructor before landing back on the other side. Rolling his eyes, Kabocha turned around and went back down to the floor, sighing as he rubbed at his forehead. "Seriously... It's not a race, you're using way too much energy," he said impatiently, glancing down at Shu, "It's not hard, really it's not. Use a tiny bit of Ki, just enough to get off the ground, and... Hey!" Stumbling a bit as he was pushed aside Kabocha righted himself, glaring over at Takeshi as he brushed off his shoulder, "What? I'm teaching him!"

"But you're being an ass about it, that won't help him," Takeshi bit back, frowning as he shook his head, "You might know what to do, but that doesn't make you a good teacher." Realistically they should probably cooperate here, but that was the furthest thing from his mind at the moment. As with nearly everything he had turned this into a competition, and he would be damned if his way of teaching didn't work out better. Determined to show up Kabocha, the older boy smiled as he walked over to join his brother, reaching out and putting a hand on his head. "You're getting it buddy, but you've gotta slow down a bit, you know? See, watch what I do." Holding out his arms to his side to simulate balancing, Takeshi slowly began to rise up into the air, looking down at himself then back at Shu with a smile. "See? Nice and slow, just use a bit of Ki at a time, that's all you need." It was basically rehashing exactly what Kabocha was going to say, but he delivered it in a much better way, at least he thought so.

For something that was supposed to be "basic" there was sure a lot of work that went into rice. If this was one of the easier dishes to create then he couldn't even imagine what the more complex ones might be like. "Wow... I never knew so much work went into cooking," he mumbled, looking down at the pan of rice amazed, "You guys must have put a ton of work into it to learn all of these things, wish I could cook like that." As it stood he didn't even know how to cook a steak, not properly anyways. Just because stuffing it in the oven worked didn't mean it was the right way or even a good way to go about it. Smiling a bit eagerly at making his own meal, Haku left the two pans be for a while, glancing over at the doors when he heard Yumi calling out to them. Weird that she would be here, he figured she would be busy working with Viral. Getting a waft of his meal cooking the young Saiyan sighed happily, looking back over at Kai and smiling slightly as he wrung his hands together nervously. "If it's not too much to ask... Could you teach me how to cook, maybe?" he asked, biting his lip as he glanced away, "I figured I could help cook for everyone, and maybe they would like me more if I made food for them."

Yumi didn't want to interrupt whoever was cooking in there, but she did need to grab something for Viral to eat. Maybe if there was some spare food being prepared she could take a plate to go, unless the food was only for whoever was preparing it. Poking her head into the mess hall she sniffed at the air curiously, a smile spreading across her lips as she caught scent of the meals cooking. They sure did smell tasty, but she had to remember she was here for Viral, not herself. Walking idly towards the swinging doors she raised an eyebrow when Choi came hurrying out, smiling at him cheerfully as she folded her hands behind her back. "Hey Choi, hope I'm not interrupting you guys. I'm just here to find something for Viral to eat is all," Yumi explained, smiling sadly as she itched at one of her ears, "He's changed back to his regular self, but he's really not feeling well. I'm kind of hoping if we can get him to eat something tasty then he'll start feeling better."
There wasn't much that could be done to halt Viral's nosebleed right now, just apply pressure and let it sort itself out. Something like this was hardly going to be fatal, just a minor inconvenience during this crucial phase in the Beastman's recovery. Watching as blood leaked onto his hand unphased, Aito smiled sympathetically as Viral finally found his voice, certainly sounding drained from the whole ordeal. "Your body is reeling from the energy expended from your transformation, think of it almost as coming down from an adrenaline high. It's going to be rough initially, but once we get a bit of food in you then you'll feel better." He knew that Viral had an aversion to eating, but they had to give it a try; if the Beastman wouldn't eat solid foods then all of his nutrients would have to come intravenously. Pulling away the soiled clump of gauze Aito changed it out for a new one, first cleaning up Viral's nose as best he could before reapplying pressure. "I know it's a little hard right now Viral, but you need to tell me if there's anything else that doesn't feel right. It'll help me focus on what we need to fix."

Takeshi really didn't want to have Kabocha butting in like this, but if Shu wanted two teachers then so be it. Sure, he had none of the fancy instruction that a noble Saiyan did even if he was a Prince, but then he didn't need it; a handful of teachers and some self-instruction had taught him all he needed to know. Figuring he'd let their friend take the first shot at it he stepped back, frowning as he folded his arms and watched Shu. If he knew so much better then the little guy should be able to get it on the first try, using that oh-so-excellent instruction of Kabocha's. The task assigned was simple enough, but then in knowing his sibling he'd find some way to add difficulty to it. Watching Shu fly up, Takeshi's eyes widened in alarm, moving quickly but missing to catch the younger boy as he plummeted back to the floor. Thank goodness he was durable, though it was extremely worrisome to watch as it was eerily familiar to their first time flying. Letting out a sigh of exasperation he rubbed at his head, narrowing his eyes then at Kabocha to see how he wanted to go about that.

"Too excited? You used way too much energy for such a simple thing," Kabocha responded, placing his hands on his hips before shaking his head, "Don't you have any control? It's not enough to know how to do it, you have to regulate how much you use. I can see we've got a ton of work to do..." Hmph, he was starting to wonder if Takeshi had even tried teaching Shu how to regulate his Ki, or if he just showed him the moves and then let him loose. Considering how erratic and excessive the young Prince's attacks usually looked it was probably the latter, which while perhaps fine if they were out in the open was an awful thing inside an enclosed ship. "Okay, change of plans. Since you seem to want to smash into the ceiling I'm thinking we won't go that high, not just yet. Instead of flying all the way up..." Kabocha began, rising into the air just a few meters off the ground, "Just come up to me. And I don't mean overshoot me then come back down, I mean come right up to where I am. Take it slow if you have to."

Haku just sort of shrugged his shoulders at his choice, not really knowing what more he could do. Rice in of itself was tricky enough, how was he going to request anything else? Plus, where it looked like the twins were going to have to help cook his meal he didn't want to be too greedy and annoy them, as if he wasn't already. Watching and listening intently as Kai gave his explanation, the Saiyan nodded a few times before shuffling through the cabinets to find the rice grains, taking out the box to pour some in. "So put the rice in, then hot water, got it..." Haku mumbled, taking the words literally as he poured a fairly large serving of rice into the pan before smothering it with steaming water. Once he had put the pot back onto the burner he glanced into the pot curiously, having trouble figuring out how doing this made those crispy grains look like poofy rice. "Advanced...? You mean you can do more with it?" he asked, earnestly confused as he looked at Kai, "But there's nothing in it. Or are we going to add stuff?"

Yumi sincerely hoped Viral was going to be okay, as he hadn't looked terribly well when she left. Just looking like himself again wasn't enough to be healthy, there was still tons of work that had to be done for that to happen. For the time being it was a start, but she would have to spend even more time with her friend in case he should need anything. It was all she did, it seemed, spend time with Viral now, almost as if she was just a sort of nurse waiting on him. Well, if that was all she did then she would do her best at it, as getting Viral healthy again was near everyone's priority now. Nodding to herself confidently she smiled as she looked up at the doors to the kitchen, determined to find something for her friend to help him get his energy back. Before she had even opened the doors, Yumi picked up on the smell of cooking food, eyebrows raising before she entered the mess hall and glanced around curiously, "Hello? Who's in here?"
Tetsuya really didn't appreciate a stranger being in his room and insulting him like this. Even if Lord Shima had indeed sent Jiang that didn't necessarily mean he was going to personally like the man. For his Lord's sake he would cooperate, or try to, but that was about the extent of their partnership. His position softened a little when some of the uncertainty was cleared, yet the Neko still held some reservations. Just who was he exactly, and what reason was he here, handling Shima matters? Far as Tetsuya could recall, Jiang wasn't a resident of Shima, so did that make him a hired sword? Leaving a job so sensitive and important to someone like that didn't seem right, and he became naturally wary of anyone from outside his home; trusting Jiang wasn't impossible, but for the time being he wasn't exactly going to befriend the man.

Looking at Jiang curiously as he proposed a meeting tomorrow, Tetsuya bit his lip uncertainly and glanced over at the door. Should be bother? It would probably be more of the same, with the man trying to convince him to go and see Lady Ru. He couldn't see much purpose in it if that were the case, but if they were to be cooperating on this mission of theirs he figured he should at least make an effort to get along. "Well... Alright then, I guess I can do that much," the Neko mumbled, looking back at Jiang with a slight frown, "As long as you agree that you won't go and see Lady Ru by yourself. You're helping us in Shima's affairs, so it's only right that someone from Shima come along. I've already spoken with her, so it'd make sense for me to go with you since I know her at least." Hopefully the Princess wasn't there tomorrow, he wasn't so sure he could take more of her odd behavior.

"Whatever you decide, let me know in the morning. I've been walking all day and I'm tired, I need sleep," Tetsuya added, stifling a yawn with one hand as he stretched the other up over his head. His armor didn't really contribute to his exhaustion, at least not anymore as he was used to the added weight. Actually being on his feet all day, coupled with not eating much had taken its toll and now that the day had winded down he was really feeling the effects. Shuffling over to where his bedroll lay he took a seat on the floor beside it, again stretching his arms with a big yawn before rubbing at his eyes, glancing up at Kenji and Jiang curiously. "Unless you two plan on sharing a room with me I'd appreciate a bit of privacy. Just come knocking whenever you're up Jiang, I should be awake plenty early."
I'll post :p
