Occasional nuisance and tedious pacing aside, Sasuke did enjoy going to class. Learning and improving was something he enjoyed, even if he didn't think he needed as much as his peers. As far as ninjutsu was concerned he was already ahead of the class, and he boldly predicted it would remain that way throughout their time at the academy. Did he know it all? No, and he knew that, but he was confident in his abilities. He knew discipline was a big aspect of it as well, and that too he thought he had in droves; he never got in trouble in class, unlike some of the other kids, and he did as he was told, wasn't that discipline?

"I know we're sneaky... Just some seem... Silly." Paper bombs for instance, what was sneaky about that? They could blow apart a building, there was absolutely nothing sneaky about that. Kunai he got, wire made sense, as did shuriken, but bombs? He was alright with his bow and he'd been practicing his kunai technique, not to mention he wanted to look into the Shadow Shuriken jutsu as well, shouldn't that be enough? He could probably use a few things fairly well, that should more than suffice at making him a shinobi.

With the meal coming quickly to an end, they had to figure out what they were doing next. It was a little presumptuous for Sasuke to expect Yura to join him in anything, but he did want to try and keep her company for as long as he could. After being graced by another person, another Uchiha, for any period of time he had no desire to going back to being alone. She had been training before this, hadn't she? Well maybe she'd let him tag along, or even train with her; Sasuke knew he wasn't remotely equal to her in terms of skill, but it would be nice to have a partner.

"Iruka...? I... I don't think so. He'd be happy I'm practicing," Sasuke answered uncertainly, hoping that to be true. Bows weren't really something they were taught to handle in the academy, he more took it up because of Itachi and from personal interest. If Yura was willing to let him train with it, something his instructors might not allow, then he was all too happy to do so. Looking at her somewhat skeptically when she said she'd snatch his arrows, the Uchiha boy hesitated briefly before giving a little nod, not seeing any problems with that. "If you want to, sure... I'll go get my bow."

Taking his polished off plate first to the sink, Sasuke set it down before hurrying off to his room, his bow sitting just under the window by the far wall. It was a little recurve bow, and he had roughly 7 arrows still in good condition in his quiver. Strapping the latter over his chest, he slung the bow over his right shoulder and hurried back out of the room, stopping briefly at the dining room to wave to Yura and show her he was ready. Then, slipping out to the back of his house he moved to the middle of the yard, waiting with some anticipation for his new partner to get here. Was he feeling excited? It was either that or nervous, he couldn't tell, but having a break from the monotony had him feeling all sorts of things right now.
Aito's face hardened for the briefest of moments at Viral's accusation, not at all appreciating it. Then, remember it was most likely not sincere he softened, letting out a sigh as he rubbed at his head. "I understand that, and I won't be conducting unwarranted tests anymore, I already said I wouldn't," the doctor responded, "If anything more needs to be done, you'll be notified beforehand and we'll need your permission to begin. I won't say that we won't have to run any more tests before this is done, because it may be a lie, so just understand that. Anything we do conduct is purely for your benefit." Leaving Viral to try and rest, Aito opted to do the same for himself, albeit in a different way. There was a plethora of questions currently demanding his attention, and he needed to find a way to address them relatively quickly. Viral's condition aside, he'd been asked to look into Shu, look into T'charrl, investigate what had been done to Yumi and even monitor Kiton's health as he recovered. Four patients, not overly intimidating numerically, but their conditions presented an array of problems for him. Mental, physical, emotional, cognitive, these were all issues for them in varying degrees, he had a lot of work for himself. Sitting down in a relaxed position, Aito closed his eyes and began an attempt to meditate, hoping to clear his mind and think clearly; doing this ought to provide Viral with privacy as well, despite only being a few meters away.

Takeshi had not expected to be the target of eraser-assault, and was quite surprised when he was struck. Wincing despite there being no pain he blinked just twice before looking at Vegeta defensively, rubbing a bit of smudge off of his forehead. That so wasn't necessary! But the guy was already going back to writing on the board, and he'd probably just ignore any attempts at talking, so on to T'charrl then. "Heh... Yeah, sorry about that. I guess everyone's trying to stay busy, even if they're in the hospital," the Saiyan remarked, coming over to the bedside and looking for a place to set Shu, "Like you are, studying and whatnot, you know? No one likes being made to sit around and do nothing." Hell, T'charrl would probably be out with them if he wasn't stuck here, poor guy. Finding a bit of space on the edge of the bed, Takeshi turned and eased Shu down to sit on it, smiling as he ruffled his brother's hair before stretching his bandaged shoulder carefully. "Oh, right! Uh we figured Shu was going to join your lesson, he wants to learn some stuff too. So if that's cool with you..."

"Whether it's 'cool' with me or not is irrelevant, you brought him here and so he'll learn," Vegeta responded without letting Takeshi finish, "It hardly matters to me if I have one student or ten, doesn't complicate my job any." It wasn't as though they were covering astrophysics or anything of the sort, this was very simple material that even Takeshi might be capable of teaching. In particular they were learning how to write at the moment, relatively simplistic sentences at that. With Shu now joining the lessons, he took a brief moment to grab another pad of paper and a pencil, bringing them over and handing them to the younger boy. T'charrl had already been instructed how to use them, but chances were Shu was a little clueless right now. "That thing in your hand is a pencil, and you use it to write," Vegeta explained, pulling one out of his pocket to show, "You generally hold one like this, but for your case and since you're learning, you can try like this," he added, holding the pencil enclosed in his palm. It was how a little child would use one, but for all intents and purposes Shu was basically that right now, so it would do. Going back to the board he pointed to the sentence there, and it read 'The cat is black'. "I just want you to try and copy this down you two, that's all. Shu? Have you been taught your alphabet yet? That means your letters."

Even when he was injured Kiton could strike fairly hard, no wonder his people used to be so feared. The power gap between them when he was healthy was likely massive, she'd never have a chance at really beating him then. But this wasn't a real fight again, it was more a show of technique than anything. Being knocked away hadn't deterred her any, and instead Sasha came right back in for a counter attack, bringing her leg up almost completely vertically in a jump before throwing it down, unsurprisingly being blocked by Kiton. Getting grabbed then she was thrown around by her leg, his tail coming around to strike her down again too. Reaching out she managed to not only grab his tail, but hold onto it and prevent herself from being tossed. Using the tail as leverage even, Sasha pulled herself back in and tried to knock Kiton to the ground, using her small frame as almost a battering ram to do so.
For yet another simple meal, Yura's cooking was delightfully delicious. Maybe it was just the contrast of having reheated food for the last few days, but this breakfast was really tasty. Sasuke ate slowly, savoring every bite as he didn't want it to be gone too soon. If he kept doing as she asked and she kept being nice, would he get these meals every day? He hoped so, cooking was hard and he still didn't quite know how to cook an egg, let alone an entire meal. If nothing else, having Yura around would be nice for that,

Sasuke hadn't gotten terribly far into the meal when Yura finally joined him, evidently not being too much into training right now. That was fine by him, it meant he didn't have to eat alone. Maybe he wasn't much for striking up conversation just yet, but having another presence here certainly helped. "This is yummy... Thank you..." the little Uchiha mumbled, his cheeks flushing as he smiled and took another bite. Just a tiny bit of salt, nothing else, yet it was exactly what he wanted. Like last night he was doing his best not to inhale what was on his plate, taking small, patient bites every few seconds instead of engulfing it in one go.

"Uh... No, no school today," the Uchiha boy answered, "It's our one day off. Sensei is probably making plans for tomorrow though." Iruka was the man's name, and he worked quite tirelessly to give them the education they needed. He also had a bit of a temper, and a tendency to go off on a few of the clowns of the class. Sasuke thought they were, on occasion, funny, but more often than not found them annoying. Especially as of late where all he had were his lessons, the fact someone was detracting from that was almost an insult. Knowing it wasn't his place to correct his peers though, and that Iruka would try himself and fail, he didn't bother anyways.

"Well... We've been learning how to practice hand signs, and what ones are used for certain jutsu. Iruka won't let us actually try jutsu just yet though, I think it's kind of dumb." He could already perform a fireball jutsu, albeit at a relatively basic level. That had to be leagues ahead of his peers though, so why couldn't he try? It was a bit disconcerting, he hoped they would get to practice sooner rather than later. "We also learned about some of the ninja's weapons, and what they're used for. There's a lot of them, I don't get why we need so many..." Then, as if having a sudden change of heart, Sasuke's eyes got a slight twinkle to them, and he lifted his head to look up at Yura with a spark of hope. "I have a bow, and I know how to use it. Do you think, maybe... I can train with that?"
Sasuke was a bit puzzled, not seeing Yura immediately upon waking. He really hoped she hadn't left, he was a bit hungry again and was looking forward to a warm meal. That, and having to be alone again after just finding another Uchiha would be utterly unbearable for him. He didn't see her immediately, but upon stumbling across two plates of food in the dining room it was safe to say she was still around. His stomach grumbled at the smell of the meal, yet he shuffled on past them for now, wanting to find Yura first. With it being his own home he could find her fairly quickly, he just needed to know where to look. After searching through the rooms first, he made his way out to the back yard, and was surprised to find the woman there, training away.

She was definitely in a good mood, smiling away as she greeted him like that. Managing a slight smile of his own, Sasuke folded his hands in front of him, not sure if he should wave or say hi back. He didn't mean to interrupt her session, maybe he'd head back inside and eat. Or he could be offered to train with Yura, there was an unexpected offer. Blinking slightly in surprise he pointed at himself, as if there was anyone else she might be addressing. "Y-You want to train... With me...?" he asked, not sounding all too certain. She was an adult and probably leagues above him, he'd probably only keep her back if they trained together. Still though... It might be nice to do something to keep himself busy, instead of sitting around.

"Uh... M-Maybe later? I kind of want to eat first..." Sasuke responded, placing one hand on his stomach. He would like it if she joined him though, it would be nice to have some company with his meal. How did he go about asking though? Just come right out and say it? Lowering his eyes for a moment he bit his lip, twisting his fingers together as he tried to sum up the courage to make the request. "I want you to... Um..." he began, mumbling meekly as he shifted his weight on his feet. Finally lifting his head after a moment he forced a little smile again, his eyes almost tearing up as he looked at Yura hopefully. "I'd like to eat with you... Please..."

If she decided to come and join him then fine, he'd more than happily welcome her at the table. After making the request Sasuke promptly turned around, going back to the familiar dining room where he'd spent so many meals before. The food was still there, and a bit of steam still poured off of it, so with luck it would be plenty fresh. Taking a seat on the tatami flooring he folded his legs, placing his hands together per usual before the meal. "Itadakimasu!" Pulling apart his chopsticks then, Sasuke began to slowly eat his meal, a bit too hungry to wait for Yura to join him. He hoped she didn't think this was rude, he just really wanted to eat while it was warm, that was all.
The talk of Cecil being essentially killed and his wondering why he was here was a bit too heavy for Ethan's liking, particularly during a meal. They were here to work, and also refill their stomachs and chat. It wasn't that he had no intention of facing those things, because he did, just not right this very moment. "O-Of course I can tell! You can just feel when someone's good or not," the wind magi replied vaguely, smiling as he began sorting out the food, "I mean, the man on the bridge? Something felt funny, but I wanted to try and be friendly anyways. It won't get us anywhere if we act rude or suspicious of every person we meet." If they ever needed help, like during this search, it made far more sense to befriend everyone than it did make enemies. That, and it was just in Ethan's nature to act friendly as opposed to threaten someone, he really had no love for the latter.

Getting the food was the biggest blessing of the day, and both Ethan and Amuné dug in with renewed enthusiasm; Wyth ate quite fervently too, but only fish. They didn't take very long at all to work through their food, and by the time they were done most of the dishes were wiped clean. Letting out a content sigh after the fact, Ethan leaned back in his seat and placed his hands across his bloated stomach, suppressing a belch as he relaxed. "Ooooh that was good... Really hit the spot..." he mumbled happily, closing his eyes with a smile and letting out a happy sigh. If they could just sit here for an hour or so and nap, that would be swell. That was what he wanted to do, yet they were still on a task from Norman, and couldn't quite ignore that now could they? Amuné certainly didn't think so, and for some reason she was wanting to see the picture of Nymira.

"Huh? Oh, sure. One sec Amuné," Ethan responded, sitting upright and digging the photo out of his pocket, passing it over. Expecting the little girl to take it, he paused and watched with confusion as she seemed to turn rigid suddenly, her eyes glazing over. Was she alright? Exchanging a worried glance with Cecil he sat by silently and just kept a careful eye on their young companion, not entirely sure what was going on right now. It didn't last terribly long, and when whatever had happened had ended Amuné drew away quickly, like something bad was being offered out to her. Okay, now he was really confused, that couldn't have been normal. Had she passed out or something? He couldn't come up with any kind of explanation for that scene just now, but it had him concerned.

Now that she had that episode behind her, Amuné sounded very worried and determined to find Nymira. Just what in the world had that been? "Uh... Are you okay Amuné? You just kind of... Blanked there for a minute." She looked really flustered too, which only served to add to Ethan's concern over her. Something had happened just now, and whatever it was it had the little Ydran all flustered and worried. They all had probably considered the fact the Dimuran had been taken, yet Amuné's oddly vague comment just now made him consider it even more. Did she somehow know what was going on? Was that what just happened? He'd have to ask later, right now he wanted to focus on getting to action. If Nymira was in half the danger that Amuné made her out to be, they may not have very much time to get to her.

"Okay, we're getting to work! No sense in keeping her waiting any longer," Ethan said with a smile, trying to lift the mood again as he pushed himself from the table and stood up, "Cecil, Amuné, go ahead and step outside real quick, I'm going to check something." There was someone in this place they hadn't spoken to really, and they were the one person who might really have some useful information. Heading to the counter at the head of the building, Ethan waved to the innkeeper for them to come over, leaning across the counter as they approached. With no one nearby he felt they could ask, but he'd keep his voice low, just in case. "Hey, uh... We're trying to find a friend of ours, we were supposed to meet her in Galloway. She's a Dimura woman, kind of short and all, black hair. Did she come through here?"

The innkeeper looked at Ethan with a hesitant expression for a moment, giving away that they most likely did know something. Like the Magi they took a brief look to make certain no one was listening in to their conversation, leaning down as well and swallowing uncertainly. "We don't get a lot of Dimura here, so I might have seen her, and I might not have..." he began, his eyes gleaming knowingly as he glanced at Ethan.

Oh jeez, he was doing this right now? Ethan didn't have any coppers left, how was he going to pay this man for the information? Did he have anything of value to hand over? Not really, and he certainly wasn't going to ask Amuné or Cecil to pay up for the information. "Please, if you know anything, tell me. I swear I'll pay you back," Ethan begged, lowering his head as he spoke, "I don't have money now, but I'll get you whatever you want when we're done looking for her, that's a promise."

"A promise, huh? You'd better keep that promise, because I don't usually do this for free," the innkeeper responded, frowning as he watched Ethan beg, "But fine, you have a deal. I might have seen your friend earlier, though I don't know what kind of friends you keep there buddy. She was being escorted by a group of men, and they were heading over towards the western side of town. Looked like some sort o' official business, and I keep my nose out of that," he explained, standing upright and resuming to polish a glass, trying to play it off, "I'll be keeping an eye out for you, don't let me down kid."

Oh wow, had they actually just gotten that lucky? Ethan couldn't believe it, this man had told them where to find Nymira. Or a general idea at least, they could narrow down their search after the fact. "Thanks! And I swear you'll get your money, don't you worry!" he replied with a grin, bowing graciously before quickly heading for the door. It was a lead anyways, and maybe once they got closer they could start pinning down Nymira's actual location. Beaming at his companions as he stepped outside, he flashed them a thumbs up as a show of success. "He said the western part of town, that's where he thinks she had gone. So we just gotta head there!" he announced triumphantly, turning before pausing and letting out a chuckle, his face flushing slightly. "Er... Which way is west?"
Sasuke wanted to be alone, and yet he wanted Yura to be there too. Everything was just so confusing as of late, he was exhausted and lonely and had no idea whatsoever what it was he wanted. Having been determined to leave the woman be, something about seeing her cry as well prompted the young Uchiha to stay. Maybe it was realizing she felt the same pain, or his having some desire to, despite his own anguish, to help her. More likely than not however it was simply the fact he felt bad that she was upset as well, and for not having considered that before. She was an Uchiha as well, of course she was upset, how couldn't she be? They were the only two left here in Konohagakure, which meant no matter how difficult things might be, and they were difficult, they had to stick together.

To that end, Sasuke embraced Yura for the first time since their meeting. He let all of his heartbreak, his loneliness, his relief at finding another, all the emotions came rushing to the surface and wracked his body with sobs. Desperate for any kind of comfort he shuffled into her arms, grasping on and letting the tears flow shamelessly. He wasn't going to be alone now, there was someone else here who shared his pain and who could take care of him. How could he repay that? He didn't know, he didn't think he ever could, but at this very moment a wave of relief and contentment washed over him, albeit they were well hidden under his sobs and the breakdown.

Sasuke didn't know how long he'd cried for, but after some time the tears had ceased and he only could sniffle pitifully, feeling absolutely exhausted after that. He wanted to sleep now, he had a full stomach and felt marginally better for letting out all that pent up tension. His home was still a bit of a walk though, and he was preparing to make the trek when Yura picked him up. Just earlier tonight he might have protested such a gesture, yet instead he laid his head in the crook of her neck, holding onto her shirt as he allowed himself to be carried. It was... Nice, getting this treatment from someone, so much so that he almost smiled. Almost.

Being set in bed was absolutely heavenly, and it took a very brief period for Sasuke to fall asleep. He could vaguely recall Yura tucking him in and even giving him a kiss, but he'd been so out of it by then he'd not reacted. Darkness had claimed him for the evening, yet for the first time in days it wasn't smothering or frightening, he actually managed to rest somewhat peacefully. Having another's presence, one that wanted to help him, seemed to do an immeasurable amount of good for the boy. By the time his eyes eventually fluttered open, the sun was leaking in from between the blinds in his room, and the faint noise of songbirds outside carried in as well. His eyes still stung slightly, but his breathing felt a little lighter and he was most certainly better rested than the night before.

"Nnn... Yura...?" Where was she? Surely she didn't leave, did she? Sliding out of bed, Sasuke let out a soft yawn and rubbed at his eyes, stepping out of his room in search of the woman in question. What time was it? He wondered if they could have breakfast, she was a decent cook and he liked having a hot meal again, if she didn't mind cooking that was.
Was it Yura's fault that she had no answer? Probably not, but Sasuke couldn't differentiate that. To him she was someone who may have been able to stop the massacre, and yet she'd been off on some mission instead. A mission so intensive that it kept her away from him for all of his life, how else could he not know about her? Had she shown up prior to all of this he'd be delighted to have another clan member, someone he might call family one day. Now though he couldn't accept it, or he was having an awful time of doing so. He ought to be elated that there was someone left, and yet at the same time he felt betrayed by the selfsame person.

Did he want to be alone? Did he want to accept Yura? Sasuke had no answer, he was torn between these two ideas and was finding it impossible to pick either side. Maybe it was just too soon for someone to be showing up like this; the loss of his family was still raw, and the idea of forming a new one hurt. Wanting to be rid of all this pain, the young Uchiha did the only thing he could think of and tried to leave, desperate to make the discomfort stop. With his book clutched possessively to his chest, Sasuke left the dining room in a hurry and left the house, wanting to get back to the secure, if lonely, home he'd grown up in.

He hadn't made it even out of sight of Yura's home before she came chasing after him, making his pace quicken slightly. If he stopped and talked to her then he might stay, but staying was only going to hurt more. It wasn't until she suddenly grabbed hold of his shoulder and spoke that he stopped, albeit he didn't turn around to face her. He could hear the pain in her voice, and was terribly confused by it. Why was she upset? Her family hadn't died, so what was she crying about?

This was my clan too...

That's right... It had been her clan. Away on a mission or not, Yura must have had some family here. Even if she didn't she must have known someone, or been close to someone. Sasuke hadn't really considered that before, he'd only thought of his own losses without considering hers too. Was she just as sad as he was then? But she was managing to smile, why? Because of him? Again his heart twisted painfully, but for a different reason this time; Yura was able to find happiness in this and yet he couldn't. There was only one way he could feasibly see doing so, yet that meant accepting a woman he was still unfamiliar with, and somehow moving on from what had just happened. Could he move on? There may never be a 'moving on', but maybe he should try living at the very least.

Nervously, Sasuke turned himself around to face Yura, glancing up at her face to meet her gaze. His own eyes were still red around the lids and raw from crying, his cheeks damp with tears and his lips still quivering. She was trying to help him through all of this, and while he may still be reeling, for the first time he had a true sense of support. She was here now, even if she hadn't been then, and in its own way that was just as important. His shell of resilience, however thin it might have been, finally broke at that second, giving way to the ruined child beneath. With a loud, pained wail he dropped his books at his feet, shuffling over to Yura and burying himself against her stomach, clutching to her and desperate for comfort. She was not his mother, nor would she ever be. She couldn't replace his family or undo the tragedy that he had witnessed, none of that was possible. But maybe, just maybe, she could help him start over. Maybe life wasn't so pointless after all.
Aito raised his hands defensively when Viral became upset, figuring he'd react in such a way. It was a fair reaction, anyone would be upset if they knew they were in the middle of being tested. Granted it wasn't in the traditional sense, they were more seeing what methods worked best for the Beastman, yet one could argue that testing was testing, regardless. "You're right, I should have been absolutely transparent about that from the start, I apologize. I won't try anything like that without your explicit consent." Chances were however this was the route they were meant to take with this, so they'd not be experimenting with methods any longer. Their decided upon path wasn't the easiest, but it was by far the most simplistic one with a high guarantee of results. Hoping to get Viral to rest now, the doctor got to his feet and moved a few meters away, taking a seat back on the grass. "I'll be so silent you won't even know I'm here," Aito responded, smiling as he playfully zipped his lips. Just as well he remained silent, he could observe Viral and, with luck, the Beastman would fall asleep. He couldn't expect that to happen if he was actively staring Viral down though, he'd need a grace period for that. Folding his legs then, Aito inhaled deeply before laying his hands in his lap, exhaling and trying to get into a state for meditation, hoping to pass the time by doing so.

Friends were kind of hard to have everywhere, was what Takeshi wanted to say. Granted he'd probably been the entire reason he'd never had friends, as who in their right mind would befriend him back then? Only Shu would even try, anyone else ignored him or turned tail and left when he showed up. Really he owed quite a lot to the little guy, and he'd never really done much to show any gratitude. How could he? Be a better brother? Spend more time with him? They were already always together, so maybe he had to do more. He could always ask Vegeta for advice, seeing as they were coming up on the guy's room here pretty quickly. "He'll get out when he feels better buddy, I don't know how long that is going to take," Takeshi answered, heading down the hall to T'charrl's room, "He's probably feeling better already though, we'll just have to find out!" And here it was, their friend's room. One could barely hear the sound of Vegeta's voice on the other side of the door, apparently they were in mid lesson. Not a problem for Takeshi, he was sure they'd be fine with him and Shu coming to sit in on the lecture. Grabbing the door he opened it up without so much as a knock, grinning as he stepped into the room. "Yo! What's going on guys!" he said cheerfully, only to wince as a hand shot to his forehead a second later. Opening one eye he saw Vegeta giving him a plain-faced stare, but his eyes said "Knock you idiot", or something like that, an evidently he'd thrown an eraser at Takeshi. Frowning he rubbed at the spot on his head, kicking the eraser back over to their friend before smiling at T'charrl. "Hey! Glad to see you're awake!"

Dodging with style, was it? That was new, Sasha had never heard it referred to as such before now. She'd been called a coward by some for avoiding strikes, and others have claimed she was more fit to be a dancer or something than a fighter. Funny, everyone who'd ever insulted her style of fighting had lost to her, that said something about it. Granted she had never fought someone of Kiton's caliber before, and they weren't fighting for the type of victory one normally would in battle, but she was somewhat amused to find it still being degraded almost. She had managed to land a kick on Kiton, yet seeing him in evident pain made her rethink this training. Before she could voice any doubts, however, he was back on the offensive, coming in with a flurry of kicks. Doing her best to dodge them she leaned back to evade the first, ducking low on the second and managing to get a hand on the third, pushing the leg aside just enough to avoid being struck. The fourth however connected with her shoulder and knocked her back a few steps, and then coupled with taking a hit from the tail she was sent flying off, managing to flip and land on all fours after the fact. He hit hard, very hard, but now she was just excited to continue. She knew what to expect and had all the more reason to dodge it. Coming right back in after being batted away, Sasha jumped slightly this time to start, turning around and lifting her leg well above her head, trying to bring it down at an angle against Kiton.
O-musubi, it was a dish his mother rarely made but he adored. If there was any one thing that Yura was going to make for him, then it would be that. Would it even remotely compare to his mother's cooking? He doubted it, but Sasuke wanted to give it a try regardless. Was she actually going to do it though? Try cooking for him? He hated it, but the young Uchiha was being cynical of every movement, every word, and he couldn't bring himself to trust this woman. There were just some things that made no sense about this situation, and until he got his answers he couldn't readily put his life in her hands. How did he even go about asking though? Even just thinking about what he wanted to ask made him choke up, yet if he never got it out, then how'd he know?

Somehow Sasuke had managed to pose the question that had been plaguing him since their meeting: Where was Yura during the attack? She was an Uchiha, and every Uchiha was in the village somewhere, at some point, right? The fact she hadn't been present for the attack left him utterly confused, it was like she'd not existed before now. What else was there? Oh yeah, why was he left alive? Out of everyone else in the clan, he had been the only one to be spared. Itachi claimed it was for some selfish goal, he wanted someone to test his own power against. Right, who would test their power against him? He was weak and just a crybaby, he couldn't ever challenge his older brother. So why? Why was he alive? Why did he have to live alone with this pain? He'd gone a while without it, yet once more Sasuke found himself doubled over, his little frame wracked with sobs as his emotions spilled out effortlessly.

So that was Yura's excuse? That she had been on a mission? It didn't make any sense! He'd at least have seen her before somewhere, he knew every member of their clan for goodness sakes! He didn't know her face, nor her name, nor who she might be related to or what family exactly she was from. If she had truly been away on a mission then she must have been away for all her life, because Sasuke had never heard of her until yesterday. She was basically a ghost, someone who didn't exist; right now, even those who he knew to be gone felt more real than Yura did.

So she couldn't give him any answers, only excuses. It was just like everyone else in the village then, no one could explain what had happened. Not his friends, not other adults, not even the Hokage could offer an explanation. No one knew anything, and that sense of bewilderment and isolation was crushing for the young Sasuke. Whimpering pitifully as he fought to keep himself under control, the Uchiha child grabbed hold of his book and clutched it to his chest securely, sliding off of the chair and nearly falling down while doing so. Without a word to Yura he left the kitchen, wandering through the home to try and find somewhere, anywhere, where he might be alone. He was stupid to think she might be able to give him answers, and he was probably fooling himself into thinking she sincerely wanted to care for him. She'd probably be gone by morning, and frankly with how little she could offer him aside from food, he was okay with that.
"How could I get statistics? Hm... Conjecture, running models, using accounts Vegeta took, various ways. I know what the treatments should produce, I know to a fairly certain degree your previous level of strength, so by using those data sets I can reasonably draw a conclusion on how you should progress after recovering." Aito explained, taking pause as he thought over what he said before chuckling, "Er... Putting it simply, I know how you used to be, and I know what our treatments should do, so I'm drawing my estimates based off of those." Everything was, at this point, an estimate. Without a hard, numerical value to attribute to Viral, there was no telling just how strong he truly was at any given point. The day of 'power levels' was long gone, as science had shown there was no accurate way to gauge these, and objects like scouters had largely been done away with. Now, if one sported one, it seemed more for communications than anything. Opting to give Viral a little space again, Aito moved a meter or so away before sitting down cross-legged, placing his hands on his knees as he let out a yawn. "Enough of that though, we can discuss treatment any time. Let's try resting again, hm?"

June's view on life didn't exactly gel with Takeshi, but he wasn't going to argue with her over it. If that's how she got through life, thinking everything had a reason, then fine, that was her thing. He much more preferred thinking that whether good or bad things all happened from what you did, not because of something as weird as fate or whatever. It wasn't fate he decided to be nice to Shu after a while, and it wasn't fate that made them close now. Exchanging a smile with the younger boy he perked up a bit, glad that Shu was able to be happy again. "Hey... Watch the cuddling squirt, you're making me embarrassed," Takeshi quipped, his cheeks flushing as he broke into a bashful grin, "I'm the same way though, I never knew what even having a friend was like until I met you, so imagine how I feel. I got a brother and a friend on the same day." This was way more emotional and feely then he was used to, and while it felt nice he couldn't help but feel self-aware of how gushy he was being. Glancing over at June his face reddened further when he saw her smiling at them dotingly, huffing and looking ahead, picking up the pace as they walked through the gates to the hospital. "Where are T'charrl and Vegeta anyways? They in T'charrl's room?"

"I would imagine so, I don't think your friend was running around earlier now was he?" June retorted, suppressing a laugh at egging on Takeshi. It was a little immature to push his buttons like that, but it was always fun to mess with the tough guy of the group. "Yes, they're in T'charrl's room, they should still be in fact. I just hope we're not interrupting any lessons by going in." She couldn't imagine anything they were going over being private, and she was positive Vegeta wouldn't mind teaching Shu in tandem with their alien friend. Waving to the staff as they walked through the lobby, June ushered the brothers into the elevator, wanting to be quick as opposed to taking the stairs. Fitting into the space with them she pressed the button for just the next floor up, the ride taking a very brief few seconds. Curiously, she noticed that Takeshi seemed to hold Shu closer during the lift and appeared to be talking to him to keep him calm, though she didn't get why. When the doors opened they were quick to step out too, and she followed after them with a puzzled look on her face.

"Good sport? You're the stronger one here, aren't you? Shouldn't you be the good sport and go easy on me?" Sasha joked, smirking as she deftly avoided Kiton's chop by leaning back. Most people simply jumped or dashed away, it was generally the best way to dodge attacks. When you could do what she could however, it was just as easy to twist and turn to escape being struck. Missing her kick as she flipped back up, she landed back on her feet with ease and smiled amused when the Frost Demon complained about her movements. "Of course it's fighting, it's just not a way you're used to." Coming back in with a chop of her own she missed by a fair amount, having to lean back and to the left to avoid a fist coming down on her. Spotting the leg coming out at her she reached out, placing her hand on the limb and jumping up, using Kiton's leg as a springboard as she sailed over him, landing on her toes behind him before quickly spinning on just her left foot, pulling her leg in before trying to kick him away in the small of his back.
