"Well... I mean it's a little scary sometimes, not knowing what to expect. It's always scary when you go into something you know nothing about," Yumi spoke thoughtfully, nodding to herself. She knew plenty well enough how hard it could be to do things you've never done before, having made several big changes through her own life. Her desire to go off and learn martial arts for instance hadn't been the easiest of choices. Leaving her parents behind, people who would have supported her if she stayed home, that was something which bothered her for a long time. "We'll have to find a way to help you with that then, unless you think it's something you need to do alone? I get that sometimes people need space to sort things out, so if you need room then just tell us," Yumi added with a smile to T'charrl, "But know we're here to do what we can do, however much or little that might be. Like I said before to Viral, friends are there for each other, that's what we do."

It was obvious Viral needed some outlet for all that anger, and smashing things was a pretty good outlet. So was sparring, but he'd been struck enough and had no desire to end the day looking all black and blue. The building wasn't going to mind them laying into it too much he supposed, made it much more convenient for his face then. "You say that like it's the only way I relax, which I don't..." Takeshi said a bit defensively, dropping the sledgehammer he'd been handed, "I mean... I like to exercise too, or spar, or eat, or play around, you know... Other stuff." Not that breaking stuff like that wasn't a decent way of relieving stress; there were boulders nearby his home back on Earth he used to break whenever he needed to calm down, and there were likely still chunks strewn all over the ground. Letting Viral take the hammer he headed inside of the building, humming as he glanced around at the ruined interior. "Savage? Hey there's one hammer and two of us, what if we both didn't want to use it, would we both be savages?" Takeshi pointed out before heading for the stairs, "I'm gonna go break stuff up here, I'll toss it into the alley outside. Just uh... Shout if you need a hand or whatever."

It wasn't until they got about a block away that Yumi realized they were missing two, namely Takeshi and Viral. Her first though was perhaps they had gotten into another fight again, yet there was no sounds to suggest as much. When they got into arguments their voices alone could be hear plenty far away, never mind if fists started flying. "But take him where? Why would they-" Tensing as the loud bang echoed down the road Yumi's ears immediately tuned into what was happening, hearing another one a few seconds afterwards. Feeling Shu's hand leave her own she looked at him hiding with T'charrl, frowning before glancing back at June. "Watch them please, I'll be right back." Running back along the way they had come she began to fear they really were fighting, and just when things seemed to be getting better too. She was going to have to break it up, both Viral and Takeshi would be mad and neither Shu nor T'charrl would be able to have fun. Sliding around the corner on her feet Yumi expected to find someone throwing someone else around, instead furrowing her brow seeing some Uuonians sitting on the roadside, sharing a drink and laugh as the banging continued. Walking closer she looked at the source of the sound itself, eyebrows shooting up in surprise seeing Viral and Takeshi taking down and ruined building. Well... That was different.

Like Yumi, June was concerned those two might be fighting again. They certainly didn't look to get along too well and leaving them alone wasn't the best idea it seemed. If they were fighting then she wasn't going to be able to stop that, knowing she'd at best just get in the way of it. Instead then she did as asked and stayed with Shu and T'charrl, giving each a reassuring smile as she stood behind them. "I'm sure whatever is going on Yumi will take care of it," she assured them, placing a hand on each of their shoulders, "There's nothing to be afraid of, okay?"
"I can only use mine three times, that seems to be my limit right now. Three times, for about a total of five minutes. It's random too meaning it's not always the most reliable, but it works more often than not." She nodded at Owyn's comment of weapons, knowing Soren fell into that category. Tools of war so comically large you'd never think someone might wield one, yet here at Beacon it appeared to be the norm. For someone like her who carried about a simple sword it must pale in comparison to other weapons out there, many of which they had not seen yet. Sometimes she considered getting something more so she'd not be so reliant on her semblance, yet that would mean learning an entire new weapon; as they were only now entering Beacon Academy Ulyssa couldn't think of a worse time to reconsider her equipment.

Their intensive resource gathering was put on hold as a roar shook the trees around them, causing the few animals in the immediate region to scatter in response. Judging by the sounds of the roar it could be one of two types of Grimm, and Ulyssa doubted the second would be anywhere near the Emerald Forest. "Ursa... Large Grimm, powerful, very dangerous for us," she commented plainly, deliberating on whether they should go and assist their friends or not. It hadn't sounded like things were particularly bad though, and no gunfire meant that they weren't resorting to long range attacks. Either that or they couldn't, perhaps they were stuck in a close encounter with the hulking beast. What should they do? If they didn't go and investigate then they could lose their teammates, not only a massive setback but it would riddle her with guilt for life.

"This can wait, they may need our help," Ulyssa decided as she dropped what little timber she had. "Come on, we can't waste any time!" Reaching into her headband she pulled free a card and checked the face of it, a cloud forming over her head seeing what she had picked. A dust-based shield would be very nice during a fight, but unfortunately for everyone involved she was nowhere near the action. Cursing her fortune she tucked the card back before taking off in the direction of the roars, still quite fast in spite of having no assistance from her semblance.

-----

It was impressive really that he hadn't cut clean through the Ursa's limb. Then again he hadn't put his full strength into that either, shows what he got for pulling punches. Freeing his blade from the beast's body he moved away to get some space, preparing to rush in and finish severing the arm for good. Just as he'd pivoted his weapon and lowered himself to dash forward he was called out to by Lyra, looking back at her in surprise before nodding and turning himself around. He'd told her to let him handle this, but as long as she remained up in the trees he wouldn't need to worry about her well-being. Not wholly certain what to expect he waited for an explosion, instead puzzled when the area around them was suddenly basked in a bright glow, casting heavy shadows all around them from the epicenter.

"A flash arrow? Nice," Soren shouted before turning back, seeing the Ursa stumbling and swatting blindly at the air before it. This should do it, the beast was now blind and unable to fight him off, good. Lowering himself again he slammed his right leg behind him into the ground, burying it slightly before using the limb to kick off, racing across the ground in a blur. As one of the Ursa's claws swung out at him he ducked beneath it and pulled his sword forward, letting out a shout as he exerted himself and pulled the weapon along. There was some resistance when it met flesh, but giving it a hard pull and using his momentum his body visibly tensed up, his muscles bulging slightly as he forced the weapon through. In one clean motion his sword made a complete cut and tore the Ursa in two halves, its lower body standing as the top fell to the ground in a thud. Despite being cut in two halves the Grimm wasn't dead though and let out a muted roar, using its arms to pull itself up and towards Soren.

"Oh give it up already, you're through," the student mumbled, watching as the Ursa tried to pull itself closer and closer. Looking at it with a hint of disgust he reached a hand out suddenly and grabbed its face, and with a push forced it down onto its chest. After that his hair seemed to raise slightly and his eyes glow, followed shortly thereafter by the crackling of electricity. With one massive burst he released several hundred volts of power into the monster, causing it to gurgle and its skin sear almost immediately on contact. Electricity danced along the ground before dissipating into the air, and once the flow stopped entirely only a charred Ursa corpse remained. Soren's breathing was somewhat labored from the attack, but he remained unharmed from the fight.

"We'd better have something to show for all of this... I hate having to use that," Soren grumbled, wiping his face clean of sweat before collapsing his sword, placing it on the holster on his back. All this fighting was leaving him awfully hungry, he did hope they got a decent haul from those boars. Rubbing at his shoulder as he rejoined Lyra, the sound of branches bending and leaves crunching drew his attention off towards the trees. Another Grimm? Seeing Ulyssa burst out of the brush he let out a sigh, wondering why she was here now as well. "It's taken care of, we're fine. I'm assuming that's why you came running?"
"Sure you have! You've seen a whole lot of worlds, and you've helped us in fighting! Maybe things have been a little rocky, but that doesn't take away what you have done," Yumi said positively, not wanting T'charrl to think his journey so far had been for nothing. "And, well... Considering you put a stop to a war and you're now the first of your kind to travel I would imagine most people on your planet are beyond proud of you. Though I can't imagine anyone is more proud than your mom and dad." He'd come home a hero, there was no doubt about that. She could understand if he didn't want to go back immediately too though, they were his friends and they might not be able to visit him all that often. "I don't imagine Kaesstra is going to be in any trouble, you're right. Besides, if you're having fun then you should enjoy yourself more," Yumi said in agreement, smiling as she placed her hands behind her back, "Maybe tonight we can get in touch with them, if you want? There's nothing wrong with calling to say hi now and again. Might help you relax a little to talk to them."

Takeshi certainly didn't agree with that statement, but he was learning that arguing with Viral never got him anywhere. Offering instead a shrug he didn't say anything at first, letting the guy get out what he had to before changing the subject entirely. They needed something to do other than wander around, and what better than something to blow off some steam? Seeing a building the locals were currently demolishing, very slowly he might add, he thought it an awesome way to let them vent frustration or anger or whatever. "I mean if it's broken then why not? It can be fun, and it's a good way to relax sometimes," Takeshi said with a grin, stopping and looking over at the building again, "I won't use Ki, don't need it. We'll just punch the thing down, not like it's going to be that hard with it in shambles, right?"

Hopefully the others didn't mind too much if they took a quick little detour here. Crossing the road and waving Viral along with him Takeshi went over to the building he'd been inspecting, smiling at the locals as they gave him a curious look. "Hey, just uh... Figured you guys might want a hand taking this thing down, yeah? My friend and I can do it really fast if you want." And with minimal mess, probably. Everything would end up in a pile for sure and most of it would be contained, unless they started knocking things around by accident. Would be kind of lousy to damage a good building around it huh?

"You want to break building?" one of the Uuonians asked, blinking in confusion before looking at his co-workers. None of them seemed to have issue with that, so with a smile they shrugged and handed over their sledgehammer to Takeshi, the group walking past him without so much as a fuss. "Be our guest! If you take it down we'll clean, it's just so hard to break it safely. You and your friend are strong though, you'll make it easy!"

"Hell yeah we will, we'll have it done in no time," Takeshi grinned, giving a thumbs up before dropping the hammer and glancing up at the building. No need to use that thing, they could demolish perfectly fine with their bare hands. There were ladders here and there to get up to the second floor, and holes in the walls could be seen every couple of feet; given the fact he could fly he could handle the upper floor, Viral the lower one. Obviously if those people were to keep doing this it would take the better part of the day, never mind how long the clean up would last. Standing to the side he looked to Viral, gesturing to the building with one hand and a smirk. "Well? I say let's get this thing down the only way we know how, pummel it to dust. Want to take the first crack at it?"

So just where exactly should they go after all of this? Half of their group here had some kind of medical attention they should be getting, but Yumi didn't want to make this about any of that, not today. Today was reserved solely for their enjoying themselves and having a day off, she would see to it that it remained that way. "We'll have a lot of fun today T'charrl, just you watch. You and Shu will get to do whatever you want today and we can go wherever we want, there's nothing keeping us tied down!" Yumi said eagerly, giving each of her friends a smile as they walked along hand-in-hand. "And you'll even be able to do something Viral," she continued, glancing back and stopping in her tracks. Wait, where was Viral? Or Takeshi for that matter? Frowning in confusion she released her friends hands and furrowed her brow, not seeing them anywhere on the road for that matter. "Where did those two get off to now? Unbelievable..."
"I doubt that's true, I mean when have we ever actually talked?" Takeshi asked, smirking as he continued, "Before it's always been 'Takeshi you're an idiot, go away' or I've been 'I'm going to beat you and show I'm stronger!', you know? Not exactly getting down to talking about stuff we like. Heck, you said it yourself when I brought up fighting that you're not just that, or you made it seem that way. So there's gotta be more!" And if he was going to be a half decent friend to Viral, or anyone for that matter, he needed to get his head out of his rear and start listening more. He'd have a chance too, they were still going out as a group to find something more to do, giving them all plenty of time for a nice chat. Watching as Shu and Yumi took one of T'charrl's hands to help him walk along Takeshi cheekily did the same for Viral, recoiling slightly with a laugh when he was snapped at. "Okay, okay, it was a joke! Relax bud, I'm not holding your hand," the Saiyan said as he tucked his hands into his pockets, "You don't need help anyways, you're feeling way better than you were. Hell you could probably walk on your hands around the city by now! Not that I know why you would, but you probably could." That might actually be sort of fun, maybe he'd try that with Shu later, as some kind of training... Exercise... Thing.

"Depends on where we go Shu, we'll see when we get there," Yumi responded, looking back at Takeshi and narrowing her eyes at him, "And of course Takeshi knows T'charrl is still hurt. Even he isn't that daft, right Takeshi?" That looked to shut him up for the moment as his face reddened, she'd probably just called him out for forgetting already. Honestly he had the attention span of a newborn baby sometimes, take it out of his focus and he forgot it even existed. Letting out a sigh of disbelief she shook her head before giving T'charrl a smile, playfully tugging on his arm. "I bet your parents would be so proud of you right now, seeing what you've been doing. When we finally get to Kaesstra just think of all the stories you'll have to share with them!" Granted who knows when they would go back, it was kind of a trip even now and there may be other things they needed to do first. What's more Yumi wasn't even certain if T'charrl wanted to stay home or keep traveling with them, either of which was fine so long as it was what he wanted.

"I've been wondering T'charrl... When you learn how to control your power and everything, what do you plan to do? Are you staying with us or are you going home? Either is fine of course! I'm just curious, that's all." She didn't want T'charrl feeling like he needed to be forced into a decision one way or another, he should do what would make him happy. Yumi knew what it was like to be away from your parents for so long, to not see them in ages and wonder perhaps how they were doing. Both his mom and dad should be just fine, she reasoned, they were capable warriors and the war back home had technically ended. He had to be wondering how everyone was getting along after that. Nodding her head once at T'charrl's decision she gave him a reassuring smile, willing to support him whatever he decided. Together or not they would remain friends, her and the others, so where they were had little meaning.

Seriously though, where were they going? They had walked three blocks now without anything to grab their attention and Takeshi was beginning to grow impatient. Going for a simple walk might be nice if he wasn't prepared for a lot more today, anything more than this. Seeing Yumi and the others busy chatting away he let out a long sigh, glancing over at Viral before looking around them. "There's gotta be something we can do to pass the time, anything other than just this..." he muttered, stopping in his tracks as he looked down a side road. There was a building just around the corner that a few Uuonians were taking hammers to, a crane-like machine assisting them in dismantling the ruined structure. That gave him an idea, and with a grin he nudged Viral's arm and pointed to the building in question. "Hey... Wanna go help them break that thing? Could be fun!"
"Well... You know, I mean you're our friend and we don't know much about you," Takeshi explained, figuring it was obvious and didn't need much, "We've known each other for what, over a year now? And I figure friends should know a little about each other, that's all." Come to think of it just how much did they all know about one another? Since meeting they'd been traveling near nonstop, and any conversations they had were usually geared towards their journey. What did everyone have for hobbies? What did they dislike? Come to think of it he wasn't even entirely sure what Shu was a huge fan of save for fruit and playing. Realizing just how ignorant he was a cloud formed over Takeshi's head as he sulked, a guilty smile on his face. Looks like he had a hell of a lot of work to do.

There had to be something Viral would enjoy doing, at least one thing in this massive city. The games which the children played years past probably weren't going to cut it, and unfortunately for June that was all she had to work with. Not deterred and certain to make him happier however she remained steadfast, continuing to try and think of something to help him. "Oh, oh no I'm okay for now, honest. I was just trying to think of something to do is all," June said with a smile, waving her hands in a dismissive fashion, "I'm not really that hungry, I can wait until later." She'd prefer to spend time with these kids for now; considering her physical age and their ages though it was almost better to say they were friends rather than her being a parent. That was still terribly strange, being nearly the same age as your own child. Technically speaking they weren't, but if you looked at her and Vegeta for instance you'd assume they might be siblings, not mother and son. That revelation sent a slight chill of displeasure down June's spine.

"If we're not eating just yet then we have time to spare, which means we can find something to keep us busy!" Preferably something everyone would enjoy, albeit that would be no small task. Shu's and Viral's tastes were about as far apart as one could get, never mind everyone else involved. All Yumi knew was standing here twiddling their thumbs wasn't going to find them anything, best to get moving again and look around. Before she walked off though she went to T'charrl and offered a hand to him, figuring he might just need a hand walking considering he was still a little weak. "Let's take a look around town everyone, I'm sure if we look we can find something for us to do!" Some of the city was under repairs but the majority was still open and fine, surely if they looked hard enough they would stumble across something.

"Sure, I don't mind looking a bit, it's a nice day for wandering around," Takeshi agreed with a smirk, raising his arms up in a stretch before grinning at Viral, "We holding hands too? I mean we're friends after all, bonding and all that, you know?" Much as he wanted to keep a straight face he couldn't help himself, breaking into a small snickering fit before shaking his head. Even on the best day he sincerely doubted that would ever fly with Viral, not like he ever wanted it to either. Seeing Yumi heading on with T'charrl and June he started moving as well, but not before giving Shu's side a playful poke and waving him along. "Come on slow pokes, don't want to miss all the fun do we?"
Nymira throwing a fit over a horse relieving itself was awfully strange, it was like she'd never seen one do it before. Just how out of touch was she if she wasn't aware of something so normal? A small part of him almost wanted to put her out when they arrived at the next town, see how she did if she was left on her own. Mean? Maybe just a little, but he was curious to see how she'd fare. "Huh? You want to learn to use your Sight more?" Ethan repeated, smirking before giving Amuné's nose a playful tap, "Then open your eyes silly!" Chuckling to himself he tried to let the girl say her piece, having trouble stifling his giggles completely though. She was serious about this then, and it sounded like she was wanting to do so since it was something she shared with her father.

"Nothing wrong with that, I say go ahead and try it," Ethan encouraged, "You won't budge an inch, I've got you." While the Ydran did her piece he placed one arm around her to hold her steady, his free hand grasping the reins. They rode together in silence for a few brief moments, only the indistinct chatter of Nymira and Cecil behind them keeping him from zoning out entirely. At last when Amuné came back she seemed elated and had in fact made it work, albeit not in the way he'd expected. Before she had called out something about the future hadn't she? Yet now she was looking into the past, amazing.

"Sounds like when I trained with some of the Kinsgrove guard..." Ethan said thoughtfully, a smirk crossing his lips, "I used to get my butt handed to me by them all the time, they're all really good. I might be able to beat them now, but it'd still be a close match." What Kinsgrove lacked in political and military troubles it made up for with monsters; being so far out west it was a normal occurrence for the town's bells to sound and the guards called to action, swooping in to deal with whatever beast had stumbled out of the woods. It was that heroism and duty that had inspired him to train with them all those years ago, and it even still to this day dictated how he acted. Always ready to help, whatever it might be.

What a disgusting habit to relieve yourself wherever you went. The fact they were horses wasn't a valid excuse, they should be trained at least to get off the roads before doing such a thing. "Disgusting... You should know better..." Nymira scolded as she looked down at her horse. Having the animal whinny in response and shake her atop its back made her go silent, grasping her reins as firmly as could be. Damned animal was trying to make her fall off! Perhaps next leg of the journey she would make Cecil handle the horse and she could ride in the cart. It was only fitting, he was the one acting as her attendant, not the other way around. "The horse relieved itself and it smelled foul, you're lucky you didn't have to smell it," the Dimuran repeated curtly, hating to have to repeat herself. Hearing Amuné shout abruptly made her whip her head forward as though expecting another enemy, puzzled to find the road before them empty. Was that child having another one of her visions then? Ethan didn't seem bothered by it, so she'd not put too much concern into the matter.

"I've been thinking about how we all met, and what the chances are of you three crossing my path when you did," Nymira began, her eyes gazing off to the forests beyond the fields absentmindedly, "Either it was the will of Ralthor or the work of Kedos that brought us together, which if it was ordained by the Saints than far be it from me to judge. Still though... A child, a buffoon and a Machina, not the escort I would have imagined." Had she gotten someone like that old Muran for instance, powerful and imposing, she felt her journey would have been immeasurably easier.

"Don't mistake this for reluctance, I... Appreciate your accepting me, I simply don't know what to make of this still." She was in a new world, surrounded by new people, fighting with Magi for reasons unknown to her. She was supposed to be here on purely delegate means and striving to form connections, not sever them through combat. The fact she'd dealt with both a criminal organization and two aggressive Magi since arriving hardly filled her with enthusiasm for the road ahead.

As it happened the road ahead wasn't terribly long to their destination. Not even an hour had passed by when the next town had come into view, nestled along the very same river their encounter from earlier had taken place. From afar it was near impossible to make out just what it looked like, though just the silhouette alone suggested something far larger than even Galloway. "That must be... East Orosi... I think..." Right? Looking over Amuné's shoulder at the map he tried to follow their route taken thus far, tracing the river with his finger from Galloway onward. Indeed if they had taken this road then they would be approaching Orosi soon, the first of several towns they would no doubt be stopping at. Good, they all desperately needed a change of clothes and probably some feed for the horses, unless they'd had a chance to graze earlier. "We're nearly there, just a bit longer! How're you two holding up back there?"

"Oh wonderfully. I can't feel my rear, my back is stiff and my hands are cramping from holding these damned reins," Nymira commented, scowling as she shifted her weight to try and relieve her aches. Finding it of no use she let out a sigh and blew some bangs from her eyes, freeing one hand to pull her hood back up in hopes of containing her hair better. "Seems like a good sized town, perhaps there's something to be gained here. I'd like one of you to accompany me to the chieftain's home when we arrive."

"Uh, sure! But he's probably a mayor, not a chieftain," Ethan called back, grinning in amusement, "Hey, just saying. Chieftains are more for clans or tribes right? Well this place is massive, not exactly a single clan."
I mean the general populace still use Demacite, it just happens our cast has been Magi-centric, so no need for them :p
Everything from their camp was miraculously still there after that turmoil, that was good. It was however soaked in mud and water and required extensive cleaning unless they wished to sleep in a sodden tent for a few nights. To that end they removed whatever was wet from their containers and let them rest exposed in the back of the cart, as well as draping the cloth for the tent over the side of the cart itself. Using some water from the river they managed to clean off their vehicle as well, and with that said and done it was just a matter of rounding the horses up to move. Both animals were unharmed despite all that had gone on, and while somewhat on edge when Ethan approached they quickly settled down and allowed themselves to be led off. While the larger of the two was fastened to the cart, Jorvind was allowed to stand by until Ethan and Amuné were prepared to ride again. All said and done it took just under an hour to prepare and round up their belongings, but after that they were back up on the road and ready to move again.

"I guess it's pretty obvious we should go to the next town now, see if we can find any information," Ethan thought aloud, giving Jorvind's reins a gentle tug to spur him forward. They had Amuné's parents to look for, Cecil's makers, his own friend and now they were acting as some sort of bodyguard to a Dimuran princess, quite a bit of work lay ahead of them. When he'd gone looking for someone to travel with he hadn't expected to take on a load of work in the process, though now he supposed it was only fair; if he was going to be getting help with his little mission he should help someone else, that was a fair trade off. Smiling down at Amuné for a moment he glanced back to see how Nymira and Cecil were getting on, furrowing his brow in confusion at the Dimuran's red face. Was she hot or something? "Er... Everything alright back there Nymira?" Ethan called, "Need help with anything?"

What a disgusting, unsanitary animal. She understood that every living thing had to do that sometime, but why now? Why when she was riding it? Oh she hoped it missed the cart, there was no way she was cleaning that off of it. Hearing Ethan's voice calling to her she quickly looked up at him and nodded, making a face of disgust as she caught wiff of what was bothering her. "I am fine, our horse however has... Relieved himself... And it smells foul," she commented, her grimace turning to a scowl as Ethan started roaring with laughter, "That is not funny! It is disgusting!"

"It's natural, and it's going to happen. No use in getting bent out of shape over it," Ethan chuckled, looking to Jorvind before reaching down and stroking their horse's mane. "If our friend here had to do... That, then it would be fine. Horses do it all the time, you should just be glad we're not in a stable. It's worse when they sit there and keep going in the same spot."

Nymira grimaced again at that thought, imagining a proverbial mountain of defecation. Horses were very rare where she was from, and the few they had roamed freely and were never corralled like these two were. Sure, she knew they had to do this business, she wasn't a complete simpleton, but why while she was riding on the blasted thing? On the bright side since they were moving they distanced themselves from the foulness, and soon the smell was gone. "You're fortunate to not have a nose, Cecil, otherwise I shudder to think how disgusting it would be back there..."

Ethan was suffering a case of the giggles now because of Nymira, trying to stifle them with his hand until he settled down. Horse poop wasn't even a bad thing really, it made excellent manure and could help you grow your crops. He knew plenty of people in kinsgrove who even saved it for such a purpose, no sense in letting it go to waste. Amuné could probably sympathize, she had come from a small village too hadn't she? It was something he missed since leaving home, the simplicity and down-to-earth outlook that those in the smaller settlements seemed to share. Since arriving in these new towns, even the "small" ones, he noticed a lot of people no longer lived the way he did, finding it strange how drastically different people could be despite being so close. How were those in the big cities going to compare, he wondered?
Welcome strange one! Worry not, join a few RPs and someone is bound to re-take your roleplay virginity!
For a second there Takeshi thought he was actually getting it right as Viral seemed to consider what he was saying. When he only turned out confused though the Saiyan groaned inwardly, at an utter loss for how to word this any longer. He was frustrated with himself for not being able to word it correctly despite knowing exactly how he felt; Viral was his friend, he didn't have the words to explain why that was, but that's how it is. Finally Yumi tried to come to his rescue and offer her own explanation to what friendship was, and while it seemed clearer to Viral he was still confused. They could try this again later, he wasn't so sure he had the patience to keep going with this stuff. Letting out a sigh he folded his hands behind his head and decided to drop it entirely, smirking slightly amused when Viral complained about the conversation they had been having. "It's not pointless, makes us closer as friends don't you think? I mean you talk with someone and you know them a bit better, you know? We've never really talked about this sort of stuff, so that's the point I guess."

"We're definitely not trying to make you go soft, we know that won't work." Yumi joked lightly, "I think that's that for now though, we're out here to enjoy the day, not punch each other and get into debates." Perhaps later though she'd try to get Viral aside and talk to him about it, see what he thought. She couldn't vouch for Takeshi's friendship per say but she knew her own to be genuine, and likely Shu's as well. If more people came forward, she reasoned, and shared the same feelings then maybe their friend would be a little more receptive. Or he'd be overwhelmed, who can say for certain? "So... Now that we're done with that, what do we do now? Anyone have any ideas?" Yumi asked thoughtfully as she looked to the rest of their group, everyone else having been awfully silent for most of that. Turning to Shu and T'charrl in particular she gave them inquisitive looks, figuring they might as well let these two make a decision now. Of course if they didn't have anything in mind... "Or Viral, you have any ideas," she added, glancing over her shoulder just to be sure.
