"Yeah, let's do this." Vegeta agreed, nodding his head.

Stepping around T'charrl to give him access to Shu a bit easier. Looking at the Kaesstrians curiously he frowned, not quite certain where he was supposed to put his hand. Eventually deciding on the orb on his left shoulder he placed his palm on the cool gem, Almost as soon as his skin touched the protrusion he felt his Ki being drawn out involuntarily, like he was gathering for an attack. The flow wasn't terribly strong, yet it was enough to be noticed. It continued on for just over a minute, and it slowly began to feel like a noticeable pull on his reserves by that point. Not a tremendously exhausting experience by the time it was over he had plenty of Ki still, only pulling his hand off when he saw that the process was over. Curiously he drew his hand back, looking down at his palm. He'd seen healing before to be sure, but this was the first time it was ever done in such a way. It was like T'charrl used their energy as a conduit for his power. If it was that helpful then Vegeta was more than happy to lend his strength when needed.

"Wow... That's some power!" Kabocha exclaimed, smiling wide. "Seriously... Both of them are totally fine now, that's awesome! Never seen anyone that had that kind of ability before!" There had been plenty of alien races that they had encountered in their time, but none that he knew of that could mend wounds like that. They should bring the Prince around with them, it'd be wonderful to have a healer in their group. Considering how well Saiyans healed they could fight til they dropped and get right back up, stronger than ever. As if picking up on this line of thought Kabocha felt a hand smack the back of his head, wincing and glancing back at Takeshi with a glare.

Takeshi gave the other boy a warning glance before shaking his head, pushing himself to his feet. He'd thought the same thing too admittedly, but realized rather quickly it was a selfish and unfair thing to ask of T'charrl. The kid wasn't some tool for them to use, he was as every much his own person as they were. If he should offer to help then all the more for it, but otherwise he never wanted to put the Kaesstrian on the spot. On his feet he went right over to Shu's side, though first making a stop at Viral to check on the Beastman. He was laid out in exhaustion, but the wound on his stomach was very clearly healed. Pleased the Saiyan reached down, giving his friend's shoulder a gentle pat and smiling warmly. It was nice to see him all patched up, his wound had been very troubling. Plus now maybe they could begin the road to recovery at last, something that was long overdue for the poor guy. It wasn't just Yumi and Vegeta that wanted Viral back on his feet, after all.

"You seem to be doing a bit better," Takeshi remarked, smiling as he knelt down by Shu. His brother looked to be moving around a bit, and perhaps while not totally healed he was definitely not stuck against the ground now. He gave his brother's hair another gentle ruffle, this one a little more earnest than the one before now that he could take it. Glancing over aty the Prince he smiled happily, reaching out and giving the Prince a pat on his arm. "Thanks a ton, really. We owe you big time for all of this."

"So how about you feed my son a decent meal?" Eslaria spoke up, putting her hands on her hips. "The way I see it he just helped all three of you heal in record time, and he's still going to be saving other people on your behalf. I think the very least that can be done for him is to give him the proper nutrition he needs."

Yumi certainly agreed with that, it seemed fair to her. After all T'charrl was saving both them and the other Saiyans a great deal of trouble, and heck, probably lives. Not to mention all that he had just spared his own people from by putting an end to this war. For everything he was giving he deserved a lot more than just a hot meal really, but it was a good start.

"We'll give him all the food he can eat and then some!" Yumi declared, grinning as she clenched a fist and tossed it in the air. "We'll make whatever he wants, and as much of it as he can possibly eat! We'll make a huge feast before we go away, it'll be great!" She paused for a second, smiling as she reached down and grabbed Vegeta's hand, yanking him to her side and slinging her arm around his shoulders. "And he's going to help me do it!"
Okay, maybe eating was a bad idea still. Viral's tasting blood was probably due to his wound, but regardless that was definitely an appetite killer. Worst case scenario if he couldn't handle eating they might have to go about it intravenously. Like it or not he needed nutrition just like anyone else, and Vegeta was losing ideas when it came to getting him to eat. For now they'd let it be, if only since he didn't appear to be collapsing from hunger pains just yet. He wasn't really sure just how long the Beastman could go without food, and frankly couldn't care to find out. With the all the issues facing Viral now the last thing he needed was starvation. It was a relief to get him outside where could be helped, though Viral clearly wasn't having a good time of it being on his feet. As soon as they got close enough to T'charrl then the Saiyan gestured for him to be sat down, keeping at his side and leaving a hand on his back, right between his shoulders to keep him sat upright.

Yumi wasn't quite certain what she was getting herself into, only that she'd be giving up energy. Really it seemed like a harmless process enough, and goodness knows she hadn't used any of her own energy for quite some time now. Smiling politely as she kept her hands outstretched she began to watch Viral as the Prince began to heal him, scarcely paying attention to what was going on with herself. Even with her focus elsewhere she could definitely tell her energy was being sapped, at a moderate pace too. It was odd, she could feel her Ki racing down her arms and out her fingertips, almost like it was draining out. While initially there wasn't anything unusual her body began to react a bit oddly to having its strength drained, namely becoming a little tingly and tired. She kept her hands still though until the recovery process was done, right up until T'charrl took his own hands back. Blinking in surprise she looked down at her hands, flexing them before smiling sheepishly. Okay, so it had drained a little more power than she had expected, though still not too much. She'd be fine in no time, especially after a good meal.

Takeshi watched curiously as Viral was healed, intrigued to see the process from another perspective. He was familiar with the way Dende did his own healing, Just like with the Namekian he could see the glowing energy at T'charrl's palms, it giving off faint sparks as it did its magic. It only took a few short moments, yet once done there was no visible mark left on the Beastman that would hint at his being skewered. Not even a scar, which considering he had plenty already was probably a nice change. That was one heck of an ability to have, and it was strange that he just happened to gain it all of a sudden, convenient too. Leaning back a little bit he rested his elbows on the steps, yawning softly before looking up at Kai, smiling faintly.

"Not that tired really. But he took a fair amount of my energy, and I only had a little bit to begin with. So my body just feels a little spent right now, that's all." It was really just feeling sluggish, and to a bothersome degree at that. Not quite enough to be exhaustion, but certainly enough to make him want to take a breather. "Plus, you get poisoned then go fly around for a bit. I'd love to see how you fare."

Vegeta was hesitant to move his hand from Viral's back just yet, knowing he was still low on blood. Now that the wound was closed he'd begin to regain the cells at a far quicker rate, and even faster if his healing could now focus solely on that. Until he got a high enough blood count though he'd be as every bit as weak as he was with the hole still in his gut. That had to infuriate the man to no end, still being incapacitated even when he was healed. Well, at least the wound was taken care of, that was definitely a start. At the sound of the door opening he glanced over his shoulder, a little surprised to see the twins carrying Shu outside, no doubt to be seen to as well. They could just have easily come inside, he wasn't quite sure why they risked moving him. Now that he was here though they might as well get to it.

"Awesome... Thank you for that," Vegeta said, smiling up at T'charrl. "If you're ready to help Shu, I guess we'll do him too. I'll give you the energy this time around, if it's all the same to you."
"If I can convince you to have some food then that will help," Yumi offered hopefully, giving Viral a small smile. "The more you've got in you the faster your body will recover. Even if it's just a tiny bit, anything will help you heal quicker." She was rather proud at knowing that much, hardly being practiced in medicine. Really the only reason she was aware of that much was from her own experiences donating blood. You were always supposed to eat after doing so, to help your body... Or something like that. Whatever the reason was she knew it'd help, and it was all the more reason to try and make Viral have some food finally.

"Oh... But I'm getting there my dear. I'm not a hatchling anymore, that's for sure," Eslaria mused, smiling ruefully. "Still, it doesn't mean I can't do my job. Just that I'm not exactly a young woman anymore. I like to think I've got my best years ahead of me still. And you don't necessarily need to be stronger. You just need control, and confidence in yourself. If you learn to control your powers then you'll be all the better for it. Just look what you had done to Takeshi with them, you can help people T'charrl. If you learn to use them for reasons like that then I have no doubt people are going to love you all the more for it." Plenty of their people would only take him at face value, she was sure of it. After all he was a moderately imposing figure now, and it was easy to be taken aback by him. Once they saw how gentle he could be though they'd forget their uncertainties. "We'll find a way to get you some control, don't worry. There just has to be a way."

As Yumi stepped outside her eyes immediately found T'charrl, standing with his mother in the yard. It was awfully hard not to spot him, he was now pretty darn big, bigger than his father even. Size aside though he really wasn't too different, not as far as she was concerned. Sure he looked different and all, but there was enough recognizable features to tell it was him. That, and the way he behaved just screamed it was the same kid as before. It was a curious look to be certain, what with all of those peculiar orbs on him and his elongated features. Intimidating? No. Just different. Sensing how worked up he was over his new look she thought it might be helpful to make a small joke to try and show she wasn't afraid. She'd hoped to alleviate his uneasiness, yet he flinched when she laughed and she was left worrying he might think she was laughing at him instead. Definitely not what she wanted. Keeping her mouth shut then she eased Viral down into a sitting position, standing by with a small smile in case she was needed at all.

"You're okay though... Right?" Yumi asked worriedly, looking over at T'charrl. She liked him, he was nice, and the last thing she wanted was for him to be in any sort of discomfort because of them. Takeshi hadn't said anything about it causing the Prince any pain, only that it required energy to do.

"Uh... If you need energy I've got plenty to spare. More than enough to help get Viral back on his feet." Yumi smiled confidently, rolling up each of her sleeves before holding out her hands for T'charrl. "I've got no clue how this works, so feel free to take the lead. Take what you feel you'll need to heal him up, don't worry about me. I'm tougher than I look."

Realistically what could they give the son of a Queen as payment? There wasn't a whole lot in the way of valuables on their ship, unless they might be interested in some foreign goods. A few pieces of food or a couple of trinkets hardly seemed like equivalent exchange, if anything they'd be ripping off the Prince. The only other alternative then was to hang around so he had friends with him, but that wouldn't work either. There was things to do still, they couldn't well stay on Kaesstra indefinitely, not now. They definitely had to give something in turn, but what? Kai brought up an idea then, and a pretty solid one at that.

"Help him control his powers huh...?" Takeshi mused, scratching at his head. "Yeah, that could definitely work, especially if he's having that much trouble with it. And it would be a big problem if father got a hold of him, even more if he managed to get one of those damn collars onto him."

Maybe their best bet was to take T'charrl with them. That way he wasn't lonely, Shu would have someone else to keep him company, and the Prince would be safe from their father or anyone on Kaesstra that might want to use him for their own gain. This was all provided that the Queen was okay with him going off the planet, something that apparently none of their kind had done before. Realistically they couldn't give any sort of timeline when her son would be back, and that could be a deal breaker right there. Giving the back door a push to get it open Takeshi stood off to the side, letting everyone else out before following suit. He'd take a seat on the steps, exhaling tiredly as he took a minute to catch his breath. His stomach might be healed but his legs and shoulder were still just getting there, and all this moving around was taking up what little energy he still had left. Maybe once everyone was better he could take a little nap.
Vegeta was more than happy to help Viral, but he opted to let the Beastman try for himself, knowing how his pride went. Rather quickly though his friend realized he needed a hand, to which both the Saiyan and Yumi readily lent him. Each of them slung one of the man's arms over their shoulders, trying not to just pick him up but instead relieve any pressure on his midsection so that he could for the most part walk. In just a minute, if what Takeshi was saying was true, Viral wouldn't need their help to get up and about. That definitely had to be a relief on his mind, it certainly was on theirs.

"I just thought I'd offer, rather than seem like I'm ordering you to do something," Vegeta replied defensively. "Like I said before, I don't want you to think of me as a master or anything, and that means you're not taking orders from me. If we ask you to do anything it's a suggestion or a request, not a demand. Understand?"

Rather than act aghast at her son's words Eslaria found herself laughing. It was more of a suppressed giggle, but enough to make her shake a bit as she continued to stroke T'charrl's head comfortingly. "My darling, you don't want to eat me. I'm old and not very tender any more I'm afraid, you'd be hard pressed to make a meal out of me," she joked lightly, bringing her hand down to pat his cheek. "I saw the look, believe me, but I know my little Prince. He'd never harm anyone without just cause, no matter what. That... Creature that you turned into? It's not as strong as you think it is. I've raised my boy well enough that he should know he can conquer anything if he puts his mind to it, and that includes that new side to you." Smiling tenderly she gave his cheek another gentle patting before grabbing his arms, easing them off of her person carefully. "It's not unlike being royalty, my son. With power comes a necessity for control. All you need is to find how to control that power, and it'll never frighten you again."

With slow, deliberate steps Yumi and Vegeta made their way out to the back door. They passed by Katas coming in on their way out, not quite sure what he was up to coming inside. Garesh and Katas had moved the General not too long ago to a tree on the edge of the yard, just to keep him out of view better. Just as well, it was a little uncomfortable knowing that man was sitting right on the other side of the door the whole time. Carefully using his foot to push the door open the Saiyan twisted himself sideways to get outside, leading Viral out gently in the process. He saw T'charrl there standing in the yard with his mother, only staring for a brief moment before getting to the task at hand. Definitely different, but not terribly abnormal. He'd seen stranger things on Earth alone, that was nothing. Indeed it was really not an issue for them seeing changes like that, it was almost a common occurrence in their group between Shu and Viral.

"Uh... T'charrl...?" Yumi quipped, stopping in step with Vegeta as he did so. "We brought Viral out... And Takeshi said you might be able to give him some help. If we're not imposing, I'm sure he'd definitely appreciate it too." Agreeing or not they opted to get the Beastman off of his feet, easing him into a sitting position back on the ground. Yumi remained standing over him, keeping a hopeful glance on the Prince as Vegeta helped support their friend. "Also... I'm glad you're okay. When they said you ran off somewhere I thought something really bad happened," she explained, putting on a small smile and giggling softly. "But you just got a growth spurt silly!"

"T'charrl can use our energy to heal us... I think. It's complicated, but it works, I promise." Takeshi smiled, stepping back so that the twins could get to Shu. "To be honest I don't understand it either, all I know is he can make it happen. And I'm guessing you're tired of lying around like that, so we'd better get you over there to get patched up."

Taking pause for a moment he looked over at the twins, watching them almost methodically lift Shu up, grateful for their carefulness. He wasn't paralyzed, but that didn't mean there was no chance if he was moved too harshly. His squad was taking great care in preventing any further damage, making sure that Shu scarcely shifted at all in their grasp.

"His mother got him back really, all I did was get in the way," Takeshi admitted, smirking as he itched the side of his nose. "He's definitely full of surprises, I'll give him that. As if we didn't owe him big time enough already, now he's going to be mending everyone's wounds. How the heck are we going to pay this back...?"
"Really...? T'charrl can heal people?" Vegeta asked, a bit deflated. Letting out a soft sigh his shoulders slumped, smiling faintly as he looked at Viral. "Well... My methods take a while anyways, so you might as well go for it. Better than having to wait to heal."

Takeshi smiled cheerfully enough, glad that he was able to help a bit. There was earnest surprise on his part to, surprise that Viral had listened to him. In his elation for helping there was a hint of triumph too at finally having gotten the Beastman to agree with something. Albeit, one would have to be utterly insane to turn down having their wounds healed, and none of them were that far gone. With the Prince's new found power both his brother and friend would be back on their feet in no time and ready to go. Words couldn't express his gratitude towards the Kaesstrian enough, they'd certainly find a means of paying him back for all of his help.

"Honestly...? He just kind of came up to me and... Did it..." Takeshi answered, shrugging his one good shoulder. "It feels weird when he does it, but you saw my stomach, good as new. Not just the skin, the muscle and everything is healed too. So even if you've got something internal you're going to be just fine when he's through with you." Nodding his head cheerfully he turned to leave the room, pausing as he threw a somewhat sheepish smile over his shoulder at the others. "Oh... And he kind of needs energy to do it... And since he's running a little low... You're going to have to give him some to use guys!"

"Hey, that's not fair!" Yumi shouted, watching as the Saiyan slipped out of the room with a laugh. Sneaky little jerk, pulling one over them like that. Not that she terribly minded giving up some energy, but it was the way he told them that annoyed her. Trying to pull a fast one almost, or avoid being slapped more likely. Still, they now had a means of helping Viral, physically at least.

"We'll definitely go with this then, and I'll give up some of my energy." Vegeta remarked, smiling down at Viral. "After all I'm determined to heal you, and in this case I'm doing it inadvertently. It'll have to be good enough for me ego for the time being." Now came the matter of moving the Beastman, something that may prove to be quite a bit of trouble if not done carefully. His wounds had begun to heal and were covered, sure, but agitation might reopen them. "How do you want to do this? Think you can settle for us carrying you out, or do you want to walk? We just need to be mindful of your injuries."

Eslaria looked back at her son curiously as he hid against her, wondering why he was so utterly worried. Even if he had changed now they were drastically different to T'charrl's friends upon their arrival, and they hadn't reacted unfavorably then. That wasn't bound to change now that he'd transformed a little, certainly not to those who he considered friends. Nonetheless she indulged his need for comfort, wrapping her arms as far around him as she could and giving his back a gentle rubbing. A gentle giant, the Prince. Even if he grew large he was still as kind-hearted and timid as ever, and to her that was endearing. It was also a reason she had so readily asked him to lead the new government when the time came, she knew he'd never become corrupted by power like so many before him.

"Even now... You still come to your mother for protection," Eslaria teased gently, lifting a claw to stroke T'charrl's fur on the top of his head. "I still plan on calling you little Prince young man, no matter how large you may grow. I hope that doesn't bother you too much."

Satisfied that Viral was going to be taken care of Takeshi made it a point to then go to see to his brother. The squad was still gathered in the room with Shu when he got there, just reaching the end of a conversation by the sounds of it. Smiling as he placed his sword down against the wall he eased past a surprised Kabocha, going directly to the couch and to his sibling's side. He was still laid out as stiff as could be, but in a matter of moments he'd be springing around again like the little monkey he was, and that thrilled the older boy to no end. Leaning over Shu so he could be seen Takeshi lightly placed a hand on top of his head, ruffling his hair carefully to not shift him about too much.

"Guess what buddy? We've got someone who can help heal you. You're going to be moving about again in no time!" Looking over his shoulder then he passed hopeful glances around his squad, silently opting for one of them to lend him a hand with moving the crippled boy.
Both Eslaria and Takeshi were hopeful that T'charrl was going inside. He needed to accept that he wasn't being labelled as a freak, even if he was different now. Really, it was likely a mother's love keeping the Queen from shunning her son, but in the Saiyan's case this was hardly irregular. So many people transformed nowadays it was getting old, so seeing this didn't phase him too much, save for the initial surprise. There was a bit of lamenting when the Prince stopped himself at the door, refusing to go on any further under his own volition. They'd not press him into doing it, though the sooner he became comfortable around everyone the better.

"Hey... Don't sweat it T'charrl, it's okay." Takeshi said, smiling as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Just wait out here with your mother, okay? I'll go let everyone know you're okay. Just don't be too shocked if people come out. I'll let them know you're nervous, they ought to respect that and not all rush out."

Finding another use for his sword, as a walking stick of sorts, Takeshi went right up to the back door. Sending one last glance back at the Kaesstrians he opened it right on up, stepping back inside. He wanted to be of help, but when it came to consoling and calming down T'charrl there likely wasn't anyone better than Her Majesty to do it. He was just a messenger of sorts for now, and the lone fact he was being of use and not lied up somewhere was just fine by him. Now then, there were two people that really needed some help, yet he wasn't sure who to go to first. Standing in the hall as he was he could hear conversations being carried out, everyone sounded like they were busy. He hated to barge in when he still felt like he was being a bit scrutinized for his failure, not wanting to give anyone more reason to hate him. Hopefully this idea of theirs would get him in a better light, he mused selfishly. Takeshi didn't want to look at it as a gain for himself, but when he was certain everyone was blaming him he felt like this fix was needed.

"Viral... If anyone takes a continuous beating, be it Saiyan, Beastman, Human, they're going to take a long time to recover." Vegeta said plainly, sighing as he placed his hands on his hips. "The only reason you haven't recovered yet is because you haven't really been able to. All we have to do is get you settled somewhere nice, somewhere that you're not going to get tossed into a fight again. Then, when you've healed, we can test how much of your strength has come back. I mean... It's not like we're trying to keep you away from fighting, we know how much you like it. But realistically everyone has to take a breather once in a while." Cringing a bit on the flying comment Vegeta looked down at his feet, frowning as he shifted his weight about. He didn't have any response to that, though thankfully Yumi did.

"Shu can't fly either, and he doesn't hold us back. He used that cloud back on Earth, didn't he? So maybe we should just find you something to use!" Yumi suggested, smiling hopefully. "There's no shame in not being able to fly, no one can do everything. What if we found you something neat to use like... A little craft? A tiny ship or something, like on of Vegeta's cars from back home! Or..."

"What about a hover board?" Takeshi suggested from the doorway. Smiling apologetically for butting in he looked at Viral on the table, giving a faint wave as he leaned against the door frame. "What? I saw ads for them all over the place when we were waiting for the tournament to start, never thought of anything until now. I bet they can go pretty fast, and it'd be easier to move around than a car, wouldn't it?"

Vegeta nodded his head a tad, thinking that idea was fairly sound. The boards weren't as fast as they were flying, but darn close. A set of goggles and Viral would be good to go, and capable of keeping up with them over any terrain, ocean included. If they found a means to make it work like he did, solar powered, then it'd never have to worry about losing power either, he'd be all set. "That could work... Though that means having to get back to Earth. Which, as of right now, is nearly impossible." Sighing softly at that he scratched his head, giving Takeshi a curious look. "Need something? Should you be moving around with your wounds?"

"T'charrl fixed me up! Well, kind of." Grabbing the hem of his shirt he lifted it up, revealing the closed wound that used to be right to the side of his navel. "I figured, if you two are willing to lend a hand, we can get Viral and Shu all healed up. Of course, only if you're up for it, Viral. Though I don't see why you wouldn't be."
"Wait wait... You might be onto something there Shu..." Kabocha said, smiling as he cupped his chin in thought. "Now... There were at least a dozen scientists that I know of that were working with you, according to what my father knew. Still, I doubt he knew the whole story either, only bits and pieces. If we can find one of those scientists though, any one of them will do, we can get answers."

Like Shu said too though, it wasn't going to happen any time soon. There was still the matter of getting their parents to safety, that was first and foremost. Then the little issue of Shu, Viral and Takeshi all being injured, they couldn't well go gallivanting about when people were in that kind of state. Getting those three seen to would come immediately after their parents, and then they'd have to figure out a way to locate one of the scientists. While most of them were bound to be still on Kortal it was a safe bet a few had been sent abroad for other experiments. All they needed to do was find some way for them to figure out who was involved, and then track that person down. Much easier said than done, especially considering how far spanning the empire was. The scientist could be next door or a hundred light years off, who knows. Their pods were most definitely not rated for that kind of travel, at least not with the amount of people there was going to be. Assuming that the others had a ship to get here they'd have to hope that would suit their needs, otherwise they would have to get creative.

"Relax... Relax T'charrl, no one is calling you a monster," Takeshi said gently, waving a hand to dismiss the thought. "If you don't want to take mine then fine, don't. But if you can use our energy to heal everyone then I doubt there's going to be a shortage on offers. Unless it causes you pain to do it I'm just putting the request out there, because I sure know Shu and Viral need a hand too."

He didn't know what on earth the kid felt he had to redeem himself for. Unless he had managed to hurt someone during their fight with the General he was innocent, and whatever blame he had was self-wrought. Takeshi was all too familiar with self doubt and blame, still going through a tiff of it himself. He had actually done something wrong, killing men in spite of Shu's rather firm stance against it. That deserved to be critiqued, not whatever T'charrl was going on about. If the Prince felt he had to do this in order to make himself feel better then who was he to stop him? No doubt somewhere down the road Takeshi would feel the same way and end up adamant about working off his guilt. In a way, he mused, they were alike in that regard. Returning his focus to their flight path he was glad to see the home coming into view steadily, the trees beginning to thin as a result. The Saiyan could almost feel his helper tense up at the sight of the building, like he was expecting something to happen. Wanting to say something to help out he kept his trap shut, instead opting to let the Queen talk as she gestured for him to stay silent.

"No one is going to blame you for anything T'charrl, and you have no reason to redeem yourself. You've done nothing wrong, and everyone knows that." Eslaria landed beside her son as they touched down on the lawn, smiling up at him tenderly as she lifted a hand, stroking his cheek again. "Don't worry so much, it's bad for you. These people are your friends and loved ones, they'll accept you no matter what. I won't lie and say they won't be surprised, but surprise is not bad." Shifting her gaze onto Takeshi her smile melted away, adopting her familiar hard expression as she gestured to him with a claw. "Don't you tell anyone about this, I don't need Garesh knowing I was babying my son, understood?"

Takeshi nodded his head frantically, complying with the scary woman's demands without question. Certainly in his state the last thing he wanted was to be walloped over the head, he didn't need another injury. Heeding T'charrl's question the Saiyan carefully adjusted his weight on his feet as he was placed down, testing his own balance before smiling slightly and giving a nod.

"I'll survive, thanks. I can take it from here."

"T'charrl?" Eslaria asked, vying for her son's attention again as she tapped her shoulder. "How do you want to do this? I can ask everyone out here, or we can go inside. You can't avoid them forever little Prince, and the sooner you see them the sooner your worries can be dismissed."

Vegeta loathed being reminded of his incompetence in some areas, it drove him nuts. For all of his formal education and apprenticeship under his parent's work there really wasn't a lot of excuse for not knowing something, yet it came up fairly often. Were he not so uptight about his own ability sometimes he might not care as much, but it drove him mad. Especially in a case like this where a friend could benefit from his help, and yet he remained useless to them. To care so much and be powerless was just beyond infuriating, perhaps near as much as what Viral felt being laid up constantly. Not that he could know how the Beastman felt, since if they did then the issues would be a thing of the past by now. Never quite knowing what to say he listened instead as Yumi offered words of reassurance, smiling in agreement with them. Viral had definitely been the strongest among them, even without that deviant form of his. A series of losses and drawbacks had set him back a fair bit, but both of them were confident that once back on his feet he'd reclaim his spot, or at the very least shorten the gap. The point of the matter was he was strong, whether he knew it or not, and it was just a matter of making him realize it.

"Viral... The only time you won't be able to be a strong warrior is when you're dead." Vegeta remarked, smiling sadly. Stepping off a little ways he took a seat on the edge of the table by his friend's legs, putting his hands out to the sides to stabilize himself. "Look... What you don't know is that you're literally the strongest out of us. The way you work, your body... It's designed to adapt to the challenges you face, and that will never change. If it wasn't for the fact that the Saiyans threw you off so much I know you'd be as every bit as powerful as the boys, or stronger even. The way my father designed you wasn't to be the most powerful, not initially. You can grow in strength, a lot like us Saiyans can, or even humans," he added, looking to Yumi briefly. "My point is this. Yeah, you're down now. And even once you heal it'll be a bit to work your strength back up. But you've got as much natural talent for power as any of us do, probably even more so. As cheesy as this sounds, the biggest thing holding you back now is not believing in yourself. You're lacking confidence, and you can't fully use your strength when your heart isn't in it."

"See? You can be strong again. Really, really strong. All you've got to do is let us help you along the way. We don't think you can't do it on your own, we're just here to offer little pushes along the way, that's all." Yumi smiled cheerfully as she leaned forward, taking up one of Viral's paws in her hands again and giving it a small squeeze. "We want to see you strong again, honestly. We want to fight right along side you, like we did when we were little. We miss that, and because of that we're willing to do whatever it takes to help you recover. So please don't think you're a burden, or slowing us down, because you're not."
Shu's understanding of this whole situation with his father was a little more than rocky. It was difficult to explain to him exactly what he should get from all of this since families could be so drastically different. Not to mention he'd been exposed to life on Earth, which in so many ways conflicted with the Saiyan lifestyle. Not to mention the other planets he had gone to as of late, who knows how those had effected his understanding. To give him an idea of how a family ought to operate then was near impossible, he had so many conflicting ideas. Kabocha was at his wits end with explaining it to him, letting out a soft sigh as he rubbed at his head.

"He wanted you to be a strong soldier I'm guessing. That was his whole purpose behind that program, yeah? To make you guys work for him and be stronger?" Really though, if he wanted a loyal military all the king had to do was not be such a jerk. "We can't really answer any of that for you Shu, we just don't know. The collar program was pretty hush-hush for the most part, and the only time any of us saw it in action was when we saw you. Really, if we want to be able to get an answer then you'll have to ask your old man yourself. That... Or one of the scientists that worked on the program..."

He didn't want to put T'charrl on the spot like this, but if there was a chance to get some help then they needed to jump at it. Otherwise who knows how long it could take to get the others proper medical attention? Plus, while it wasn't his place to say what was fair and not he'd been given treatment, and therefore the others should get it as well. As far as he was concerned too both Shu and Viral needed attention much more than he did, and he was willing to do whatever was needed to make sure that they were seen to. Of course, all of this was moot thought if T'charrl wasn't up to or capable of helping them out.

"Well... I can try to scrape up a little more for you to use," Takeshi answered, smiling faintly as he looked ahead, watching the trees pass by. "Or... Yumi or Vegeta might be willing to help. The healthier everyone is the better the group is as a whole. If you agree to this then I appreciate it T'charrl, seriously. I'll owe you big time for this." He had no clue how he'd repay the Prince for it, but if he could help either his brother or the Beastman then he'd be indebted to him.

Getting Viral and Shu to a real doctor was definitely their first priority, no doubt about it. As to where that doctor could be found that was another question entirely, one they would probably not get an answer to until the last minute. Not the best way to look for medical attention certainly, but they didn't have very much else in the way of choices. Someone on this planet was bound to be a doctor, but Vegeta had already taken it upon himself more than once to play doctor since arriving, and he'd prefer to do it himself again. They needed someone familiar with Saiyan anatomy to properly see to Shu, and shy of someone who had experimented on Viral no one else was going to know much about the Beastman. What a headache to have to work through. Viral then brought up something Vegeta would rather have left alone; his pride when it came to fixing things. He definitely liked to think of himself as being capable when it came to things of this nature, and being beaten by a problem was never a satisfying outcome. He didn't take failure well.

"I-I do not throw tantrums!" Vegeta huffed indignantly, crossing his arms over his chest. "And... I know I'm ready to fight. I haven't trained in what, three days? I spent a year training before that, a few days isn't going to throw me off completely. Sheesh... And why wouldn't you be able to fight once you heal? It's the only thing keeping you back. Well... That and... The PTSD..." It felt like it ought to be a taboo subject, Viral's problem. Yet they couldn't just brush it under the rug, not when it was very clearly a problem that needed helping. "Look, you were the strongest out of all of us before this happened, okay? And I'm willing to bet you will be again, but only when we go and get you the help you need. We want you to get back to that point, all you've got to do is let us help you get there."

"And we're going to be as patient as we can about it too," Yumi interjected, shooting Vegeta a warning glance before smiling at Viral. "No one is bored with you, we promise. We only want to help, that's all. We're excited to be able to fight with you just like we always used to, and that can't happen until you feel better. That's why we're being so persistent about things, because we want to get back to how things used to be with the three of us. Don't you want that too?"
Oooooh, that sounds fun :D

The only thing I might have issue with is the amulet giving buffs against dragonkin, just because I don't imagine there's terribly many of them, making the amulet kind of obsolete in most cases.

Otherwise it seems like a fun idea :D Let's see what Brad thinks of it, but with a tiny bit of tweaking it could definitely work.
It was a welcome sight to see Link having himself a few droughts of water. By traveling as much as he did the treasure hunter knew what over-saturation could do, he'd spend many nights hunched over a bush as testament to it. Caelan was spared having to say anything though as he was handed back the water skin, reflexively taking a peek inside of it to check the levels. Sure enough as Demoko had stated before the contents remained unchanged, an infinite supply of water. Was such a thing possible? If this was true then he was elated, there was so much he would be able to do with this item. Before his magic was largely limited by the water available to him in the immediate area. While pulling moisture from the air was always possible it was a bit more tricky, and often times such as in the desert it left the air feeling heavy and uncomfortably hot. This water skin though, it would enable him to use his spells whenever and wherever he pleased, a welcome change.

"Well yeah... I get money for my work, but that's because..." Caelan paused, choosing his wording carefully. "Because I get paid to do it."

That was a lie, and he regretted having to tell a false tale to Link. Nothing against the other boy, but somehow he didn't think coming out and saying he plundered ruins and tombs was going to sit very well. Especially not when he was trying to gain the boy's trust, as well as the rest of the group's. Thieves were not typically known to be the most welcome of sorts, often stabbing people in the back and taking their precious valuables with little remorse for their victim. In a way he fit into that threshold, though he stole from the long since dead, or undead in some cases. Point being that even if he was a cut above the rest in terms of morality he was still one of them, that was a fact the mage couldn't change. As part of him found himself wanting to make some sort of connections with this group, particularly those close to his age, he was afraid to jeopardize that. Traveling alone for so long really wore on you, and if this was a chance to change that, even for a bit, he'd take it.

"Don't worry about fighting, really. Everyone hits a low point now and again, it's nothing to be ashamed of." Caelan tried to offer his reassurances, giving Link a small pat on the back accompanied by a smile. "You had a tough time of things, we all get it. So just get your strength back and let us handle it from here, we don't mind. There's no reason to feel bad."

Breaking up their conversation then was Nayrin, with some rather big news of her own. According to her there was a mass of men waiting for them, and they were trying to eliminate the group no less? Caelan took a moment longer than most to register this, blinking in surprise and looking between those around him. He'd been told there were people after them, sure, but thus far there hadn't been anything to really drive it home. Now here he was, potentially going to be blown up on a bridge just for being with these people. Well, he felt like he definitely chose the right side in terms of morality, but now he was beginning to question if this little quest of theirs was worth it. What good was making riches if he was going to end up dying for it? When he raided places before, alone or with others, he'd never been beset on another and nearly killed by them. There had been some nasty guards, but they were relatively harmless and easily fooled. Explosives, a mass of armed men? That was a different story.

Before he could even voice his uncertainties a set of rings was presented to them, Demoko urging them each to take one. Considering that the only other option available to him was head back into the desert by himself he really didn't have much else of a choice but to go along with it. Reluctantly then he stepped forward, taking one of the rings and turning it over in his fingers carefully to examine it. It was an unremarkable piece, not any distinguishing marks or gems to make it look any different than a normal band. That was probably the intent though, especially if it did what Demoko claimed it to do. No use in having a disguise if it made you stick out like a sore thumb. Sighing in resignation Caelan shrugged his shoulders, lifting his left hand and sliding the ring over his finger carefully.

"Man... This is going to suck..." he grumbled, waiting for the change. "I'm not going to make any gold out of this..."
