It was safe to say the conversation over the sword wasn't going anywhere pleasant, so Takeshi elected to drop it altogether. Sooner or later Viral would come around to training him, he liked to think so. After all, they would be returning to Earth probably right after this, and there the Beastman would get his help. Once that was done he'd be happy... Or the equivalent of happy when it came to Viral.

"I know he didn't like that Shu... And I apologized," Takeshi said, a bit deflated that his brother was getting in on it too. He could very well argue with someone else, but with Shu he didn't have the heart to say anything back. Smiling sadly the older boy then shook his head, slumping slightly. "I wouldn't call your tail a thing, because it's not a thing. His sword... It's an object I guess? A tool? Thing was the wrong word to say, I get it. But I don't understand how it's supposed to be an extension of your body." That had very clearly flown over his head. It was a weapon, that's all it was. Whatever Viral was talking about was over complicating things, plain and simple.

Everything happening was a fair bit worrying. They were going on another mission, which every time it happened she couldn't help but become concerned. Simple fact being that they couldn't possibly know everything they might encounter, and they could well run into something well beyond their expertise. Hearing everyone arguing too was a downer, Yumi's ears folding flat against her head sadly. Viral was awake and at least a little better, they should be happy. Coupled with her already troubled thoughts and she was feeling awfully down now. Her hand was gripped by another, and she looked up to see Choi smiling at her reassuringly. "I know you guys will be fine up here. Just try and keep T'charrl some company too, please? I don't want him getting lonely since Shu is coming with us." The Kaesstrian was much like the little Saiyan in that regard, she'd found. With his being so far from home, family and comfort he definitely needed company. Maybe it would be best he come with them actually, now that Yumi considered it. Just as she was going to change her mind the healing room door slid open, and she turned expecting to see Viral coming out ready to go. What she didn't expect was for her friend to make a savage leap at Takeshi, his weapon drawn. "Viral, no!"

Takeshi had only just taken notice of the door opening up, and had absolutely no time to react to what was going on. Alarmed seeing the cleaver racing for him he did the only thing he could think to, raising an arm up above his head to take the blade instead of having something vital hit. Expecting the bite of steel he was confused when there was no pain, looking up baffled over his extended limb at the Beastman. So that was supposed to be some kind of test, was that it? Okay, now he was getting angry.

"Are you serious?! That's what that was about!" Takeshi snapped, dropping his arm and glaring at Viral. "I apologized already, what more do you want me to do?! Did you really have to go and nearly kill me, you jerk?" That was so uncalled for, he'd darn near lost a limb. Trembling slightly, both out of anger and a bit of fright he clenched his fists, resisting the urge of hitting his friend for pulling a stunt like that. Before things had a chance to escalate however the ship's communications system chimed to life, and one of the engineers voices sounded throughout the craft.

"Er... Everyone? We've got trouble!" the voice said, "At least five ships approaching, fast! We tried hailing them but they won't reply, and they all look like they're armed! What should we do?" Well that brought up a troubling situation, bringing the arguing to a quick close. With apparent enemies closing in fast they had to decide if it was fight or flight. Since they had gone through the trouble of getting to this world fight seemed to be a bit more of a convenient option, but was it better? The craft only had two cannons that they knew of, and some basic shields to absorb a few hits. Against five probably faster craft though was a fight going to be wise?

"Damn it all... Did the Saiyans send people after us?" Not good, they had to fight them. If these were Saiyan vessels they would be relentless in their pursuit, or at the very least report back with the craft they had. Vegeta didn't like their odds of a battle, still new to the controls, but it was crucial they not be seen or followed by the enemy. "I need two people to come with me to the bridge to man the cannons, I don't care who!" Turning then he began to run off towards the bridge again, making hasty speed to get there and turning into a faint blur rather quickly. Well some mess this had turned out to be. After Vegeta went Kabocha, more than willing to get into a fight, even if it meant losing their ship. That left just one person needed to fire the second cannons.
"No, I don't think you're the same because you're not a weapon," Takeshi retorted, frowning and getting defensive now. It had been an earnest and polite question, why did Viral have to get all angry about it? Even just trying to have civil conversation with the guy wasn't doing him any good, there just wasn't any making him happy. Slightly annoyed at the comment about lack of respect the Saiyan turned his head away, biting back a sharp comment as he folded his arms angrily. Fine, maybe he wouldn't go to the Beastman for help then, since Viral clearly didn't want to train him. After all, how could Takeshi show his sword proper respect when he had no clue how to use it? Bah, to hell with it. Sooner or later they were bound to come across somebody who could instruct him, or worst case scenario he would teach himself. Figuring an argument would only ensue if he pushed the subject the older boy went to the doorway, leaning against it while keeping his gaze elsewhere. Bothered a fair bit, but he kept his mouth shut. The last thing he wanted was to make Viral angry, and in having done so already now it was best to just avoid talking for the time being.

The comparison that Viral was drawing flew right over Vegeta's head. Whoever the Beastman was referring to clearly he was not a fan of them, that much he gathered. Sighing softly to himself then Vegeta lifted a hand, running it through his hair before looking back at his friend. "Yeah, the rest of us can't track them like you can, so we need your help. Thank you for agreeing to come with us." Why did he have to make it sound like he'd no choice in the matter. Viral really needed to get over this idea of subordination that he apparently held towards Vegeta, because the Saiyan didn't like it one bit. They were friends, not this master and servant exchange they seemed to have

Yumi and Takeshi each answered Viral's questions as best they could, the latter doing so before sulking off. It seemed a sound plan to everyone else involved, it gave Viral a chance to fight again and be more active, hopefully making him happier in the process. Thankfully Takeshi didn't take to the Beastman's comment about swords, as both Yumi and Vegeta expected an argument to break out. Their friend's request for privacy to change would be readily met.

"We'll just be right outside when you're ready Viral," Yumi spoke, smiling softly before turning and leaving the room. Ushering Choi out along with herself she was followed by Vegeta, then Takeshi and Kabocha. Once everyone had gathered out in the hall they closed the door to let Viral do as he needed, leaning up against the wall or standing about idly to wait. Finally, Takeshi decided to voice some annoyance.

"Didn't mean to upset the guy, sheesh. I just wanted to know how to use my sword is all..."

"You've got to be mindful of how he feels about his weapon. That thing's as much a part of him as Shu's tail is a part of Shu. Calling it just a 'thing' is insulting," Vegeta explained, rather impatient for Takeshi's complaints right now.

"Well I apologized! And he was still being a pain about it!" Takeshi gave a roll of his eyes, looking over his shoulder at the hilt of his sword jutting out. "Seriously, how else am I going to learn to use this thing?"

"Just swing it around until something happens, that's what I'd do." Kabocha said, smirking and hefting his shoulders in a shrug. "How hard can it be to be good with a sword anyways? As long as its sharp and you've got a good arm it can't be all that complex. I mean jeez, it's a sharp stick more or less."

"That 'sharp stick' was used to kill people for thousands of years on our world, and probably plenty of others too. In the right hands a sword is a very deadly tool. Anyone with basic training would make short work of Takeshi if he got into a fight." Fact was that swordsmanship wasn't someone just happened to pick up, it took precise drilling and practice. Vegeta shook his head in annoyance, letting out a sigh and looking across to Takeshi. "He'll train you, just give him time to cool down. He only just woke up and already you're demanding that he trains you, I can't blame him for being annoyed frankly."

Takeshi opened his mouth to offer a rebuttal, thinking better of it and closing it again. Vegeta was right, he really could have picked a better time, but instead his excitement got the better of him. "I'll try again later, when he's up for it. I really do want to learn how to use this thing." After all, Shu had his staff, and now Takeshi his sword. They could be trained concurrently, and hopefully there they'd get something more they could do together too. Goodness knows there had hardly been any time as of late for them to do anything remotely fun with just the two of them.
Takeshi was fair eager to learn to use his sword, having been pretty much enamored with the idea of it from the start. He wasn't so clueless as to think he could just swing it around willy nilly though, he needed instruction. Seeing as Viral was the only weapons expert among them he was then the obvious choice to ask for help. Takeshi had figured he'd asked tactfully enough, trying to be polite as possible. Nevertheless it somehow managed to upset Viral, apparently angry over the sword being referred to as a thing. It was though, wasn't it? Just a piece of metal, not sentient and certainly nothing more than a tool. That's how he saw it anyways, the Beastman had a radically different view. Thinking of the sword as an extension of his body wasn't quite the most simplistic thing to wrap his mind around. If he hoped to get anywhere with lessons he would have to see things Viral's way, which meant respecting the sword.

"Alright... Alright... Sorry. Maybe I'll respect it more when I learn how to use it though?" Takeshi suggested, smiling eagerly. "After all, all the sword does now is lie around. If I could actually make use of it then I'd think it's a lot more important, and I'd respect it!" Maybe not the best way to word that, it sounded like he was just trying to appease Viral for the sake of training. As of now the Saiyan couldn't view the sword as anything but a tool, least of all not an extension of his body. It was easy for Viral to call his own weapon that when he had always had the thing, it was like Takeshi's and Shu's tails. Albeit the former was sort of missing his for some time now, but the point was the same.

"We think its best to kill these creatures before they can cause any more harm, that's why we're going down there," Vegeta explained patiently, crossing his arms over his chest. "And I opted to bring you because I know you can fight them. Yes, I've got questions about that thing we've fought, but I'm not using you as a means to answer those. I'd say its a safe bet that if there are people on the world then they'll know about the creatures and what they are. All I'll need to do is ask someone down there then, you're not needed for that." He'd have thought Viral would be ecstatic to fight now that he was healed up. Plus, he'd managed to kill the monster, that ought to have helped out his mood a little bit. Apparently not.

Yumi took no pleasure in seeing Viral so upset, as she too had hoped his healing would cheer him up a little. Unaware she was inadvertently causing further grief she stepped forward and opted to give him a hug, the most simplistic form of comfort she could think of, not wanting to overdo it. Much to her dismay she was pushed back, even if gently, leaving her a little upset as she looked down at the Beastman. "We all are ready, more or less. Those of us who want it will still need to put armor on, but other than that we're good to go." They all had changes of clothes, and perhaps with the exception of Kai, Choi and Kabocha no one was keen to wear Saiyan gear, not wanting to convey the wrong message. Takeshi wore a red colored jumpsuit with a pair of boots and gloves, and a black vest he'd dug up goodness knows wear, that was the closest any of them were to the regular Saiyan attire.

"It'll be just us going down," Takeshi added, gesturing to himself, Shu, Yumi and Vegeta. "We figure a small party is better, and this way there's plenty of people to keep the ship safe. We were hoping you'd be willing to come with the rest of us, if you're up for it. Got to get the old crew back together, you know? It'll be fun."
Yumi only offered a shrug of her shoulders, looking at Viral as he slowly came to. Sure he was a fighter, but that didn't change the fact he had been through hell and back. It was debatable if he'd been through worse or not too, all of his grief had been cumulative. With any degree of fortune his suffering was ending here, now that he had healed up at last. Maybe she was too soon forgetting that the tank didn't heal someone mentally, a fact that made her mood drop even further. They needed to get to Earth as soon as possible, only then could he finally get what he needed and be truly happy. At the very least now they weren't going to have to be concerned about his suddenly dying on them from an injury. All they needed to do now was calm him down and keep him happy enough until they finally got home.

"We got to the battle late, Viral. I knew you could handle it so I didn't interrupt," Takeshi explained truthfully, offering a polite smile. "You made quick work of whatever that thing was, there was no reason for me to use my sword. Though next time I get a chance believe me, I'm taking it. Can't wait to see how this thing works!" Since acquiring it he hadn't let it out of his sight since. Being a straight sword it was easy enough to carry, and currently it was wrapped up in a crude sheath made of a small blanket, resting across his back. Somewhere along the lines he'd have to find a proper sheath, this makeshift one wasn't going to hold up for very long. "And... Now that you're awake and we've got free time maybe I can get some lessons from you? After all, you're an ace with your own weapon, so who better to learn from?"

"We woke you because you'd been in the pod long enough to heal. And... We've found the planet that the monster came from. As soon as everyone is prepared we're planning on heading down to take a look around, and if possible kill any more of those things we find along the way." They were dangerous creatures, Vegeta and Viral had scarcely handled it. The beast had certainly been not in its right mind, attacking them blindly and head on as it had been, must have been hungry. Vegeta really didn't enjoy the idea of possibly fighting a handful of those at once, a rather daunting task. One was hard enough to track on its own, and with four or five phasing into walls they'd be hard pressed to keep an eye on the enemy. Whilst watching Viral he saw the Beastman look elsewhere, following his gave over to where Yumi and Choi stood. That got a cringe, he'd figured there would be some discontent over that. They had all learned about it soon after it had happened, during the meal, and had debated on letting Viral know. At the time it was decided best not to keep secrets from him, but now he wasn't so sure.

Vegeta bit his lip nervously at Viral's outburst, giving Yumi and Choi an uneasy look. It was probably best for them to leave, as having just woken up the last thing Viral needed was something to set him off. "We want you to fight with us on the planet, that's why we woke you up," he said gently, reiterating his point earlier. "Plus, you seemed to be able to follow that thing even when it went into the floor. You're better at fighting them than any of us in that case. It'll give you a chance to stretch your legs some and get back into fighting." There was quite a bit of anguish on Viral's part over being unable to fight as of late, so maybe this was just what they needed for him.

Yumi hadn't noticed Viral's look in her direction, but upon hearing his tone she turned her attention towards him. Certainly still upset, regardless of how he might be feeling physically. Well perhaps she could help that a little, she'd had some minor success in the past. Letting go of Choi's hand she gave him a soft smile, walking over to Viral and folding her hands at her waist, looking down at him gently. "I'm glad you're okay, Viral. I was really worried when I heard what happened to you." It had been exaggerated a little as to what his condition had been, Kabocha's explanation making it sound like he was literally dying. Some internal damage maybe, but nothing near what it had been made out as. Keeping her smile on Yumi leaned down, attempting to take her friend into a hug to give some comfort. "Hope you're feeling a little better now."
"Yeah... He does, but that wasn't doing a lot for him before. Unless the machine helped that then it still won't do him a lot of good." Well this was a downer, even having Choi wasn't making Yumi feeling terribly much better. Not to say she wasn't pleased with his being there, and once her hand was held she leaned against him for support. Sleep deprivation, stress, it was like Viral's situation only far less severe. While her friend needed more help she refused to voice her own problems, wanting the Beastman to feel better first and foremost. "The vitals sounded like they were okay while he was in there, and he's breathing... So that's good, right?"

"He's fine guys, don't worry so much," Vegeta said, giving Viral's cheek a patting to try and rouse him from his nap. He was most definitely asleep, for the first time in goodness knows how long. Three hours may not be as much as he needed but he had healed, staying in the tank any longer would be superfluous. Not getting an initial reply from his friend he opted to try speaking to Viral instead, hoping his voice might help out some. It did the trick, and Vegeta nearly ended up with a haircut as a result, but it had worked. Smiling sheepishly at the close call he reached out, grabbing the towel from Shu and carefully draping it over the Beastman's shoulders. "You're in the healing room on the ship. You sort of passed out earlier, so we brought you here. You only just got out of the tank, so I'd give it a minute before you try doing anything." Smiling kindly he gestured for Shu to come forward with the clothes, looking back to Viral. "We got you some new clothes too for when you're ready. Are you actually feeling any better?"

"Of course he's feeling better! Those pods work magic!" Kabocha smiled brightly, rather confident in their machines to get the job done. It could fix somebody up in a jiffy, even someone as beaten as Viral had been. "You kicked the crap out of that monster too man, it was awesome! How do you do that thing with your arms? You were all swish, slash, swoosh!" The sounds were accompanied with slashes of the Saiyan's hands, clearly Kabocha was feeling more energetic after a meal and nap. Plus with the impending landing on a world and potential fights there was ample reason to be excited. During his bit of excitement he failed to notice a hand coming for him, wincing as he was smacked upside the head by Takeshi. "Ow dude! What the heck?!"

"Calm down or you'll be the next one in the pod." Takeshi warned, smiling faintly amused at Kabocha's expense. "Seriously, he only just woke up. Want to try not chewing his ear off?" It was very impressive what Viral had done, making short work of that monster. Now that the Beastman was all healed up he ought to be able to do that again without having to tap into his reserves of power. Hopefully that meant Viral was good to fight, because if there were more of those creatures on the planet below they were going to need every fighter possible. "Really though, nice job Viral."
"I'm new to this too Choi, so don't think you're alone here." Yumi chimed, smiling rather happily. It was impossible not to smile right now, this was by far the best thing that happened to her in some time. Reuniting with her friends was a very close second, but now she had someone she could consider more than a friend. The feeling she got, welling up inside her chest, it was wonderful. There was such an urge to spend as much time with Choi now, to get to know him better and just talk to him. If nothing else he was just fun to be around, his presence enough in of itself to make her happy. It certainly calmed her too, taking her mind off of certain things she'd rather not contemplate. Giggling a bit she shrugged her shoulders, cocking her head to the side slightly. "Well get used to it, you're one of the good guys now Choi. Lots of people are going to be nice to you from now on."

Getting fair bold for a moment Yumi quickly gave her boyfriend a hug, wanting to convey that things were going to be alright. They had to be, they both had not only each other but their friends and families now, it couldn't possibly go badly now. Pulling away she smiled at Choi sympathetically, giving a curt nod of her head. She may not love Kai, certainly not Daiko, but she didn't want either of them to end up how Shu and Viral had. Or how she had too. It was bar none the most unpleasant experience she had ever gone through, not something she'd wish even on her greatest enemy. Her changes weren't all bad, at least Choi seemed to like her new look, so not a total loss. When he asked if she liked them all Yumi could do was shrug her shoulders, smiling meekly at the Saiyan boy. Like probably wasn't the proper word, that would involve enjoying this to some degree. Habitually she reached up to the side of her head where her ear used to be, instead feeling naught but smooth skin and hair. Her ears were now atop her head, one of the few changes she had gone through. It was still taking some getting used to, that was sure. But she couldn't let Choi know how she felt, she didn't want to spread her grief.
With Earth quite a ways from their current position it was ultimately elected that a change in plans. They would still return to the group's home, but first there was the curious matter of the monster that had been encountered. Not a single person on board the ship could place where it had come from, nor could anyone explain what had happened when it had been beaten. Nothing like it existed anywhere as far as the collective knowledge was concerned, so it had to be from a far reach of space. Having the unique ability to travel through surfaces it had been a fair dangerous for indeed, yet thankfully not all that strong. The possibility of more of those beasts, potentially stronger ones at that, was awfully troubling. It had taken two strong fighters just to beat one of them, the thought of a horde was unsettling indeed. If this creature hadn't been brought on intentionally by the Saiyans then it had slipped on somehow, somewhere along the line. A monster like that was dangerous, it was in their interest then to discover where it had come from and if at all possible keep any more from getting off the world. But where exactly had it come from anyways?

Vegeta had come up with a solution, by tracking through the ships travel logs to find the last world visited. It only made sense it was the last place they went, as someone would have noticed the creature otherwise before now. The only information available in the ship's recorder were the coordinates for the world, no name or any other information to offer. If anything it must have been a pit stop then, every other world had a fair bit of data. They had the route to get there though, and certainly the means as well. Only Vegeta and the engineers remained awake to pilot the craft while everyone else went to get some rest, everyone having eaten before doing so. In spite of the large size the vessel was proving to be awfully maneuverable, and quick too. Much faster than the rebel craft they had been lent, and just as smooth as a ride. One hour passed fair quick, and then a second, and soon they were upon the planet. It was a gray looking orb floating in the midst of three moons, small splotches of green and blue the only indication it was not just another satellite. Once they all were ready they could get to work and land, hopefully clearing out these monsters and making travel a little safer in the process. First things first, Viral had to be woken and everyone needed to gear up.

"You sure he's going to be all healed by now?" Yumi asked worriedly, looking at the tank. "It's only been a few hours."

"These pods work remarkably well Yumi, so yes, he'll be healed. Physically at least, it'll put him back in shape before any of this happened, if I understand right." Vegeta replied as he busily worked on bringing the systems down. The oxygen would be cut off last, his first concern was to drain the liquids. Finding the proper controls he opened up a small drain on the bottom, watching as the healing fluids began to seep out of the pod, draining steadily. Only once everything was drained out could they pull Viral free from the container and his sensors. He ought to be dried off as well, so Shu was standing by, his little arms full of a towel and a set of clothing. It would be Saiyan garb, probably not ideal but certainly better than going stark naked.

"If you say so, though I can't help but worry still." It was quite a bit of damage that the Beastman had to come back from, and with his healing not working properly this machine was going to have to make up for things. Looking at Choi uncertainly she sighed, leaning against him and sliding her hand into hers. A fitful nap and now this was making her awfully unsettled, she very much needed his presence right now.

Takeshi waited patiently for all of the liquid to drain before opening the door, letting Kabocha in past him to support Viral, as he was still asleep. While the latter held the Beastman Takeshi went about removing the wires and mask, letting them hang idly along the sides of the tube while easing their friend out. It was kind of gross, he was covered in the liquid and it was awfully slimy to the touch, and he'd already showered once today. Ah well, it would dry up. Following Vegeta's prompts they sat Viral down in one of the chairs, being careful not to let him fall out as he was set down. Vegeta then walked over to the Beastman, leaning over and giving his cheek a patting to try and wake him up.

"Viral...? Rise and shine, you're done in the tank. Can you hear me?"
"So stop putting so much into being a twin and be your own guy?" Kabocha suggested, smiling at Kai. "Seriously, you two fight together very well, but it doesn't mean you have to do EVERYTHING together. Did you honestly expect to be around him for the entirety of your lives? I mean come on Kai, you had to have seen this coming." He knew enough about siblings that they would separate after some time. The fact that Kai and Choi were still together was due to their assigned squad, otherwise they'd have been split apart just like any other Saiyan children. The only reason he figured the Princes still had one another was because they more or less needed the other, and it was probably some weird Earth thing too. To Kabocha his friend was putting way too much stock into being a twin and not enough about being his own person for a change. Probably easier said than done, but to him it seemed like a perfectly fine answer.

"Dude, no way would I get my parents confused! My dad is a short coward and my mom's a tall psycho, they don't even look remotely similar." Rolling his eyes in exasperation Kabocha folded his arms across his chest again, shaking his head. "I was kidding anyways man, chill. I know you two well enough that you're two totally different guys, regardless of how you look. I'm just picking on a teammate, that's all. Now come on," he paused, reaching out and smacking Kai's arm lightly. "Let's find some rooms huh? Then we can head to the mess hall and finally get some food in our stomachs."

Yumi probably ought to have asked about Viral, but didn't feel the need to. There had been no indication of any problems thus far, and knowing him he'd want somewhere to go and relax by himself once given the chance. Once she was through here maybe she'd try to slink off and see him, at the very least to offer to help him find a room. First things first, it was time to get admissions out of the way. As adamant as she was about sharing her feelings it was quite nerve-wracking to do so, and she was scarcely thrilled with this feeling she was getting. Nonetheless she had eventually come out and said it, albeit after some beating around the bush. How would Choi react to her feelings though? If she weren't so embarrassed for saying that she'd be checking his features for some kind of reaction, instead hiding her face. It was only when he began to speak that she was able to look back at him, earnestly surprised by his response.

"So... Is that a yes?" Yumi asked, giving Choi a puzzled look. It sounded like a yes, but she was cautious to be sure. In his usual manner of rambling it sounded like he agreed to her proposal, and instantly a wide albeit meek smile crossed her face. Oh this was a happy day, she now had herself a boyfriend! Choi of all people, a boy whose head she had been quite intent on tearing off not two days prior was now going to be the one she'd spend the most time with out of anyone. How strange that sounded, and yet it felt just right. Hearing the apologies coming from Choi she felt awfully conflicted as how to reply, not knowing what was okay or not as far as their interactions were concerned. This whole concept of dating was pretty much theory to her, she knew how it was done but had never practiced it. Finally deciding on showing her support and to brush aside the past she quickly threw her arms around the Saiyan's neck, smiling as she hid her blushing visage against his shoulder.

"I don't blame you for what happened, not anymore," she said gently, giving a small shake of her head. "You had no other choice, and I wouldn't want you to have to lose your dad or even Kai. You did what you had to, and it worked out in the end." Ultimately she was okay, for the most part. Pulling her face from Choi's shoulder she smiled sweetly, freeing one hand up to tap his nose playfully. "Besides, I got some cute ears out of it that my boyfriend seems to love. What could be bad about that?"

"Sounds good buddy, I'll be waiting." Even if Shu couldn't read his sense of direction was fine, he'd get to the healing room no problem. Takeshi took off his scouter after his brother finished talking, setting it down on the console and getting back into his seat. Well, now was the calm before the next storm, judging by how things usually went. Goodness knows what would be thrown their way next. Sighing softly to himself the Saiyan rotated his chair, propping his legs up on the corner of the console and folding his arms across his chest. Whatever it was they'd be ready, that much he was confident of. With all the strength they had as a team now they could tackle near any obstacle.
"Hey... I'm bad with women, I'll admit it," Kabocha said, putting his hands up defensively before smirking. "But at least I'm not acting like I'm allergic to them. I'll teach you confidence then, hows that? Really there isn't a single guy around here that's a true ladies man, we're all kinda hopeless romantics huh?" Or at least the rest of them were, somehow Choi of all people had looked to land himself a girlfriend. Yumi wasn't quite the kind of girl he had in mind for himself, she was much too fiery and frankly a bit intimidating, even before when she was just human. That didn't also count the fact her best friend Vegeta was pretty darn strong in his own right. Wrong that girl and you'd have him breathing down your neck, not to mention the Princes... And probably Viral too. Yikes.

Speaking of Vegeta, Kabocha really couldn't offer anything as to how the guy had handled the news. Viral was definitely in bad shape and by all means deserved some kind of attention from his friends. It could be the Saiyan mindset that made both himself and Kai think there should be more concern, since if it was one of them they'd all be in a tiff. Rather than freak out everyone looked fairly calm over it, with the exception of once Yumi found out most likely. She'd definitely be the one to get super emotional over it. Thank goodness none of them had caused that either, otherwise Yumi would quite literally tear them apart. Diverting focus back to Choi and getting quite the response from Kai, Kabocha quickly put his hands up defensively, grinning as he came to a stop.

"Whoa man, cool it, I was just teasing. No reason to get all glum about things." Patting Kai's shoulder the other Saiyan glanced at the door to their side, debating on claiming the room there as his own. With a dismissive shrug of his shoulders Kabocha looked back to his friend, smiling apologetically. "I didn't know you were so bothered by it man, jeez. Look, we'll find you a girl too at some point, everyone's got somebody. I mean crap... Look at my mom and dad! Even for Saiyans they're both a bit extreme, either lazy or nuts. If they can find somebody then a good looking dude like yourself can too." Putting the tease back on he pivoted on his heel, turning his back to the Saiyan while crossing his arms. "I just hope your girlfriends don't get you two confused. Could be aaaaawkward."

"So was Viral, so maybe he should get it? He was there a lot longer than I was, Shu too." Yumi pointed out, tugging Choi along. The compliment about her ears made her flush yet again, a meek smile crossing her lips as said ears folded down shyly. "Aw... Thanks. I guess they're kind of cute, aren't they? And I'll get my relaxation, it just might not be in a luxury room like the Captain's, that's all." Nope, it was decided in her mind that the nicest room was going to either the Beastman or the younger brother. They might even be able to share, though she wasn't sure how keen either party would be with that arrangement. Shu would likely be agreeable with just about anyone, Viral... Sans for her and Vegeta probably no one else. Even Shu would be pushing it.

Getting tugged along then by Choi as she took the lead Yumi followed right along behind, smiling cheerfully as she let herself be led. Now this wasn't so bad, being dragged around. She could see his face now, and get a reminder of how cute he really was. Kai and Choi both looked remarkably similar, enough to the point that if she didn't know them personally she'd not know who was who. Yet somehow Choi had this air of cheerfulness about him, and his features looked more boyish to her. It could be actual differences she was only now seeing, or perhaps just her mind making things up. Her musing was interrupted when the sound of a door opening roused her, looking at Choi and nodding as he led the way into the room. Oh dear, now they were together and alone, just like she had wanted. It was time to talk then, great.

"Thanks for agreeing to this, first of all. I know there's been a ton that has gone on, so I would have totally understood if you wanted to relax instead." Yumi smiled up at Choi for a moment, their hands still linked together as she gazed up at his features. Exhaling softly to try and settle her nerves she looked down at their hands, giving their arms a little swing. "I wanted to tell you... That I've been having a ton of fun getting to know you. I almost can't even believe how angry I was at you before, or how much I hated you guys. Even Kabocha is starting to grow on me, even if he is basically the new Takeshi." Giggling softly she shook her head, looking back at Choi with a sweet smile. With her free hand she brushed a bit of bangs out of her eyes, shifting the weight of herself onto one foot nervously. "I'm really glad that we've been able to do this, it's been really nice. It's crazy how quickly we became friends, and yet..." she paused, biting her lip uncertainly. "What if... What if we could be more than that?"

Well there it was, out in the open. The pounding of her heart in her chest was almost deafening, Yumi worried Choi could hear it. Why was she so concerned about what this boy thought? In earnest she could understand why she wanted to be friends with him, he was a good person. These feelings that she had though, they were beyond simple friendship. Wasn't it? Besides Vegeta she had never had a guy near her own age that she had considered so close, and while she loved Vegeta it was much more of a sibling love. So... Did she love Choi? Giving the Saiyan a final look she turned her head away, cheeks burning hotly as she squirmed a little on the spot. If it wasn't love then it was something awfully similar.

Takeshi wasn't exactly doing a whole ton where he was, being a pretty solitary task he'd given himself. Aside from getting up and checking the vitals now and again he sat in his chair, gazing around the room for anything interesting. His job was so easy right now it was unsurprising he zoned out, going off into his own little world. Where would they go after this exactly? If Viral healed after this and all was well they didn't need to rush to Earth. Then again, they were feeling homesick, so maybe a visit was in order regardless. Besides their home world he couldn't well imagine what would be in store for them. Fighting more Saiyan soldiers? Exploring planets? Maybe even taking the fight to the king? Anything could happen, anything probably would happen, and it had him oddly excited. When his scouter suddenly clicked on and Shu's voice came through the speaker Takeshi yelped softly, tumbling back out of his chair in surprise and landing square on his backside.

"Ow... What do you mean you're lost? Where is everyone else?" Takeshi asked, frowning slightly. Awesome, so they must have left Shu and T'charrl, because somehow that was a good idea. Well, joining him wasn't exactly going to be an enthralling experience, but at least he'd have some company then. "Give me one second Shu, let me figure out where you are and I'll bring you here."

Picking himself up off the floor he went over to the console, a bit clueless as to what to choose on the panel. He knew there were cameras onboard the craft, he ought to be able to see those from here. After a fair bit of digging through various programs he managed to find it, opening the console up and getting a screen with several different images. Okay, he was in the western corridor near the engine room, and Shu was... In the Eastern, about halfway towards the bridge. Okay, on the totally opposite side, wonderful. Not hard to get to though, it would just take a bit of walking.

"Alright Shu, you're going to need to go back the way you came. When you get to the engine room walk past it, around where the hall curves and then goes straight again. Follow that hall down and you'll find where I am, I'll leave the door open. Got it?"
"How the heck should I know? And I wouldn't think that the whole sexuality thing carries over for twins. I mean come on... You guys don't share EVERYTHING. You'd be the same person then." Seemed fair obvious to Kabocha, and he hardly knew a darn thing about twins. Rare as they were in the Saiyan race very little was common knowledge, and even less was known about what unique abilities, or perhaps tendencies they may have. Chuckling to himself he shook his head, leaning over and slinging an arm around Kai's shoulders, prodding him in the chest. "And we're going to work on that female anxiety of yours! Don't worry, your buddy Kabocha is right here to show you the way!"

"Sounded preoccupied to me, but maybe he wasn't." Kabocha mused, shrugging his shoulders. "People from Earth can be so weird sometimes I never know what they're on about or thinking. They're complicated sometimes." Saiyans were much more straightforward... For the most part. Fight, sleep, train... And girls, couldn't forget girls. Plain and simple needs and wants, easily conveyed. All of these people from Earth though had so many weird things going on in their minds that he couldn't even begin to try and fathom how they thought. It had been quite the task wrapping his mind around Takeshi's tendency for mercy when they'd first met. As often as he would strike someone down he would often spare someone. What's more he had even gone to the aid of people they were meant to be repressing when the soldiers got out of hand. To them it was natural, but clearly not for the others. Kabocha frowned when Kai teased him over Yumi, mulling for a second before smiling impishly.

"I don't have to drag Choi into this, he's already got himself into the mess. Hell, I bet the two of them are sucking face right now!" Chuckling softly Kabocha quirked an eyebrow, turning about on his heel and stepped ahead of Kai, walking backwards while looking at him. "If he's kissing a girl can you tell? Oooooh, I wonder if you'll get jealous! Gods forbid a girl comes between our beloved twins!"

"The Captain's room...? Well... I'm sure it is nice, but that seems a bit excessive..." Yumi mumbled, frowning as he looked back at Shu. Someone else certainly deserved the luxury room, she hadn't done anything to earn it. If it was the best then either Shu or Viral ought to take it as far as she was concerned, they needed the rest more than anyone else. Picking up the little Saiyan's murmurs she turned around, smiling sweetly as she leaned down and gave his hair a light ruffling. "I know Takeshi will want to share a room with you, I can't imagine why he wouldn't. Why don't you use your scouter and ask him now? He's probably on his way up to find you as we speak." Giving T'charrl a curious look as he was asked she was disappointed that he turned down the request. If anyone needed company it was Shu, and the more people he had the better. If she didn't think it would be an utter nightmare sharing a room with Takeshi she would gladly offer to be with the Saiyan boy herself.

"We're going to go have a chat, call us if you need anything," Yumi added, smiling politely before turning to Choi. With no cue whatsoever to do so she reached out, snatching up one of his hands in her own. It was automatic, and soon she was walking down the corridor trying to drag the boy along behind her, scarcely paying mind to the fact she was holding her crushes hand again. That was until she noted the warmth against her own skin, becoming suddenly very aware of what she was doing right now. It was like she was a little girl again, her face heating up at such a simple gesture. They just needed to find a room to talk, preferably in private.
Freakin' beautiful Multi.
