"What are you talking about, I never touched anything," Yumi retorted, frowning in earnest puzzlement. She hadn't laid a hand on Viral, so why was he blaming her for that? He had to be confused by something, she hadn't done a single thing to him all day that could have caused that to happen. Not at all understanding her friend's anger towards her she shrank back a little, clasping her hands at her waist and averting her gaze. "I... I won't touch you then..." Clearly all that would do would be to anger Viral further, and she didn't want that. Vegeta would be more than capable of setting his arm back, and she was almost positive the Beastman would rather it that way too. "I'll call the others for help..." Looking at Viral for a moment she almost wanted to ask for his forgiveness, even not knowing what she had done wrong by him. He was angry with her, after they had technically won, so it was beyond him why he should feel this way. When no clear sign came that she'd be forgiven Yumi finally turned and walked off, going to the edge of the cliff and sitting down at it, draping her legs over the edge. Leaning forward and scrunching herself up a little she pressed her scouter, hoping to get in touch with someone. "Hello...? Anyone free?"

They were definitely going to need to find a brush or something later on, Shu's hair was an utter mess. A lot of good the showers had done for him, his hair was knotted beyond belief. Takeshi gave up on trying to comb through in favor of simply plucking free any clutter. Aside from a small twig or leaf and the occasional pebble there wasn't a whole ton in his brother's mass of hair, thank goodness. "I eat anything that people eat..." he said plainly, frowning as he tugged free a small bristly object, flicking it aside. "Most people I know don't eat bugs. Doesn't mean it's bad, it just means I don't do it." Nor would he ever try. There were plenty of things that Takeshi was willing to do to accommodate his sibling. Hell, he'd more or less changed his person over the last year or so just to be more likeable by Shu. Frankly the changes he had gone through thus far he didn't mind so much, even if sometimes it did feel like a front he was putting on just for his brother's sake. Pulling apart a few strands of hair he came across a little black speck on Shu's head, and indifferently he reached down and grabbed it up between his thumb and forefinger, pulling it free. As he did the little item expanded a bit, and then unfurled to reveal a centipede like creature now wriggling in his grip. "What the?!" Takeshi exclaimed, jumping a bit as he tossed the bug away. He wasn't afraid of bugs, but finding one like that was just... Eugh.

Mercifully there was an excuse to end the grooming session as Yumi's voice came through on the scouter. Taking the chance Takeshi patted Shu on the head before moving away, getting to his feet thankfully now that he didn't have to deal with that any longer. "We're done here, what do you need...?" he asked, watching Shu warily to see if he was going to try and munch on the insect. The other one was bad enough, he could just imagine his brother slurping up this one like a noodle, legs and all. The very thought near made Takeshi's gag reflex go off, he hated the idea.

"We found the god, or whatever it was. It's dead now... We beat it," Yumi explained, sounding a bit drained in her tone. Looking back at Viral for a second she sighed, slumping her shoulders as she looked back towards the temple. "But we're both pretty tired, and he's hurt. Can someone come by and help us?"

Takeshi had to clear out his ear for a second, thinking he had heard incorrectly. Yet sure enough Yumi and Viral were asking for help, or Yumi was anyways. It was a pretty rare occurrence, one that he was going to enjoy and perhaps rub in a little bit. He might have an least if she didn't sound rather upset, meaning that now was definitely not a good time to joke around. Coming off that idea the Saiyan nodded to himself, looking back over towards Shu and T'charrl. "Yeah, we can be there in a bit. Just hang tight." Time to get going then, which meant Shu couldn't keep being cleaned, and T'charrl couldn't keep chatting with his new friends. They had good cause to get moving though, and helping their friends frankly took precedence over being buddy buddy with some aliens. "Shu? T'charrl? You guys hear that? We should get going."

Tesuga didn't quite understand what all was being said, but his parents seemed happy and so he was too. What he could gather was that T'charrl would indeed return someday, and that in of itself had him giddy with excitement. All the things they would be able to do, the places they could go, he couldn't wait to experience it all. That time however was not going to be any time soon, and now too it seemed that they had to be leaving. Hearing one of the other aliens mention departing the little native was a bit bummed out by that fact. Knowing that they had things to do though he nodded as if giving them permission to go, smiling at everyone. "Back later, play! Safe then, yes?" Tesuga made it a point then to go to each and every alien, giving them each a hug wherever he could reach, be it a leg or some other limb. Once he had done that he scurried back to his parents, nuzzling up against his mother and waving to the trio. "Friends bye! See later!"

"Need anything, we have," the father added, smiling up at their visitors. "Always welcome, friends of Tesuga. Be safe, see again soon maybe." Hopefully they would return, there was so much that they could learn from these visitors, and their people could become all the better for it. With their god apparently gone now they were under their own power, for better or worse. Hopefully by the time these people returned they would be in a better state than they are now.
Bud, I don't know who told you that you can just leave and come back, but it doesn't work that way. You can take some courses while in active duty, sure, but you can't just leave and then return after school. You'll be able to leave AFTER your contract is done, sure, but you don't keep going back and forth.
"What do you mean? I didn't do anything," Yumi commented, frowning in confusion. She hadn't even touched Viral since coming to, not counting getting him out of the danger at least. She certainly didn't hurt him, that much she was positive of. Seeing the knock to his head she chalked it up perhaps as a little confusion, not understanding how else he could make that mistake. Nevertheless being snapped at like that made her feel bad, her ears folding flat as she looked at the ground. "You're not useless... You can still fight, I know you can," she urged gently, not wanting the Beastman to give up. He was still alive, so he could still fight. Whatever had happened to his arm didn't make him completely incapable of acting, and neither did the blow to his head. So long as he was conscious there was still a chance he could do something. In order to wipe out a creature that size they had to do something collective, it would take both their strengths to win. Viral wasn't very enthused with that suggestion, making it evident he wasn't in any mood to continue fighting, or that it wouldn't be easy anyways.

Regardless, Viral went into action yet again. Yumi watched as he used his energy in another curious way, growing a set of ethereal arms and then gathering energy in the hands. Even if she had seen it before it was still a wonder, nothing any of them could do compared to it in the slightest. Figuring now was the time to strike she turned back towards the creature, holding her arms out forward and cupping her hands together. She intended to gather up a good bit of Ki, whatever she could scrape together, and toss it right at the monster. Her own attack wasn't going to be needed apparently, Viral went right on ahead and let his off first. Watching the erratic shot fly through the air her eyes widened in surprise as it slammed into the back of the creature, clearly catching it off guard. From the distance they were at she couldn't make out the damage, in part too because of the dust kicked up. One thing was very much clear however, and that was the rubble was beginning to fall onto the beast. Even from this distance they could hear a furious roar as boulder after boulder tumbled down, striking the beast in succession. It didn't take long for the rock slide to overwhelm it, and within moments they lost sight of the monster as it was buried beneath the debris. The deafening tumbling carried on for a few seconds longer, until the mountain peak had quite literally melted away. When it was over it looked like someone had lopped off the top, and all of it was now strewn down one side of the mountain. Somewhere under all that rubble too was the creature, though she couldn't see so much a single strand of fur.

Yumi figured it was finally through, letting out an exhausted sigh before sagging in her stance slightly. She was sore and winded as all hell, Viral apparently had a broken or dislocated arm and some head trauma, but they had won. Not a very clean victory seeing as she'd been knocked out, but in the end it had worked in their favor. With a small smile she turned then to her friend, her eyes settling on his arm with concern. "I can fix that if you want..." she offered, looking up to Viral's face kindly. "And maybe find something to cover your head wound. Want to sit down and I can take care of those?" She wasn't sure if she could fly right now, so they would have to walk back. Obviously having any substantial wounds right now was going to make the already long trek quite uncomfortable.

"I'll be careful, don't worry," Takeshi said, smiling a little as Shu moved himself closer. Going to put his hands on his brother's head he paused when the younger boy spoke again, the color draining from his face a bit. "Er... Uh... I guess...?" Ugh, that was really nasty. If Shu wanted to do it though then who was he to say no? Suddenly the idea of simply picking bits and pieces off of his brother didn't seem so off putting by comparison. After settling his own stomach the Saiyan went about carefully combing his fingers through Shu's hair, surprised at how thick and knotted it was. After getting his fingers stuck once or twice he gave up on combing through, just parting it with his fingers instead. This was just odd, he couldn't find a single bit of attraction to this activity. Must be a monkey thing, he mused, wrinkling his nose as he pulled a small leaf from his sibling's dirty mane. "Didn't you have a lot of fruit...? Why do you need bugs too...?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Still that hungry?"

With everything pretty much having gone their way the family was elated at this point. Tesuga was going to live, their home was safe, and to a lesser extent they had repaid those who had helped them. It was evident that the youngest of the family was quite enamored with the travelers, focusing namely on the largest one for now. The other two, the father noted, seemed to be cleaning themselves. A little odd, he'd never seen any other species do it. The elder of the two looked rather discomforted by what he was doing, but the younger was about as happy as his son right now. Hearing T'charrl speak the alien looked back over to him, smiling proudly at the fact he enjoyed his reward. "Keep safe, yes? Keep safe, it keep you safe. Lucky charm," he said again, giving a nod of his head.

Tesuga was all giggles and cheer right now, and for good reason. It hadn't been said directly, or even at all, but his friend would be returning some day. All of them, he hoped, and maybe even more. They were so strong, and nice, he couldn't wait to spend more time with them. Getting a patting the little creature giggled, releasing the leg and patting his own head before beaming up at T'charrl. "Wait for friend! Long time, maybe, but wait! Show other friends too!" All of their tribe should get to meet these three. Now THEY deserved to be called gods, they had certainly done enough to earn it. Not that Tesuga even really knew what a god was anyways, aside from someone that was big and strong, and thus these three fit the bill. Of course he couldn't well imagine any of them taking control of anything, they didn't seem to want any of that. Which made them very good people. "When back, we play! Food too, and explore! Show everyone nice people!"
Yumi was fairly lost as to exactly what was going on. One moment she had been blasted out of the air, and the next thing she could recall was lying on the ground, feeling like she had been crushed. No way had an energy attack done that to her, which meant something else had gone on. Had she blacked out? It was the only thing that made sense. Seeing all of the wounds on the creature common sense told her that Viral had inflicted all of the damage while she was out, a fact she was rather happy to see. So he had been putting up a good fight, that was great. Right now wasn't a time to celebrate, they had to get moving. An impromptu avalanche would certainly spell the end of them if they didn't get out of the way, and so ignoring her own discomfort Yumi raced across the room, grabbing Viral out of his mech before flying off as swiftly as she could. Landing on a nearby flat peak she suggested they finish the battle now, only for Viral to push her away and tell her to do it herself. Seeing him holding his arm she frowned, stepping closer and reaching out to help.

"What happened? Is your arm broken...?" Yumi asked worriedly, frowning. She had no recollection of what had happened, or her botched attempt to fix her friend's dislocated shoulder. When had that happened? Looking back towards the temple she watched for a moment as the creature continued to blast away debris, making it seem easy with how it was clearing the mess. They had to do something, it was so close to being beaten. Looking back at Viral hopefully she bit her lip, trying to get him to his feet by grabbing his good arm. "Please, you've got to help. I don't have a lot of energy left in me either, I can't do it alone." For whatever reason she felt absolutely spent, like she had unleashed a good portion of her energy. "Maybe if I can give you some of my energy then you can use that mech again? Surely you'd be able to beat it if you can get off a good shot, right?"

Takeshi squirmed a bit where he sat, trying not to grimace in front of Shu for having eaten the bug. The thought of doing just that grossed him out, he couldn't help but imagine it wiggling down his throat, the little spindly legs poking and prodding as it slid down. Looking down at himself for a moment the Saiyan meticulously checked his clothes for any more bugs, exhaling in relief when he found none. When he glanced back up he was a bit surprised to find Shu so close to him, asking this time if he could be groomed. Glancing at his brother he made note of all the dirt and clutter that was on his person, not having the faintest idea even where to begin. He knew this entire thing was going to be a bad idea, and now here he was being put on the spot. After a moment of struggle Takeshi finally relented, breathing out through his nose before nodding and gesturing for Shu to sit down. "Fine, fine, I'll do it," he replied, immediately giving his little brother a stern glance. "But I am NOT eating anything, I don't care if I find even normal food on you. So long as we're cool with that then I'll do it, deal?"

"Earn, yours now," the father reaffirmed, smiling happily. Grabbing Tesuga he pulled the younger alien to his side, hugging him before looking back up at T'charrl. "Save son, more important, owe much. That small compared to Tesuga, so sure. Be happy if you take." It was a valuable item, and yet it still seemed like such an insignificant reward for what had been done. In a way too the father felt as though his entire community owed thanks, as sooner or later one of their children would have been whisked away as well. Their entire peoples owed debt to these three, and just one singular heirloom hardly was sufficient. Yet as uncertain as T'charrl was to take but one item he figured offering more wouldn't sit very well with the Kaesstrian. "Good luck, item is, charm. Help me and family, it bring you three. Now it help you."

Tesuga slipped out of his father's grip, and with a happy giggle toddled back over to T'charrl, hugging his leg again. "Papa like friend! Mama like friend! Friend happy!" he exclaimed, looking up with a bright, joyful gaze. "Friend get present! Friend show mama when home, yes?" He had to wonder how large his new friend's parents must be, all three of them. They were so tall, so much more so than any of his family or kin, so their own families must be massive. Maybe not as big as their god, but they had to be big anyways. The idea of seeing a ton of big aliens like T'charrl walking around excited Tesuga to no end. "Meet family sometime! See again, play! Friends play!"
Viral's massive blast had done quite a number on the creature, all but incapacitating it. Bleeding fair heavily from a vital spot it would either have to finish the battle now or flee, and running wasn't very tasteful. With its temple destroyed already there was little reason to hold back any longer, yet summing up the strength to extinguish these pests was proving difficult. More than trying to focus its power into attacks the creature instead was trying to mend its wounds, using energy to close it up quicker. While it worked it only did marginally so, enough to stop the bleeding from becoming fatal at least. Still ragged of breath and in a fair bit of agony there wasn't a whole lot it would do otherwise. Both it and Viral looked to be out of it, getting to a race as to who would die first at this rate. The creature had absolutely no intentions of winning that race. "What... What are you planning?" it asked, giving the Beastman an uneasy look. That sounded awfully suicidal, nothing was worse than fighting an opponent willing to die. Expecting another blast when the crest on Enki lit up the creature blocked, confused instead when the shot missed entirely. Thinking it was a fluke at first the true intent soon became obvious as rocks began to crumble, the entire peak of the mountain crying out in protest as it began to give way. So this was what Viral had meant, he intended to bury them both alive! "I'll not allow you to do this!" the creature roared, lifting its head up and gathering energy in its mouth. With a mass of rubble coming down it fired off a strong beam, disintegrating a large portion of it. More came however, and continued to come, each wave it tried to meet with an attack to protect itself.

The shattering of a mountain was enough to rouse Yumi, and the sight she was greeted with put her on high alert immediately. Danger was an understatement, they were waiting to die just sitting here. The creature looked to be preoccupied, which meant they could escape now and leave it here. Not the most satisfying end, but it was better than them dying. Hardly having the rage-fueled strength as she did a moment ago she got to her feet, groaning at how sore her body was from being compacted. Running to Viral nevertheless she looked at the hatch of the Enki, and with a soft apology opened it right up. They had to go, there was no room for debate, not that she'd hear it anyways. Grabbing Viral carefully by both arms, not knowing one was dislocated, she lifted him up and out, slinging one of his arms over her shoulders as she held his side. Using her Ki yet again she shot off of the ground, flying away from the ruined temple and towards an adjacent cliff face where they would be well out of the way of the rock slide. After nearly collapsing when she sat her friend down Yumi looked back, seeing the creature still trying to handle damage control. They might have a way to end this now, if they could pull it off. As drained as she was though, and seeing the state Viral was in, they only could try this once. Leaning over with her hands on her knees she smiled tightly, trying to stave off the oncoming exhaustion. "Hey... Know what might really ruin his day...?" she asked, looking over at Viral impishly, "If we blasted him right now."

Takeshi was trying with every fiber of his being not to pull away from Shu right now. Grooming in the sense he knew it was fine, like taking a shower or even combing or brushing your hair. That was normal, people did that. What his brother was doing was just plain weird. Having someone meticulously plucking at his scalp like this just felt awkward, he couldn't understand why Shu enjoyed it so much. It wasn't even like he was the one being groomed, and yet he was elated nevertheless. As peculiar as the entire situation was it paled in comparison to what happened when the young Saiyan found a... Treat. At first Takeshi tried to pretend he didn't hear Shu, wanting to think he was being fresh. However when the young boy bounced off he had to turn to look, eyes widening spotting a black critter in Shu's grasp. When the little Saiyan ate the bug then Takeshi turned a light shade of green, covering his mouth before leaping to his feet. "Y-You... Ate it...!" he stammered, lowering his hand and pointing at Shu amazed. Then, in a moment of recognition he looked up towards his hair, and with an unintelligible sound quickly frazzled his own hair, trying to knock free anything else that might be crawling around in there. When nothing came out he let out a sigh, dropping onto his backside and looking at Shu with a starry eyed, disbelieving expression. "You ate it... And you have no idea what it was..." As Saiyans they ate a ton of food, hardly ever thinking twice about what precisely it might be. But that, eating that alien bug, that was just nasty.

"Take home...? Present?" the father mused, lifting a claw to scratch at his head. So he wanted something to show off, like a trophy of sorts. Trophies, at least as far as their people were concerned, were typically confiscated weapons or relics that they acquired when defeating another group. Considering the nature of the relics though, being of their questionable god, he wasn't so sure this one would enjoy that. Smiling at an idea however the small creature nodded his head, disappearing into his den quickly for a moment. Inside he rummaged through the several small rooms, searching hastily for an item he figured would well be worthwhile. After some digging he managed to stumble across it, and fetching a small cloth he wrapped it up, carrying it back outside with him. Smiling up at T'charrl he walked on over, holding it up politely for the Kaesstrian to take it. "From battle, special. Unique, few. Expensive too. But you have, yours, earn it." Inside was a small charm of sorts, crafted out of a rare hard-stone found in very few places on the planet. Rectangular in shape, it had a few indentations carved into either side, symmetrical in that regard. A lighter shade of stone trim ran along the edges as well, a result of whittling down the rock until the darker surface had vanished. Along the middle were engravings, markings that read 'good fortune'. "Family treasure. Find many years ago, father's father. Give father, he good warrior. Give me, good life. Now you, good life too, yes?"
Yumi tried her best initially to keep herself from being crushed, running on pure instinct right now. Try as she might to push the hand open however she didn't have good enough leverage or room to get anything moving, she was more or less cut off. As the pressure gradually build up she could feel her body straining against the forces, doing everything in her power to keep from popping like a bug. Using Ki was helping a little, she managed to emit a bit of her energy around her almost like a second skin, managing to alleviate some of the giant's grip. There was still not enough room to get free however, and with each passing second the pain became worse. Miraculously nothing had broken, but it was still agonizing enough, feeling like one's own body was going to implode in on itself. Crying out in pain just as her chest felt like it might be crushed the beast abruptly loosened his grip, his hands retracting from her and letting her fall to the ground haplessly. Landing with a thud Yumi let out another pained whimper, breathing heavily as she tried to recover from the lack of oxygen as best she could. The crushing might be over but her body was still very much sore, she'd need a moment to get herself together again.

The creature might have been absolutely livid were it not in utter pain right now. It had been on the verge of slaying the female only to have Viral come back into the fray and deal a rather nasty blow. Hitting the less well protected back of the beast the Enki's attack had done more than just sear skin this time. Not only did it burn away fur, but flesh, creating a visible and rather painful wound just beneath the right shoulder blade. A dark gash of good size now sat exposed, blood freely dripping out and into the fur as well as onto the tiled ground. Roaring with an earth shattering volume the creature fell to one knee, going to try and cover the wound before thinking better of it, knowing there wasn't much it could do. It would heal, yet that would take some time, and certainly not during combat. Panting from the pain it looked over its shoulder at the tarnished Enki, eyes burning brightly with hatred for Viral right now. "You... You damned alien...!" it roared, turning itself around and trying to grab at the Beastman, only to nearly fall forward as it extended the wound more and caused blood to spill out. Gasping painfully the giant fell to its hands and knees, looking at Viral with a profound loathing all the same. "I'll kill both of you. I'm not giving you any more chances to escape!"

"But I... I don't get mad that often!" Takeshi said, sounding a little perturbed. Realizing he'd only just proven his brother's point he sighed, crossing his arms and looking off to the side stubbornly, pursing his lips. He had stayed calm through that entire fight, too frazzled and pretty clueless to have any time to get angry. Like it or not too his brother was right, he did get mad pretty often, and often times over silly things. Changing the subject to grooming of all things the older boy could hardly believe it himself when he agreed to the proposal. Chalking it up to being too indifferent at the moment he sat on the ground, waiting a bit nervously for Shu to do his thing. He couldn't see his brother now, but he could most certainly feel him. It was quite strange, feeling Shu's little hands digging through his hair and prodding at his scalp. Feeling his face heat up in embarrassment Takeshi looked down at the ground, his hands in his lap as he rubbed his thumbs together idly. "Well... First time for everything right?" he mused, managing a slight smile as he shifted his eyes back towards Shu. "Besides, I don't think you'll find anything. So what's the harm in it?"

"Mama and papa okay, yes?" Tesuga looked back at his parents for confirmation, getting encouraging looks from both of them. This trio of travelers was quite clearly friendly, so it didn't surprise him they were allowing this. Not that he'd had any issue being near them before it was okay anyways. Hearing T'charrl's reply to playing got him a little disheartened for a moment, having hoped they could play some games. The problem resolved itself with the last bit of what his friend said though, a smile creeping over the child's face. With an excited giggle he latched onto the Kaesstrian's leg, and being mindful of his claws began to shimmy his way up the alien's leg, trying to climb on him like a plant. He got about to T'charrl's knee before his father pulled him off, whining in annoyance while flailing a bit. "Papa no! Play! Climb!" Being set on his feet he let out a huff, crossing his arms and dropping down onto his backside stubbornly.

The father set his son down, smiling exasperatedly when he started to pout and sulk. "Sorry, very friendly. Like anyone, friends a lot." he explained, giving Tesuga's head a small rubbing before looking up at T'charrl. "Thank again, can't thank more. Food? Anything? Repay, yes? Owe sons life, debt to you." In a society where people were awfully close and worked with one another it was a social standard to repay those who helped you. Often it was just helping to find food, or make an addition to a home, minor things. Saving the life of a loved one though, that was on an entirely different spectrum. Nothing that he could think of as a reward seemed adequate enough. "Anything want? We find, or make, just say."
Yumi, normally tender and at least somewhat patient with Viral was now struggling not to scream at him to get moving. Noting the dislocated limb when he mentioned it she wasn't at all pleased with the sight. Not so much because she was worried about her friend's pain, but because he was going to make fighting harder for her. So when he told her to pop it back into place she was more than willing to oblige. Holding him steady with one hand she grabbed hold of his shoulder, and with a focused look on her face carefully popped it right back in, using a fair bit of pressure to do so. When it was settled she let go of Viral, turning around and squatting, staring up at the creature as he was still trying to deal with his inhibited sight to find them. "Hide... Or fight... Don't sit there," she snarled, straining to keep animosity out of her voice. "Help me kill it... Fix your machine..." Talking was a waste of time as long as the creature was standing. With Viral seen to she began to run on all fours again towards the lumbering giant, snarling angrily as she approached. Seeing him raise a foot as if to squash her she jumped into the air, grabbing hold of it and using it as a platform to spring up further, landing at its waist. Again she made use of her hands as weapons, this time though making as big a gash as she could on its abdomen with her hands by leaping up and dragging them down along its skin. It was enough to irritate the beast, and again she had to leap away to avoid being grabbed.

Dealing with Viral was easy, he was fairly helpless once in the air. Yumi was another thing however with her ability to fly, it made grabbing her a great deal more difficult. Missing a swipe in the air he turned again on his feet, firing off a succession of weaker yet faster shots to try and knock her out of the sky. One missed, then a second and third, but the fourth managed to find its target. Watching as the female was sent to the grounds as a result the creature made a quick pace over towards her, not wanting to give her a single moment to recuperate. Reaching down he managed to grab a hold of the dazed Beastman, crapping his massive hand around her as he lifted her up to eye level, smiling smugly. Not wasting any breath in taunting he curled his other hand around the first, beginning to squeeze the girl in his grasp. At first she only snarled and snapped at him, but soon those noises changed to faint whimpers, and ultimately screams of pain as she tried to keep her body from giving in under the immense weight. This seemed a fitting end for her, and once she was gone it would be the creatures leisure to deal with Viral.

"Heh... Please, it'll take more than this to stop me from fighting," Takeshi said, smirking a bit as he moved his hand. He was going to go on until Shu said something that made him stop for a second before frowning, his cheeks flushing a little bit. "What do you mean 'What I usually do'? What's that supposed to mean?" How did he usually fight? Maybe he was a little eager to get into things, but that wasn't really bad, was it? "It wasn't too hard, I guess," he continued, getting a little smile back. "They're hard to catch though, and their skin is really tough. I had to use my sword just to hurt them, my punches and Ki didn't do anything at all." Except for cause discomfort and annoyance on his part. It was pretty lucky he just happened to have that blade with him too, otherwise he would have just been uselessly flailing about the whole time trying to find a weakness that didn't exist.

Takeshi had no issues with doing something with Shu, he was always quite happy to spend time with his brother. That was at least until the younger boy voiced his idea, grooming. It had never exactly been something that appealed to the older boy too much. Quite the opposite, he'd often found it strange and off-putting even. However, seeing Shu standing there looking all hopeful at the prospect, and his side pretty sore right now he couldn't think of much else to do. Letting out a soft sigh then Takeshi nodded his head, sitting down cross-legged before Shu and smiling up at him exasperatedly. "I guess we can do that, if you really want to," he replied, shrugging his shoulders before holding a hand out. "But, don't expect me to eat anything I might find. And... Er... Please don't eat anything you find on me..." He doubted there would be anything on either of them after all, they had just recently showered and weren't exactly rolling around in filth here.

"Food other place! We get more, yes! Mama and papa find later!" Tesuga said, smiling brightly as he clapped his claws together. Seeing T'charrl eat the food and appear to like it made him very happy, it meant his friend liked the same kind of foods. Making a happy squeal sound the alien moved closer, hugging the Kaesstrian's leg for a moment before wrinkling his nose and backing off. Looking up for a second he then sneezed, becoming unbalanced in the process and tumbling over. Giggling happily Tesuga carefully adjusted himself, getting back onto his feet and rubbing at his snout. "Friend make Tesuga sneeze! Sneezy friend!" he chimed, dancing a little on his feet. When the sniffling sensation subsided he went over to T'charrl again, minding his snout as he tried to grab at one of the visitor's hands. "Play? Or more food? Have more, eat! We eat too!" He was just rather hopeful to do something with one of his friends, only rarely getting to play with other children.
Yumi had only begun to let out her anger unto the creature, she wasn't satisfied yet. Not until it was dead, only then would she relent and stop attacking it. Her plan to draw attention away from Viral seemed to be working, not that she was in the state of mind to even recognize that. All that raced through her thoughts right now was killing her opponent by any means necessary. Her few attacks and taunts did the trick, soon the massive creature was coming after her, his size towering over her several fold. She hardly cared how large it was, she knew it could be hurt and, with enough effort, slain. When it was close enough to strike at she lunged forward, diving up with a bit of assistance from her flight and going straight for the creature's throat. A large fist came flying her way, and while it hit her she managed to soften the blow a bit, clinging onto the limb then as it swung through the air. Wanting to find a way to inflict pain she stretched out her fingers, using her sharp nails as a substitute for a blade and driving her hand into the exposed flesh of the beast, managing to get almost her whole hand into its skin. That made it roar again in pain, and she took the moment to climb onto the arm, racing up it and gathering a mass of Ki in her hands. Ducking beneath the other hand she jumped up into its face, bringing her hands together and making one massive Ki blast before tossing it at the creature, hitting it directly. Again she was blasted back herself, though she had the mind this time to cover up, managing to stay in the air

"You... You insect!" That blast had been particularly painful, right in the face no less. Covering its wounds again with its hands the creature stumbled about blindly, letting out occasional groans of pain. Its skin felt like it was on fire, and breathing was a little tricky as its lungs were feeling the effects of inhaling burning energy. Finally pulling its hands from its head the creature looked around, its vision blurry from one eye now being swollen shut as a result of its burns. Growling angrily it looked around the area, trying to spot out the female that had done it to him. Evidently it was going to have to do more than just smack them around, which was unfortunate. That would mean its temple was forfeit, but that could be repaired easily enough. Glowering at Yumi the creature stood tall, and after shaking its head to try and reduce some of the pain it opened its mouth, ignoring the searing sensation that came with his burnt flesh being stretched. Like the creature on the ship it began to gather a large amount of dark energy, forming an awfully big orb as it built up. Then, abruptly, it released all of it, firing a massive beam towards Yumi, and the door of the temple.

Yumi stared at the energy tentatively, getting ready to avoid it whenever it was fired. When it was indeed released it came a bit quicker than anticipated, though nonetheless she managed to leap and fly away, dodging the blast as it tore through the temple, ultimately blowing apart the door and the front of it. Now sunlight was all but coating the entire interior, and they were more or less outside. With no support in front the rocks above gave way, and with a great crash began to come down, slamming into the side of the structure and tumbling down the mountain in one hell of an avalanche. Between Yumi's and the creature's blasts the temple was all but obliterated, the sides and back being the only remnants. Turning her focus away from the ruined building around her the Beastman went back on the offensive, throwing yet more Ki in the creature's direction. These attacks were blocked by its arm guards, chipping some away but making no real mark. Yumi's intent wasn't to cause damage however as she flew past the leviathan, going right to where Viral still lay. Landing at his side she got back on all fours, a little relieved to see his eyes open, even if only barely. "Up... Get up..." she said, half growling and half speaking clearly. "You're hurt Viral... Move... Please..."

It was a good thing everyone was safe, apart from the episode towards the end there. For the most part it had all worked out, the only way it would have gone better would have been if they had slain the second monster as well. "Huh...? Oh yeah, I'm fine," Takeshi said, smiling at Shu as he placed an arm across his stomach, his hand resting on his side gingerly. Beneath the shirt his skin was a little torn, a result of the creature's abrasive skin rubbing against him and it managing to get a swipe in. It felt like it was bleeding too, but hardly anything worth calling attention to. He didn't know quite what they should do just yet, figuring that going back to the ship was only going to put them in an awkward situation with the rebels. Shrugging his shoulders then Takeshi looked over at T'charrl and Tesuga, smiling thoughtfully. "We could just relax here for now. You've got a new little friend that might want to play after all."

Tesuga wanted his friends to be happy, after all he was happy. Doing his best to show some gratitude and affection then towards T'charrl, hoping to cheer him up some more. He wasn't sure if it did the trick entirely, but the alien picked himself up after a moment and smiled, which was sign enough he was feeling at least a little better. "Yes, friend, friend! My friend, save me. Friends now!" So many friends today, it was turning out to be a very good day for him. Now that he wasn't going to get eaten too everything was just going his way and it had him absolutely elated. Seeing the cart nearby Tesuga went over to the remaining food, grabbing up one of the larger fruits in his arms before bringing it back over, holding it up as high as he could for T'charrl to take. "Eat friend! Please? Make happy!"
Between the burns and now the cuts the creature was in quite a bit of discomfort. Nowhere near dead, but there was enough done to it that this was no longer just some minor hindrance. Actually eliminating these two was going to take some effort, more than its menial efforts thus far had taken. After being sliced on the cheek the large creature swung a hand out at the mid-air Beastman, smacking him away not unlike a gnat. There was the satisfying sound of metal smashing against the ground upon impact, and it watched as Viral spilled out of his machine, both him and his Enki laying there motionlessly. Now that felt good, it was only a small rebuttal to what had been done thus far though. The creature still was angry at having his nap interrupted, and what's more its meal was nowhere in sight. These two were to blame as far as it was concerned, and he'd subsequently kill and devour both to make up for his lost meal. "So frail... Though I will admit, you can fight." the creature mused, stepping towards Viral and looking down at him thoughtfully. "You might have made an excellent underling, shame you're going to have to die now..." Lifting up one of its feet the creature moved to step down on Viral, coming precariously close to accomplishing its task. Before that happened a large Ki blast slammed into the back of its neck, knocking it forward unsteadily as it tumbled down, missing Viral as it topped across its throne, crushing it and landing awkwardly.

Yumi, who had been watching with trepidation, was now fully vested in the fight. She wanted Viral to have this, so that maybe he'd regain some confidence and self worth. That had been the intent at least, though right now she could scarcely think about that. It was safe to say she couldn't think at all really, her mind was an utter fuzz of anger and fury at the present. After seeing Viral smacked down and his unmoving frame laying there something in her snapped, something that made her quite literally go mental. It was like someone flipped a switch, one second she was standing by silently rooting for her friend and the next she was out for blood. While hovering in mid air she had felt her body lock up for a second before what felt like a sudden rush of heat surged through her, filling her body with a terrifying burst of energy. Her head felt like it might implode, and for a good second she thought she might die from the sudden onset. Her body reacted oddly to the sudden increase of power, a gain of muscle mass making her a little bulkier than before. Her canines also elongated, and her hair spiked up slightly, looking like it was in a permanent state of bristling. If she could think straight then all of this power would do her some serious good, but her thoughts were much too chaotic right now. All she wanted was blood, and to see the creature that hurt Viral dead.

After slamming a perhaps necessarily large Ki blast into the creature's lower neck Yumi made a straight line for Viral, and upon reaching him crouched over him, getting low and holding herself on all fours, glaring up at the fallen behemoth furiously. She was trying to protect her friend right now, and the best way to do that was to slay their enemy. Emitting a throaty growling noise she jumped right at the behemoth, grabbing hold of his fur as he was getting to his feet. Using her Ki to assist her she scaled the back of it, moving right up to the injury on its neck while avoiding grasping hands deftly. When close enough to the wound Yumi clamped on tightly with one hand on the fur, using the other to amass as much Ki as she could in a brief few seconds before throwing it point blank at the same wound. The resulting blast actually managed to knock her off, her grip holding and tearing away a tuft of fur as she was sent flying away. The follow up attack had done what she wanted though, and the skin was now properly pierced and near cooked, looking a sickly black at this point. The roar of pain the creature admitted was awfully satisfying too, it had been well worth it. Landing on all fours again she let out an almost roar of her own, challenging the creature to come after her. It wasn't going to hurt Viral any more, she'd kill it long before that could happen.

Takeshi wanted to offer a rebuttal to that, but figured it would be a bit off color. He'd like to say he'd seen his friend near eat his mother, how could it be worse than that? Safe bet though that was a fresh wound, and something T'charrl would just as soon forget. Instead then he'd leave it alone, letting the Kaesstrian calm down with a moment to himself perhaps, whatever worked. With the emergence of Shu and the natives there were things to cover now too, namely what they were going to do at this point. They couldn't be sure if the creature that had gotten away would come back or not, or if there might even be more. That didn't seem to be a total concern for the natives right now however, they were enjoying the victory for the time being. Nonetheless it was a potential danger they couldn't ignore, and Shu shared that sentiment. "Oh... Oh no, no I don't want anything," Takeshi said quickly, shaking his head and waving his hands. He wasn't trying to look like a good guy by refusing a reward or anything, there was just really nothing he'd hoped to get out of this. A chance to use his sword maybe, albeit that had hardly gone the way he had hoped. "If more come...? Yeah, we'll be fine Shu, don't worry," the older boy added, rubbing at his sore torso absentmindedly. "We beat them once and we can again if we have to."

Tesuga had a basic grasp on the situation, knowing only that he had been in danger and now apparently he wasn't. They had his friend's brother and the other alien to thank, and his father was being quite open about his gratitude. Smiling cheerfully at how it all worked out the little critter looked over at T'charrl, his smile wavering slightly seeing the forlorn Kaesstrian lying there. Wondering what was wrong Tesuga started to go over, clasping his hands together nervously as he approached. This one was bigger than the others, and he looked like he could really hurt someone. Nevertheless he had helped, that deserved some thanks. Stopping when he was next to T'charrl's head the little alien reached out, patting his savior's head with a little claw as he smiled hopefully. "Happy, win. Safe now, because of you. Thank you." Moving a bit closer Tesuga then awkwardly hugged T'charrl's shoulder, giving a happy squeak before letting go and smiling again. "Friend too? Like friend!"
"I don't need to do any more to defeat you," the creature offered in rebuttal. It needed only a single good strike to get its way, that much was made evident early on. It was easier said than done of course, Viral was awfully quick and agile in his Enki. If it could just pin down the Beastman and keep him from running about then the speed wouldn't be an issue. To that end the creature tried to ensnare the alien in its grip, using both massive hands to cut off routes of escape. Something was going to be cut, but it wasn't going to be Viral's way out. In a manner much too quick to react to the alien began to spin around, his blades extended out to his sides. By the time the creature realized what was going on his hands had each been sliced, making him retract them quickly and hold them up in the air in safety. Two or three gashes were on each palm now, a thick purple ooze slipping out from the injuries. There was no time to cry over its injuries, Viral was far from finished. Watching as the Beastman then sprung up into the air the creature raised its arms to block the attack, shielding its injured chest with its plated forearms. The swords clattered against the stone, not quite slicing through but steadily whittling away at it. Lifting its arms the creature deflected Viral away, yet not before catching a sword to its face, getting a nice big cut along its right cheek. Growling angrily it reached up at the now airborne Viral, trying to swat him to the ground with one good strong smack.

"It can't happen if you don't let it though, right?" Takeshi replied, smiling hopefully. "You just got to do your best to keep control." That seemed a pretty common problem with their group as a whole. T'charrl and Viral with their powers, Shu as well, himself with his anger. Everyone had something that could run away from them, something that was a sort of Achilles heel. An awful lot to overcome, and with no one really around to help them they were pretty much on their own too. Trying not to be too disheartened by the fact however Takeshi made his way over to the den, calling for his brother and the aliens to come out. No reason to keep hiding if the creatures were gone, and perhaps this way they could get some idea on this god of theirs too. Yumi and Viral should be en route to fight the thing right now, so anything they could learn was going to be quite handy. Smiling at Shu as he emerged the older boy moved to the side, watching as the father came out after Shu, followed by his wife and their son. It was a job well done all in all, they had protected the kid and driven off the creatures. Hopefully for good too, he'd hate to think of what may happen if they should come back when none of them were around to help.

Takeshi shook his head at what T'charrl had to say, not quite buying into it. Sure he had managed to get a few good pokes in, but he was hardly efficient. What had he really managed to injure anyways, some wild animal? A lot of good that was going to do him in a real battle. All he'd done is stabbed the creature, not exactly an intricate display of swordsmanship. Not wanting to mull over his own shortcomings the Saiyan took one last look around the area, a little wary for the moment still now that they had the child out in the open. It all looked clear though, so they should be okay. "We think they're gone, for now at least. One of them is dead, and the other one is pretty close to that, so they shouldn't bother you anymore."

"Safe... Real safe? Sure?" the father asked, taking his turn to look around the area. Lifting his head up he gave the air a careful sniffing, just to be sure. There was the faint stench of one of the Dural, but it was fading gradually, almost like it was vanishing. He could even tell one had retreated and in which direction, that and it was far away now. So they were truly safe, and more importantly Tesuga was truly safe. Acknowledging this with a smile he nodded his head, looking over at T'charrl and Takeshi and bowing his head. "Thanks, thanks many. Safe son, live still, best reward. Thank enough, give something, I swear."
