Bump.
Coolio, I'll get something up tonight. Or tomorrow.
I prefer threads.
Yep. ^^;
Great great. I can start, probably get something up tonight, I have to finish making dinner and do a few other things.

Otherwise if you'd like to do it tomorrow, that's also fine with me.
Got something up.
Hermione found some chicken breasts and decided to season and cook them up, maybe add some cheese and pasta and make some sort of Italian chicken parmesan of some sort. She took hold of her tea as she found most of the things she was looking for. She could easily pop out to the store and get some more groceries but she really didn't feel like going out into the world and making idle conversation with strangers at the check-out line. She looked up when she thought she heard someone. Of course it wouldn't be someone, it would be Remus. While she was a great student of his in the past, and while she had deduced that he was a werewolf, they were still on odd terms.

The girl was no longer a kid anymore, war changed everyone and everything. And yet, the two hadn't really had any formal conversations. Not about the boring bleak weather or anything else like that. They couldn't avoid each other forever. She stepped back over to the oven as she put some chicken which she had seasoned, in a frying pan. She could easily tend to the pasta at the last minute with magic to get the water boiling. The sauce on the other hand, was her next objective. "I'm making extra, if you're hungry." Hermione called out. There was little point in trying to make less for herself. Remus needed to eat as much as she did, after all.

The woman was quick to give him useful information, before he was about to head off and do some exploring of his own, the girl stopped him. There was something odd about her but he couldn't really figure out what. In his mind, he could just be thrown off by the spontaneous crash. The girl could be no trouble at all. Then again, he was the Doctor and trouble and him went hand in hand. "Me?" The Doctor asked, not sure if he had met her before. It was possible. He had met children in their youths but being a time traveler, the way he met people was sometimes difficult. He sometimes met people before they met him. It was very complicated but still very fun. "Well I know I'm me. But I'm not sure I know who you are." He said to her.

"So you know I'm the Doctor...have we met before?" He asked her. "I'm sorry, sometimes I meet people in other forms or during other events." He told her. It was good to know he had a potential friend, it was much better than finding out he had enemies. Of course, he had plenty of those. But while his ship recuperated, he would need to find something to do, someone to help. For now the only lead he had was the young blond woman. She didn't look familiar to him but he couldn't deny that he felt something different about her. She was human, no doubt there. So what was it? The Doctor wasn't sure but he often enjoyed tackling mysteries. This one could content him until he could travel again.
The patient followed behind her when she headed to the nurse's station. Anabelle went to filling out some of her own forms and looking over test results for others as the other nurse tried to get information from Kieran. Ana headed off to another room to go talk to the others who needed her attention. She spoke to a doctor about some of the results and by the time she headed back to the station, it seemed things were wrapping up. By the look of things, both people were a bit fed up with the push and pull of the conversation. It could be a tricky topic to cover, some people didn't have insurance but could pay, while others didn't and couldn't pay. It was tough to see but there wasn't a lot the staff could do. The system was awfully flawed but people did their best to heal and make it efficient, as well as cost efficient.

"I think we have everything we need for now." Ana spoke up. "We have your number in case we need to get a hold of you. We can get you a payment statement at the office downstairs. I'll be right back." She told her friend and motioned for Kieran to follow her to the elevator so they could get a receipt and make sure that the payment would be valid, whenever it may be. "There are options, you can pay a little each moth with low interest." Anabelle commented as they stepped into the elevator and descended. Once there was a ding, the metal doors slid open and she stepped out and led the boy down a white hallway. At the end, there was a window where a small line had formed.

"So this is where you can drop off payments and make sure things are paid off on time." She informed him. "If they don't...well...you don't want people coming after you." Ana smiled a little. "Anyway, if you need to call a cab, you can ask for one at the front desk." She said and looked back over her shoulder. "It's where we got out but instead of going right, you go left." He probably could figure out. "Good luck." Ana smiled and headed back down the hall. Her pager hadn't gone off but that didn't mean she didn't have to be somewhere else. She had two more hours left on her shift and she was already looking forward to getting out of her scrubs and getting into a relaxing hot bath. From the sounds of it, the rain was starting to let up, which was better than there still being a messy storm.

The fact she didn't realize was alarming. People in their position had to be self aware of everything around them, as well as themselves. Devon removed his pack and sat down, it was mossy and muddy but he wasn't too picky at the moment. His feet could rest and that was good enough for him. If he needed anything, he was capable of offering labor services in exchange for housing or food or medical supplies. Ideally, he'd want to use his magic to offer in exchange for such things but he had to be more selective if he wanted to be safe and avoid any unnecessary fights.

As he made another mental checklist as to what he had on him, he heard the girl thank him. While he wasn't keen on getting close to reckless people, his heart went out to her, but only so far. "Good luck." He said as he went back to rummaging through his pack. He was quick to shut his power off so he didn't invade her mind though it was hard to do when they were focused on one another. Devon could tell her temper had subsided but was still evident. "Just try to find a way relax, the more relaxed and calm you are, the better chance you have of seeing the bigger picture around you and where you fit into it." He advised.

Thankfully, he could make the bread he got last a while, if need be. The boy took a deep breath, already debating whether or not to extend an open arm to the girl. She was trouble and reminded him of home. He didn't want to babysit someone or council them on their troubles, the present was too messy without the past getting involved. Still, he felt a connection to her through their magical blood. "If you need anything, you can come find me. I may not stay here long but it doesn't hurt to have a someone close by who you can rely upon." Devon said as he set his pack aside and rubbed his face. He had yet to find a place to bathe so he decided he could look for water or someone who could help him. Surely there had to be a river or pond somewhere.
You can do the honors when you're off your table. No worries.
Hermione's relationship with Luna Lovegood had improved. While Luna had her quirks, Hermione had begun to see bits of herself in the younger blond student. Hermione was often seen as an outcast when she was being raised at home, surrounded by muggles. The bookworm could understand Luna and she was finding it much easier to talk about personal issues and the two could even come together and help provide the school with a newsletter, it could give people comfort but also shed some new light on the new era upon them.

As they headed out, Harry mentioned Snape and how there hadn't been much closure between them. It was true, the three of them had a rocky relationship with the difficult Potions Master. Even so, his heart had been good, just as his intentions were. Hermione was sure that Harry would be alright, given time. "I know, I've heard rumors that the House is becoming divided, those who still remain loyal to Voldemort and those who want to move on." She frowned. "We can't pick a side, as much as we want to. The war is over and it's hard for some people to accept." But she had a feeling Draco wasn't having a hard time in the regard, as much of a git as he was, she didn't sense that he was a fighter.

The pair headed down to get something to eat. While she and Harry had been offered Head Boy and Head Girl positions, they accepted them with tentative regard. While the girl understood the reasoning, she knew that her work load would be pretty tough to handle. It was her last year and she wanted to make the most of it. She and the other Head Boys and Girls of the other hours, along with the Professors, would try to meet and settle and disagreements. So far things were going as expected. There were some fights breaking out but people were making progress, even if it was slow.

The Ministry was keeping an eye to ensure people behaved and while it was meant to be a positive thing, Hermione couldn't shake the feeling of eyes being on her when she walked through the halls of her school. "Have you written to Ron?" She asked, suddenly changing the subject as they entered the Great Hall. The smell of food made her think of him. "I was going to send him a letter tonight to tell him how things are going." Hermione mentioned as she took a seat. "I've been so busy, he's already sent me four letters and I have yet to get back to him. I feel awful." Though awful was overstating it, she felt guilty but it wasn't for the typical reasons.

Draco looked up when Luna approached. Many of the students were clearing out for the night but Draco felt no haste to follow suit so he stayed where he was. He alias was Hogwarts Muse, he wanted something cooler, more exciting but it was quickly evident as to who would be writing to students if he used a name like Blond Snake or Silver Tongued King or something of that nature. Draco was trying to make the best of a weird situation. It wasn't easy for him by any means, but he knew it wasn't easy for anyone around him.

Normally he'd shrug his shoulders and say that how other people felt, wasn't really his concern or problem. But now that things had changed, he couldn't rely on the same old outlook on life. People actually mattered and so did their opinions, as boring as some of them could be. Luna set her things down and gave him a simple greeting. "Yeah, most of them just left." He replied to her question. He found it was obvious and that she needed to ask but he was doing his best to be polite and not say the first things that popped into his head. It would take time to shed the many masks he wore, mostly for his own sake.

The blond carried on and mentioned that they could not only use the articles for the paper at the school, but that her father could produce them as he might for the Quibbler. That was interesting. The school was still trying to get supplies and machines for them but the first paper may not be as polished as they'd like. Many of them were under the impression that they would have to use normal paper until they were given supplies. This was good news, it would make the paper look more well-put together and Draco did think that appearances did matter. "That's great to hear, Luna." He told her flatly.

He realized his tone was a bit poor so he attempted a smile to make up for his response. He had friends, Crabbe and Goyle but they were more pawns, than friends. They didn't have long talks into the night about goals and future. They didn't loan each other clothing or whatever it was that mates did for one another. Making friends wasn't something he was good at, if he was, he and Harry would have been close in their first year, and not bitter rivals. "I guess we should finalize everything and get them to him. Does he need sort of money...?" He began to ask. While his funds were limited, he did want to help and he was sure most expected his help to be in monetary form.
