I was so mad to see Leekie go. I really liked him. That's my only issue with the season. I still don't ship Cosima and Delphine but whatevers.

Alright, I'll get my post up soon. Hopefully you can do the same so we don't lost the mojo. I guess season 3 just started, I haven't watched it but maybe I'll binge watch it when it's over.
Thanks. I did go on another interview today, had to walk all the way across town in the heat, only to see I could have taken a free bus to it. >___> I was so happy to have today to write but now I'm tired. I am working on a post though. Just later than I wanted to.
The cuffs coming off were a major improvement to her day, that was for sure. Emma rubbed them tenderly but no harm had befallen her so she was more than happy to get moving. Being contained was not something she enjoyed and there would be hell to pay, that was certain. "I am interested." She told Erik smoothly. "While you nearly killed me, I can at least commend you for your strength and determination. Charles and his posse never stood out to me, just annoyances." She shrugged. She still couldn't penetrate his mind but she knew that trusting him would be foolish. For now, they just had to remain useful to the other person.

Of course Emma couldn't help but bring up his issue of loyalty. She knew what he did to Shaw. She didn't care about Shaw, not anymore. Still, she needed to be aware that if she left him, that it would be on her terms. The last thing she wanted was to make an enemy out of Erik. She just wanted to know that her siding with him was mutual and not at all due to some form of blackmail or threat. "If we join forces, we're equals. Shaw's downfall was his inability to trust in people and while I am sure you have your own demons to deal with, you should know that I don't like to play games with people. I am not your puppet to boss around. I've had enough of that already." She told him.
They trolled me hard. I won't forgive them for that.

We can probably leave Asami and Mako aside for now, since Korra, Lin, Tenzin and co, and Bolin are starting to dine.

We wanted Lin and Pema to sort of bury the hatchet near the end, with Tenzin walking Lin home, even after she has her powers restored by Korra? And Bolin would mention becoming an officer right?
Kieran was trying to get to his point and Anabelle was curious but trying to keep her distance, her guard up.

He began to recount what happened. He mentioned he was hurt, badly hurt. And that he hadn't gone to the hospital, which from the sounds of it, was somehow out of the way. Of course the question of calling for help came to mind. A cell phone could have easily helped transport him from one place to another while doctors and medics worked to keep him stable. Before she could voice her questions, they were interrupted by the arrival of their food. The wave of confusion blew by quick as she began to eat, though not too fast, the food was hot and she was with someone, she didn't want to be rude.

The boy began to speak again and she set down her fork and sat up a bit more. His tone remained just as serious as before and the waves of uneasy emotions came back over her. Something was off. He told her that he knew people like her. What did he mean by that? He then began to ramble, a series of questions tumbling off the edge of his lips as she found her stomach begin to churn. She felt sick. Her every instinct was telling her to leave, get up and run away. A healer wasn't known for enjoying confrontations or negative emotions.

Ana always thought she was just passive by choice, not by nature.

He calmed himself and mustered an apology. "I um..." Her mind was still spinning, trying to dissect what he was going on about. What she did? Did he know other nurses? Or did he mean people who had weird abilities? She felt guilty all over again. Her mother would be furious with her. She licked her lips and quickly took a big drink of tea, trying to collect herself. "I don't-I-I." She didn't know if she could trust him, or if she even should. Her first response was to deny what he was talking about and walk away but a part of her, deep down, thought that maybe he had answers, answers which her mother refused to give her.

She could try, right? "I don't know who you are or what you think I am but..." She sighed shakily. "I don't know what I can do...what I did to you was...was something that happens rarely." She tried to tell Kieran. "I just live with my mom...I don't have anyone else." She told him. His words repeated in her head. He had asked what she was doing here, where else would she be? "I don't know what you want from me." Anabelle frowned, not sure why he wanted to bring this up. She had been raised to believe it was taboo. Something bad, something very unknown. "Are you...are you saying that you might be able to help me with whatever is going on?"

Her comment was a joke, likely.

But it was a serious issue to him.

Entering the mind of anyone but a human was risky from his point of view. There were some who might be able to control a wolf or a bird but Devon saw little point in venturing so far beyond the reality he had. He was happy with his skills and found it amusing to have Rhys tease when she wasn't any better than him. He gave a shrug and turned back to her, his lips up in a slight smirk of amusement. She apologized though, which was nice of her. He hadn't been expecting one though.

"You'll find when traveling, it's best not to let your mouth do too much talking. People on the road can be helpful if you let them but if you piss off the wrong sort, you'll be killed on the spot. The last thing anyone needs is a partner who has a bad reputation." He advised and walked back over to the girl. They went to work dividing up their food, keeping what could be saved, for another point in time. He liked to keep basic staples with him if possible. Rice rarely went bad and if he had the money, he sometimes would get cured meats. For now, they should eat to build up their strength. In the back of his mind, he knew he'd need to meet up with Kieran soon and inform him of his new partner.

She could be of use to them in their cause to get to the bottom of restoring the world back to its once proper glory. As he ate, he was asked about taking turns in terms of keeping watch. "I never have to worry about that, now neither do you. I can pick up on things close by, much easier when I sleep to be honest." He told her. As he finished the banana, he rubbed his eyes, growing weary already. Traveling would do that to anyone. "Currently, no." He said. "I have a friend who is in the other world right now, he's searching for someone I think." He said.

"His name is Kieran and I went into his mind once and saw a blurry but promising vision. A world where magic was no longer seen as evil or bad, a world where most people have powers. I think it was created by myself, him, and two other people with different talents. We parts ways but we may rejoin soon." He said. "I think if we keep moving, I may be able to lock onto him and see where he might be. There is a town we thought about meeting up in. It's a little west of here I think." Devon said as he licked his lips and got up to get ready to get some rest. Sleeping on the grass would be much better than in a ditch. "I've met magicians in my travels but you're the first who is brave enough to join me." He smiled to her and laid back, using his pack as a pillow.
I got a post up. *crosses fingers*
Log said Doctor Beverly Crusher Chief Medical Log Stardate 43076.2

While en route to Starbase 2 to pick up more medical supplies, I have received a very peculiar message from an officer there, who I've become friends with recently. His crew is small but efficient in aiding all who need medical help. We had been exchanging correspondences for the past few months but the most recent message is what concerns me. I've watched it several times but will need to report the findings to Captain Picard, if there is a risk at Starbase, we need to consider it before we dock and get supplies. They may need our help more than we need theirs.

Getting up from her seat, Beverly walked over to the replicator, "Computer, jasmine tea, hot please." While they were nearing Starbase 2, and she needed to get up to the bridge, she needed to settle her thoughts and collect herself. She picked up the cup of tea and took a few drinks. The smell alone was soothing. Setting it aside, she looked around her quarters and headed out. It was late in the morning, she had done her rounds at sickbay and had checked on everything in the lab. She had a few cultures she was experimenting with but overall, it was a slow day. That had been the morning but having received Lieutenant Snipes' message, Beverly was certain the day would not longer be a gentle one.

Walking down the halls and taking designated turns, she came to the turbolift and stated her destination, the bridge. When she reached it, the doors slid open and she saw the usual crew going about their business. Commander Riker was in his usual seat while all the other officers were reporting their current proximity to the Starbase. From the sounds of it, they would be approaching it rather soon. "Captain," She greeted, walking over to him. "I just received an incoming log from a friend who is stationed at Starbase 2, his name is Jeremy Snipes and I think you should take a look at it." She said. While she had considered requesting that view it privately, she considered that the crew involved also needed to know the potential risks of the situation.

"You haven't been able to contact Starbase 2, have you?" She asked Riker.

"No, we haven't been able to get hold of them, not since our last transmission a day ago." He replied.

"I feared as much." She sighed. Counselor Troi wasn't on the bridge, though if she were, it would be easy to pick up on the feelings of worry and apprehension and sadness. "Computer, play Lt. Snipes incoming messag 7." She instructed. The large monitor in front of them changed from looking out at the dark abyss of space, to the face of a man in the typical blue Starfleet issues uniform. He had green eyes and dark hair. In the background, there was quite a mess. Equipment was everywhere and there could be sounds of fighting off camera. "This is the final message he sent me, it's dated only hours ago." She mentioned.

"Something has happened." Jeremy said as he looked over his shoulder. "We were taken over by four unknown people last night who did not identify themselves to us. They broke in and were immediately very hostile. Whatever they could communicate to us were grunts and gestures. Our attempts to subdue and assess their condition were met with physical attacks. One of our crew, Doctor Miranda, was bitten by one of them. We took blood samples from her but in the meantime, we had no choice but to quarantine the four from the rest of our crew for our own safety. When the test results came back, we found an unknown virus was now present in Doctor Miranda. We were working on a makeshift cure but this morning, everything got worse, much worse." In the background, there were sounds as if someone was trying to break down a barricade.

"As Doctor Miranda grew mores restless and began to regress, in terms of cognitive functions, we had no choice but to quarantine her with the others who were infected. She put up more resistance and ended up getting into a fight with our crew. She killed one member, Ensign Yates, who had just transferred here. The Doctor then went on another rampage and began fighting with the four who were infected. One of them killed her and managed to escape where we had contained them. Other members of our crew ended up getting into fights with those who escaped or got infected themselves." Jeremy quickly explained. "In order to prevent things from spreading, I've disabled the transporter and dislocated the emergency escape pods. I'm staying here, I don't know if I'm infected or not."

Suddenly there was a loud bang and two people entered the small medical room. Jeremy turned around and took out his phaser. "End log." He said as the transmission was cut.

"Whatever happened has escalated quickly." Beverly said and turned to her colleagues. "I know it is a risk to proceed to Starbase 2 given this information but I would like to advise that with caution, we should still check up on the crew. It was never specified who was still alive. It's possible someone is still there, uninfected. If this is the case, isn't it better to go and assess first hand, rather than just report it and get supplies elsewhere?" She expressed. "Snipes could be alive, their cure could be completed." She insisted. "For all we know, it could be a virus that wears off over time but since it causes such extreme cases of violent tendencies and a regression in speech and other functions, we don't know. I'd feel better if I could go down and check every thing out for myself. Lt. Snipes was a good man and while he couldn't make a formal report to Starfleet, he did contact me."

"I'd like to respect that and investigate." She finished, looking to Captain Picard.

"We don't know how it spreads." Riker mentioned. "It could be through a bite or cut or it could be airborne."

"So I'll wear a suit, it shouldn't effect Data, he could come with me to help collect samples and see if anyone still aboard the Starbase 2 needs medical attention. We don't know where these four intruders came from or how they became so out of control. I need to help figure this out." Doctor Crusher said. "I'll be careful."

"We're approaching Starbase 2, Captain." One of the crew informed him as the screen now showed their approach towards the facility.

"We can't ignore this." Beverly pleaded.
Bump.
If there aren't any more takers, this could be a one on one.
Sure. I'm out doing an interview but I can watch some episodes and get a post up in a few hours. I'll introduce the general mission, and probably have Beverley enter a log regarding an unusual transmission she received from the Starbase.
