I tend to steer away from chat since it can be a hit or miss but I thought I'd suggest it and see if anyone was totes in favor. ^^;
Okay, so we'll use both then, fine with me.

So would you like me to start then?
If you've got another idea, I don't mind hearing it. ^^;
Alright, that would be fine with me then. Something light, like a mix of rival and friends, then that's fine with me.

If we are ready to start, I assume we would want to do so with the discovery of a mirror shard.

In terms of posting and ascetics, would we want to use character banners and a line break like - - - for change. Or would we want to use location banners for where each person is? Or just keep formatting out of it and just keep to - - - for separation. I'm fine either way but I figure we may as well be consistent about it.

I'll edit the first page with our character links now.
Sashie.

It was a funny nickname he used from time to time.

Either she hated it or loved it, it just depending on the situation.

In the current one, she didn't mind at all. Sasha was happy to reunite with her partner in crime. He said he'd with her but he could have easily made different plans or change his mind between lunch and now. But he was here and evidently still interested to see what she had in mind for their random outing of sorts. "Oh it went fine, I figured out the secret to immortality, so not much really happened." She replied, grin still on her face, her voice giving a bit of a tune in reply. "Come on, let's go." She motioned him to follow her. The pair headed back toward their neighborhood. "Go get your bike." She told him, swatting his arm lightly as they headed down the street. The sky above was gloomy but that was typical for them.

While James headed off, she ran into her house. She grabbed an umbrella and some snacks and dropped off her backpack. She dumped her things into the basket of her bike and pulled it around from the side of the house. Soon James met up with her and she got in. "Alright, now we're really ready." Sasha told him. If she could, she wouldn't have minded blindfolding him and taking him to the place herself but that might get confusing and put one of them in the hospital. So for now she was happy to have someone to go with her, rather than someone to drag along and hopefully surprise. At some point, she did want to surprise him with something. Maybe a new game or something. Her part-time job was good for saving extra cash away.

"Got any homework?" She asked James as she led them into the thicker, more busier part of London. She had some, but right now, she was more than happy to push it aside. Sasha slowed down at a stop light as they were in the bike lane. Most cars were careful but buses on the other hand wanted to plow down any poor cyclists. "I already did my English." She laughed. Of course she did. Maths on the other hand, er she didn't want to go there. No thanks. As the light turned, they went back to pedaling. She took a right turn and slowed down. "We gotta go on foot from here." She told him as she got off and pocketed the snacks and grabbed the umbrella. It would make a nice weapon if they stumbled upon any king sized rats or monsters.

When James was ready to continue, she led them down an alleyway, it smelled furiously awful.

She pushed some trash bins aside and then positioned them against the wall to act as stairs to get over the tall chain link fence. She hopped over and made sure she hadn't torn her pants. If she did, her mum would be rather cross. "I know this seems weird but trust me." Sasha said cheerfully as they continued down the alleyway until they got to an unsuspecting lid that led underground. She pulled it off and used her umbrella to poke around the darkness. No monsters yet. She found a ladder and climbed down it. "Come on down and close it on your way!" She shouted as she stepped onto a ledge. There was a shallow stream of water underground but there were thin six inch ledges on either side of the small cavern. She wished she brought a flashlight but it was a little late for that now.

Feeling her way using the walls, she took a left turn and soon light from the other end came into view. "Oh we're almost there!" She hissed in excitement. As much as she wanted to charge forward, she knew if she did, she'd probably fall into the nasty muck. So she calmed herself down and looked over her shoulder to make sure James was alright. She took his hand and they finished creeping along the rest of the way. When they got to the end, fresh air greeted them as they found themselves over looking the famous river. They had a ledge to sit out and look at the sights. She sat down and dangled her feet off the edge. "I figured this place might be fun to check out." She panted softly and tossed James a Jaffa Cake.
It happened quite fast.

Mela looked over to where the arrow had originated.

She held her breath, unsure if the new addition to the fray would help her or consider her a threat as the three angry dwarfs had. She was in no condition to be fighting, not when she was outnumbered and without much magic flowing through her. Thoughts of her brother could only give her extra bits of courage. He wouldn't give up, so neither would she. Suddenly, another burst of wind flew by and she saw a second dwarf hit the ground. Could this be happening? Was she next? Though now she was no longer outnumbered, Mela didn't feel her body release any of its harbored stress. She held her breath and tried to summon any last bits of magic. If she couldn't fight, she could at least try to conjure up a sturdy defense of sorts.

The third and final foe backed away and seemed to be surrendering to the lost cause. Mela was fine with letting him go but before she could switch her attention and voice elsewhere, another arrow was shot. She slowly made her way toward the fallen third dwarf, crouching beside him. Her anger towards him had evaporated into the stars above. She didn't know what their true intentions with her. Rape? Cannibalism? Murder? Blackmail? She had heard of horrible stories but she couldn't help but pity someone who died not on the battlefield, but with sorrow in his heart. He had been willing to leave, in her mind. And whoever was carrying out these executions, surely had a cold heart. She was safe at the moment, but she wasn't sure how long that moment would really last.

The figure on the horse wasn't very far away anymore. Even in the darkness, Mela could see he was armed and pointing his weapon at her. She surveyed what the dwarfs had on them, some tools, no food. Her heart sank even further as she slowly got to her feet, looking back toward the new found enemy. His words flew from his mouth like poison. She saw no reason why he had to be rude to her, they didn't know one another but she didn't see why pleasantries needed to be obscured entirely. "Why should I tell you my name?" She called back to him. "Why would suddenly knowing my name satiate your thirst for releasing a fourth and final arrow?" She asked him, not one to take orders from someone who didn't know mercy. "He was going to run away and you shot him." She glared slightly, arm gesturing to the dwarf by her feet.

While most women might be thankful to a mysterious savior, Mela was not.

He was armed and looking at her. There was no way the princess would find time to swoon and be charming. That would be foolish. She glanced around the grassy area and then back to the one on horseback. "Disarm yourself, there is only me now and if you had been watching like I assume you were, you would know I have no more magic at my disposal, it's been tirelessly spent. And considering you've got a horse and I do not, you're still at an advantage even without drawing your weapon. Someone who poses a threat for the sake of intimidation is more coward than man." Mela told him. So far, she wasn't impressed with what the rest of the world had to offer but it didn't stop her from wanting to see more. In the back of her mind, she did consider how to get the horse.

Having one would make her life a lot easier.

Of course the archer was rude and restless and getting the upper hand, given her state, wouldn't be easy. Weighing her options, she considered what would be plausible. She could act coy and use her gender's strengths. In doing so she may get something to eat or better, be able to knock the guy out and take his horse. Money was of very little value lately but she would pay him for the horse when she took it. It seemed logical to her. Mela also considered continuing to stand her ground but figured some kindness might do a bit better. "My name is Mela Caerleon." It was risk, either he knew of her family, or didn't. She wasn't sure he would be very helpful but she figured at least giving him something might in turn work out for her as well. "And who are you? Are you friend or foe?" She asked him. "If you're going to kill me, do it now, if not, do not ever threaten me again." He should be lucky not to have crossed her path with her powers fully available.
So if we have Haymitch and Katniss already planning their game plan, would we want to include Peeta since he'd be the mentor? I mean, would he be surprised by Hatmich's action or would he also be already aware of the agreement and Katniss being too stubborn to let him enter again when he, let's be honest, probably should have died.
Woah, woah, we're just friends! Unless you wanna take this to the next level...

I am now a bit tempted to sneak space weed into the scavenger hunt. What could possibly go wrong?

Oh, that's true! Hm.. then maybe they could have some sort of rivalry? Rival researchers trying to outdo each other on everything? That could be fun too. If their parents are pioneers, then they would be competing to uphold their family's name.

And I meant personality wise, haha.

I did list her persona already, I'd rather keep it more concise though.

Rivals are alright with me though it shouldn't be too toxic, after all if people don't like one another, there's little keeping them from just going off on their own.
Space weed, there's surely a potent planet out there growing it...XD
