Yeah I heard about Ron dying and that Ron's dad could have died in book 5 rather than Sirius. I think a major death like Ron could have really been better than losing say Sirius.

We have a lot to look forward to, from cuddling, saving each other, killing, flirting in the arena, to traveling in the wilderness and then around the districts, I don't know where our endgame will be but hopefully it's not anytime soon. :3
So we're sticking to Pema dying but not Meelo then?

I've been listening to the soundtrack, LoK really had some amazing tracks, I think I'll work on a post now.
I liked his betrayal because it was so random but sadly it didn't do much to the story as a whole. Tonks was weird. I think Remus was just settling at that point. If Tonks would have been with anyone it should have been Sirius since they were both so weird. I would have happily had Ron die instead of him. Or something.

It's possible after the country gets redesigned that there could be another "Games" we make up but it would be more for reward and have no killing, maybe to ensure people walk away with money for say, making it to the top five, that way more money could trickle down to those who need it. Or something. I have no idea how things will look as the revolution picks up and then ends. That's pretty far ahead. I think in terms of Katniss being a symbol, she won't really be in it but I could still see people using her story and courage to push for change. I think some might understand their compatibility but it could lend itself well to how tricky it'll be when they're moving around, with the bounty on their heads and all, there's a lot of tension in the air.

Goodness. Cinna might have a better trick than that. I don't even wanna know how they deal with "the talk" in the series, as I don't think it's really a big priority when life is so difficult. >_>'

Pffft. I might see it when it comes out but I'd be fine with waiting a few weeks to let the crazies filter out. Dude, gimme my post. Let's kill the deer! I made it sick cause I felt bad...I don't think I'll feel bad in the arena but that deer is innocent. T___T
Charlie was indeed interesting, I mean he worked where I was from. Percy was weird, I feel like his betrayal was oddly downplayed. And made me see Ron as a villain type in the last book, maybe siding with Draco and turning in his friends to keep his family safe or something. I felt for Cho too, I couldn't imagine what emotional torture she went through with Cedric and then Harry. There weren't a lot of females in the series though, I wasn't a big fan of Molly or Tonks, and though Fleur was around, I didn't see much of a point though it was a nice inclusion I didn't see coming.

I feel like Gale might already know his protection for Prim might not be so brother-sisterly. I don't think he'll realize it fully until later though, you're right. I bet the pubic would love Prim and Gale and see nothing really wrong with it. The scandal of Haymitch and Katniss bonding...god poor Peeta, everyone's got someone but him. Eh, he can go have crazy Effie. And yeah, I was gonna say she'd punch Gale if he called her 'sweetheart' but I deleted it since it seemed a bit much...but totally what she'd do. I guess Gale can just call her 'Prim' since rose would make me think of Doctor Who. >_>

I have to make sure Katniss doesn't use her claws too much, I'm sure once the danger of Prim being reaped happened, she'll lose her shit and try killing everyone at the ceremony cause...noo, not Prim. Not Gale. And then Haymitch is fucked. </3

The emotions in Fish Tank...unf. And Fassy? And British culture and accents? And all the drinking and swearing, oh what a great film. They were good in Hunger Games but Catching Fire just brought all my feels back for them, and it pleased me beyond belief. Most fanfics are predictable with sour conversations and one of them being filled with regret all the time, so depressing.

Making Katniss flirt was the most amusing thing I've done today...and that includes eating a doughnut and laughing at my mom. Oh Katniss, Cinna needs to show you how to be sexy. And yes, a close Gale would surely do away with any real life thoughts. I bet he smells like pine trees and dust, some nice earthy combination. XD

Awesome, I may go to bed soon but I should be free tomorrow afternoon and evening if you get something up.

Now I wanna go rewatch Fish Tank since it makes me think of Haymitch and Katniss.

Oh and on the bright side, with Mockingjay, we do get to see more Prim and Gale...and Haymitch and Katniss...TONS of sexual tension for them to behold. Again, poor Peeta.
Posted. Cue awkward flirty Katniss for my own amusement, and Gale being close, woo~!
While Gale had a feeling his presence may not be as troublesome as say, Prim's in their eyes, he still wanted them both to be accepted. Gale wouldn't tag along if Prim couldn't go. He wasn't sure why Haymitch and Katniss were being so weary about them accompanying them. In his mind. he and Prim had valid points and needed to spend time with Katniss before it was too late. Katniss on the other hand, looked from Haymitch to her sister as the two began to exchange words. Katniss knew Haymitch had been stealing her away but Katniss needed to train with him. Their dynamic of mentor and tribute was beginning to dissipate and they were beginning to rely on each other, which was a priceless asset in the arena. Gale looked to Katniss as well, wondering what she would do now. He had a feeling she'd let them tag along but he could tell it bothered katniss to ruffle Haymitch's feathers.

Gale wouldn't back down though.

"Haymitch, they won't slow us down." Katniss said, her voice less angry and more sincere, which was a surprise. She wasn't too happy with Haymitch but he had a point, but so did Gale and Prim. The wilderness was dangerous but Katniss had her supplies with her and was sure they would be just fine if they stuck together. Katniss wanted to look after everyone even though deep down, she knew she couldn't. She'd have to let someone go and trust that they wouldn't get killed because of her. Her hands were already covered in layers upon layers of blood. For a moment she found herself back in the arena after she blew up the trap at the Cornucopia. She left Rue, trusting she would be okay and yet she heard her scream and then it was too late. Gale noticed Katniss spacing off, her eyes becoming distant.

"Katniss." He reached out and touched her arm. "Let's get going." He said, knowing how the conversation would go if he asked if she was okay. She would say she was fine, he'd give her a look, she'd insist she was fine once more, he'd ask about the Games, she'd change the subject and he'd be left on the outside again. he gave another glance to Haymitch, almost daring him to act like an asshole before he removed his other arm from Primrose but not before giving her a bit of a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "Great, it's settled then." Without anymore remarks from Haymitch, they headed off, Katniss and said drunk leading the way. Gale watched Prim out of the corner of his eye, not doubting her ability like everyone else was. "You'll be amazed at how much Prim's improved." He told the two in front of them though it was more for Katniss who knew Prim, than it was for the dubious grump.

Katniss was still a bit out of it as she walked alongside Haymitch. Her mind was prone to wander, fall back into the past due to the simplest of triggers. She saw so many similarities with Rue and Prim and she couldn't lose Prim. She wouldn't. She would die if it meant Prim would live. The nightmares still plagued her when night fell but with the training tiring her out, they didn't come as frequently to the exhausted teenager. When she brushed against Haymitch and he mentioned something to her which helped snapped her out of her violent fog. The girl looked around her surroundings and back over her shoulder at her best friend and little sister. Then she looked back to Haymitch, her eyes lingering. She knew he wasn't fond of the new addition but it was just this once and Katniss was sure things would be alright. "I can understand them, you know, missing me..." She nudged him a little. "You can't keep me all to yourself forever. Soon we'll be with forty-six other trained killers, you gotta learn to share, Haymitch."

Her tone was quite but playful, the sort of gentle sarcasm.

As the quartet continued onward into the darkness of the night, they settled on a place to make camp. Katniss and Haymitch took care of the set up which meant clearing the area of bigger objects and rocks until they had a decent foundation that was comfortable but still secluded and unsuspecting. It was pretty dark but Katniss was used to seeing in the dark. Gale on the other hand, needed more time to adjust. He didn't go out at night too often and the area beyond the fence that they were in, was rather unfamiliar to him. Even so, he kept up with the two and made sure Prim was doing the same. "What can we do to help?" Gale asked, still trying to figure out when the best time to confront Haymitch would be. Haymitch was intimidating but Gale cared about Katniss enough to put that aside and make sure Haymitch was taking it seriously. Based on the chilly welcome they got back in District 12, he had a feeling Haymitch's mind was indeed in the right place.

Still, he wanted to be sure.

"We're gonna make a fire and practice climbing trees tonight." Katniss just said, trying to find the most suitable middle ground between being their friend and sister, and being a trained tribute with her mind steadily focused. Gale turned to Prim, his eyes finally adjusting to the darkness. The only source of light was the crescent moon off tot he side of them. Gale nodded and looked over at Prim who looked a bit out of place. He had faith in her and knew she could handle herself.

"We can gather things for the fire." Gale said and reached out for Prim's arm. he knew how to start a fire and he knew what was needed to do so. Katniss glanced to Haymitch, aware he wasn't fond of their slow pace.

"Hurry back and stay close."

"We'll see what we find, it hasn't rained in a few days but you never know." Gale said and headed off with Prim but made sure to stay around the perimeter of the general area. As he began picked up dry objects which would act as tinder, he felt eyes on him but they weren't the eyes of humans. He leaned over to Prim and placed a hand on her back while the other dropped the dry brittle branches. "I think we have company." He had a knife but it was attached to his ankle. He had packed Prim's bag with a bow and arrow and could use it. She could grab his knife and they be armed at least. In the distance, a deer was watching them. It was weak but still dangerous enough.

"I know you're not happy but you could pretend to be, for me." She told Haymitch. As Katniss retied her shoes to make sure they were tight for climbing trees, a skill she wasn't great with, even in the daylight, she felt the air change as Gale had. "We need to find Gale and Prim." She muttered, licking her lips as a new rush flowed through her veins.
I could ship the trio together but only if Ron had a lot of development cause man, after book four, I hated him. I don't see why Hermione would tolerate his BS. I didn't feel very attached to any of Ron's family. I know everyone loves Fred and George but I never saw their charm beyond the trope of two older brother jokesters. I wish we got more about Cho, I could have put her with Ron or maybe even Neville. I did like the idea of Hermione & Snape or Lupin, in regards to teacher student. But daaaamn I shipped Snape and Harry for so long, so hard. I was so young back then but I was a big Snarry shipper until I figured out Harry and Hermione make more realistic sense. Urgh.

I wonder when they'll both develop their beginning feelings. I think Katniss is a bit closer since she already admires Haymitch, probably more so after hearing his story in the arena. So if the two wanted to snuggle up and avoid some of the crap in the arena, it might be more acceptable. I don't know how the Capital would react but I could see people shipping them, and Gale and Prim cause there is bound to be shippers who watch the Games. As a headcanon, I bet Katniss would never let anyone but Haymitch call her 'sweetheart' if Peeta or Gale tried, she'd probably get pissed off. <333

Though thanks to your Prim, it's a lot easier to enjoy her than in the books. I do like writing with or as characters I don't understand or enjoy which might be why I like developing Ron so much (just not with Hermione heh) or say, Sasuke Uchiha. It's fun to develop roles to better accept them.

That's a good one too. I also don't mind mother's bf x daughter, though you can thank Fish Tank for that one. Woo. Or doctor x patient, intelligence is always sexy and as long as roles aren't poorly developed, it shouldn't become a smutfest. With Katniss, I never saw her liking anyone either. *nods* I didn't see why we needed forced romance there when Finnick's story and Haymitch's were so lovely. If you read Haymitch/Katniss fics, it's all angst with her drinking and being sad with him. I'm really glad we can break out of that 'norm' here. Who says they can't have a happy relationship and cope in other ways besides binge drinking? They understand each other but not in a pandering sort of way. I think the same could be said for Gale and Prim too, you'd think he and Prim did/could get close in the books, trying to cheer each other up while watching Katniss...

Nooo, you're getting a post tonight damnit. It's not even that late for me...maybe two more paragraphs. And plotting is good, once plotting stops, it's kind of hard to gauge interest and direction. :3
Would you be up for a 1x1 or a 1x1x1 and recruiting later? I'm a bit annoyed, and that's putting it quite lightly.
I shipped Draco and Ron at one point but out of angst in regards to Harry. Luna and Hermione would have been nice, have a nice strong lesbo couple in fiction. I still think Harry and Hermione were made for each other and someone altered JK's writing to put Ron where he didn't belong. Blah. As cute as Snape and Lily were, I don't like how Lily ended up treating her old friend, so even there, I couldn't buy into it. If anything, Harry, Ron and Hermione shouldn't have gotten together with each other, if Harry and Hermione didn't get married and have a perf life together, the three should have at least been just friends. Oh well...

*snort* Porcupines mating? Is that a thing? I wanna google it but...I don't know. >___> Well Katniss can put up with his shit, like he can put up with hers and I'm sure they can be around each other well enough to let their *gasp* feels out. Our characters need some kind of guidance cause with Gale, Prim, Katniss and Haymitch...they'll need all the help they can get. I just can't wait to see Gale and Haymitch ask the girls to dance at the ball~

I like them too, I'm a sucker for teacher x student stuff, if done well. But in YA, it would never happen sadly. I thought Glimmer and Cato could work as well. I also prefered Katniss with neither Gale nor Peeta but not because she didn't deserve anyone but because no one deserved her. Not that she's epic or goddess like but that she was fine on her own and I saw her being happy as is. But if not, Haymitch seemed like such a safe haven for her, and likewise for him.

Yeah, poor Peeta. I can't wait to bring in Ceaser, they did a good job casting him in the film but I love his actor so...it was hard not to love him.

And I swear I'm almost done, it's short but my mom made me stop and make dinner and do some chores. Urgh life.

But it is good to know you're enjoying the RP, I am too. It's probably the best one I have going because everything else is falling to shit.
I shipped Harry and Hermione since book one and it killed me to see Ron get such a gem like Hermione. *shakes head* Ginny was a terrible character who shouldn't have stuck around IMO. I never bought into any of the romance JK gave us which is a shame but the world and books are good enough to overlook the romance in it for me. I'd rather put Ron with Luna since they're both a little quirky and sort of the 'side kicks' who deserved a bit more development.

Jezz, let's hope Haymitch isn't the one with the most experience well...he might not...man, our pairs are almost fucked heh. At least they have a lot of chances to be angsty as well as cute and helpful to one another.

I shipped Haymitch and Katniss pretty early when I saw Peeta wasn't all that. I didn't think they'd get together cause it's YA and age gaps don't happen in those heh. I did wanna put Madge with Gale but Prim somehow ended up a better fit when someone else mentioned to me and I gave it some thought. And hell, it helped my Haymitch x Katniss move along so how could I protest? Giving Prim development made her a lot less 'useless' like say Ginny in HP.

Good, people misunderstand poor Gale. :/ He's just a baby wolf~

I'll be sure to find something fitting of Katniss thanks to Cinna. I also wonder how the parade and marketing will go. Would they want to put Katniss and her sister together and Gale and Haymitch in the back of the chariot? Or would they put Gale and Prim, and Haymitch and Katniss? I figure the first option since Prim was a major part of Katniss's campaign last year.
