So this is a fantastical story between me and Fauxbot.

The general story goes that two people on the edge of graduating college meet in a modestly sized town by the ocean. One works at a coffee shop and goes to the local university. The other just rolled into town and is a wandering poet working for a small magazine. They both stumble across an interesting book at a small unsuspecting bookstore. They look through it and find that it has ancient information about some sort of mystical portal that can take them to another land where magic exists. They book guides them to a simple classroom inside the local university and thus begins their adventure together.

Unbeknownst to them, there is a secret society of people who go around looking for these portals. Since only one can be open at a time and expires after a random date or amount of usage, they are racing against time to find next newly opened portal.

Okay so I was gonna make some banners but got lazy but hey maybe when we cook up our CS then I can get something done. So this is our modest lil OOC here. Did you figure out a picture you wanted to use? I may keep my CS short and simple since we know the general stuff and anything else will be uncovered when we get moving. Did we want to talk more about the other world and maybe the town we're beginning in?
Double thanks, Aspi. Yes your name is far too long for me to write it all out. I hope with the Guild's ups and downs, there may be some leniency for the stragglers but I can only wait so long before I assume they have indeed, jumped ship...
Gonna unsub from this due to inactivity, good luck with your future writing endeavors.
Gonna unsub from this, if you ever wanna pick things up or something, drop me a PM.
Okay here I was hoping to use today to flesh out the OOC and of course the site doesn't agree with me.

So tomorrow should be the day.

And I am still seeking a co-GM if anyone should be interested, school is about to fuck me in the ass so I could use any help I can get. ^^;
Scout, watch it....*wags fingers and pouts*

I have a lot of Nine x Rose vids saved, the few that are around are super good though and makes my heart cry many tears.

Also I forget how to imbed vids but these two should be awesome enough for you lot.

He'd be dead by the time our RP rolls around? I think? What year is it again? XD

But yeah thanks, glad I could kill you <333
Though the day had been fairly uneventful, the night itself had been filled with stress and it could tire someone out. Though for Gale, he had enjoyed himself for the most part, even so, he knew it was getting late and their past two days had been pretty easy compared to when they first started training. Tomorrow would be a rude awakening for some people and Gale didn't want to slack off because they didn't get enough sleep. Prim was right but he still hated to waste time sleeping when he could be talking with Prim, any time was better than none at all. And he had a feeling time in the Games wouldn't be so peaceful.

Or lovely.

The girl kissed him on the cheek and began to get ready for bed which meant actually getting into it. He got up and watched her get comfortable before he moved over and got in beside her. He was sure training tomorrow would be very interesting. There would be younger tributes who were ready to get started and the older ones might be a bit more sluggish. He hadn't seen much of Haymitch but he hoped the man had steered away from any liquor. Sure, the guy had stayed clean so far but Gale wasn't too sure. He knew Haymitch loved to drown in booze and he figured being back in the Capitol around old friends might make him lose focus.

Either way, he just hoped both he and Katniss were well rested for the morning too. Gale slipped under the covers and stretched a little, turning in both rotational directions. He was ready to get back to training, get back to focus on what really mattered. Peeta could handle the stupid chatter with possible sponsors. What mattered to Gale was surviving and Peeta could only play so much of a role in it. Gale had to make sure he could swing his sword and not choke up when it came down to killing. You could practice physically but mentally was a whole other story and Gale knew he might need to talk to Katniss or Haymitch about what it would be like to actually kill someone. And not just anyone, people they had been around, getting to know. It unsettled him him.

Gale smiled to Prim, not wanting to ruin the end of their night with his fretting.

"When this is all over, we'll have to try for date number two." He said lightly.
Bump.
"Yeah yeah, I've got my own wiki page and everything, thank god they used a good picture. Have you seen some of them, look at poor Jude Law. He's so utterly handsome and the page uses the most rubbish picture it could find, shame innit?" Sasha said. The twins were rather interesting and though she knew they didn't really believe her, it was still fun to mess around a little.

The others went back and forth in regards to what she and James did and she rolled her eyes, still in disbelief that they would pester so much. Back home, they wouldn't do such things to even their closest of friends. It seemed she wasn't the only one who tuned the others out. She caught James looking at her and he mouthed her something but she couldn't figure out what. She assumed he was thanking her for the twins but she didn't mind. They were fascinating, though annoying.

But Sasha was a guest and she didn't mind a buzz of excitement floating around, it made her miss home a bit less. "Huh?" She blinked a few times when James asked about being cold. She had on a simple wool jacket and was alright but the wind was picking up, making it seem colder than it was. "Oh....um." She started to reply but then he began to ramble about getting sick once and she waited until he was done, used to his tangents. "It's not too bad, I have a feeling by the time I'll get into the swing of things, it'll be time to go back home." She admitted wearily.

"I am a bit cold though." She said and nudged him a little.

James offered her his scarf which she took happily. "You're not getting this back, you know." She teased him as she wound it around her neck before she pushed her hands back in her pockets where they could be safe from the weather. As they continued to walk along, the twins ran on ahead, getting excited about some park that was currently without too many ramblers. "They seem....nice." She said. "I'm not sure what kind of time we'll get to ourselves with everyone around." She smiled a little.

"But I am glad to be here." She told him. Sasha was interested in the American culture and she knew plenty of authors and even poets had originated from the land of the free and home of the brave. And even though political unrest was brewing, she was still hopeful that she'd be able to travel the world and meet other passionate readers and writers of the world. "Maybe we can find a bookstore here or even look at the big university." She brightened up, linking her arm in his.
