Okay, don't worry about writing me into a corner, we never really have too much trouble moving things along/around. I'll follow your lead, I trust ya. And don't worry about posting, I hope you enjoy your movie plus your show. I'm almost all caught up on my stuff on here so whenever you get a post my way, it shouldn't be much of a wait. But yes, go tend to the one waiting longer, that's what I'd do cause hey, guilt lol
@Ink Blood Sorry about the delay, life yadda yadda yadda. >___>

Anyway, we've been chatting off-site about some stuff. Overall it looks good but we just have some stuff we'd need tweaked. ^^

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of a rich kid without parents (who aren't around/dead/etc) but I'll let it slide since we're already behind schedule. Though him graduating high school early (at least in Japan) isn't really an easy feat and then he works with computers later on...the Gvn wouldn't want anyone who is too tech savvy in their pocket since then they'd be more skilled to turn the tables if they ever wanted to you know? I'm not asking that to change but just expressing some food for thought.

What we're looking to be tweaked is the weapon and the personality.

The weapon is good. We're all (us GMs) happy to have a defensive player on our crew but we need more details. I think 10 walls is a bit too much, I think something like 4-5 would be more believable. We're also unconvinced that just relying on concentrating isn't worthy of explanation. We're looking for specifics like density and height and width and flexibility. We've also wondered if it's possible for them to only be implemented with Oculus maintaining physical contact or needing to be within say, five feet of their origin. Most walls would fall after so many hits and we're wondering what their limit/weakness is.

So we'd need more information there.

Lastly/secondly is the personalty.

You're writing for Oculus when you should be writing for Harper.

Oh crap, is he born in Japan? Because he needs to be at least born in Japan to be considered a candidate for a Corrector, like how a President has to have been born in the USA, governments wouldn't want to trust non-natives with their security ya know? So you may need to tweak that.

Ahem back to the personality!

We think some of the word choices are a little poor and a concern:

Claiming to be calm but then paranoid is pretty contradictory. And if his focus is very important, I don't see his defenses very strong if he's constantly worried and under pressure. "Paranoia" is a very strong word, something that would deter the Gvn from even hiring Harper if he may need to be medicated.

Obsessive almost makes me wonder about OCD, which is again, a red flag for a Gvn who is investing a lot of money and time into those they hire to protect the DgtWld.

Then there's "open minded" and "reading people" which again, aren't really traits or adjectives per say. We think other words might be better like: skeptical, cautious, observant, protective, laid back, critical (of say his own performance on the team?) or maybe even shy or timid since he picked such a defensive skill, he clearly doesn't have a lot of guts or courage so maybe his passion is helping people? Just some thoughts that may you could put it into his history (if you like) that he wanted to help people or save them from say the loneliness he may have suffered as a child. I just mean, if you're gonna play the rich kid, you may as well do something good with it and use it to your advantage as opposed to using it like some emotional scar.

Does that make sense? If you can change some of the words of Harper's personality and give us more insight into his walls and maybe how or why he still can't trust people even after two years? That's something that we can't really go along with. If he's antisocial or really that skittish, I don't see him as having made it two years without being fired, after all a team needs to be strong, sure with weaknesses, but they need to at least talk to each other and form some kind of bond, they are doing secret dangerous shit and that tends to bond people together pretty quick I think. ^^
If you wanna take another round for the party, I'm happy to do so. I think we're back in the groove of things. ^^ If you want to make a massive post, you can go ahead or skip part of the way and I could help pick up the slack so neither of us are doing too much expository on our own. If you wanted to skip to right up to the point of them preforming, I could take us the rest of the way? Again, I'm cool either way since it looks like we'll both be getting at least another post or two in before bed tonight~
Oh, hopefully you've got some kind of way to study or get tutoring since I know that's helpful too. The internet is also pretty good with video help too.

Moving really does suck, I never knew how bad it was until recently. Emotionally and physically, it's such a fucking pain.
Bump.
Bump.
Candy is the true meaning of holidays. And maybe booze.

Thanks. I also need to start looking for my own apartment for next year but ehhh I am in no hurry to deal with roommates.

Oh crap, well I posted. I can skip/edit if you want me to? Or if you wanna skip us in your post, that's cool too. ^^;
Math sucks. My school finally offered something for math losers like me where things were dumbed down quite a bit. I passed with flying colors. Maybe your school offers something like that?

Well we got about 90% of our stuff on a moving truck until we find a place. We've got rental stuff for our house because it's staged. We've been on the market for a week, had two open houses and got an offer. So we're working out the kinks with that and trying to find a place to move within the next month or so. It's tiring and I don't wanna go but hey, too much space, too pricey these days, it has to happen. -___-'
Trying to explain what was wrong to Prim was hard, since it was difficult for him to really figure out. Gale knew he wasn't as tactless as he seemed but around Haymitch, it was a lot harder to remain collected. Haymitch was an asset, Gale knew that. Haymitch was also stranger, someone he only knew from whispers and bitter ramblings from certain people. Gale wanted to trust Haymitch, to put the lives of those he cared about in the man's hands but at the same time, he still wasn't sure what Haymitch was capable of. The man had gotten sober but sobriety and executing an unknown plan were two different things.

"I don't know." Gale sighed and pressed his lips together. "I keep trying to talk to him about Katniss and you and the Games..." He knew this wasn't the right time to be talking about any of it but with Prim, he could honestly talk about anything, as well as nothing at all. She helped even if it was just by listening or being around. "I feel like on one hand, we can trust him," Well they needed to, and they had to. "but then again, he's as wild as Katniss, unpredictable and I need to know he'll protect her, and you, if something happens." Of course whenever Gale seemed to open his mouth, a lot of junk ended up tumbling out instead.

For Katniss, the main goal was to get everyone except herself out. At least that was the goal until very recently. With her new relationship with Haymitch, things had changed and she wasn't sure if she could sacrifice herself so that the others would live. After having to involve everyone else, Katniss was fine with accepting her fate as long as her loved ones were never bothered or harmed again. She knew she should have died a year ago, should have let Peeta win but that couldn't be undone. She stayed quiet, keeping her mouth shut as she tried to think of a way to tell Haymitch that she would play for herself. He probably wouldn't believe her though, so what was the point in lying?

He continued since she had given no inclination of commenting. "This isn't..." She stopped herself slowly. "This isn't about me anymore." She told him. "This is about everyone: me, you, Prim, Finnick, Johanna...Rue." Katniss swallowed and sighed deeply. "You know I'm not going to leave anyone behind, not if I can help it." She told him firmly. "A few days ago...I was fine with living until I died in the arena because I had ways of getting the rest of you to safety." She told him. "I was happy to accept some delayed fate but-" She glanced over her shoulder, unsure if anyone had wandered out of the main living room.

"But now," It was very sappy and hard to admit but if she could admit it to anyone, it had to be Haymitch. "I have you." She finally got out. "I didn't think I'd have a chance to be happy like everyone else, hunting makes me happy sure, but it's not the same." She glanced off and wished someone would come and find them so that she could be saved from this conversation. She didn't think this was what was bothering Haymitch though. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked him, happy to change topics for now since she hadn't really resolved his worry about her well being when it came to everyone else. It was probably an important matter to discuss but it wouldn't mean much when they were truly in the Games.

Gale wasn't too happy to be talking in depth about Haymitch. It didn't seem right, especially when they were teammates. His reservations, to him, weren't misplaced but they could surely be quelled somehow. Hopefully soon. But right now, they had other matters to deal with, like Peeta. "Anyway, as weird as this...music is, let's try to have a good time." He smiled to Prim and got up. He turned and held out a hand for her. "Let's get some snacks." He offered. When she took his hand, he headed over towards the table and made a small plate with Prim by his side. In a week, this would feel like a dream. "Hey Peeta, I heard Effie got you a nice cake." He called the blond over.

"It'll be nice not to have had to decorate it." Peeta commented, though doing so was a good way to take his mind off things.

"I bet." Gale nodded.

"So what are you two thinking about doing for the presentation?"

"Oh, is that all you can talk about?" Effie interjected as she broke away from the stylists.

"Considering the Games are only a few days away, yes." Gale said honestly. Effie gave a pout and walked off, her heels clicking rapidly. Gale turned back to Peeta and shrugged, the boys exchanged a smile. "I was going to try some sword tricks I've been on so it's not too boring." He told Peeta.

Heels could be heard approaching and Katniss saw Effie inching towards them, looking a little bothered. "Come along you two, the cake is on its way up, I've ordered something special for our birthday boy and you won't want to miss it." Effie beckoned them. Katniss rolled her eyes, not happy that she hadn't been able to really speak to Haymitch but she knew she could try and get something out of him at night when they were in bed together.

"Right, sorry Effie." Katniss said and followed the woman back to the others, though still worried about a million other things.
We used to do tons of stuff for Easter (not religious but fun stuff) like egg hunting around the house, brunch at home, making a special lamb shaped cake, decorate stuff. But since it's all packed...it doesn't feel the same. We exchanged candy and just went out for brunch. It was nice to be lazy but it doesn't feel like a holiday anymore. ^^;

We got an offer on the house so now we're trying to find a place but the places literally go off the market within hours of being listed cause I guess the place is super exclusive. So things are moving along.

And yes, tomorrow. No class, haha. I'm so glad I have four day weekends. I'm almost done with the post. Did we wanna skip after this? I think we wanted to go to them getting their results the next night?
