Not a bad haiku expect I'm adopted and she can't have kids so that might not work. XD

But she enjoyed last night, got flowers from my brothers and chocolate from me and concert tickets from my dad.

Now it's time to read my post and see what I can salvage. I don't like stopping in middle of a post I'm working on but we shall see.

You're right, we should surely outline how it begin, I think the chaos and turmoil would be very good to highlight and set the tone of the story itself. In terms of coming with our own landmarks/towns, is that something you'd be interested in? I think given the few selections, I think it's something we'll need to do, plus it would also allow us to make the setting more personal and suited to us.

A Dragon's Roar: Beyond the Blood, Beyond the Blight

The Chantry teaches us that it is the hubris of men which brought the darkspawn into our world. The mages had sought to usurp Heaven. But instead, they destroyed it. They were cast out, twisted and cursed by their own corruption. They returned as monsters, the first of the darkspawn. They became a blight upon the lands, unstoppable and relentless. The dwarven kingdoms were the first to fall. And from the deep roads, the darkspawn drove at us again and again, until finally we neared annihilation... until the Grey Wardens came. Men and women from every race, warriors and mages, barbarians and kings, the Grey Wardens sacrificed everything to stem the tide of darkness, and prevailed. It has been four centuries since that victory, and we have kept our vigil. We have watched and waited for the darkspawn to return. But those, who once called us heroes, have forgotten. We are few now, and our warnings have been ignored for too long. It may even be too late, for I have seen with my own eyes what lies upon the horizon. Maker help us all.

So far we have established our two main roles as well as their basic parameters.

@Drunken Conquistador will be taking on a male Duelist and I will be taking on a female Spirit Healer. We will then be taking on eventual side roles from various backgrounds. For the most part, our two Grey Wardens will be survivors of the battle at Ostagar. From there, they will embark on a long and fearsome quest as they try to recruit allies and find a way to stop the Blight, unaware that two others have also survived and have begun calling upon those who once signed treaties to lend their support to the Grey Wardens. Our plot will differ from the canon plot (which will still be referenced along the way, as well as effect the events going on) but may collide near the end leading up to the Landsmeet and beyond.

Our two Grey Wardens will be more experienced than Alistair and the PC, hence their narrow escape from the battle itself. They should also be somewhat friendly as to avoid the awkward stage of introductions and getting acclimated. I think our first route would be to go someplace to recover and assess the damages in Ostagar. I personally think we have some room to make up other minor locations such as towns or villages in order to suit our own means. Without Morrigan and her mother, our characters will have a challenge of recovering so we may even want to kick things a week or two after the battle itself so recovery has happened. At a certain point, my role could take over and heal us both up.

I also do plan on making a CS but I won't make it too extensive as I think most information belongs in the IC itself but if you want to give more detail in the CS, I can follow your lead.

Purddy much. XP No one be getting on his woman. She's fabulous and everyone needs to know it but at the same time...boys be stepping off or else.

I do hope the first time Tenzin sees Lin young again and she's bending like fucking crazy and swinging from her home down to meet him to see what's up, he gets some epic feels from their past. Lin is gonna be fine as hell (and more flexible) and ready to kick so much more ass.
