That sounds really amazing! I am super jealous of you but I'm glad it went as well as it could, or possibly even better! :)

At least my hell is over for the time being, yours is still constant but at least you had some kind reprieve yeah? I'm sorry that part of your job is stressful, I can imagine people are counting on you and then when something goes wrong, there's a ton of pressure and stress added on top of the normal amount. :/

And thanks, I'm glad to be back. I have forgotten what 'free time' even means but by the time I get used to it, I feel like it'll be the end of September already. I'm also on a medical fast, so I don't need to worry about cooking/eating...so hey more time to roleplay and play video games, thus postponing adult life a bit further eheheh.

So...where were we? XD

Sorry about ghosting on you. Really not my intention at all.

School really kicked my ass the last 2-3 weeks with these awful final research essays. One teacher was nice, extended deadlines, was super sweet about offering people extra credit. The other bitch who I had two classes with, was pretty much the polar opposite. Even though I did well most of the quarter with her, I accidentally gave less than the minimum for the final essays which pretty much guarantees I'll be getting Ds or Fs on the final papers, according to her. So I've been pretty stressed about whether or not I'll need to retake those classes with her...still no word on final grades but...yeah I am finally done.

I will have three months of bliss! Which means I'll be gaming and roleplaying without paranoia and insomnia. :3 I hope your vacation went well and everything else is a lot more manageable on your end (compared to mine). I hope you're enjoying the summer and everything else, again I'm sorry. I feel like an awful person but at the same time, I couldn't even think about logging on much less writing when I was trapped in the eight circle of hell... -__-'

But I am glad you're still with me, cause I think we could make something pretty epic!

@infinite I suppose a better tactic (since combinations can be staggering) would be to see which characters we're both inclined to play as, then it might be easier to narrow things down.

Hello all.

I do have a few interest check threads here which are about two years old but I thought I'd start a new one since I can't be bothered to go digging for them at the moment. A little about myself...I'm 25, turning 26 this fall, I will then graduate with my Creative Writing degree come spring and by that summer I should be applying to teach English abroad in Japan. Now before anyone jumps to conclusions, I have already taken formal Japanese classes for four years and it has evolved far beyond liking anime or manga. The culture and lifestyle are much more fascinating and though it'll be a challenge, I need to do something crazy with my life. So hopefully that means moving across the ocean to find a job because there aren't any around where I am presently.

At the current moment, I am seeking people who will join me in a great RP this summer but that is also carries us through the following other seasons. I want a partner who I can rely on. Posts don't need to come every day or even every week but I need a partner who is understanding but also self-motivated to keep a story moving when times are tough. And with school and work for us both, times will be tough. I only have two RPs going on so my plate is pretty open to new projects.

Right now I am looking for fandoms. But fret not, I have been in some lovely non-fandom stories before so if you want to try that, you can still inquire but just know, I am mostly looking for fandoms so it'll take some convincing on your part to lure me in.

When it comes to fandoms, I prefer we both play canons and if possible, we double. It's fair. But it also opens up other chances for different plots and interactions. But it's also fair. I also do smut but I do have to be in the right mood/setting for it. Since I live with my parents, I don't really have a lot of privacy. Instances of other adult/mature events like rape, abuse, etc are fine with me but in considerate moderation.

Below are fandoms I am interested in. As usual, I can do others but there are the ones I am most craving. If you have an inquiry about a fandom listed and what sort of pairs I would be inclined to focus on, post here. I am not that great with PMs and remembering to reply to them.
